Buried interface passivation is crucial for high-efficiency,stable perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Herein,we design a three-layer passivation structure toward the buried interface of inverted PSCs,consisting of NiO_(x),p...Buried interface passivation is crucial for high-efficiency,stable perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Herein,we design a three-layer passivation structure toward the buried interface of inverted PSCs,consisting of NiO_(x),poly(V-p-TPD)and PFN-Br(V-p-TPD,N,N'-di-p-tolyl-N,-N'-bis(4-vinylphenyl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine;PFN-Br,poly[(9,9-bis(3'-((N,N-dimethyl)-N-ethylammonium)-propyl)-2,7-fluorene)-alt-2,7-(9,9-dioctylfluorene)]dibromide).Typically,in situ poly(V-p-TPD)layer on the NiO_(x) surface was obtained by a simple thermal crosslinking process.This poly(V-p-TPD)/NiO_(x) bilayer structure is beneficial for hole extraction and high-quality perovskite films with larger grain sizes and less lattice distortion.On this basis,the PFN-Br is further introduced as a surface modification layer,which can not only optimize the energy level alignment with the perovskite but also passivate defects and suppress carrier recombination at the perovskite bottom interface.Finally,inverted PSCs based on(FA_(0.95)Cs_(0.05))PbI_(3) present 25.5%efficiency with a low V_(OC)deficit.Besides,the devices could maintain 91.15%of the initial efficiency after being stored at 85℃for 1080 h,indicating excellent thermal stability.This work highlights the potential of a three-layered passivation structure based on crosslinking polymer HTLs for highly efficient and stable PSCs.展开更多
Structural Health Monitoring(SHM)systems play a key role in managing buildings and infrastructure by delivering vital insights into their strength and structural integrity.There is a need for more efficient techniques...Structural Health Monitoring(SHM)systems play a key role in managing buildings and infrastructure by delivering vital insights into their strength and structural integrity.There is a need for more efficient techniques to detect defects,as traditional methods are often prone to human error,and this issue is also addressed through image processing(IP).In addition to IP,automated,accurate,and real-time detection of structural defects,such as cracks,corrosion,and material degradation that conventional inspection techniques may miss,is made possible by Artificial Intelligence(AI)technologies like Machine Learning(ML)and Deep Learning(DL).This review examines the integration of computer vision and AI techniques in Structural Health Monitoring(SHM),investigating their effectiveness in detecting various forms of structural deterioration.Also,it evaluates ML and DL models in SHM for their accuracy in identifying and assessing structural damage,ultimately enhancing safety,durability,and maintenance practices in the field.Key findings reveal that AI-powered approaches,especially those utilizing IP and DL models like CNNs,significantly improve detection efficiency and accuracy,with reported accuracies in various SHM tasks.However,significant research gaps remain,including challenges with the consistency,quality,and environmental resilience of image data,a notable lack of standardized models and datasets for training across diverse structures,and concerns regarding computational costs,model interpretability,and seamless integration with existing systems.Future work should focus on developing more robust models through data augmentation,transfer learning,and hybrid approaches,standardizing protocols,and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to overcome these limitations and achieve more reliable,scalable,and affordable SHM systems.展开更多

