Compact superconducting single-and dual-band filter design using multimode stepped-impedance resonator

This study presents two multimode stepped-impedance structures to design single-and dual-band filters. Transmission zeroes are introduced for the single-band filter by using dual-mode stepped-impedance resonators. The single-band filter with high selectivity is centered at 6.02 GHz and has a fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 25.6%. Four stubs (two low frequency and two high frequency ones) are connected to the rectangular patch in the center to construct a quadruple-mode resonator. The independent conditions of the center frequencies of the high and low bands of the resonator are analyzed. A dual-band filter, which operates at 1.53 GHz and 2.44 GHz with FWBs of 12.1% and 14.1%, respectively is designed. The single-and dual-band filters are both fabricated with double-sided YBCO films and they can be used in mobile and satellite communications. 展开更多

Static filtering and collocation in successive steps for measurements with colored noises

The theory of static filtering in successive steps with colored noises is ample scope for its application in the procedure of GPS data processing.A majority of error and round-cycle distinctness in the measurements of GPS carrier phase can be eliminated through three times of differential calculations of stations,satellites and epochs,in which the cycle beatings became isolated values.The observation error of three-differentials in the intervals between epochs results in block diagonal matrixes in the covariance matrixes,so that the desired matrixes occupy too large memory and the processing time is too long.Therefore,by using the theory of static filtering in successive steps with colored noises,the interrelation can be eliminated and can save the processing time and memory. 展开更多

The low-impedance open-end line of the quarter-wavelength Stepped-Impedance Resonator (SIR) is replaced by two open-end high-impedance lines, which not only facilitate the coupling mechanism but also provide the strong electric coupling between resonators. With the proper utilization of folded SIRs, the occupied area of coupled-resonator pair can be reduced. By applying the proposed coupled-resonator pair, the passband filter with the compact size can be realized. Good agreement between measured and simulated results is observed. The proposed filter is desirable for compact and high-performance microwave circuit applications. 展开更多

针对定步长最小均方算法收敛速度和稳态误差之间存在的矛盾,提出一种新型变步长算法。算法以Sigmoid函数为基础,建立步长因子随误差信号变化的新型函数关系。在算法迭代初始阶段步长因子较大,收敛速度快,在收敛后采用步长因子小,稳态误... 针对定步长最小均方算法收敛速度和稳态误差之间存在的矛盾,提出一种新型变步长算法。算法以Sigmoid函数为基础,建立步长因子随误差信号变化的新型函数关系。在算法迭代初始阶段步长因子较大,收敛速度快,在收敛后采用步长因子小,稳态误差小。分析引进的控制参数对算法步长变化的影响,与经典变步长算法的收敛曲线做对比。实验结果表明,改进后算法在信噪比为30 dB时,均方误差与经典变步长算法相比,平均降噪量(MNR)分别降低1.9 dB、0.4 dB。在10 dB、20 dB、30 dB信噪比下,算法收敛至稳态所需迭代次数分别为238次、276次、329次。 展开更多

Firstly, the system equation was updated by introducing a correction term, which depends on the current measurement and can be obtained by running a suboptimal filter. Then, a new importance density function(IDF) was defined by the updated system equation. Particles drawn from the new IDF are more likely to be in the significant region of state space and the estimation accuracy can be improved. By using different suboptimal filter, different particle filters(PFs) can be developed in this framework. Extensions of this idea were also proposed by iteratively updating the system equation using particle filter itself, resulting in the iterated particle filter. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed IDF. 展开更多

Utilizing least square kurtosis of output signals as a cost function, the new gradient-based algorithm to update frequency of the adaptive IIR notch filter and the new variable step-size algorithm are given. The computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better ability in suppressing colored Gaussian noises and better accuracy in estimating parameters at low SNR than previous algorithms. 展开更多

It can realize demodulation of distributed fiber Bragg grating(FBG) measurement system. Its scanning resolution and scanning period depend on wavelet function. Wavelet function is controlled by computer. Compared to conventional scan filter, optical wavelet filtering has some advantages such as simple structure, high scan frequency, high resolution and good linearity. At last, the error of optical wavelet filter scanning procedure is analyzed. Scanning step length refers to the shifting of optical wavelet window's central frequency. It affects system precision directly. If scanning step length is different, the measured signal is different. The methods of reducing step length guarantee scanning periodic time are presented. 展开更多

