Thermal conductivity is an important material parameter of silicon when studying the performance and reliability of devices or for guiding circuit design when considering heat dissipation, especially when the self-heating effect becomes prominent in ultra-scaled MOSFETs.The cross-plane thermal conductivity of a thin silicon film is lacking due to the difficulty in sensing high thermal conductivity in the vertical direction.In this paper, a feasible method that utilizes an ultra-fast electrical pulse within 20 μs combined with the hot strip technique is adopted.To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work that shows how to extract the cross-plane thermal conductivity of sub-50 nm(30 nm, 17 nm, and 10 nm)silicon films on buried oxide.The ratio of the extracted cross-plane thermal conductivity of the silicon films over the bulk value is only about 6.9%, 4.3%, and 3.8% at 300 K, respectively.As the thickness of the films is smaller than the phonon mean free path, the classical heat transport theory fails to predict the heat dissipation in nanoscale transistors.Thus, in this study, a ballistic model, derived from the heat transport equation based on extended-irreversible-hydrodynamics(EIT), is used for further investigation, and the simulation results exhibit good consistence with the experimental data.The extracted effective thermal data could provide a good reference for precise device simulations and thermoelectric applications. 展开更多

This paper uses finite element method to obtain the three-dimensional temperature field of laser-induced transient thermal grating (TTG) for two-layered structure of diamond film on ZnSe substrate. The numerical results indicate that unique two-times heating process is gradually experienced in the area between two adjacent grating stripes. However, there is a little change for the temperature field along the depth direction for the diamond film due to its great thermal conductivity. It further finds that the thickness of the diamond film has a significant influence on the temperature field in diamond/ZnSe system. The results are useful for the application of laser-induced TTG technique in film/substrate system. 展开更多

The terahertz wave used in this paper has a Gaussian beam profile. Based on the transient heat conduction equation, the finite element method (FEM) is utilized to calculate the temperature distribution. The simulation results show the dynamic process of temperature change in water during terahertz irradiation. After about 300 s, the temperature reaches a steady state with a water layer thickness of 5 mm and a beam radius of 0.25 mm. The highest temperature increase is 7 K/mW approximately. This work motivates further study on the interaction between terahertz wave and bio-tissue, which has a high water content. 展开更多

The accurate analyses for a plate fin heat sink with the ability to control the temperature of the avionics devices within a pre-set controllable temperature range are required both in the process of circuit design and for the real-time temperature monitoring purposes. In order to provide an insight into the behavior of the temperature of a plate fin heat sink subjected non-uniform heat density on the surfaces, it is necessary to obtain accurate analytical solutions yielding explicit formulas relating the dissipated power to the temperature rise at any point of avionics devices. This paper presents a method for thermal simulation of a plate fin heat sink using an analytical solution of the three-dimensional heat equation resulting from an appropriate plate fin heat sink transient thermal model. The entire solution methodology is illustrated in detail on the particular examples of the plate fin heat sink subjected non-uniform heat density on the surfaces. The transient temperature profiles are obtained for different positions at the surface of the plate fin heat sink. The analytical results are compared with measurements made on the surface of the cold plate and it is found that they are in good agreement with an error of less than 3 K. 展开更多

为考察加热卷烟纸导热性能,使用瞬态平面热源法进行卷烟纸导热系数检测,开展实验室内方法学验证,研究卷烟纸常规物理指标、压光处理、碳酸钙添加量、原料纤维类型、防渗透处理、温度对于卷烟纸导热能力的影响。结果表明,基于瞬态平面热... 为考察加热卷烟纸导热性能,使用瞬态平面热源法进行卷烟纸导热系数检测,开展实验室内方法学验证,研究卷烟纸常规物理指标、压光处理、碳酸钙添加量、原料纤维类型、防渗透处理、温度对于卷烟纸导热能力的影响。结果表明,基于瞬态平面热源法检测卷烟纸导热系数的日内精密度、日间精密度均低于4%;卷烟纸导热系数与紧度呈正相关、与透气度呈负相关;经压光处理的卷烟纸纤维接触更加紧密、间隙更小,厚度、透气度减小而紧度增大,导热能力显著增强;碳酸钙添加量越大,卷烟纸厚度、透气度增大且紧度减小,但导热能力增强;麻浆和木浆等不同纤维原料的卷烟纸导热系数存在一定差异;防渗透处理的卷烟纸(改性淀粉涂布量0~0.17%)导热系数无明显差异;22~250℃区间内,卷烟纸导热能力随温度的升高而增强。 展开更多