X-ray computed tomography was applied to deriving the cross-sectional imag...Methods and procedures of three-dimensional (3D) characterization of the pore structure features in the packed ore particle bed are focused. X-ray computed tomography was applied to deriving the cross-sectional images of specimens with single particle size of 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10 ram. Based on the in-house developed 3D image analysis programs using Matlab, the volume porosity, pore size distribution and degree of connectivity were calculated and analyzed in detail. The results indicate that the volume porosity, the mean diameter of pores and the effective pore size (d50) increase with the increasing of particle size. Lognormal distribution or Gauss distribution is mostly suitable to model the pore size distribution. The degree of connectivity investigated on the basis of cluster-labeling algorithm also increases with increasing the particle size approximately.展开更多
Transforming a scattering medium into a lens for imaging very simple binary objects is possible;however,it remains challenging to image complex grayscale objects,let alone measure 3D continuous distribution objects.He...Transforming a scattering medium into a lens for imaging very simple binary objects is possible;however,it remains challenging to image complex grayscale objects,let alone measure 3D continuous distribution objects.Here,we propose and demonstrate the use of a ground glass diffuser as a scattering lens for imaging complex grayscale fringes,and we employ it to achieve microscopic structured light 3D imaging(MSL3DI).The ubiquitous property of the speckle patterns permits the exploitation of the scattering medium as an ultra-thin scattering lens with a variable focal length and a flexible working distance for microscale object measurement.The method provides a light,flexible,and cost-effective imaging device as an alternative to microscope objectives or telecentric lenses in conventional MSL3DI systems.We experimentally demonstrate that employing a scattering lens allows us to achieve relatively good phase information and robust 3D imaging from depth measurements,yielding measurement accuracy only marginally lower than that of a telecentric lens,typically within approximately 10μm.Furthermore,the scattering lens demonstrates robust performance even when the imaging distance exceeds the typical working distance of a telecentric lens.The proposed method facilitates the application of scattering imaging techniques,providing a more flexible solution for MSL3DI.展开更多
We report a study on the electronic structure and chemical bonding of the PB and AsB diatomic molecules using high-resolution photoelectron imaging of cryogenically-cooled PB^(−)and AsB^(−)anions.The electron affiniti...We report a study on the electronic structure and chemical bonding of the PB and AsB diatomic molecules using high-resolution photoelectron imaging of cryogenically-cooled PB^(−)and AsB^(−)anions.The electron affinities of PB and AsB are measured to be 2.751(1)and 2.600(1)eV,respectively.The ground states of the PB^(−)and AsB−anions are determined to be ^(2)Σ^(+) with a σ^(1)π^(4) valence electron configuration.The ground states of neutral PB and AsB are found to be ^(3)Π_(2) with a σ^(1)π^(3) electron configuration.The spin-orbit excited states(^(3)Π_(1) and ^(3)Π_(0)),as well as two low-lying singlet excited states(^(1)Σ^(+)and ^(1)Π),are observed.Unusual spectroscopic characteristics are observed in the ^(3)Π_(2) ground state of AsB,probably due to state mixing with a higher-lying ^(1)Δ_(2) state.The current work provides extensive electronic and spectroscopic information for the PB and AsB molecules.展开更多
The prediction of fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)images from fundus structural images is a cutting-edge research topic in ophthalmological image processing.Prediction comprises estimating FFA from fundus camera im...The prediction of fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)images from fundus structural images is a cutting-edge research topic in ophthalmological image processing.Prediction comprises estimating FFA from fundus camera imaging,single-phase FFA from scanning laser ophthalmoscopy(SLO),and three-phase FFA also from SLO.Although many deep learning models are available,a single model can only perform one or two of these prediction tasks.To accomplish three prediction tasks using a unified method,we propose a unified deep learning model for predicting FFA images from fundus structure images using a supervised generative adversarial network.The three prediction tasks are processed as follows:data preparation,network training under FFA supervision,and FFA image prediction from fundus structure images on a test set.By comparing the FFA images predicted by our model,pix2pix,and CycleGAN,we demonstrate the remarkable progress achieved by our proposal.The high performance of our model is validated in terms of the peak signal-to-noise ratio,structural similarity index,and mean squared error.展开更多

A tomographic time-resolved particle image velocimetry (TRPIV) system is used to measure the instantaneous three-dimensional-three-component (3D-3C) velocity field. The momentum thickness based Reynolds number is about 2 460. The topological information in the log-law region is obtained experimentally. It is found that the existence of the quadrupole topological structure implies a three-pair hairpin-like vortex packet, which is in connection with the low/high-speed streak. An idealized 3D topological model is then proposed to characterize the observed hairpin vortex packet and low/high-speed streak.展开更多

