Capacity matching and optimization of solarground source heat pump coupling systems 被引量:1

Ground source heat pump systems demonstrate significant potential for northern rural heating applications;however,the effectiveness of these systems is often limited by challenging geological conditions.For instance,in certain regions,the installation of buried pipes for heat exchangers may be complicated,and these pipes may not always serve as efficient low-temperature heat sources for the heat pumps of the system.To address this issue,the current study explored the use of solar-energy-collecting equipment to supplement buried pipes.In this design,both solar energy and geothermal energy provide low-temperature heat to the heat pump.First,a simulation model of a solar‒ground source heat pump coupling system was established using TRNSYS.The accuracy of this model was validated through experiments and simulations on various system configurations,including varying numbers of buried pipes,different areas of solar collectors,and varying volumes of water tanks.The simulations examined the coupling characteristics of these components and their influence on system performance.The results revealed that the operating parameters of the system remained consistent across the following configurations:three buried pipes,burial depth of 20 m,collector area of 6 m^(2),and water tank volume of 0.5 m^(3);four buried pipes,burial depth of 20 m,collector area of 3 m^(2),and water tank volume of 0.5 m^(3);and five buried pipes with a burial depth of 20 m.Furthermore,the heat collection capacity of the solar collectors spanning an area of 3 m^(2)was found to be equivalent to that of one buried pipe.Moreover,the findings revealed that the solar‒ground source heat pump coupling system demonstrated a lower annual cumulative energy consumption compared to the ground source heat pump system,presenting a reduction of 5.31%compared to the energy consumption of the latter. 展开更多

To efficiently and fully utilize aircraft carrier resources,an optimization model is presented to deal with parameter matching between aircraft and carrier in the process of aircraft catapult launch.Based on carrier aircraft longitudinal dynamic equations and theorem of kinetic energy in catapult launch course,the work characteristics of different forces are learned and a theory model of parameter matching is deduced.In view of the uncertainty of the model parameters of the theory model and the low matching accuracy of the approximate model,an optimization model of parameter matching is introduced in line with the structure of theory model and the approximate model and is generated by the proposed immune genetic algorithm.Compared with the original genetic algorithm and immune algorithm,the proposed algorithm has better calculation accuracy and convergence.The calculation results show that the optimization model occupies certain application value of engineering estimation from the comparison with the relevant literature data and has higher precision than the approximate models.The validity of the proposed approach is verified with numerical case study on a carrier based aircraft. 展开更多

Targeting at a reliable image matching of multiple remote sensing images for the generation of digital surface models,this paper presents a geometric-constrained multi-view image matching method,based on an energy minimization framework.By employing a geometrical constraint,the cost value of the energy function was calculated from multiple images,and the cost value was aggregated in an image space using a semi-global optimization approach.A homography transform parameter calculation method is proposed for fast calculation of projection pixel on each image when calculation cost values.It is based on the known interior orientation parameters,exterior orientation parameters,and a given elevation value.For an efficient and reliable processing of multiple remote sensing images,the proposed matching method was performed via a coarse-to-fine strategy through image pyramid.Three sets of airborne remote sensing images were used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method.Results reveal that the multi-view image matching can improve matching reliability.Moreover,the experimental results show that the proposed method performs better than traditional methods. 展开更多

Aiming at the development of parallel hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) powertrain, parameter matching and optimization are presented, According to the performance of PHEV, the optimization range of engine, motor, driveline gear ratio and battery parameters are determined. And then a two-level optimization problem is formulated based on analytical target cascading (ATC). At the system level, the optimization of the whole vehicle fuel economy is carried out, while the tractive performance is defined as the constraints. The optimized parameters are cascaded to the subsystem as the optimization targets. At the subsystem level, the final drive and transmission design are optimized to make the ratios as close to the targets as possible. The optimization result shows that the fuel economy had improved significantly, while the tractive performance maintains the former level. 展开更多

