The Relation between the Preferred Chewing Side and Occlusal Force Measured by T-Scan III System

Occlusal force has the main role in determining the teeth health in general and determining the chewing, muscle and TMJ function. The objective of this study was to find if there was any relation between the preferred chewing side and the force, measured by T-scan III system. The total number of 90 (46 female and 44 male) dental students was included in this study. They were asked whether their preferred chewing side was right, left or both. Afterwards, the occlusal forces in habitual occlusion, using T-Scan III Electronic device (IP-CO position mode, MA-mode, MA sensitivity setting) were measured. The data were presented as Mean ± SD. Spearman correlation was used to find the correlation between the occlusal force and chewing side. Differences in P 0.05) and the right side (r = 0.143, P > 0.05) according to the preferred chewing side. In this study, the relation between the preferred chewing side and occlusal force was found. 展开更多

Type III acute acquired comitant esotropia(AACE)is a special type of binocular coordination disorder with sudden onset characteristics,but its pathogenesis and treatment strategies remain unclear.This article analyzes the incidence and classification characteristics of Type III AACE,and explores its pathogenesis from multiple perspectives including clinical medicine,neuroscience,and neuro-ophthalmology.It is found that this disease is associated with factors such as decompensation of phoria,dysfunction of the visual center,abnormalities in the physiological and anatomical structure of extraocular muscles,accommodative factors,and disorders of convergence and divergence.The prognosis of Type III AACE is excellent with treatments such as botulinum toxin injection and surgery,and adjunctive therapies like prism adaptation test and visual function training can enhance the management effect.This article provides an in-depth analysis of the pathogenesis and cutting-edge treatment techniques for patients with Type III AACE,which can offer guidance for the subsequent diagnosis and treatment of such patients. 展开更多

Based upon the thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid(H_(2)Tdc),a novel[Sc_(3)(μ_(2)-OH)_(3)(CO_(2))_(4)O_(6)]n inorganic chain-based Sc-MOF with decorated nitrate ions,{[Sc_(3)(OH)_(2)(Tdc)_(3)(NO_(3))]⋅H_(2)O}_(∞)(AEU-1;AEU for Army Engineering University of PLA),was synthesized,which shows good water and chemical stabilities.Significantly,due to channel constriction accompanied by the polar window caused by introducing nitrate ions,AEU-1 exhibits high C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4)adsorption selectivity comparable to many famous C_(2)H_(6)-selective MOFs,making it a promising candidate for the purification of methanol-to-olefin(MTO)products.Furthermore,theoretical investigations reveal that the introduced nitrate ions in AEU-1 as the main adsorption sites could provide strong interactions between the framework and C2H6/C3H6 in the full-contacting mode,leading to an increase in the adsorption enthalpies(Qst)of C_(2)H_(6)and C_(3)H_(6),and thus further improving the C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4)and C_(3)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4)adsorption selectivity.Our work could open up a new avenue for constructing MOFs with inorganic polar moieties as adsorption sites for one-step C_(2)H_(4)purification and C3H6 recovery from MTO mixtures with high selectivity. 展开更多

Collagen III combined with autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells accelerates burn wound healing in a rat model