The method includes two phases: First, a partial differential equations (PDE) based the total variation model and Otsu thresholding method are used to preprocess the calligraphy document image. Second, a new method based on run-length statistics and structure charac- teristics of Chinese characters is proposed to remove some random and ant-like noises. This includes the optimal threshold se- lection from histogram of run-length probability density, and improved Hough transform algorithm for line shape noise detection and removal. The structured low-rank model for parallel magnetic resonance(MR)imaging can efficiently reconstruct MR images with limited auto-calibration signals.To improve the reconstruction quality of MR images,we integrate the ...The structured low-rank model for parallel magnetic resonance(MR)imaging can efficiently reconstruct MR images with limited auto-calibration signals.To improve the reconstruction quality of MR images,we integrate the joint sparsity and sparsifying transform learning(JTL)into the simultaneous auto-calibrating and k-space estimation(SAKE)structured low-rank model,named JTLSAKE.The alternate direction method of multipliers is exploited to solve the resulting optimization problem,and the optimized gradient method is used to improve the convergence speed.In addition,a graphics processing unit is used to accelerate the proposed algorithm.The experimental results on four in vivo human datasets demonstrate that the reconstruction quality of the proposed algorithm is comparable to that of JTL-based low-rank modeling of local k-space neighborhoods with parallel imaging(JTL-PLORAKS),and the proposed algorithm is 46 times faster than the JTL-PLORAKS,requiring only 4 s to reconstruct a 200×200 pixels MR image with 8 channels.展开更多
The traditional information hiding methods embed the secret information by modifying the carrier,which will inevitably leave traces of modification on the carrier.In this way,it is hard to resist the detection of steg...The traditional information hiding methods embed the secret information by modifying the carrier,which will inevitably leave traces of modification on the carrier.In this way,it is hard to resist the detection of steganalysis algorithm.To address this problem,the concept of coverless information hiding was proposed.Coverless information hiding can effectively resist steganalysis algorithm,since it uses unmodified natural stego-carriers to represent and convey confidential information.However,the state-of-the-arts method has a low hidden capacity,which makes it less appealing.Because the pixel values of different regions of the molecular structure images of material(MSIM)are usually different,this paper proposes a novel coverless information hiding method based on MSIM,which utilizes the average value of sub-image’s pixels to represent the secret information,according to the mapping between pixel value intervals and secret information.In addition,we employ a pseudo-random label sequence that is used to determine the position of sub-images to improve the security of the method.And the histogram of the Bag of words model(BOW)is used to determine the number of subimages in the image that convey secret information.Moreover,to improve the retrieval efficiency,we built a multi-level inverted index structure.Furthermore,the proposed method can also be used for other natural images.Compared with the state-of-the-arts,experimental results and analysis manifest that our method has better performance in anti-steganalysis,security and capacity.展开更多

To resolve the difficulty of defect segmentation in variable grey image, the image processing based on Visual Basic programming method was adopted. The methods of automatic contrast and partial grey stretch were used to enhance the X-ray detection image which has relatively low contrast, then automatic threshold method was carried out to segment the two high intensity zones, and weld zones which contain the small defects was extracted. Smoothing and sharpen processing were proceeded on the extracted weld zones, and small defects in X-ray detection image of weldments with complex structure were segmented by using the method of background subtraction in the end. The effects of raster were eliminated, and because of that the image processing was only proceeded on the extracted weld zones, the calculated speed using the above provided algorithm was improved.展开更多

According to the diversity in directions, angle str...This paper presents an efficient image feature representation method, namely angle structure descriptor(ASD), which is built based on the angle structures of images. According to the diversity in directions, angle structures are defined in local blocks. Combining color information in HSV color space, we use angle structures to detect images. The internal correlations between neighboring pixels in angle structures are explored to form a feature vector. With angle structures as bridges, ASD extracts image features by integrating multiple information as a whole, such as color, texture, shape and spatial layout information. In addition, the proposed algorithm is efficient for image retrieval without any clustering implementation or model training. Experimental results demonstrate that ASD outperforms the other related algorithms.展开更多
This research investigates the aerodynamic performance and flow characteristics of a delta wing with 65° sweep angle and with coarse axial riblets,and then compares with that of a smooth-surface delta wing.Partic...This research investigates the aerodynamic performance and flow characteristics of a delta wing with 65° sweep angle and with coarse axial riblets,and then compares with that of a smooth-surface delta wing.Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV)were utilized to visualize the flow over the wing at 6 cross-sections upright to the wing surface and parallel to the wing span,as well as 3 longitudinal sections on the leading edge,symmetry plane,and a plane between them at Angles of Attack(AOA)=20°and 30°and Re=1.2×10~5,2.4×10~5,and 3.6×10~5.The effects of the riblets were studied on the vortices diameter,vortex breakdown location,vortices distance from the wing surface,flow lines pattern nearby the wing,circulation distribution,and separation.The results show that the textured model has a positive effect on some of the parameters related to drag reduction and lift increase.The riblets increase the flow momentum near the wing’s upper surface except near the apex.They also increase the flow momentum behind the wing.展开更多

