Methods: A convenience sampling of 460 undergraduate nursing students was surveyed in Tianjin, China. Students who participated in the study completed a questionnaire that included social demographic questionnaire, Self-directed Learning Readiness Scale, Attitude to Learning Scale, and Social Problem-Solving Inventory. Pearson’s correlation analysis was performed to test the correlations among problem-solving ability, self-directed learning readiness, and learning attitude. Hierarchical linear regression analyses were performed to explore the mediating role of learning attitude. Results: The results showed that learning attitude (r=0.338, P<0.01) and self-directed learning readiness (r=0.493, P<0.01) were positively correlated with problem-solving ability. Learning attitude played a partial intermediary role between self-directed learning readiness and problem-solving ability (F=74.227, P<0.01). Conclusions: It is concluded that nursing educators should pay attention on students’ individual differences and take proper actions to inspire students’ self-directed learning readiness and learning attitude.展开更多

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationships among self-directed learning readiness, problemsolving ability, and academic self-efficacy among undergraduate nursing students.Methods: From November to December 2016, research was conducted among 500 nursing undergraduate students in Tianjin, China,using a self-directed learning readiness scale, an academic self-efficacy scale, a questionnaire related to problem-solving, and selfdesigned demographics. The response rate was 85.8%.Results: For Chinese nursing students, self-directed learning readiness and academic self-efficacy reached a medium-to-high level,while problem-solving abilities were at a low level. There were significant positive correlations among the students' self-directed learning readiness, academic self-efficacy, and problem-solving ability. Furthermore, academic self-efficacy demonstrated a mediating effect on the relationship between the students' self-directed learning readiness and problem-solving ability.Conclusions: To enhance students' problem-solving ability, nursing educators should pay more attention to the positive impact of self-directed learning readiness and self-efficacy in nursing students' education.展开更多

Methods： The convenience sampling method was used to select the Subject of the study. In total, 180 third-year, fourth-year, and fifth-year nursing undergraduate students were enrolled in this study. A self-designed scale of clinical thinking ability was used to collect the data. SPSS17.0 was used to analyze the data. Results： The average scores of clinical thinking ability of undergraduate nursing students were 68.14±9.13. In addition, 71.1% of the students have a higher level of clinical thinking ability, and only 7.2% of the students have the best level. The ANOVA test showed that the fourth-year students had the highest scores（72.96±8.64）, and the third-year students had the lowest scores（62.35±8.09）, which indicated a significant difference in the scores of the three groups（ F= 26. 79, P〈0.05）. Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that the frequency of academic activities and the frequency of department rounds were significantly correlated to clinical thinking ability（P〈0.05）. Conclusion： We must pay attention to the changes and influencing factors of clinical thinking ability of nursing undergraduate students. Thus, traditional teaching methods need to evolve and be revised to host the capacity of clinical practice most effectively and, eventually, promote the development of clinical thinking ability of nursing undergraduate students.展开更多

Objective:To explore the application effect of scenario simulation teaching method based on Debriefing-GAS mode in the teaching of clinical nursing students in neurosurgery and its influence on critical thinking,clini...Objective:To explore the application effect of scenario simulation teaching method based on Debriefing-GAS mode in the teaching of clinical nursing students in neurosurgery and its influence on critical thinking,clinical practice ability and teaching satisfaction.Methods:A total of 100 nursing students who were doing their internship in the Department of Neurosurgery at a tertiary hospital in Sichuan Province from July 2024 to June 2025 were selected and divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 50 students in each group,using the historical control grouping method.The control group used the traditional teaching method for scenario simulation,while the experimental group used the Debriefing-GAS model for scenario simulation teaching.The teaching effect was evaluated using the DASH scale,the CIDI-CV scale,the clinical practice ability scale and the self-made teaching satisfaction questionnaire,and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 25.0.Results:The total DASH score of the experimental group(6.45±0.41)was significantly higher than that of the control group(5.12±0.47,t=14.01,p<0.001);The total score of critical thinking ability(338.6±22.5)was higher than that of the control group(307.8±24.1,t=6.55,p<0.001);The score of clinical practice ability(189.4±15.2)was significantly higher than that of the control group(168.7±14.9,t=6.49,p<0).Teaching satisfaction was 96%in the experimental group and 82%in the control group,statistically significant(χ^(2)=4.32,p=0.038).Conclusion:The scenario simulation teaching method based on the Debriefing-GAS model can significantly improve the learning initiative,reflective ability,critical thinking level and clinical practice ability of clinical nursing students,and enhance teaching satisfaction.展开更多

文摘Objective： This study investigated and compared the clinical thinking ability of undergraduate nursing students of different grades, and searched for influencing factors of clinical thinking ability of nursing undergraduate students. Methods： The convenience sampling method was used to select the Subject of the study. In total, 180 third-year, fourth-year, and fifth-year nursing undergraduate students were enrolled in this study. A self-designed scale of clinical thinking ability was used to collect the data. SPSS17.0 was used to analyze the data. Results： The average scores of clinical thinking ability of undergraduate nursing students were 68.14±9.13. In addition, 71.1% of the students have a higher level of clinical thinking ability, and only 7.2% of the students have the best level. The ANOVA test showed that the fourth-year students had the highest scores（72.96±8.64）, and the third-year students had the lowest scores（62.35±8.09）, which indicated a significant difference in the scores of the three groups（ F= 26. 79, P〈0.05）. Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that the frequency of academic activities and the frequency of department rounds were significantly correlated to clinical thinking ability（P〈0.05）. Conclusion： We must pay attention to the changes and influencing factors of clinical thinking ability of nursing undergraduate students. Thus, traditional teaching methods need to evolve and be revised to host the capacity of clinical practice most effectively and, eventually, promote the development of clinical thinking ability of nursing undergraduate students.

