文摘The rapid advancement of wearable electronic devices has paved the way for a more intelligent and interconnected world. However, ensuring the sustainable energy supply for these devices remains a critical challenge, particularly for specialized populations and professionals in demanding environments, where a lack of power can pose life-threatening risks.Herein,we propose a mechanically intelligent biomechanical energy harvesting approach that adapts to complex human motion excitations, thereby improving the energy harvesting performance.Leveraging a mechanical intelligence mechanism, the energy harvester aligns with human physiological habits, selectively activating or deactivating as needed. The system can also adapt to excitations of varying directions, amplitudes, and frequencies.Furthermore, the string tension helps reduce the impact forces on the knee joint during foot strikes.A theoretical model for the biomechanical energy harvesting system is developed to describe its dynamic and electrical characteristics, and a prototype is fabricated and tested under diverse conditions. The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation trends, validating the effectiveness of the theoretical model.A test subject running at 8 km/h for 90 seconds can successfully power a smartphone for 20 seconds, demonstrating the viability of self-powered applications. This mechanically intelligent biomechanical energy harvesting method holds a promising solution for the sustainable power supply for wearable electronic devices.

文摘In multi-orbital systems, the correlation strength is typically attributed to Coulomb interactions and Hund's couplings. However, this study demonstrates that on-site inter-orbital hybridization can also significant influence the correlation strength of the system. We investigate the impact of on-site inter-orbital hybridization on the correlation strength of a two-orbital Hubbard model on a square lattice using the dynamical mean-field theory combined with Lanczos exact diagonalization. Our findings reveal a distinct Janus effect:on-site inter-orbital hybridization enhances correlation strength in the non-half-filled regime while suppresses it at half-filling.This dual role of on-site inter-orbital hybridization provides a fundamental mechanism for tuning the strength of correlations in multi-orbital systems.

文摘In coal mines, dynamic disasters such as rock bursts seriously threaten the safety of mining activities.Exploring the dynamic behaviors and disaster characteristics in the impact failure process of coal serves as the basis and prerequisite for monitoring and warning rock bursts. In this context, impact failure tests of coal were carried out under different axial static loads and impact velocities to analyze the dynamic behaviors and acoustic emission(AE)response characteristics of coal. The results show that the dynamic behaviors of coal under combined dynamic and static loads are significantly different from those under static loads, and the stress-strain curve displays double peaks without an obvious compaction stage. As the axial static load grows, the dynamic strength and peak strain both have a quadratic function with the axial static load. When the coal damage intensifies instantaneously, the AE count and energy parameters both witness pulse-like increases and reach their peak values. The damage effect of axial static loads on coal, though limited, has an extreme point. In contrast, the impact velocity can strengthen the response of AE signals and has linear function relationships with the peak values of AE count and energy. This plays a leading role in the damage to samples and sets a critical point for coal failure and fracture.Compared with the analysis results of stress and strain, the responses of AE signals are more accurate and reliable.Based on AE response characteristics, the damage evolution process of coal under the combined dynamic and static loads can be identified more accurately to reveal the moment corresponding to coal damage and the characteristics of coal failure. The research results are conducive to the further application of AE monitoring methods to early warning of rock burst disasters in coal mining sites.

文摘Interaction between the converter and the grid may lead to harmonic oscillations. The impedance-based method is an effective way to deal with the stability issue. In this study, the impedance-based method is used to investigate the small-signal stability of a cascaded 12-pulse line-commutated converter-based high-voltage direct current(LCC-HVDC)transmission system. In the modeling part, the impedance models of the single rectifier and inverter are established respectively with consideration to the effect of frequency coupling, which has improved the accuracy of the models.Based on the models, the AC impedance models of the cascaded LCC-HVDC transmission system are established both on the rectifier and inverter side.In the stability analysis part, the stability of the system is analyzed under different working conditions. The simulation results reveal that the established impedance model can properly represent the stability of this system. The findings of this study can provide a theoretical reference for the stability design and oscillation suppression strategy of LCC-HVDC transmission systems and LCC interconnected systems.

文摘During the hoisting process of the offshore substation, changes in the hoisting speed can affect the hoisting system. Therefore, this study set four different speed conditions for the lifting and lowering stages of the installation process, and studied the impact of different lifting and lowering speeds on the hoisting system under the same environmental conditions through numerical simulation. The results show that during the lifting operation,as the lifting speed increases, the swing motion of the substation and the installation vessel tends to decrease, and the faster the hoisting speed, the more obvious the swing suppression of the substation and the installation vessel, and the smaller the fluctuation in the tension amplitude of the slings and mooring lines. In contrast, during the lowering operation,as the lowering speed increases, the swing motion of the substation and the installation vessel tends to increase, and the faster the lowering speed, the more obvious the swing amplification effect of the substation and the installation vessel. Therefore, during hoisting operations, increasing the lifting speed and reducing the lowering speed can mitigate the motion performance of the hoisting coupling system, reduce the tension amplitude variation of the sling and mooring, and ensure the smooth progress of the hoisting operation.