It...Aiming at the problem that the existence of disturbances on the edges of light-stripe makes the segmentation of the light-stripes images difficult, a new segmentation algorithm based on edge-searching is presented. It firstly calculates every edge pixel's horizontal coordinate grads to produce the corresponding grads-edge, then uses a designed length-variable l D template to scan the light-stripes' grads-edges. The template is able to find the disturbances with different width utilizing the distributing character of the edge disturbances. The found disturbances are eliminated finally. The algorithm not only can smoothly segment the light-stripes images, but also eliminate most disturbances on the light-stripes' edges without damaging the light-stripes images' 3D information. A practical example of using the proposed algorithm is given in the end. It is proved that the efficiency of the algorithm has been improved obviously by comparison.展开更多

The coke properties in elude the size an...The quality of coke affects the performance of the blast furnace, factors affecting coke quality include coal properties, coal charge granulometry and carbonization conditions. The coke properties in elude the size analysis, cold strength (Micum Indices-M4(). MI0) and hot strength (Coke Reactivity Index-CRI, Coke Strength after Reaction-CSR) properties and structural properties such as coke structure and texture. Structural properties comprise the porosity, pore-cell wall thickness and pore sizes, while textures consist of the carbon forms in the coke. In present work, advanced method such as image analysis method was used to interpret coke microstructure. Conventional methods such as determination of coke porosity by measurement of real and apparent density and mercury porosimetry have a number of limitations. Coke size, magnification, number of image frames captured, process of pellet preparations and coke properties such as M4(), M|0, CRI and CSR (low, medium and high values) were taken as variables for experimental purposes. The coke structure parameters such as porosity, length, perimeter, breadth, roundness, pore-wall thickness and pore size distribution of the pores were determined by image analysis method. This method provided average porosity in addition to pore-wall thickness and pore-size distribution. The pore wall thickness measuremenl by image analysis method provided significant correlations with M40, CRI and CSR values. This explained the usability of image analysis for coke structure measurement.展开更多
Automatic and robust matching of multi-modal images can be challenging owing to the nonlinear intensity differences caused by radiometric variations among these images.To address this problem,a novel dense feature des...Automatic and robust matching of multi-modal images can be challenging owing to the nonlinear intensity differences caused by radiometric variations among these images.To address this problem,a novel dense feature descriptor and improved similarity measure are proposed for enhancing the matching performance.The proposed descriptor is built on a voting scheme of structure tensor that can effectively capture the geometric structural properties of images.It is not only illumination and contrast invariant but also robust against the degradation caused by significant noise.Further,the similarity measure is improved to adapt to the reversal of orientation caused by the intensity inversion between multi-modal images.The proposed dense feature descriptor and improved similarity measure enable the development of a robust and practical templatematching algorithm for multi-modal images.We verify the proposed algorithm with a broad range of multi-modal images including optical,infrared,Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR),digital surface model,and map data.The experimental results confirm its superiority to the state-of-the-art methods.展开更多
The pore structure images of ore particles located at different heights of leaching column were scanned with X-ray computerized tomography (CT) scanner, the porosity and pore size distribution were calculated and the ...The pore structure images of ore particles located at different heights of leaching column were scanned with X-ray computerized tomography (CT) scanner, the porosity and pore size distribution were calculated and the geometrical shape and connectivity of pores were analyzed based on image process method, and the three dimensional reconstruction of pore structure images was realized. The results show that the porosity of ore particles bed in leaching column is 42.92%, 41.72%, 39.34% at top, middle and bottom zone, respectively. Obviously it has spatial variability and decreases appreciably along the height of the column. The overall average porosity obtained by image processing is 41.33% while the porosity gotten from general measurement method in laboratory is 42.77% showing the results of both methods are consistent well. The pore structure of ore granular media is characterized as a dynamical space network composed of interconnected pore bodies and pore throats. The ratio of throats with equivalent diameter less than 1.91 mm to the total pores is 29.31%, and that of the large pores with equivalent diameter more than 5.73 mm is 2.90%.展开更多
A quantitative analysis of the porosity,pore size distribution,and fractal dimensions of pores is significant for studying the pore structure characteristics of coal.This study utilized 12 anthracite coal samples from...A quantitative analysis of the porosity,pore size distribution,and fractal dimensions of pores is significant for studying the pore structure characteristics of coal.This study utilized 12 anthracite coal samples from the Sihe mining area to explore the pore structure characteristics of the coal therein.Hundred randomly selected points on each sliced coal sample were imaged via scanning electron microscopy,and a total of 1200 images were used for the analysis.The porosity and fractal dimensions of the coal samples were analyzed via digital image processing and box-counting dimension methods.This method is characterized by extensive graphical analysis,and the results are based on statistical methods.These were also used to analyze the structural and development characteristics of the microscopic pores in the coal.The results reveal that the surface porosity obtained via digital image processing was 16.11%lower than that measured experimentally.The fractal dimension and porosity of the pore surface were fitted to a natural logarithmic curve.The rate of change in the pore fractal dimension depends on the porosity such that,to some degree,a greater porosity is associated with more complex pore structures,a higher degree of micropore development,and improved pore connectivity.展开更多