文摘The cultivation of English major students＇ vocational ability is the key to the improvement of graduates＇ quality, the enhancement employment and shortening the entry cycle. However, due to the improper curriculum, lack of the micro-standard skill teaching lab and the formalistic teaching practice, there are many problems in English major students＇ vocational ability in ethnic regions. For instance, their language knowledge and ability is not solid; they lack the modem foreign language teaching theories; they have a weak pragmatic competence and lack teaching reflection, etc.. In practical teaching, it is proved that the following ways are effective to solve these problems optimizing the curriculum, strengthening language teaching and skill training and improving the quality of teaching practice and teaching reflection
文摘Referring to the questionnaire survey and literature materials, this paper describes the current situation of college students＇ insufficient autonomous English learning ability and thefactors that influence this ability; it also suggests feasible suggestions under the network environment. Students （N= 178） from different grades, majors, universities and areas responded to a questionnaire survey, and the collected data were analyzed. The results indicate that complex external environment and insufficient internal subject cognition influence college students＇ autonomous English learning ability. Finally, this paper suggests that a good network environment is necessary for autonomous learners to enhance insufficient autonomous English learning ability and interaction, continuous thinking and cultural introduction are also indispensable to develop this ability.
文摘In the new era,colleges in the China need to cultivate college students with innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities.Through the use of SWOT analysis method,a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of college students'innovation and entrepreneurial ability training and the opportunities and challenges they face.With the help of the SWOT matrix analysis model,starting from the four aspects of using advantages,overcoming disadvantages,seizing opportunities,and resolving challenges,it proposes specific measures to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities of college students,hoping to provide certain references for colleges in the China to cultivate the innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities of college students.

文摘This article first reviews the basic concepts and theoretical frameworks of empathic ability.Subsequently,it analyzes the characteristics of student nurses'empathic ability,its measurement methods,and influencing factors,and explores effective strategies for enhancing it.Finally,this paper summarizes the impact of student nurses'empathic ability on nursing practice,professional development,and emotional health,and proposes directions for future research.Through the integration and analysis of existing literature,this study provides nursing educators with a solid theoretical foundation and practical guidance for enhancing student nurses'empathic ability.

文摘Objective:To explore the application effect of scenario simulation teaching method based on Debriefing-GAS mode in the teaching of clinical nursing students in neurosurgery and its influence on critical thinking,clinical practice ability and teaching satisfaction.Methods:A total of 100 nursing students who were doing their internship in the Department of Neurosurgery at a tertiary hospital in Sichuan Province from July 2024 to June 2025 were selected and divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 50 students in each group,using the historical control grouping method.The control group used the traditional teaching method for scenario simulation,while the experimental group used the Debriefing-GAS model for scenario simulation teaching.The teaching effect was evaluated using the DASH scale,the CIDI-CV scale,the clinical practice ability scale and the self-made teaching satisfaction questionnaire,and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 25.0.Results:The total DASH score of the experimental group(6.45±0.41)was significantly higher than that of the control group(5.12±0.47,t=14.01,p<0.001);The total score of critical thinking ability(338.6±22.5)was higher than that of the control group(307.8±24.1,t=6.55,p<0.001);The score of clinical practice ability(189.4±15.2)was significantly higher than that of the control group(168.7±14.9,t=6.49,p<0).Teaching satisfaction was 96%in the experimental group and 82%in the control group,statistically significant(χ^(2)=4.32,p=0.038).Conclusion:The scenario simulation teaching method based on the Debriefing-GAS model can significantly improve the learning initiative,reflective ability,critical thinking level and clinical practice ability of clinical nursing students,and enhance teaching satisfaction.
文摘This study investigated the effectiveness of the BOPPPS teaching model in improving English reading skills among junior high school students in Fujian Province,China.Using a quasi-experimental design,102 ninth-grade students from two classes participated:an experimental group(n=51)taught with BOPPPS for 12 weeks(12 sessions)and a control group(*n=51)receiving traditional instruction.The A2 Key for Schools test measured reading ability pre-and post-intervention.Data analysis(independent/paired t-tests,ANCOVA)revealed that students in the BOPPPS group showed significantly greater improvement in English reading ability compared to the control group.The findings indicate the BOPPPS model is well-suited for developing junior high English reading curricula to enhance student proficiency.