Based on the analysis of characteristics and advantages of HSO(harmony search optimization) algorithm, HSO was used in reservoir engineering assisted history matching of Kareem reservoir in Amal field in the Gulf of Suez, Egypt. HSO algorithm has the following advantages:(1) The good balance between exploration and exploitation techniques during searching for optimal solutions makes the HSO algorithm robust and efficient.(2) The diversity of generated solutions is more effectively controlled by two components, making it suitable for highly non-linear problems in reservoir engineering history matching.(3) The integration between the three components(harmony memory values, pitch adjusting and randomization) of the HSO helps in finding unbiased solutions.(4) The implementation process of the HSO algorithm is much easier. The HSO algorithm and two other commonly used algorithms(genetic and particle swarm optimization algorithms) were used in three reservoir engineering history match questions of different complex degrees, which are two material balance history matches of different scales and one reservoir history matching. The results were compared, which proves the superiority and validity of HSO. The results of Kareem reservoir history matching show that using the HSO algorithm as the optimization method in the assisted history matching workflow improves the simulation quality and saves solution time significantly. 展开更多

Particle accelerators are devices used for research in scientific problems such as high energy and nuclear physics.In a particle accelerator, the shape of particle beam envelope is changed dynamically along the forward direction. Thus, this reference direction can be considered as an auxiliary "time" beam axis. In this paper, the optimal beam matching control problem for a low energy transport system in a charged particle accelerator is considered. The beam matching procedure is formulated as a finite "time" dynamic optimization problem, in which the Kapchinsky-Vladimirsky(K-V) coupled envelope equations model beam dynamics. The aim is to drive any arbitrary initial beam state to a prescribed target state, as well as to track reference trajectory as closely as possible, through the control of the lens focusing strengths in the beam matching channel. We first apply the control parameterization method to optimize lens focusing strengths, and then combine this with the time-scaling transformation technique to further optimize the drift and lens length in the beam matching channel. The exact gradients of the cost function with respect to the decision parameters are computed explicitly through the state sensitivity-based analysis method. Finally, numerical simulations are illustrated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

It indicates that a great reduction on the volume is feasible under the optimal matching mode. The circuit simulation code-PSPICE is also introduced to simulate a 3-stage magnetic pulse compressor, and the results are in accordance with those of equivalent circuit analyses. 展开更多

Vegetation cover derived from remote sensing image is widely used for soil erosion risk assessment, but there is no clear guideline to select the most appropriate temporal satellite data. It is common practice that satellite data during growing season are randomly selected and used in soil erosion risk assessment. However, the effectiveness of vegetation in protecting the soil is quite different even if it is the same growing season since vegetation covers change as they grow. This article aims to provide a method of choosing optimal vegetation cover for studying soil erosion risk using remote sensing, that is, the vegetation cover in the most appropriate temporal period. Based on the temporal relationship of the two most active impact factors, rainfall and vegetation, an index of RV is developed and used to indicate the relative erosion risk during the year. The results show that annual variation of rainfall is significant, and vegetation is relatively stable, resulting in their matching relationship is different in each year. The correlation coefficient reaches 0.89 between RV and real sediment transport during the period when rainfall can cause soil erosion. In other words, RV is a good indicator of soil erosion. Therefore, there is a good correlation between RV maximum and the optimal vegetation cover, which can help facilitate erosion research in the future, showing good potential for successful application in other places. 展开更多

Control parameter optimization is an efficient way to improve the endurance of underwater gliders(UGs),which influences their gliding efficiency and energy consumption.This paper analyzes the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle and proposes a segmented control strategy of Petrel-L.The optimization of this strategy is established based on the gliding range model of UG,which is solved based on the approximate model,and the variations of the optimal control parameters with the hotel load are obtained.The optimization results indicate that the segmented control strategy can significantly increase the gliding range when the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle is reached,and the increase rate is influenced by the hotel load.The gliding range of the underwater glider can be increased by 10.47%at a hotel load of 0.5 W.The optimal matching analysis adopted in this study can be applied to other UGs to realize endurance improvement. 展开更多

