This paper presents the results of a qualitative research based on a focus group organized within the specializations of Tourism-Services,and Management of FSEAA Brasov, and based on evaluation questionnaires of Management in Tourism courses, organized by SFMT during 2016.In this research, the main features of current graduates(Generation Z born after 1994)were captured, the first generation raised in a digital environment with an online childhood,in relationship with their attitude towards the labor market compared to previous generations(X-born between 1966 and 1976 and Y-Millennials-born between 1977 and 1995),and the need to adapt to the educational system, and the employers’attitude towards these new perspectives, where personal time becomes often more important than the work place. This is a generation of independent people that will change the world! The research has led to conclusions and recommendations at several levels:(1)at a national level-the need to propose some strategies for retaining employment inside the national economy and attracting labor from Diaspora;here an important role can be played within the European funding programs POCU and PNRDP to finance entrepreneurial initiatives;(2)at the employers level-implementing appropriate strategies of attracting and creating loyalty of human resources,of reduction or elimination of seasonality;and(3)at the educational system-strategies to encourage completion of studies at all levels, adapting the system to the needs of new generations, through employers’involvement in the educational process by stimulating the dual vocational education. 展开更多

The background of the study is based on previous studies dealing with the areas of Transdanubia of Hungary. Those works have proved the hypothesis of author that local ingredients and dishes represent minimum role on menus. The question is how similar or different the choice of menus of Budapest-Middle-Danube compared with the previously examined areas of Hungary. There can be another question about the usage of local ingredients available near to the catering units. This piece of work has studied 79 menus of Budapest-Middle-Danube, Hungary. The material was collected from different types of restaurants, small restaurants (vendeglo in Hungarian) and roadside restaurants (csarda in Hungarian). The method of the work was on the one hand, data collecting, and on the other hand, examination of the differences between the catering units in details: the number of dishes, the right order of dishes, the appearance of local ingredients and dishes, the consideration of seasonality, the usage of different cooking methods and group of dishes. The study reflects the main problems of countryside restaurants in Hungary. Only minimum number of dishes could be connected to local dishes out of more than thousands. All in all, dishes are not as precise and perfect as the "old ones", so that is why it is important for every expert keep the traditions alive in daily routines and strategic mean too. 展开更多

Despite its tiny territory, Macao boasts a large volume of tourist activities, which serves as the pillar of its economy. En- vironment and natural resources are the cornerstone of tourism, but are also subject to the negative impact of tourism. Based on the theory and methodology of ecological footprint analysis, this paper calculated the touristic ecological footprint and deficit of Macao in 2009, in an effort to bring to light the current status of excessive consumption of resources by tourism. As the findings show, the non-h'ansferable touristic ecological footprint and touristic ecologi- cal deficit of Macao in 2009 are respectively 18 300.891 gha and 12 737.584 gha, and the former is 3.29 times as large as the tour- istic ecological carrying capacity. Touristic ecological footprint of Macao is highly efficient in economic sense but currently tourism is developing in an unsustainable manner, so appropriate initiatives are in need to strike a balance between tourism development and resource conservation and to promote the sustainability of tourism industry of Macao. 展开更多

This study investigates the motivations of Chinese domestic tourists visiting seismic memorial sites after the great Wenchuan earthquake of 2008, and examines their interpretation of experiences and benefits of the visits. Recent research on dark tourism has raised the possibility that people are attracted to death and memorial sites in ways different from other tourist attractions. The study used an empirical research design employing questionnaires to collect data from 255 Chinese domestic visitors at seismic memorial sites in west Sichuan. Analysis revealed that the obligation of commemoration mixed with curiosity represents a different set of travel motivation in dark tourism settings than in other kinds of tourism. In addition, the empirical evidence also suggests an interrelated pattern between motivations, experiences and benefits. This study implies that Chinese domestic tourists were attracted in ways different from other tourist attractions both because they tended to fulfill their obligation of commemoration and were interested in destruction; and visitor experiences played an important mediating role between travel motivations and benefits gained. 展开更多

Every year, during the rainy season,a scenic road winding through China's Poyang Lake like a mythical(虚构的)dragon becomes flooded, offering a unique driving and visual experience.Yongwu Road is the only stretch of road connecting Wucheng, one of the oldest townships in China,to neighboring townships and counties.Part of the X219 county road, this 5.05 km piece of infrastructure was built straight through Poyang Lake,China's largest freshwater lake, making it one of the most famous tourist attractions of Jiangxi Province. But Yongwu Road is most popular with tourists at the onset of the rainy season, during spring when the water level starts rising. When the level of the surrounding lake reaches about 18.6 meters, water submerges(淹没)part of the road, turning Yongwu Road into“China's most beautiful road under the water” 展开更多

In the information age,the movement of livelihood factors between urban and rural areas, particularly involving farmers in rural tourism destinations, has stimulated the spatial revitalization and functional renewal of these destinations, thereby facilitating the advancement of rural revitalization. The examination of livelihood strategy selection among farmers in rural tourist destinations during the information age is a critical scientific inquiry for the sustainable development of rural tourism. This research holds substantial significance for enhancing the livelihood capabilities of farmers and contributing to the revitalization of rural industries. This study utilizes Xijiang Miao Village as a case study to conduct an in-depth analysis of farmers’livelihood strategy selection through the application of the entropy evaluation method and the binary logistic regression model. The findings indicate that the robust development of rural tourism has led to significant alterations in the original composition of livelihood capital in tourist destinations.Currently, four distinct types of livelihoods have been identified:agricultural-based,migrantwork-oriented,tourism-specialized,and tourism-supplemented.Due to the uneven distribution of livelihood capital, the predominant livelihood modes for farmers in rural tourism destinations remain the agricultural-based and tourism-supplemented types.Human capital and economic capital are the primary factors influencing the strategic choices made by farmers. In this context,a livelihood selection strategy for farmers in rural tourist destinations, specifically in Xijiang Miao Village,is proposed, taking into account the background of rural informatization. 展开更多