The TFT, configured with the inner electrode...We report a high-performance active image sensor pixel design by utilizing amorphous-indium-gallium-zinc-oxide(aIGZO) thin-film transistors(TFTs) with a circular structure. The TFT, configured with the inner electrode as source and outer electrode as drain, typically exhibits good saturation electrical characteristics, where the device has a constant drive current despite variations in drain voltage. Due to the very high output resistance exhibited by this asymmetric TFT structure with a circular shape, the pixel circuit considered here in common-drain configuration provides a higher gain of operation than a pixel circuit implemented with rectangular a-IGZO TFTs. They can be used as driving TFTs in active image sensor circuits. They are, therefore,good candidates for digital X-ray detectors in applications such as medical diagnostic procedures.展开更多

文摘Transforming a scattering medium into a lens for imaging very simple binary objects is possible;however,it remains challenging to image complex grayscale objects,let alone measure 3D continuous distribution objects.Here,we propose and demonstrate the use of a ground glass diffuser as a scattering lens for imaging complex grayscale fringes,and we employ it to achieve microscopic structured light 3D imaging(MSL3DI).The ubiquitous property of the speckle patterns permits the exploitation of the scattering medium as an ultra-thin scattering lens with a variable focal length and a flexible working distance for microscale object measurement.The method provides a light,flexible,and cost-effective imaging device as an alternative to microscope objectives or telecentric lenses in conventional MSL3DI systems.We experimentally demonstrate that employing a scattering lens allows us to achieve relatively good phase information and robust 3D imaging from depth measurements,yielding measurement accuracy only marginally lower than that of a telecentric lens,typically within approximately 10μm.Furthermore,the scattering lens demonstrates robust performance even when the imaging distance exceeds the typical working distance of a telecentric lens.The proposed method facilitates the application of scattering imaging techniques,providing a more flexible solution for MSL3DI.

