An improved model predictive control algorithm is proposed for Hammerstein-Wiener nonlinear systems.The proposed synthesis algorithm contains two parts:offline design the polytopic invariant sets,and online solve the min-max optimization problem.The polytopic invariant set is adopted to replace the traditional ellipsoid invariant set.And the parameter-correlation nonlinear control law is designed to replace the traditional linear control law.Consequently,the terminal region is enlarged and the control effect is improved.Simulation and experiment are used to verify the validity of the wind tunnel flow field control algorithm. 展开更多

This paper deals with the communication problem in the distributed system, considering the limited battery power in the wireless network and redundant transmission among nodes. We design an event-triggered model predictive control(ET-MPC) strategy to reduce the unnecessary communication while promising the system performance. On one hand, for a linear discrete time-invariant system, a triggering condition is derived based on the Lyapunov stability. Here, in order to further reduce the communication rate, we enforce a triggering condition only when the Lyapunov function will exceed its value at the last triggered time, but an average decrease is guaranteed. On the other hand, the feasibility is ensured by minimizing and optimizing the terminal constrained set between the maximal control invariant set and the target terminal set. Finally, we provide a simulation to verify the theoretical results. It's shown that the proposed strategy achieves a good trade-off between the closed-loop system performance and communication rate. 展开更多

A good electrode control algorithm will reduce energy consumption effectively and shorten smelting time greatly. The offline design online synthesis model predictive control algorithm is proposed for electrode regulator system with input and output constraints. On the offline computation, the continuum of terminal constraint sets will be constructed. On the online synthesis, the time-varying terminal constraint sets will be adopted and at least one free control variable will be introduced to solve the min-max optimization control problem. Then Lyapunov method will be adopted to analyze closed-loop system stability. Simulation and field trial results show that the proposed offline design online synthesis model predictive control method is effective. 展开更多

Let A be a ring.In this paper we generalize some results introduced by Aliabad and Mohamadian.We give a relation bet ween the z-ideals of A and t hose of the formal power series rings in an infinite set of indetermiiiates over A.Consider A[[Xa]]3 and its subrings A[[X_(A)]]_(1),A[[X_(A)]]_(2),and A[[X_(A)]]_(α),where a is an infinite cardinal number.In fact,a z-ideal of the rings defined above is of the form I+(X_(A))i,where i=1,2,3 or an infinite cardinal number and I is a z-ideal of A.In addition,we prove that the same condition given by Aliabad and Mohamadian can be used to get a relation between the minimal prime ideals of the ring of the formal power series in an infinite set of indeterminates and those of the ring of coefficients.As a natural result,we get a relation between the z°-ideals of the formal power series ring in an infinite set of indeterminates and those of the ring of coefficients. 展开更多