天然气管网瞬态运行水力热力解耦仿真模型

【目的】天然气管网瞬态运行仿真技术对管道供气调峰、经济安全运行及异常工况诊断至关重要。目前制约天然气管网瞬态运行仿真技术的难点在于时空变量非线性耦合规律复杂,亟需提高仿真过程计算效率。【方法】建立天然气管网水力热力解... 【目的】天然气管网瞬态运行仿真技术对管道供气调峰、经济安全运行及异常工况诊断至关重要。目前制约天然气管网瞬态运行仿真技术的难点在于时空变量非线性耦合规律复杂,亟需提高仿真过程计算效率。【方法】建立天然气管网水力热力解耦瞬态运行仿真模型:首先依据管流控制方程中水力、热力变量之间的耦合关系,分别构建水力仿真子模型与热力仿真子模型;采用时间递推法对整个瞬态时间域仿真,针对任意时步,将该时步初始时刻管网温度分布作为待求解时刻温度仿真计算的迭代初值,通过求解水力子模型得到管网压力、密度及质量流量分布,然后将其作为热力子模型的已知条件,通过热力子模型计算管网的温度与焓分布;以迭代前后的温度分布偏差是否满足精度要求作为是否跳出当前时步求解的判据,若满足要求,则当前时步仿真完成,否则以热力子模型计算出的温度分布作为水力子模型的已知条件,重复以上过程;最后通过时间递推,逐步完成后续所有时步的求解,得到整个时空域的水力热力运行参数演变规律。【结果】结合算例,综合分析时空网格步长划分对计算速度与精度的影响,针对2.5 km、5.0 km及10.0 km这3种空间步长,分别选取30 s与60 s作为时间步长,结果表明5.0 km-30 s的组合可兼顾解耦模型的计算精度与效率;时空步长一定时,以耦合模型仿真结果为基准,解耦模型求解出压力与温度的最大绝对偏差为0.003 MPa与0.1 K,计算时间缩短42%,表明该水力热力解耦模型具有高效性;该解耦模型在多组边界条件下均表现出较好的适应性。【结论】天然气管网瞬态运行水力热力解耦仿真模型可以大幅度提高天然气管网动态仿真的计算效率,对于天然气管网瞬态运行仿真技术与智能管网调控机制探索具有重要的理论借鉴与技术支撑。 展开更多

Nowadays, mainly water/glycol-based cooling media are used to cool PE. Due to their high electrical conductivity (EC), water/glycol-based coolants cannot be used for direct cooling of the electrical components. Direct cooling concepts with dedicated transmission fluids show potential usage of fluid in direct contact with electrified parts. This results in special requirements for the fluids and materials. The aimed action as a coolant requires a defined measurement and characterization of fluid properties and heat transfer in order to assess the cooling ability of a fluid. The purpose of the work was to develop a new measurement setup based on the thermal transient method with which the thermal requirements of cooling fluids for a direct cooling concept can be assessed. With this method, relevant transmission fluids have been tested and the thermal performance compared to indirect cooling effect of water/glycol is discussed. The result of the work is that the measurement method is very well suited for the application-related evaluation of the fluids. Direct oil cooling with transmission fluids could increase heat transfer coefficient by a factor of 3 to 8, compared to the indirect cooing with water/glycol as cooling media. 展开更多

现代专用车辆机电液系统的快速、精准与高可靠热设计,对于保障专用车辆系统可靠性至关重要。本文提出了一种面向现代专用车辆机电液系统的暂态温度场快速计算方法。该方法结合有限元暂态热计算与集总参数热网络理论,通过建立系统的暂态... 现代专用车辆机电液系统的快速、精准与高可靠热设计,对于保障专用车辆系统可靠性至关重要。本文提出了一种面向现代专用车辆机电液系统的暂态温度场快速计算方法。该方法结合有限元暂态热计算与集总参数热网络理论,通过建立系统的暂态集总参数热网络模型,在显著缩短计算时长的基础上保障了温度预测的准确性。首先,通过损耗分析,确定了机电液系统的热源空间分布,基于热阻网络以及有限元理论,构建了机电液系统的暂态温度计算模型。接下来,为验证该模型的准确性和适用性,搭建了机电液系统本体、驱动与控制以及温度测试系统等组成的样机实验平台。最后开展了样机温度测试实验,基于有限元仿真与实验结果,验证了机电液系统暂态集总参数热网络模型的有效性和准确性。实验结果表明,本文中提出的热网络模型与传统有限元计算方法相比,能够保持良好准确性的同时降低80%计算时间,实现了系统暂态温度快速准确预测。此外,本文中提出的暂态集总参数热网络计算方法可以为其他机电液系统的温升预测提供理论参考和依据。 展开更多

