Real-time assessment of subgrade compaction quality poses a significant challenge in the implementation of intelligent compaction(IC).Current compaction evaluation models are confined to specific scenarios and lack robustness.This study proposes a subgrade compaction strategy that utilizes a heterogeneous dataset to estimate compaction quality across diverse scenarios while maintaining model accuracy.Field compaction tests are conducted in four distinct scenarios,considering various construction parameters.Compaction models are developed using several machine learning algorithms.The datasets are thoroughly assessed in terms of quality,diversity and similarity.The proposed model exhibits good performance in new scenarios by incorporating an additional 5%e8%of new data for retraining.The model's generalization capability is enhanced by conducting a limited number of field tests,which are labor-saving and time-efficient.The model's accuracy consistently improves across diverse scenarios and optimal algorithms.The proposed compaction strategy adopts a physics-and-data dual-driven approach,aimed at practical engineering applications and guiding the compaction procedure. 展开更多

Students in higher vocational colleges are faced with difficult problems such as slow employment,which highlights the dislocation between education and the market.This study surveyed thousands of students and hundreds of enterprises,and put forward docking strategies.The analysis shows that the mismatch between skills adaptation and literacy is the main cause of slow employment.To this end,research and design training programs,including curriculum restructuring,school-enterprise cooperation practice platforms,and employment-oriented quality improvement plans are imperative.At the same time,we will develop teaching modules for career planning to enhance competitiveness and ensure that the content is synchronized with industry standards.After the implementation,the employment rate of students increased by 15%within six months,the degree of interconnection increased by 20%,and the degree of enterprise recognition increased by 25%.The research effectively promotes the docking of higher vocational education with the market,and has far-reaching significance for easing slow employment. 展开更多

This study investigated the effects of a CLSTS (Computer-Assisted Listening Strategy Training Software) program on the development of students' ability to use four target listening strategies to enhance their listening comprehension. This study covered an experimental group and a control group. The participants were Grade 10 Thai EFL (English as a Foreign Language) students in a Thai high school in Bangkok, Thailand. Experimental group performance was compared to that of a control group on the five research instruments. Regarding the effect of the CLSTS on the students' ability to use the target listening strategies to enhance their listening comprehension, it was found that the CLSTS was significantly effective. This paper explores how to implement effective strategy training for part-time Chinese adult English learners in a tertiary FLT (Foreign Language Teaching) classroom. Through a study of threx~ semesters during which six sessions of learner training workshops and constant, integrated task-based instruction were carried out, empirical evidence was collected via the instrument of questionnaires, interviews, learners' regular written reports, and the findings indicate that: (1) The students reported a statistically significant increase of the overaU average frequency of language strategy use over all SILL (The Strategy Inventory for Language Learning) items with 2.95 at the beginning and 3.61 at the end; and (2) Well-organized, explicit, and discrete leaner training workshops combined with frequent, explicit, and integrated task-based strategy instruction are an effective and helpful way to improve learners' awareness, selection, and frequency of strategy use, which can further foster learner autonomy. 展开更多

Listening is an important part in the second language learning process,so how to improve students’ listening comprehension especially for non-English majors becomes a main concern to teachers.For this purpose,a targeted listening strategy training was conducted in listening classes.Test results manifest that sixty participants get more or less improvement in their listening comprehension after receiving a strategy training every two hours over ten weeks.Low and middle achievers make relatively more progress than high-achievers.Interviews also indicate that high achievers use top-down strategies more than low achievers in listening process,while low achievers employ more bottom-up strategies than high achievers.This indicates that effective strategy training in listening class could enhance students’ listening performance.It is hoped that this study could give some insights to the future listening teaching. 展开更多

The ammunition loading system manipulator is susceptible to gear failure due to high-frequency,heavyload reciprocating motions and the absence of protective gear components.After a fault occurs,the distribution of fault characteristics under different loads is markedly inconsistent,and data is hard to label,which makes it difficult for the traditional diagnosis method based on single-condition training to generalize to different conditions.To address these issues,the paper proposes a novel transfer discriminant neural network(TDNN)for gear fault diagnosis.Specifically,an optimized joint distribution adaptive mechanism(OJDA)is designed to solve the distribution alignment problem between two domains.To improve the classification effect within the domain and the feature recognition capability for a few labeled data,metric learning is introduced to distinguish features from different fault categories.In addition,TDNN adopts a new pseudo-label training strategy to achieve label replacement by comparing the maximum probability of the pseudo-label with the test result.The proposed TDNN is verified in the experimental data set of the artillery manipulator device,and the diagnosis can achieve 99.5%,significantly outperforming other traditional adaptation methods. 展开更多