文摘Understanding how rock slopes respond to blasting loads is crucial for maintaining excavation safety and slope stability.Nevertheless, the spatiotemporal evolution, nonlinear dependence on blasting parameters, and predictive behavior of dominant frequency responses in slope vibrations remain insufficiently understood and quantified. This study combines time-frequency analysis with machine learning to explore how the dominant frequency(f_(d))evolves in slopes under blasting.Continuous Wavelet Transform(CWT)was employed to characterize the temporal-frequency evolution of vibration signals, revealing that the dominant frequency exhibits strong spatial dependence and nonlinear variability influenced by blasting parameters and rock mass structures.Three machine learning models, namely Back Propagation Neural Network(BP),Support Vector Machine(SVM),and Random Forest(RF),were developed to predict f_(d) based on 1,000 monitoring samples obtained from numerical and field simulations.Among them, the RF model achieved the highest prediction accuracy, with mean absolute percentage errors(MAPE)below 15%,demonstrating strong robustness and generalization capability. Our analysis shows that external excitation factors, especially the loading frequency(f_(d)),mainly control the frequency response, while internal controlling factors, such as spatial position, lithological variation, and mechanical heterogeneity, modulate localized frequency amplification and energy redistribution. The results reveal that f_(d) tends to decrease with elevation and distance from the blasting source, whereas structural planes and weathered zones induce high-frequency amplification due to scattering and modal coupling effects. This study offers a new framework combining time-frequency analysis and machine learning to measure the nonlinear interaction between blasting and rock mass response, offering new insights for dynamic stability evaluation and hazard mitigation in complex rock slope systems.

文摘In this manuscript,we consider a non-autonomous dynamical system.Using the Carathéodory structure,we define a BS dimension on an arbitrary subset and obtain a Bowen’s equation that illustrates the relation of the BS dimension to the Pesin-Pitskel topological pressure given by Nazarian[24].Moreover,we establish a variational principle and an inverse variational principle for the BS dimension of non-autonomous dynamical systems. Finally,we also get an analogue of Billingsley’s theorem for the BS dimension of non-autonomous dynamical systems.

文摘With the increasing complexity of logistics operations, traditional static vehicle routing models are no longer sufficient. In practice, customer demands often arise dynamically, and multi-depot systems are commonly used to improve efficiency. This paper first introduces a vehicle routing problem with the goal of minimizing operating costs in a multi-depot environment with dynamic demand.New customers appear in the delivery process at any time and are periodically optimized according to time slices. Then,we propose a scheduling system TS-DPU based on an improved ant colony algorithm TS-ACO to solve this problem. The classical ant colony algorithm uses spatial distance to select nodes, while TS-ACO considers the impact of both temporal and spatial distance on node selection.Meanwhile,we adopt Cordeau’s Multi-Depot Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows(MDVRPTW)dataset to evaluate the performance of our system.According to the experimental results,TS-ACO,which considers spatial and temporal distance,is more effective than the classical ACO,which only considers spatial distance.

文摘Separation of 2-methylfuran(2-MF)and methanol(MeOH)azeotropes is a key challenge in biofuel production because of the efficiency and sustainability issues of conventional methods. In this study, ionic liquids(ILs)were introduced as green solvents for separation of 2-MF/MeOH through liquid–liquid equilibrium(LLE)experiment.Three ILs,namely 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazole dihydrogen phosphate([EMIM][H_(2)PO_(4)]),1-propyl-3-methylimidazole dihydrogen phosphate([PMIM][H_(2)PO_(4)])and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazole dihydrogen phosphate([BMIM][H_(2)PO_(4)]),were screened out from 425 candidates using the conductor-like screening model for real solvents(COSMO-RS).Then,the ternary LLE data of 2-MF(1)+MeOH(2)+ILs(3)were determined at 30℃ and 101.32 kPa.Results confirmed[EMIM][H_(2)PO_(4)]as the best performer, achieving a selectivity of 343.86 and a distribution coefficient of 36.66 for MeOH—significantly higher than[PMIM][H_(2)PO_(4)]and[BMIM][H_(2)PO_(4)].The accuracy of the LLE data was verified by Othmer–Tobias and Hand equations(R^(2)>0.90).The non-random two liquid model was used to correlate the experimental data(RMSD<2%).Besides,the combination of electrostatic surfaces potential, independent gradient model based on Hirshfeld partition, mean square displacement and radial distribution functions revealed strong electrostatic interactions between[H_(2)PO_(4)]^(–) and MeOH.Interaction energy analysis further emphasizes the mechanism of MeOH separation from a mixture of 2-MF and MeOH by ILs.This work provides a multiscale strategy for the separation of 2-MF and MeOH azeotropes, highlighting the potential of ILs to improve biofuel purification while reducing energy and environmental costs.