文摘We report a study on the electronic structure and chemical bonding of the PB and AsB diatomic molecules using high-resolution photoelectron imaging of cryogenically-cooled PB^(−)and AsB^(−)anions.The electron affinities of PB and AsB are measured to be 2.751(1)and 2.600(1)eV,respectively.The ground states of the PB^(−)and AsB−anions are determined to be ^(2)Σ^(+) with a σ^(1)π^(4) valence electron configuration.The ground states of neutral PB and AsB are found to be ^(3)Π_(2) with a σ^(1)π^(3) electron configuration.The spin-orbit excited states(^(3)Π_(1) and ^(3)Π_(0)),as well as two low-lying singlet excited states(^(1)Σ^(+)and ^(1)Π),are observed.Unusual spectroscopic characteristics are observed in the ^(3)Π_(2) ground state of AsB,probably due to state mixing with a higher-lying ^(1)Δ_(2) state.The current work provides extensive electronic and spectroscopic information for the PB and AsB molecules.

文摘The prediction of fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)images from fundus structural images is a cutting-edge research topic in ophthalmological image processing.Prediction comprises estimating FFA from fundus camera imaging,single-phase FFA from scanning laser ophthalmoscopy(SLO),and three-phase FFA also from SLO.Although many deep learning models are available,a single model can only perform one or two of these prediction tasks.To accomplish three prediction tasks using a unified method,we propose a unified deep learning model for predicting FFA images from fundus structure images using a supervised generative adversarial network.The three prediction tasks are processed as follows:data preparation,network training under FFA supervision,and FFA image prediction from fundus structure images on a test set.By comparing the FFA images predicted by our model,pix2pix,and CycleGAN,we demonstrate the remarkable progress achieved by our proposal.The high performance of our model is validated in terms of the peak signal-to-noise ratio,structural similarity index,and mean squared error.

文摘The relationship between the in the logarithmic law (log-law) region of bursting event and the low/high-speed streak a turbulent boundary layer is investigated. A tomographic time-resolved particle image velocimetry (TRPIV) system is used to measure the instantaneous three-dimensional-three-component (3D-3C) velocity field. The momentum thickness based Reynolds number is about 2 460. The topological information in the log-law region is obtained experimentally. It is found that the existence of the quadrupole topological structure implies a three-pair hairpin-like vortex packet, which is in connection with the low/high-speed streak. An idealized 3D topological model is then proposed to characterize the observed hairpin vortex packet and low/high-speed streak.

文摘In this paper, a novel approach is proposed for denoising of Chinese calligraphy tablet documents. The method includes two phases: First, a partial differential equations (PDE) based the total variation model and Otsu thresholding method are used to preprocess the calligraphy document image. Second, a new method based on run-length statistics and structure charac- teristics of Chinese characters is proposed to remove some random and ant-like noises. This includes the optimal threshold se- lection from histogram of run-length probability density, and improved Hough transform algorithm for line shape noise detection and removal. Examples are given in the paper to demonstrate the proposed method.

文摘The structured low-rank model for parallel magnetic resonance(MR)imaging can efficiently reconstruct MR images with limited auto-calibration signals.To improve the reconstruction quality of MR images,we integrate the joint sparsity and sparsifying transform learning(JTL)into the simultaneous auto-calibrating and k-space estimation(SAKE)structured low-rank model,named JTLSAKE.The alternate direction method of multipliers is exploited to solve the resulting optimization problem,and the optimized gradient method is used to improve the convergence speed.In addition,a graphics processing unit is used to accelerate the proposed algorithm.The experimental results on four in vivo human datasets demonstrate that the reconstruction quality of the proposed algorithm is comparable to that of JTL-based low-rank modeling of local k-space neighborhoods with parallel imaging(JTL-PLORAKS),and the proposed algorithm is 46 times faster than the JTL-PLORAKS,requiring only 4 s to reconstruct a 200×200 pixels MR image with 8 channels.

