[ Method Four common species of white-rot fungi were cultivated by wood meal fowl dung mixture in test tube and culture dishes. The relationship between physical properties of culture material and the growth of these mycelials were studied. [Result] The results showed the water retention capacity of culture material was decreased with the increasing of its grain size and porosity, but the decrease of its specific gravity reduced the material water retention. And the dehydration rate of medium prepared with these materials at the same moisture conditions tended to increase. These physical properties of material, such as grain size, specific gravity, porosity, water retention and water drainage, influenced the growth of white-rot fungi mycelial by affecting the moisture and ventilation condition of media. The results hinted that above material physical properties had feedback effects on the growth of white-rot fungi mycelia. [ Conclution] Physical properties of culture material have significant effects on the growth of white-rot fungi mycelial.展开更多

The emergence and propagation of the crack, and the fracture behavior in materials have been observed and studied. It is found that in the case of the tensile test, the crack emerged in SiC fiber initially. In the case of the strong cohesion of the fiber-metal interface, the crack propagated in the fiber, meanwhile the fibers in the neighborhood of the cracked fiber began to crack and the Mg-Al metal deformed plastically, and at last the material fractured. Otherwise the toughness of the materials grows in the case of the lower cohesion of the fiber-metal matrix interface.展开更多

The gangue was calcined at 500℃. The main constituent was calcined gangue, fly ash and slag, while alkali-silicate solutions were used as the diagenetic agent. The structure of gangue-containing aluminosilicate based cementitious materials was studied by the methods of IR, NMR and SEM. The results show that the mechanical properties are affected by the mass ratio between the gangue, slag and fly ash, the kind of activator and additional salt. For 28-day curing time, the compressive strength of the sample with a mass proportion of 2:1:1 (gangue: slag: fly ash) is 58.9 MPa, while the compressive strength of the sample containing 80wt% gangue can still be up to 52.3 MPa. The larger K^+ favors the formation of large silicate oligomers with which AI(OH)4- prefers to bind. Therefore, in Na-K compounding activator solutions more oligomers exist which result in a stronger compressive strength of aluminosilicate-based cementitious materials than in the case of Na-containing activator. The reasons for this were found through IR and NMR analysis. Glauber's salt reduces the 3-day compressive strength of the paste, but increases its 7-day and 28-day compressive strengths.展开更多

Their common features are the potential hazard associated with their radioactivity and the need to manage them in such a way as to protect the human environment. The geological disposal is regarded as the most reasonable and effective way to safely disposing high-level radioactive wastes in the world. The conceptual model of geological disposal in China is based on a multi-barrier system that combines an isolating geological environment with an engineered barrier system. The buffer is one of the main engineered barriers for HLW repository. It is expected to maintain its low water permeability, self-sealing property, radio nuclides adsorption and retardation properties, thermal conductivity, chemical buffering property, canister supporting property, and stress buffering property over a long period of time. Bentonite is selected as the main content of buffer material that can satisfy the above requirements. The Gaomiaozi deposit is selected as the candidate supplier for China's buffer material of high level radioactive waste repository. This paper presents the geological features of the GMZ deposit and basic properties of the GMZ Na-bentonite. It is a super-large deposit with a high content of montmorillonite (about 75 %), and GMZ-1, which is Na-bentonite produced from GMZ deposit is selected as the reference material for China's buffer material study.展开更多

文摘Soil cement bentonite(SCB)is a common material for constructing vertical cutoff walls to prevent groundwater migration at contaminated industrial sites. However, site contaminants can degrade the durability of the cutoff wall.To enhance its performance, this study developed a silica fume-SCB(SSCB).The macroscopic and microscopic properties of SSCB were assessed by unconfined compressive strength test, variable head permeability test,X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy. The correlation between its multi-scale properties was analyzed based on pore characteristics. The results indicate that increasing the silica fume substitution ratio improved SSCB strength, especially in the middle and late curing stages. Moreover, increasing the substitution ratio decreased SSCB permeability coefficient, with a more pronounced effect in earlier curing stages.Silica fume addition also refined SSCB pore structure and reduced its porosity. The fractal dimension was used to quantify SSCB pore structure complexity.Increasing silica fume content reduced small pore fractal dimension in SSCB.Concurrently,SSCB strength increased and SSCB permeability coefficient decreased. The findings of this research will demonstrate the great potential of SSCB backfill for practical applications.

文摘Legendre polynomial method is well-known in modeling acoustic wave characteristics. This method uses for the mechanical displacements a single polynomial expansion over the entire sandwich layers. This results in a limitation in the accuracy of the field profile restitution. Thus,it can deal with the guided waves in layered sandwich only when the material properties of adjacent layers do not change significantly.Despite the great efforts regarding this issue in the literature, there remain open questions. One of them is:“what is the exact threshold of contrasting material properties of adjacent layers for which this polynomial method cannot correctly restitute the roots of guided waves?”We investigated this numerical issue using the calculated guided phase velocities in 0°/φ/0°-carbon fibre reinforced plastics(CFRP)sandwich plates with gradually increasing angleφ.Then,we approached this numerical problem by varying the middle layer thickness h90°for the 0°/90°/0°-CFRP sandwich structure, and we proposed an exact thickness threshold of the middle layer for the Legendre polynomial method limitations. We showed that the polynomial method fails to calculate the quasi-symmetric Lamb mode in 0°/φ/0°-CFRP whenφ>25°.Moreover,we introduced a new Lamb mode so-called minimum-group-velocity that has never been addressed in literature.

