On the basis of the taxon cladogram, the procedure could identify and eliminate the paralogy node and determine the informative subtree. The area relationships are generally illustrated in several subtrees and the consensus tree. The distribution pattern of the genus Caragana comprising about 72 species and occurring in 13 areas, was analyzed by using subtree method and TASS procedure in this study. The results showed seven subtrees representing the area relationships of section and series of the genus, and the consensus tree provided the 13 area relationships. These results are congruent with our former result using component analysis for Caragana.展开更多

After determining quantification of DNA sample by microclorimetric spectrophotography, Arabidopsis-type telomere primer and Sau3AⅠ cassette primer were used to isolate telomere-associated sequences from G. biloba L. by the method of cassette-ligation-mediated polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Using this method, two telomere-associated sequences, TAS1 and TAS2, were isolated. The authors preformed Southern hybridization of EcoRⅠ-treated G. biloba genomic DNA with each clone. The hybridization pattern showed that the clones obtained were derived from G. biloba genomic DNA. There are the Arabidopsis-type TTTAGGG tandem repeats in telomeres of G. biloba.展开更多

The SMART （System-integrated Modular Advanced ReacTor） which is a 330 MWt advanced integral PWR was developed by the KAERI （Korea Atomic Energy Institute） for electricity generation and seawater desalination. To e...The SMART （System-integrated Modular Advanced ReacTor） which is a 330 MWt advanced integral PWR was developed by the KAERI （Korea Atomic Energy Institute） for electricity generation and seawater desalination. To enhance its safety, the various design concepts were adopted such as the most containing of the RCS （reactor coolant system） components and a PRHRS （passive residual heat removal system）. To ensure the safety and performance of the SMART, a thermal hydraulic evaluation and safety analysis are performed by the TASS/SMR-S code. It uses a one dimensional node/path modeling and point kinetics for the core power simulation. The code also has specific models reflecting the design features of the SMART such as a helical tube and PRHRS heat transfer models. In this study, the validation of the core heat transfer model in the TASS/SMR-S code on the steady conditions was performed with the Bennett＇s heated tube tests and THTF （thermal hydraulic test facility） experiment. From the results of the TASS/SMR-S code calculation, the CHF （critical heat flux） point and the fuel rod surface temperature were predicted conservatively compared to the test results.展开更多
This paper studies how to determine task allocation schemes according to the status and require-ments of various teams, to achieve optimal performance for a knowledge-intensive team （KIT）, whichis different from tra...This paper studies how to determine task allocation schemes according to the status and require-ments of various teams, to achieve optimal performance for a knowledge-intensive team （KIT）, whichis different from traditional task assignment. The way to allocate tasks to a team affects task processingand, in turn, influences the team itself after the task is processed. Considering the knowledge require-ment of tasks as a driving force and that knowledge exchange is pivotal, we build a KIT system modelbased on complex adaptive system theory and agent modeling technology, design task allocation strat-egies （TASs） and a team performance measurement scale utilizing computational experiment, and an-alyze how different TASs impact the different performance indicators of KITs. The experimental re-sults show the recommend TAS varies under different conditions, such as the knowledge levels ofmembers, team structures, and tasks to be assigned, particularly when the requirements to the team aredifferent. In conclusion, we put forward a new way of thinking and methodology for real task alloca-tion problems and provide support for allocation decision makers.展开更多