The sinter quality is important for its performance in a blast furnace,and optimizing ore matching is a main way to ensure the quality and yield of sinter ore and to reduce the cost of ore matching.The research on optimizing ore matching for a 550 m2sintering machine in Shougang Jingtang was carried out in this paper.Firstly,based on the condition of iron ore resourse in Shougang,sintering properties of various ores,especially the high temperature properties were researched,and basic structure of ore matching was determined according to the mutual complementary properties of assimilation and liquid phase fluidity among Australia ore,Brazilian ore and domestic concentrates,that was Australian ore(50%-60%)+Brazilian ore(40%-30%)+domestic concentrates(about 10%).Secondly,9 groups of ore matching schemes were designed and sintering pot tests were carried out,and then the starting scheme of the 550 m2sintering machine was obtained:ore from southern Brazil(20%)+ore from northern Brazil(10%)+semi-limonite(20%)+limonite ore(35%)+domestic concentrates(15%).Thirdly,experiment of optimizing parameters of optimizing basicity,lime ratio,water addition and bed depth were carried out,and 9 groups of ore matching schemes were designed.The results showed that parameters fit for Jingtang currently are as follows:binary basicity is 1.9-1.95,lime ratio and water addition is 5%and 7.0%respectively;sintering bed should increase to 800 mm gradually.At last,Jingtang sintering plant was put into production successfully and yields stably,with the bed depth of 800 mm and advanced sintering indexes. 展开更多

To adress the problems of insufficient consideration of charging pile resource limitations,discrete-time scheduling methods that do not meet the actual demand and insufficient descriptions of peak-shaving response capability in current electric vehicle(EV)opti-mization scheduling,edge intelligence-oriented electric vehicle optimization scheduling and charging station peak-shaving response capability assessment methods are proposed on the basis of the consideration of electric vehicle and charging pile matching.First,an edge-intelligence-oriented electric vehicle regulation frame for charging stations is proposed.Second,continuous time variables are used to represent the available charging periods,establish the charging station controllable EV load model and the future available charging pile mathematical model,and establish the EV and charging pile matching matrix and constraints.Then,with the goal of maximizing the user charging demand and reducing the charging cost,the charging station EV optimal scheduling model is established,and the EV peak response capacity assessment model is further established by considering the EV load shifting constraints under different peak response capacities.Finally,a typical scenario of a real charging station is taken as an example for the analysis of optimal EV scheduling and peak shaving response capacity,and the proposed method is compared with the traditional method to verify the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method. 展开更多

First, the paper formulates the demand function under the price match policy and then discovers the retailer’s best response facing the price-matching pressure. From the theoretical analysis, we discover how the number of retailers plays an important role during the competition. When only two retailers are involved, the final prices may not converge to a single value. However, when more retailers are involved, the final price will converge to a single value. We also use numerical studies to illuminate the change of the prices over the time period, the sensitivity of the final price to the increment/decrement of initial prices. Finally, we provide managerial suggestions to both producers and retailers. 展开更多

This paper proposes a practical method for computing the peak output of linear time-invariant and non-anticipative systems for a class of possible sets that are characterized with many bounding conditions on the two- and/or the infinity-norms of the inputs and their derivatives. The original infinite-dimensional convex optimization problem is approximated as a large-scale convex programme defined in a Euclidean space, which are associated with sparse matrices and thus can be solved efficiently in practice. The numerical results show that the method performs satisfactorily, and that using a possible set with many bounding conditions can help to reduce the design conservatism and thereby yield a better match. 展开更多

The relationship between engine mechanics and thermo-dynamics has been investigated by means of numerical simulation.The inherent mismatching between the mechanical behaviors and the thermodynamic process in internal combustion engine is identified,which is believed to be one of the important limiting factors of energy efficiency for conventional engines available in the current market.An approach for engine efficiency improvement through optimal matching between mechanics and thermodynamics(OMBMT)is proposed.An ideal matching model is defined and the conflicts due to the constraints among the mapping strokes in a 4-stroke engine are analyzed.A novel mechanical model is built for approaching optimal matching among all 4 individual strokes in a 4-stroke spark-ignition engine,which is composed of non-circular gears(NCG)and integrated with conventional slider crank engine mechanism.By means of digital mechanical model and numerical simulation,the matching gains among all 4 strokes are defined and calculated for quantifying the NCG engine efficiency improvement by comparing with a baseline engine.The potentials with the OMBMT implemented and the enhancements made by NCG mechanism for engines in terms of overall engine efficiency are reported.Based on the results achieved,it is recommended that the feasibility studies and the experimental validations should be conducted to verify the engine matching concept and effectiveness of the NCG mechanism engine model proposed,and the engine performance and NCG design parameters should be further optimized. 展开更多