BACKGROUND Skin is the largest organ in the human body and plays crucial roles in human health.Efficient and rapid healing of burn wounds is of great significance.While stem cell therapies have offered potential methods to treat burn wounds,relatively few have had success in clinical practice.AIM To investigate the effect of the combined application of collagen III and adiposederived stem cells(ASCs)on vascular regeneration in skin wound healing.METHODS Burn wounds were created in 18 adult male Sprague-Dawley rats,and they were randomly divided into two groups.In the treatment group,each rat was injected with 4×10^(6) Zs-Green-labeled autologous ASCs suspended in collagen III.In the control group,each rat was injected with collagen III.Each rat received six injections.Images of the wounds were acquired every 3 days.RESULTS Multiple injections of autologous ASCs improved wound closure rate more efficiently compared to the control group.Moreover,autologous ASCs do not survive long-term during the skin wound healing process.CONCLUSION This study demonstrated that multiple injections of autologous ASCs combined with collagen III accelerated burn wound healing by increasing collagen deposition and improving angiogenesis. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Correcting skeletal class III malocclusion with anterior crossbite in adolescents using only orthodontic treatment poses challenges.This report highlights a novel approach leveraging improved superelastic Ni-Ti alloy wire(ISW)to address these conditions effectively.CASE SUMMARY A 17-year-old male patient presented with the chief complaint of an underbite.The patient was given a diagnosis of skeletal class III malocclusion and anterior crossbite.The orthodontic treatment plan was implemented and did not require teeth extractions or orthognathic surgery.Key interventions involved the app-lication of ISW,intermaxillary elastics,and ISW unilateral multi-bend edgewise archwire.The unique combination of these techniques enabled the correction without the need for extractions or surgery.This approach leverages the advanced biomechanical properties of ISW,including its super-elasticity and shape memory,to enhance treatment efficacy.The treatment lasted 17 months,and major improvements in overjet,overbite,and alignment were achieved.The results were favorable,and stability was discovered during follow-up.CONCLUSION The application of ISW for treating skeletal class III malocclusion with anterior crossbite in a 17-year-old male patient resulted in exceptional outcomes.The treatment led to a marked improvement in the patient’s facial profile and to proper overjet,overbite,and midline alignment.These results were maintained over a one-year follow-up,indicating that a minimally invasive orthodontic approach can effectively address complex skeletal discrepancies in adolescent patients.This case illustrates that with the careful use of advanced orthodontic techniques,major skeletal challenges can be resolved without resorting to surgical procedures. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Orthodontic treatment for open bite and crossbite cases is always challenging.In this paper,we demonstrate a skeletal class III patient with anterior open bite and crossbite whose problem was successfully corrected with improved super-elastic Ti-Ni alloy wire(ISW).CASE SUMMARY A 19 years old male came to our clinic with a chief complaint of anterior open bite and crossbite and not able to chew food well.Clinical examination revealed an angle class III malocclusion with anterior open bite,crossbite and spaced arch.Ra-diographic and clinical examination showed a skeletal class III pattern.We used ISW to level the upper and lower arch and to correct the anterior open bite and crossbite.Intermaxillary elastics were also used to achieve a better interdigitation.Finally,adequate overbite,overjet and a desirable occlusion were achieved.The active treatment time took 2 years and 2 months.CONCLUSION In a case of class III angular malocclusion with open bite and crossbite in the ante-rior teeth,ideal results were achieved using the ISW technique and the patient was satisfied with the outcome. 展开更多

Functional outcomes of radial head arthroplasty in Mason type III and IV fractures

BACKGROUND Radial head fractures constitute approximately one-third of all elbow fractures,significantly impacting the young and active population.While open reduction and internal fixation is the preferred treatment for displaced fractures,its high complication rate in comminuted fractures has led to the increasing use of radial head arthroplasty(RHA).RHA provides improved functional outcomes with fewer complications,yet its long-term efficacy remains a topic of debate.AIM To evaluate the functional outcomes of patients undergoing RHA with a modular metallic prosthesis for comminuted Mason type III and IV radial head fractures.METHODS A prospective and retrospective hospital-based study was conducted at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital,Ludhiana over 32 months(January 2021-August 2023).A total of 26 patients with Mason type III and IV fractures were included,with six retrospective and 20 prospective cases.Functional outcomes were assessed using the Mayo Elbow Performance Score(MEPS),elbow range of motion,pain via Visual Analog Scale,and activities of daily living at immediate postoperative,three-month,and six-month follow-ups.RESULTS MEPS at 6 months follow up for 4 cases(15.38%)had good scores,and 22 cases(84.62%)had excellent scores,with a mean±SD of 97.31±6.67.Comparisons showed significant improvement from immediate post-operative to 3 months(P<0.0001),from immediate post-operative to 6 months(P<0.0001),and between 3 months and 6 months(P<0.0001).None of the patients had elbow instability after radial head replacement and 22 cases(84.62%)had no complications,while 3 cases(11.54%)had a stiff elbow,and 1 case(3.85%)had heterotopic ossification.CONCLUSION RHA is an effective treatment for comminuted radial head fractures,providing stable elbow function with minimal complications. 展开更多