The proposed technique has been applied on a band stop and a low pass filter separately. This technique provides 42% reduction of size for the band stop filter and about 26% for the low pass counterpart. Both the designed structures are fabricated and the measured results are compared with the simulated results. The proposed technique does not require any recalculation or optimization of dimensions of the filter, and is straightforward to implement. The band stop filter is designed for the center frequency of 3 GHz where as the cut-off frequency for low pass filter is 2.5 GHz. A good agreement between the simulated and measured results is observed. A comprehensible explanation of the proposed technique is also provided. 展开更多

This paper presents a study of a non-uniform pitch helical resonator (NPHR) structure and the coupling mechanisms to design dual-passband filters. The previous research analyzes NPHR as a type of step impedance resonator (SIR), however, it does not give analytical equations or prediction for the dual-resonance characteristics of the NPHR structure discussed in this paper. Consequently, a circuit model is proposed to analyze the dual-resonance characteristics of NPHRs. Analytical equations are derived, showing that the frequency ratio of a dual-band NPHR can be determined by the ratio of turns. EM simulation and experimental results have shown good agreement with the circuit analysis. The derived analytical equations from circuit model can be used for fast design of NPHRs. A step-width aperture is proposed to independently control the coupling coefficients at the each band of NPHRs. A third order dual-passband filter has been designed and fabricated. The filter has 3.3% and 3% fractional bandwidths at 789 MHz and 2402 MHz, respectively. The designed prototype filter shows that NPHRs can be utilized to realize compact filters with dual-band characteristics. The filter design can be extended from engineering perspective for application in wireless communication systems. 展开更多

基于逐步过滤相似法和自组织映射(SOM)神经网络方法,提出了一种融合相似预报方法。利用ECMWF模式预报产品、ERA5再分析资料和地面气象台站观测数据,使用该方法对2021-2022年陇东南地区开展了时效为72 h的强降水预报试验,并对预报效果进... 基于逐步过滤相似法和自组织映射(SOM)神经网络方法,提出了一种融合相似预报方法。利用ECMWF模式预报产品、ERA5再分析资料和地面气象台站观测数据,使用该方法对2021-2022年陇东南地区开展了时效为72 h的强降水预报试验,并对预报效果进行了检验。结果表明:(1)融合相似预报方法的TS评分处于4.5%~9.1%之间,与ECMWF模式预报结果相比表现出一定的优势。随着预报时效的增长,强降水预报的TS评分呈现减小的趋势,其在08:00(北京时,下同)起报的TS评分相对较高。(2)相比于单独使用逐步过滤相似预报,融合相似预报方法的准确性有所提升,并能在一定程度上降低空报率。其中08:00起报和20:00起报的TS评分提高了1.31%和0.63%,而FAR同时下降了2.39%和1.25%。 展开更多

针对定步长LMS算法在收敛速度和稳态误差之间难以取得平衡的问题以及传统变步长算法对初始参数选择依赖程度高、工作量大且存在主观性的缺陷,提出了一种基于深度强化学习的变步长LMS算法。该算法对初始参数的依赖性小,规避了繁琐的调参... 针对定步长LMS算法在收敛速度和稳态误差之间难以取得平衡的问题以及传统变步长算法对初始参数选择依赖程度高、工作量大且存在主观性的缺陷,提出了一种基于深度强化学习的变步长LMS算法。该算法对初始参数的依赖性小,规避了繁琐的调参流程。首先,构建了一个融合深度强化学习和自适应滤波的算法模型,该模型利用深度强化学习智能体控制步长因子的变化,代替了传统变步长算法中用于步长调整的非线性函数,从而规避了繁琐的实验调参流程,降低了算法使用的复杂性。其次,提出了基于误差的状态奖励和基于步长的动作奖励函数,引入动态奖励与负奖励机制,有效提升算法的收敛速度。此外,设计了基于欠完备编码器的网络结构,提高了强化学习策略的推理能力。通过实验验证,相较于其他较新的变步长算法,所提出的算法具有更快的收敛速度和更小的稳态误差,在不同初始参数下均能快速调整至合理的步长值,减少了实验调参的工作量。将训练完成的网络应用到系统辨识、信号去噪以及截流区龙口水域水位信号的滤波等实际领域中,均取得了良好的性能表现,证明了算法具有一定的泛化能力,并进一步证实了其有效性。 展开更多