本研究提出一种精确测量纸张面内导热系数的新方法,即结合瞬态平面热源法与稳态热阻法。首先利用瞬态法测得叠层纸张的导热系数,然后通过稳态法确定纸张叠层之间的层间热阻,进而推算出单层纸张的面内导热系数。以芳纶纸为典型研究对象,... 本研究提出一种精确测量纸张面内导热系数的新方法,即结合瞬态平面热源法与稳态热阻法。首先利用瞬态法测得叠层纸张的导热系数,然后通过稳态法确定纸张叠层之间的层间热阻,进而推算出单层纸张的面内导热系数。以芳纶纸为典型研究对象,通过实验优化提出了具体的测试条件:纸张叠层厚度宜控制在3 mm以上(约50层),可有效防止测试过程中瞬态热流逸散;施加压力应不超过0.12 MPa,以减少对纸张结构的改变,确保测试结果的稳定性与可靠性。在此条件下,所测得的芳纶纸面内导热系数为0.41 W/(m·K)。此外,该改进方法在测试含纳米氮化硼填料的芳纶复合纸时,同样表现出高适用性,体现了良好的应用前景和推广价值。 展开更多

针对油浸式电力变压器瞬态温升计算效率过低的问题,该文提出本征正交分解-αATS(proper orthogonal decomposition-adaptive time stepping based onαfactor,POD-αATS)降阶自适应变步长瞬态计算方法。首先,推导变压器绕组瞬态温升计... 针对油浸式电力变压器瞬态温升计算效率过低的问题,该文提出本征正交分解-αATS(proper orthogonal decomposition-adaptive time stepping based onαfactor,POD-αATS)降阶自适应变步长瞬态计算方法。首先,推导变压器绕组瞬态温升计算的有限元离散方程;其次,采用POD降阶算法改善传统瞬态计算中存在的条件数过大及方程阶数过高的问题;同时对于瞬态计算中的时间步长选择问题,提出适用于非线性问题的αATS变步长策略;然后,为验证方法的有效性,基于110 kV油浸式电力变压器绕组的基本结构建立二维八分区数值计算模型,同时将计算结果与基于110 kV绕组的温升实验结果进行对比。数值计算及实验结果表明,所提算法与全阶定步长算法在流场和温度场中的精度几乎相同,且流场计算效率提升约45倍,温度场计算效率提升约38倍,计算速度得到显著提高。这一点在温升实验中同样得到验证,说明该文所提算法的准确性、高效性及一定的工程实用性。 展开更多

Thermal and Mechanical Characterization of Compressed Clay Bricks Reinforced by Rice Husks for Optimizing Building in Sahelian Zone

These materials are bricks of earth compressed and stabilized with rice husks. Thermal conductivity, the specific heat and the thermal diffusivity of materials based on clay incorporating rate of 0, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% are determined. The results showed that the clay blocks + rice balls had better thermal insulators than simple clay blocks. However, these composite materials used for the envelope of the building must have sufficient mechanical resistance when used in construction. The measurement of mechanical properties such as compressive strength showed an improvement of 6% and beyond, a drop in resistance when increasing rice husks in clay is observed. These results allow to specify the optimal conditions of use of these materials for the building envelope. 展开更多

针对传统算法存在的步长调整及耦合点选择问题,该文提出基于子循环自适应串行交错(SCAS)的时间匹配算法。首先,在步长调整方面,通过加入自适应(ATS)-启发式(HTS)混合变步长算法,解决步长无法实时调整的问题;然后,针对耦合点选择问题,该... 针对传统算法存在的步长调整及耦合点选择问题,该文提出基于子循环自适应串行交错(SCAS)的时间匹配算法。首先,在步长调整方面,通过加入自适应(ATS)-启发式(HTS)混合变步长算法,解决步长无法实时调整的问题;然后,针对耦合点选择问题,该文在传统常规串行交错(CSS)时间匹配算法及现有改进方案子循环常规串行交错(SCSS)的基础上,提出SCAS时间匹配算法,采用自适应方案确定计算时间窗及预定耦合点,并引入指数平滑法对其精度进行保证;最后,该文基于110 kV油浸式电力变压器建立二维瞬态单分区分匝绕组模型,并将所提算法与其他传统方法进行对比分析。结果表明:在精度方面,与传统CSS算法相比SCAS算法的流场及温度场最大平均相对误差均不超过0.45%,在可接受误差范围内;在效率方面,SCAS算法总体计算效率较CSS算法提高了近20倍。同时,为了说明所提算法的工程价值,该文搭建基于110 kV变压器绕组模型的温升实验平台,将SCAS时间匹配算法应用于该模型中,实验结果表明:在精度方面,SCAS算法与实验达到稳态时最大绝对误差为2.7 K;在计算效率上,本文所提算法的计算效率较传统算法提升约46倍,计算步数约为传统的1/47,减少了计算冗余。 展开更多