本研究旨在通过共表达分子伴侣蛋白以及优化发酵条件来提高III型普鲁兰水解酶(TK-PUL)在短小芽孢杆菌中的分泌表达水平。通过构建共表达TK-PUL和分子伴侣蛋白的多种重组短小芽孢杆菌,并以胞外酶活为指标对其进行筛选,确定最有利于TK-PU... 本研究旨在通过共表达分子伴侣蛋白以及优化发酵条件来提高III型普鲁兰水解酶(TK-PUL)在短小芽孢杆菌中的分泌表达水平。通过构建共表达TK-PUL和分子伴侣蛋白的多种重组短小芽孢杆菌,并以胞外酶活为指标对其进行筛选,确定最有利于TK-PUL分泌表达的分子伴侣蛋白及对应的重组短小芽孢杆菌。在此基础上采用单因素实验和响应面法优化重组短小芽孢杆菌的发酵条件。结果表明,共表达分子伴侣蛋白PrsA^(Ba)的重组短小芽孢杆菌的胞外酶活达到98.79 U/mL,提高了0.31倍。该重组短小芽孢杆菌的最佳培养基包括19.65 g/L葡萄糖、21.46 g/L酵母提取物、12.01 g/L MgCl_(2)·6H_(2)O、9.02 g/L脯氨酸、0.01 g/L FeSO4·7H_(2)O、0.01 g/L MnSO4·4H_(2)O、0.001 g/L ZnSO4·7H_(2)O。在发酵温度为35℃、起始发酵pH为7.0的条件下,该重组短小芽孢杆菌于最佳培养基中培养66 h时,其胞外酶活达到192.68 U/mL,提高了1.56倍。本研究通过共表达分子伴侣蛋白和发酵优化实现了TK-PUL在短小芽孢杆菌的高效分泌表达,为TK-PUL的应用提供了基础。 展开更多

针对多目标柔性作业车间调度问题,提出一种改进NSGA-Ⅲ算法,以完工时间、机器总负荷、瓶颈机器负荷为目标建立调度模型。首先,为提高种群的多样性,提出一种基于惩罚的边界相交距离定义关联操作中种群个体与参考向量之间的距离;其次,为... 针对多目标柔性作业车间调度问题,提出一种改进NSGA-Ⅲ算法,以完工时间、机器总负荷、瓶颈机器负荷为目标建立调度模型。首先,为提高种群的多样性,提出一种基于惩罚的边界相交距离定义关联操作中种群个体与参考向量之间的距离;其次,为提高环境选择的计算效率,利用基于惩罚的边界相交距离消除机制来保护个体,降低了个体保护策略的计算成本;最后,为避免种群陷入局部最优,在遗传算子中采用一种改进的变异策略。运用两个评价指标与NSGA-Ⅲ算法进行比较,其收敛性与多样性均由于NSGA-Ⅲ算法。同时在4个Kacem算例上进行测试得出改进NSGA-Ⅲ算法解的质量较高,最后通过实际的生产实例证明改进的NSGA-Ⅲ算法优于或等同于现存在的方法,也证明了该方法在解决多目标柔性作业车间调度难题上的可操作性。 展开更多

目的:通过测量混合牙列期骨性III类错合患者与骨性I类错合患者的锥形束计算机断层扫描(Cone beam computed tomography, CBCT),对比分析上下颌牙弓、基骨弓长度与宽度差异及协调性,以期为替牙期骨性III类错合畸形治疗提供参考依据。方法... 目的:通过测量混合牙列期骨性III类错合患者与骨性I类错合患者的锥形束计算机断层扫描(Cone beam computed tomography, CBCT),对比分析上下颌牙弓、基骨弓长度与宽度差异及协调性,以期为替牙期骨性III类错合畸形治疗提供参考依据。方法:选择替牙列期骨性III类错合与骨性I类错合各30例,通过Dolphin软件处理收集到的DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)医学图像数据,行三维重建并测量上下颌牙弓、基骨弓的长度与宽度,计算同一牙段牙弓宽度与基骨弓宽度之间的差值,比较骨性III类与骨性I类错牙合畸形牙弓与基骨弓宽度差值的差异。结果:1) 骨性III类错合组上颌牙弓及基骨弓长度均小于骨性I类错合组,下颌基骨弓长度大于骨性I类错合组,且差异有统计学意义(P 0.05)。2) 骨性III类错合组下颌前段及中段基骨弓宽度大于骨性I类错合组,差异有统计学意义(P 0.05)。3) 骨性III类错合组上颌牙弓与基骨弓宽度的差值均大于骨性I类错合组,下颌牙弓与基骨弓宽度的差值均小于骨性I类错合组,其中上颌后段牙弓宽度与基骨弓宽度差值差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。结论:混合牙列期骨性III类错合存在牙弓、基骨弓不调,上颌可扩大基骨弓,下颌可扩大牙弓,以期改善牙弓与基骨弓的协调性。 展开更多

