With good features in treating singularities, Haar series solution converges rapidly for arbitrary distributions, especially for the case where the material properties change rapidly in some regions. Through numerical examples the influences of the ratio of material constants on the top and bottom surfaces and different material gradient distributions on the structural response of the plate to mechanical stimuli are studied.展开更多

A 3D rotational failure mechanism was adopted to yield the upper bound of the factor of safety. Parametric studies were carried out to explore the end effects of the slope failures and the effects of the pile location and diameter on the safety of the reinforced slopes. The results demonstrate that the end effects nearly have no effects on the most suitable location of the installed piles but have significant influence on the safety of the slopes. For a slope constrained to a narrow width, the slope becomes more stable owing to the contribution of the end effects. When the slope is reinforced with a row of piles in small space between piles, the effects of group piles are significant for evaluating the safety of slopes. The presented method is more appropriate for assessing the stability of slopes reinforced with piles and can be also utilized in the design of plies stabilizing the unstable slopes.展开更多

Therefore, a conceptual model for a concrete offshore wind turbine structure suitable for weak soils is proposed. The proposed model is composed of a prestressed concrete(PSC) supported by a pile foundation. For a three-dimensional analysis of the large concrete structure, wave pressures based on the diffraction wave theory are developed using a three-dimensional solid finite element method. Static and dynamic analyses were performed to achieve the conceptual model of a PSC structure subjected to ocean environmental loads and a 5-MW turbine load on southwest coast in Korea. From the analysis, the maximum displacement and stresses of the proposed model did not exceed the allowable values from design standard, and the first mode of natural frequency of the structure was in a safe range to avoid resonance. The proposed model has enough structural stability to withstand external loads, and it is expected to be used in locations suitable for concrete gravity structures.展开更多

文摘Background China is seeing a growing demand for rehabilitation treatments for post-stroke upper limb spastic paresis(PSSP-UL).Although acupuncture is known to be effective for PSSP-UL,there is room to enhance its efficacy. Objective This study explored a semi-personalized acupuncture approach for PSSP-UL that used three-dimensional kinematic analysis(3DKA)results to select additional acupoints, and investigated the feasibility, efficacy and safety of this approach.Design, setting, participants and interventions This single-blind,single-center,randomized,controlled trial involved 74 participants who experienced a first-ever ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke with spastic upper limb paresis. The participants were then randomly assigned to the intervention group or the control group in a 1:1 ratio. Both groups received conventional treatments and acupuncture treatment 5 days a week for 4 weeks. The main acupoints in both groups were the same, while participants in the intervention group received additional acupoints selected on the basis of 3DKA results.Follow-up assessments were conducted for 8 weeks after the treatment.Main outcome measures The primary outcome was the Fugl-Meyer Assessment for Upper Extremity(FMA-UE)response rate(≥6-point change)at week 4.Secondary outcomes included changes in motor function(FMA-UE),Brunnstrom recovery stage(BRS),manual muscle test(MMT),spasticity(Modified Ashworth Scale,MAS),and activities of daily life(Modified Barthel Index,MBI)at week 4 and week 12.Results Sixty-four participants completed the trial and underwent analyses.Compared with control group, the intervention group exhibited a significantly higher FMA-UE response rate at week 4(χ^(2)=5.479,P=0.019)and greater improvements in FMA-UE at both week 4 and week 12(both P<0.001).The intervention group also showed bigger improvements from baseline in the MMT grades for shoulder adduction and elbow flexion at weeks 4 and 12 as well as thumb adduction at week 4(P=0.007,P=0.049,P=0.019,P=0.008,P=0.029,respectively).The intervention group showed a better change in the MBI at both week 4 and week 12(P=0.004 and P=0.010,respectively).Although the intervention group had a higher BRS for the hand at week 12(P=0.041),no intergroup differences were observed at week 4(all P>0.05).The two groups showed no differences in MAS grades as well as in BRS for the arm at weeks 4 and 12(all P>0.05).Conclusion Semi-personalized acupuncture prescription based on 3DKA results significantly improved motor function, muscle strength, and activities of daily living in patients with PSSP-UL.
文摘Background:Three-dimensional(3D)printing has revolutionized craniofacial and craniomaxillofacial applications, leading to substantial advancements in patient-specific treatments. In this study,a bibliometric analysis was performed to identify the key contributors, research trends, thematic developments, and collaboration networks in this evolving field. Methods:Two search strategies were employed to ensure a comprehensive analysis:(1)a broad search,in which selected keywords were searched in the title, abstract, and keyword fields to capture all relevant publications,and(2)a title-specific search,in which keywords were restricted to the title field to identify publications with a strong focus on 3D printing in craniofacial and craniomaxillofacial applications. The retrieved dataset was analyzed using VOSviewer and RStudio(bibliometrix package). Results:The broad search retrieved 3534 publications, whereas the title-specific search yielded 280 publications. The analysis of these 280 papers focused on identifying the top authors, universities, and countries,as well as their research dynamics and collaboration networks.A more detailed approach was adopted by examining the titles of these 280 papers.VOSviewer segmented the titles into approximately 800 words, which were then categorized into 18 distinct thematic groups to represent research trends. The focus areas of the ten most cited papers were also analyzed. Conclusion:This bibliometric study provides valuable insights into the progress in 3D printing for craniofacial and craniomaxillofacial applications.By highlighting the key contributors, thematic developments, and collaborative networks, this study offers a foundation for future research in this rapidly advancing field.
文摘The rising of aging and the declining of birth rates have forced the public to focus on the youth’s view on marriage.Based on critical discourse analysis and combined with Fairclough’s three-dimensional discourse analysis model, this paper builds a“Chinese media News Report Corpus on the topic of‘marriage’”whose news are collected from China Daily. It is found that the discourses are neutral and objective with regard to the advantages and disadvantages of marriage, but in general,it is still a traditional view of marriage that is inevitable and closely related to fertility.Although this is controlled by the policies and the social reasons including declining fertility rate,it deviates from the current view of the youth towards marriage, resulting in many serious consequences such as young people’s rejection. In addition, this research found that male and female have great differences in their views on marriage, and men’s resistance to marriage is far greater than that of women, which is departure from the public’s cognition. The reasons behind this need to be explored in order to solve the marriage and love problems of young people in today’s era and realize the healthy development of young marriage.

文摘Gears are pivotal in mechanical drives, and gear contact analysis is a typically difficult problem to solve.Emerging isogeometric analysis(IGA)methods have developed new ideas to solve this problem. In this paper,a threedimensional body parametric gear model of IGA is established, and a theoretical formula is derived to realize single-tooth contact analysis. Results were benchmarked against those obtained from commercial software utilizing the finite element analysis(FEA)method to validate the accuracy of our approach. Our findings indicate that the IGA-based contact algorithmsuccessfullymet theHertz contact test. When juxtaposed with the FEA approach, the IGAmethod demonstrated fewer node degrees of freedomand reduced computational units, all whilemaintaining comparable accuracy.Notably, the IGA method appeared to exhibit consistency in analysis accuracy irrespective of computational unit density, and also significantlymitigated non-physical oscillations in contact stress across the tooth width. This underscores the prowess of IGA in contact analysis. In conclusion,IGA emerges as a potent tool for addressing contact analysis challenges and holds significant promise for 3D gear modeling, simulation, and optimization of various mechanical components.