文摘The traditional information hiding methods embed the secret information by modifying the carrier,which will inevitably leave traces of modification on the carrier.In this way,it is hard to resist the detection of steganalysis algorithm.To address this problem,the concept of coverless information hiding was proposed.Coverless information hiding can effectively resist steganalysis algorithm,since it uses unmodified natural stego-carriers to represent and convey confidential information.However,the state-of-the-arts method has a low hidden capacity,which makes it less appealing.Because the pixel values of different regions of the molecular structure images of material(MSIM)are usually different,this paper proposes a novel coverless information hiding method based on MSIM,which utilizes the average value of sub-image’s pixels to represent the secret information,according to the mapping between pixel value intervals and secret information.In addition,we employ a pseudo-random label sequence that is used to determine the position of sub-images to improve the security of the method.And the histogram of the Bag of words model(BOW)is used to determine the number of subimages in the image that convey secret information.Moreover,to improve the retrieval efficiency,we built a multi-level inverted index structure.Furthermore,the proposed method can also be used for other natural images.Compared with the state-of-the-arts,experimental results and analysis manifest that our method has better performance in anti-steganalysis,security and capacity.
文摘In this paper, the X-ray nondestructive test method of small defects in precision weldments with complex structure was presented. To resolve the difficulty of defect segmentation in variable grey image, the image processing based on Visual Basic programming method was adopted. The methods of automatic contrast and partial grey stretch were used to enhance the X-ray detection image which has relatively low contrast, then automatic threshold method was carried out to segment the two high intensity zones, and weld zones which contain the small defects was extracted. Smoothing and sharpen processing were proceeded on the extracted weld zones, and small defects in X-ray detection image of weldments with complex structure were segmented by using the method of background subtraction in the end. The effects of raster were eliminated, and because of that the image processing was only proceeded on the extracted weld zones, the calculated speed using the above provided algorithm was improved.

文摘This paper presents an efficient image feature representation method, namely angle structure descriptor(ASD), which is built based on the angle structures of images. According to the diversity in directions, angle structures are defined in local blocks. Combining color information in HSV color space, we use angle structures to detect images. The internal correlations between neighboring pixels in angle structures are explored to form a feature vector. With angle structures as bridges, ASD extracts image features by integrating multiple information as a whole, such as color, texture, shape and spatial layout information. In addition, the proposed algorithm is efficient for image retrieval without any clustering implementation or model training. Experimental results demonstrate that ASD outperforms the other related algorithms.

文摘This research investigates the aerodynamic performance and flow characteristics of a delta wing with 65° sweep angle and with coarse axial riblets,and then compares with that of a smooth-surface delta wing.Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV)were utilized to visualize the flow over the wing at 6 cross-sections upright to the wing surface and parallel to the wing span,as well as 3 longitudinal sections on the leading edge,symmetry plane,and a plane between them at Angles of Attack(AOA)=20°and 30°and Re=1.2×10~5,2.4×10~5,and 3.6×10~5.The effects of the riblets were studied on the vortices diameter,vortex breakdown location,vortices distance from the wing surface,flow lines pattern nearby the wing,circulation distribution,and separation.The results show that the textured model has a positive effect on some of the parameters related to drag reduction and lift increase.The riblets increase the flow momentum near the wing’s upper surface except near the apex.They also increase the flow momentum behind the wing.

文摘Aiming at the problem that the existence of disturbances on the edges of light-stripe makes the segmentation of the light-stripes images difficult, a new segmentation algorithm based on edge-searching is presented. It firstly calculates every edge pixel's horizontal coordinate grads to produce the corresponding grads-edge, then uses a designed length-variable l D template to scan the light-stripes' grads-edges. The template is able to find the disturbances with different width utilizing the distributing character of the edge disturbances. The found disturbances are eliminated finally. The algorithm not only can smoothly segment the light-stripes images, but also eliminate most disturbances on the light-stripes' edges without damaging the light-stripes images' 3D information. A practical example of using the proposed algorithm is given in the end. It is proved that the efficiency of the algorithm has been improved obviously by comparison.
文摘The quality of coke affects the performance of the blast furnace, factors affecting coke quality include coal properties, coal charge granulometry and carbonization conditions. The coke properties in elude the size analysis, cold strength (Micum Indices-M4(). MI0) and hot strength (Coke Reactivity Index-CRI, Coke Strength after Reaction-CSR) properties and structural properties such as coke structure and texture. Structural properties comprise the porosity, pore-cell wall thickness and pore sizes, while textures consist of the carbon forms in the coke. In present work, advanced method such as image analysis method was used to interpret coke microstructure. Conventional methods such as determination of coke porosity by measurement of real and apparent density and mercury porosimetry have a number of limitations. Coke size, magnification, number of image frames captured, process of pellet preparations and coke properties such as M4(), M|0, CRI and CSR (low, medium and high values) were taken as variables for experimental purposes. The coke structure parameters such as porosity, length, perimeter, breadth, roundness, pore-wall thickness and pore size distribution of the pores were determined by image analysis method. This method provided average porosity in addition to pore-wall thickness and pore-size distribution. The pore wall thickness measuremenl by image analysis method provided significant correlations with M40, CRI and CSR values. This explained the usability of image analysis for coke structure measurement.