文摘Probiotics can regulate gut microbes to maintain human health. However, the sensitivity of probiotics to environmental conditions reduces their bioavailability. In contrast, the formation of probiotic biofilm provides a natural physical barrier against external interference. Our previous study established a dynamic culture system of the biofilm-state Bifidobacterium adolescentis Gr19(B-DC-B.adolescentis Gr19),forming higher density and more structurally stable biofilms, which enhanced its potential probiotic properties in vivo. Thus, the protective effect and mechanism of B-DC-B.adolescentis Gr19 on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced intestinal barrier dysfunction were investigated in this study. The results showed that B-DC-B.adolescentis Gr19 not only had high resistance and adhesion activity, but also improved the intestinal barrier by increasing goblet cells and promoting the expression of tight junction(TJ)-related proteins.Moreover,B-DC-B.adolescentis Gr19 effectively attenuated intestinal barrier injury in Caco-2 cells by improving intestinal permeability and integrity.Remarkably,B-DC-B.adolescentis Gr19 enhanced expression of TJ proteins, restored localization of cytoskeleton and reduced intestinal inflammation by suppressing the Ras homolog family member A/Rho-associated coiled-coil-forming kinases/nuclear factor kappa B/myosin light chain kinase/myosin light chain(RhoA/ROCK/NF-κB/MLCK/MLC)pathway.Therefore,B-DC-B.adolescentis Gr19 plays a key role in mitigating LPS-induced intestinal barrier dysfunction.Overall, the present study provides a theoretical basis for ameliorating intestinal barrier dysfunction and developing novel functional foods by using biofilm-state probiotics under dynamic culture.
文摘Earthquakes are highly destructive spatio-temporal phenomena whose analysis is essential for disaster preparedness and risk mitigation.Modern seismological research produces vast volumes of heterogeneous data from seismic networks, satellite observations, and geospatial repositories, creating the need for scalable infrastructures capable of integrating and analyzing such data to support intelligent decision-making.Data warehousing technologies provide a robust foundation for this purpose;however, existing earthquake-oriented data warehouses remain limited, often relying on simplified schemas,domain-specific analytics,or cataloguing efforts. This paper presents the design and implementation of a spatio-temporal data warehouse for seismic activity. The framework integrates spatial and temporal dimensions in a unified schema and introduces a novel array-based approach for managing many-to-many relationships between facts and dimensions without intermediate bridge tables.A comparative evaluation against a conventional bridge-table schema demonstrates that the array-based design improves fact-centric query performance, while the bridge-table schema remains advantageous for dimension-centric queries. To reconcile these trade-offs,a hybrid schema is proposed that retains both representations, ensuring balanced efficiency across heterogeneous workloads. The proposed framework demonstrates how spatio-temporal data warehousing can address schema complexity, improve query performance, and support multidimensional visualization. In doing so,it provides a foundation for integrating seismic analysis into broader big data-driven intelligent decision systems for disaster resilience, risk mitigation, and emergency management.

文摘The coal dynamic characteristic stress identification under dynamic load is important for guiding underground mineral mining and predicting underground dynamic disasters. In this article, the dynamic compression test of anthracite under five strain rates is carried out,the evolution law of three kinds of crack characteristic stress is analyzed, and a prediction model of the crack characteristic stress threshold considering the strain rate effect is established. Then, the rationality of crack characteristic stress under dynamic loading is discussed from the damage evolution standpoint, and the crack extension response mechanism during dynamic compression of anthracite is discussed. The result shows that the crack characteristic stress threshold is significantly influenced by the strain rate. The three characteristic stress thresholds are positively correlated with the strain rate, but the ratios to the crest stress gradually decrease. The increase in the strain rate strongly contributes to the crack extension behavior of anthracite. In the crack unstable extension phase, because of the increase of the strain rate, anthracite shows more energy dissipation under the same deformation in association with the stress concentration effect and the dynamic strength enhancement effect. The crack propagation rate is increased, the crack propagation path of the section is more complex, and more severe damage occurs before the dynamic failure of anthracite, which leads to even more severe damage.