乳腺癌(Breast cancer, BC)于2020年在全球新增癌症病例成为了最常见癌症,且发病率逐年升高。胶原蛋白是构成细胞外基质(Extracellular Matrix, ECM)的主要成分,近年来的研究发现III型胶原蛋白(Collagen Type III, COLIII)在乳腺癌的发... 乳腺癌(Breast cancer, BC)于2020年在全球新增癌症病例成为了最常见癌症,且发病率逐年升高。胶原蛋白是构成细胞外基质(Extracellular Matrix, ECM)的主要成分,近年来的研究发现III型胶原蛋白(Collagen Type III, COLIII)在乳腺癌的发生、发展过程中发挥重要作用,并对肿瘤微环境(Tumor micro-environment, TME)的维持有重要意义。其中,癌症相关成纤维细胞(Cancer-associated fibroblasts, CAFs)在建立和重塑ECM结构中扮演关键角色,调控肿瘤细胞通过TME入侵的进程。但由于该体系庞大,通过分泌细胞因子和趋化因子与癌细胞相互作用的机制复杂,各成分及其亚型在癌症进展中的角色尚存争议。本文基于TME在乳腺恶性肿瘤中的研究现状以及作为ECM中重要成分的COLIII的性质结构、形态分布,分析COLIII通过改变ECM的机械力与刚度影响乳腺癌行为的机制,同时充分讨论特殊结构、来源的COLIII在微环境中的不同功能及作用方式,评估其应用于癌症治疗的可能性。 展开更多

基于改进NSGA-III算法的多无人机协同目标分配

武器-目标分配问题是战场环境下无人机对敌方执行打击任务的关键,其目的是基于目标的威胁、价值和我方武器的毁伤概率,寻找合理的武器目标分配方案,以提高作战效率。针对当前多目标优化算法解决静态武器-目标分配问题时收敛速度慢、收... 武器-目标分配问题是战场环境下无人机对敌方执行打击任务的关键,其目的是基于目标的威胁、价值和我方武器的毁伤概率,寻找合理的武器目标分配方案,以提高作战效率。针对当前多目标优化算法解决静态武器-目标分配问题时收敛速度慢、收敛稳定性差,难以适应当前战场高度实时性的问题,提出一种改进的基于参考点的非支配排序遗传算法。通过二进制编码打击方案并优化初始种群,引入自适应变异与交叉策略以及种群寻优更新策略,基于对战场态势进行评估得到的威胁矩阵和优势矩阵,种群多次迭代后生成目标打击方案。最后计算满足约束条件的Pareto解集,并将Pareto前沿中的相对最优解作为多无人机的打击方案。多次实验证明,在较好情况下改进算法相比于原始算法的收敛时间减少46.74%,目标威胁值降低50.5%,总飞行航程减少26.46%,杀伤目标数增加11.76%,证明该算法在解决多无人机空对地打击任务目标分配问题时具有合理性和高效性。 展开更多

Objective: To investigate the effect of surgical nursing on grade III Hand-Foot Syndrome (HFS) induced by Doxorubicin hydrochloride liposome chemotherapy after breast cancer surgery. Method: From January 2019 to December 2019, 10 patients with HFS grade III caused by Doxorubicin hydrochloride liposome chemotherapy after breast cancer surgery in the Breast Department of Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center of Sun Yat-sen University were selected, and surgical nursing methods were used to intervene and observe the therapeutic effects of the patients. Results: One patient was cured within 7 days, the cure rate was 10% in 7 days, 8 patients were cured within 10 days, the cure rate was 80% in 10 days, 10 patients were cured within 15 days, the cure rate was 100% in 15 days. Conclusion: The surgical nursing method is effective for patients with grade III HFS caused by Doxorubicin hydrochloride liposome chemotherapy after breast cancer surgery, shortening the treatment time of HFS, and is worthy of clinical promotion. 展开更多

Value of negative pressure sealing drainage on wound healing of Gustilo IIIB and IIIC open fractures

BACKGROUND Gustilo III fractures have a high incidence and are difficult to treat.Patients often experience difficulty in wound healing.Negative pressure drainage technology can help shorten wound healing time and has positive value in improving patient prognosis.AIM To explore the clinical value of the negative pressure sealing drainage technique in wound healing of Gustilo IIIB and IIIC open fractures.METHODS Eighty patients with Gustilo IIIB and IIIC open fractures with skin and soft tissue injuries who were treated in the Second People’s Hospital of Dalian from March 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a study group(n=40,healed with negative pressure closed drainage)and a control group(n=40,healed with conventional dressing changes)according to the variation in the healing they received.The efficacy of the clinical interventions,the variations in the regression indicators(time to wound healing,time to fracture healing,time to hospitalization),and the conversion and healing of bacterial wounds were compared 1-3 mo after the intervention.RESULTS The total effective rate of patients among the study group was 95.00%(38/40),which was notably higher than 75.00%(30/40)among the control group(P<0.05).The wound healing time,fracture healing time,and hospital stay of the patients in the study group was shorter than the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the negative bacterial culture at the wound site rate and wound healing rate of the patients among the study group increased compared to the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Negative pressure sealing and drainage technology has a good therapeutic effect on patients with Gustilo IIIB and IIIC open fracture wounds with skin and soft tissue injury.It can notably enhance the wound healing rate and the negative rate of bacteria on the wound surface and help to speed up the recovery process of patients. 展开更多