文摘To explore high value-added utilization pathways of fly ash,the mesoporous structure of silicon dioxide extracted from fly ash(FA-SiO_(2))was utilized to restrict the dicyandiamide(DCDA)thermal degradation process. This produced chemically bonded interacting composite photocatalysts of FA-SiO,and graphitic-phase carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)).Compared with the spherical silicon dioxide prepared using tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS-SiO_(2)),the mesoporous structure of FA-SiO_(2),allowed DCDA to react in a smaller space, which facilitated the transformation of DCDA to melamine by the thermal degradation kinetics of FA-C_(3)N_(4)/DCDA.This ultimately boosted the formation of an N-atom-removed triazine ring structure and a multistage structure combining lumps and rods in the composite photocatalysts of g-C_(3)N_(4),and FA-SiO_(2),which led to a higher visible-light utilization efficiency,a suitable valence-band position, and the photocatalytic activity for methylene blue reaching 3.56 times that of g-C_(3)N_(4).The findings indicate that mesoporous FA-SiO,has the potential to improve the structural and photocatalytic properties of g-C_(3)N_(4),-based materials.

文摘The high-temperature conditions of deep oil and gas reservoirs notably affect the porosity and permeability of rocks. In situ temperature-preserved coring(ITP-Coring)technology is crucial for accurately assessing rock properties in deep reservoirs.High-performance thermal insulation materials are crucial for supporting ITP-Coring during deep oil and gas exploration. This study explores the impact of high-temperature and high-pressure(HTHP)conditions on hollow glass microsphere/epoxy(HGM/EP)thermal insulation materials, focusing on the interphase.Investigations of HGM/EP materials with varying hollow glass microsphere(HGM)strengths and volume fractions reveal that elevated temperatures cause the molecular chains of the epoxy resin matrix to relax, leading to matrix softening and a decline in mechanical properties.Additionally,high-pressure water infiltrates the material, damaging the interphase and HGMs,further compromising material performance. The combined HTHP environment accelerates this degradation.Dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA)shows that S60HS HGMs,which possess higher strength, interact more strongly with the matrix and exhibit higher entanglement density, resulting in superior interphase adhesion. This enhances stress transfer efficiency and reduces the loss of storage modulus at the interphase.Theoretical analysis indicates that the interphase thickness and modulus of S-f40 remain mostly unaffected after HTHP treatment, with values higher than the epoxy matrix. This correlates with DMA results, demonstrating that S-f40 has the smallest adhesion factor(A),indicating the highest interfacial stress transfer efficiency.S-f40 also exhibits optimal thermal conductivity and mechanical properties, making it ideal for ITP-Coring in deep reservoirs. These findings provide insights for optimizing materials in HTHP environments for deep reservoir exploration.

文摘[ Objective] The research aimed to study effects of material physical properties on white-rot fungi mycelial growth and provide theoretical basis for further expanding the application range of white-rot fungi. [ Conclution] Physical properties of culture material have significant effects on the growth of white-rot fungi mycelial.
文摘The mechanical properties of the SiC fiber-reinforced Mg-Al metal matrix composite materials have been studied on internal microstructure by (scanning electron microscopy) SEM in-situ tensile test. Otherwise the toughness of the materials grows in the case of the lower cohesion of the fiber-metal matrix interface.

文摘Classical computation of electronic properties in large-scale materials remains challenging.Quantum computation has the potential to offer advantages in memory footprint and computational scaling. However, general and viable quantum algorithms for simulating large-scale materials are still limited. We propose and implement random-state quantum algorithms to calculate electronic-structure properties of real materials.Using a random state circuit on a small number of qubits,we employ real-time evolution with first-order Trotter decomposition and Hadamard test to obtain electronic density of states, and we develop a modified quantum phase estimation algorithm to calculate real-space local density of states via direct quantum measurements.Furthermore,we validate these algorithms by numerically computing the density of states and spatial distributions of electronic states in graphene, twisted bilayer graphene quasicrystals, and fractal lattices, covering system sizes from hundreds to thousands of atoms. Our results manifest that the random-state quantum algorithms provide a general and qubit-efficient route to scalable simulations of electronic properties in large-scale periodic and aperiodic materials.

文摘Microwave irradiation was used to reduce the curing time of carbon fiber/epoxy resin composite material. The properties of carbon fiber/epoxy resin composite material under microwave curing were investigated by thermogravimetry(TG),dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA),impact strength test and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results show that composite materials patch have high thermal stability after microwave curing. The initial degradation temperature is 330.9℃,the maximum thermal decomposition rate is at 368.1℃.When the layer of composite materials patchis 4 layers, the dynamic mechanical properties are the best after microwave curing. The initial storage modulus is 43.2 GPa,increased 28.3 GPa and 27.1 GPa than 3 layers and 5 layers, the glass transition temperature(Tg)is 67.48℃,increased about 12 ℃than 3 layers and 5 layers.Microwave curing can significantly improve the infiltration capacity of epoxy resin, enhance interfacial bonding, and increase the impact strength of composite patch.Under microwave curing, the impact strength of 3,4,5-layers composite material patches increases 35.9%,6.4% and 15.1%,respectively than heating curing. The SEM analysis of impact fracture surface shows that microwave curing can improve the interface of carbon fiber and epoxy resin.

文摘High performance aluminosilicate based cementitious materials were produced using calcined gangue as one of the major raw materials. Glauber's salt reduces the 3-day compressive strength of the paste, but increases its 7-day and 28-day compressive strengths.
文摘Radioactive wastes arising from a wide range of human activities are in many different physical and chemical forms, contaminated with varying radioactivity. It is a super-large deposit with a high content of montmorillonite (about 75 %), and GMZ-1, which is Na-bentonite produced from GMZ deposit is selected as the reference material for China's buffer material study.
