Ti5Al2.5Sn ELI钛合金是航空航天等领域重要的结构材料。本工作采用3种铸型同炉浇注的方法研究了铸造工艺对该合金铸态组织和室温拉伸性能的影响。结果表明,该合金石墨型铸造试样表面粗糙,陶瓷型和金属型的则较光滑;石墨型试样宏观组织为大量等轴晶和少量柱状晶,金属型的为少量等轴晶和大量柱状晶,陶瓷型的为粗大柱状晶和等轴晶;不同工艺下显微组织均由不规则边界α集束组成,其内部为片状α相,石墨型的α片宽度最小,金属型的次之,陶瓷型的最大;该合金铸态抗拉强度715~731 MPa、伸长率8%~15%,石墨型的伸长率最高,金属型的次之,陶瓷型的最低,铸造工艺对该合金塑性影响强烈,但对强度的影响较小;铸型表面形貌、导热系数、α集束大小及α片厚度的不同是上述现象产生的主要原因。 展开更多

采用高能机械球磨和脉冲电流活化烧结方法制备了一种新型的不含Al、V等有毒元素的β钛合金基体的Ti35Nb2.5Sn5HA生物复合材料。研究了不同机械球磨时间球磨的Ti35Nb2.5Sn5HA粉末以及用这几种粉末烧结制备的样品微观组织和显微硬度变化,... 采用高能机械球磨和脉冲电流活化烧结方法制备了一种新型的不含Al、V等有毒元素的β钛合金基体的Ti35Nb2.5Sn5HA生物复合材料。研究了不同机械球磨时间球磨的Ti35Nb2.5Sn5HA粉末以及用这几种粉末烧结制备的样品微观组织和显微硬度变化,球磨时间对烧结复合材料的微观组织和性能的影响。结果表明:随着球磨时间的增加,Ti35Nb2.5Sn5HA粉末的颗粒尺寸逐渐减小,Nb和Sn开始与Ti发生固溶,形成Ti的过饱和固溶体,而且α-Ti也开始向β-Ti转化。当球磨时间达到12 h,球磨粉末中α-Ti完全转化为β-Ti,粉末颗粒的平均尺寸为500 nm左右。12 h球磨的粉末烧结制备的复合材料具有超细晶粒尺寸,晶粒平均尺寸为200 nm,这种复合材料的维氏显微硬度可以达到10 187.3 MPa。 展开更多

The microstructure, microhardness and tensile properties of laser additive manufactured (LAM) Ti?5Al?2Sn?2Zr?4Mo?4Cr alloy were investigated. The result shows that the microstructure evolution is strongly affected by the thermal history of LAM process. Primary α (αp) with different morphologies, secondary α (αs) and martensite α' can be observed at different positions of the LAMed specimen. Annealing treatment can promote the precipitation of rib-like α phase or acicular α phase. As a result, it can increase or decrease the microhardness. The as-deposited L-direction and T-direction specimens contain the same phase constituent with different morphologies. The tensile properties of the as-deposited LAMed specimens are characterized of anisotropy. The L-direction specimen shows the character of low strength but high ductility when compared with the T-direction specimen. After annealing treatment, the strength of L-direction specimen increases significantly while the ductility reduces. The strength of the annealed T-direction specimen changes little, however, the ductility reduces nearly by 50%. 展开更多

Split Hopkinson pressure bar test system was used to investigate the plastic deformation behavior and dynamic response character of a-type Ti–5Al–2.5Sn ELI and near a-type Ti–8Al–1Mo–1V titanium alloy when subjected to dynamic loading. In the present work, stress–strain curves at strain rate from 1.5 9 103to 5.0 9 103s-1were analyzed, and optical microscope(OM) was used to reveal adiabatic shearing behavior of recovered samples. Results show that both the two alloys manifest significant strain hardening effects. Critical damage strain rate of the two alloys is about 4.3 9 103s-1, under which the impact absorbs energy of Ti–5Al–2.5Sn ELI and Ti–8Al–1Mo–1V are 560 and 470 MJ m-3, respectively. Both of them fracture along the maximum shearing strength orientation, an angle of 45° to the compression axis. No adiabatic shear band(ASB) is found in Ti–5Al–2.5Sn ELI alloy, whereas several ASBs with different widths exist without regular direction in Ti–8Al–1Mo–1V alloy. 展开更多

The results show that the new titanium alloy Ti 5Al 2.5ZrELI has more consistent properties because of its uniform microstructure and less segregation. It has good elongation and ductility. The fracture surfaces are covered with elongated dimples at cryogenic temperatures. The deformation mode at 293?K, 20?K and 4.2?K are twinning and slipping. [ 展开更多