文摘Automatic and robust matching of multi-modal images can be challenging owing to the nonlinear intensity differences caused by radiometric variations among these images.To address this problem,a novel dense feature descriptor and improved similarity measure are proposed for enhancing the matching performance.The proposed descriptor is built on a voting scheme of structure tensor that can effectively capture the geometric structural properties of images.It is not only illumination and contrast invariant but also robust against the degradation caused by significant noise.Further,the similarity measure is improved to adapt to the reversal of orientation caused by the intensity inversion between multi-modal images.The proposed dense feature descriptor and improved similarity measure enable the development of a robust and practical templatematching algorithm for multi-modal images.We verify the proposed algorithm with a broad range of multi-modal images including optical,infrared,Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR),digital surface model,and map data.The experimental results confirm its superiority to the state-of-the-art methods.

文摘The pore structure images of ore particles located at different heights of leaching column were scanned with X-ray computerized tomography (CT) scanner, the porosity and pore size distribution were calculated and the geometrical shape and connectivity of pores were analyzed based on image process method, and the three dimensional reconstruction of pore structure images was realized. The results show that the porosity of ore particles bed in leaching column is 42.92%, 41.72%, 39.34% at top, middle and bottom zone, respectively. Obviously it has spatial variability and decreases appreciably along the height of the column. The overall average porosity obtained by image processing is 41.33% while the porosity gotten from general measurement method in laboratory is 42.77% showing the results of both methods are consistent well. The pore structure of ore granular media is characterized as a dynamical space network composed of interconnected pore bodies and pore throats. The ratio of throats with equivalent diameter less than 1.91 mm to the total pores is 29.31%, and that of the large pores with equivalent diameter more than 5.73 mm is 2.90%.

文摘A quantitative analysis of the porosity,pore size distribution,and fractal dimensions of pores is significant for studying the pore structure characteristics of coal.This study utilized 12 anthracite coal samples from the Sihe mining area to explore the pore structure characteristics of the coal therein.Hundred randomly selected points on each sliced coal sample were imaged via scanning electron microscopy,and a total of 1200 images were used for the analysis.The porosity and fractal dimensions of the coal samples were analyzed via digital image processing and box-counting dimension methods.This method is characterized by extensive graphical analysis,and the results are based on statistical methods.These were also used to analyze the structural and development characteristics of the microscopic pores in the coal.The results reveal that the surface porosity obtained via digital image processing was 16.11%lower than that measured experimentally.The fractal dimension and porosity of the pore surface were fitted to a natural logarithmic curve.The rate of change in the pore fractal dimension depends on the porosity such that,to some degree,a greater porosity is associated with more complex pore structures,a higher degree of micropore development,and improved pore connectivity.
文摘We report a high-performance active image sensor pixel design by utilizing amorphous-indium-gallium-zinc-oxide(aIGZO) thin-film transistors(TFTs) with a circular structure. The TFT, configured with the inner electrode as source and outer electrode as drain, typically exhibits good saturation electrical characteristics, where the device has a constant drive current despite variations in drain voltage. Due to the very high output resistance exhibited by this asymmetric TFT structure with a circular shape, the pixel circuit considered here in common-drain configuration provides a higher gain of operation than a pixel circuit implemented with rectangular a-IGZO TFTs. They can be used as driving TFTs in active image sensor circuits. They are, therefore,good candidates for digital X-ray detectors in applications such as medical diagnostic procedures.