Mercury ion(Hg^(2+)),a highly noxious of heavy metalion,has detrimental effects on the ecological environment and human health.Herein,we have developed an exonuclease III(Exo III)assisted catalytic hairpin assembly formation of a trivalent G-quadruplex/hemin DNAzyme for colorimetric detection of Hg^(2+).A hairpin DNA(Hr)was designed with thymine-Hg^(2+)-thymine pairs that catalyzed by Exo III is prompted to happen upon binding Hg^(2+).A released DNA fragment triggers the catalytic assembly of other three hairpins(H1,H2,and H3)to form many trivalent G-quadruplex/hemin DNA enzymes for signal output.The developed sensor shows a dynamic range from 2 pM to 2μM,with an impressively low detection limit of 0.32 pM for Hg^(2+)detection.Such a sensor also has good selectivity toward Hg^(2+)detection in the presence of other common metal ions.This strategy shows the great potential for visual detection with portable type. 展开更多

目的探讨β-tubulinⅢ和CD34在非黏液型肺腺癌早期浸润病理诊断中的应用价值。方法应用免疫组化EnVision法检测非典型腺瘤样增生(AAH)51例,原位腺癌(AIS)134例,微小浸润性腺癌(MIA)403例以及浸润性腺癌(IA)540例组织中β-tubulinⅢ和CD3... 目的探讨β-tubulinⅢ和CD34在非黏液型肺腺癌早期浸润病理诊断中的应用价值。方法应用免疫组化EnVision法检测非典型腺瘤样增生(AAH)51例,原位腺癌(AIS)134例,微小浸润性腺癌(MIA)403例以及浸润性腺癌(IA)540例组织中β-tubulinⅢ和CD34表达差异。结果β-tubulinⅢ在正常肺组织及肺腺癌前体病变(AAH、AIS)中均为阴性表达,在MIA和IA中阳性表达率分别为47.1%和77.4%,β-tubulinⅢ在各组间的表达差异具有统计学意义(P<0.001)。在AAH、AIS与MIA的鉴别诊断中,β-tubulinⅢ阳性表达诊断MIA的特异性为100%,灵敏度为47.1%。CD34在正常肺组织、AAH和AIS中,肺泡壁毛细血管及基膜呈阳性,勾勒出肺泡壁的基本结构,肺泡结构完整;在MIA的浸润灶及IA中,肺泡壁破坏,CD34染色呈“迷宫”样结构,浸润性腺体周围CD34染色不连续或消失。结论在非黏液型肺腺癌与前体病变中,β-tubulinⅢ表达具有显著差异,且CD34染色模式不同,两者联合检测有助于肺腺癌早期浸润的判断。 展开更多

婚姻法等相关法律的修正调整,尤其是家庭财产安排的改变,将有力冲击婚姻匹配的决策过程进而影响家庭收入状态。基于2011年婚姻法修正案--婚姻法司法解释三的出台,考察修正案前后家庭内部收入差距变动的趋势,并从婚姻匹配模式探究其变动... 婚姻法等相关法律的修正调整,尤其是家庭财产安排的改变,将有力冲击婚姻匹配的决策过程进而影响家庭收入状态。基于2011年婚姻法修正案--婚姻法司法解释三的出台,考察修正案前后家庭内部收入差距变动的趋势,并从婚姻匹配模式探究其变动的原因。研究发现:法案出台后的新婚家庭配偶间收入差距相比法案出台前已婚家庭配偶间收入差距缩小,该结论在替换被解释变量、排除其他政策干扰、处理样本偏差问题后,保持稳健。影响机制主要是婚姻匹配模式发生变化,受教育水平的“正向匹配”趋势是新婚家庭相较法案出台前已婚家庭收入差距缩小的重要原因。异质性分析结果表明这种缩小趋势在传统文化观念强的地区、房价更低的地区更为显著。研究为阐释婚姻法司法解释三的出台冲击婚配观念进而改变择偶匹配模式和配偶间收入差距提供了坚实的现实依据,也拓展了部分少婚、晚婚等家庭问题的思考空间和解决思路。 展开更多
