The unique structure of signed networks,characterized by positive and negative edges,poses significant challenges for analyzing network topology.In recent years,various statistical algorithms have been developed to ad...The unique structure of signed networks,characterized by positive and negative edges,poses significant challenges for analyzing network topology.In recent years,various statistical algorithms have been developed to address this issue.However,there remains a lack of a unified framework to uncover the nontrivial properties inherent in signed network structures.To support developers,researchers,and practitioners in this field,we introduce a Python library named SNSAlib(Signed Network Structure Analysis),specifically designed to meet these analytical requirements.This library encompasses empirical signed network datasets,signed null model algorithms,signed statistics algorithms,and evaluation indicators.The primary objective of SNSAlib is to facilitate the systematic analysis of micro-and meso-structure features within signed networks,including node popularity,clustering,assortativity,embeddedness,and community structure by employing more accurate signed null models.Ultimately,it provides a robust paradigm for structure analysis of signed networks that enhances our understanding and application of signed networks.展开更多

To take into account the influence of uncetainties on the dynamic response of the vibro-acousitc structure, a hybrid modeling technique combining the finite element method(FE)and the statistic energy analysis(SEA)...To take into account the influence of uncetainties on the dynamic response of the vibro-acousitc structure, a hybrid modeling technique combining the finite element method(FE)and the statistic energy analysis(SEA) is proposed to analyze vibro-acoustics responses with uncertainties at middle frequencies. The mid-frequency dynamic response of the framework-plate structure with uncertainties is studied based on the hybrid FE-SEA method and the Monte Carlo(MC)simulation is performed so as to provide a benchmark comparison with the hybrid method. The energy response of the framework-plate structure matches well with the MC simulation results, which validates the effectiveness of the hybrid FE-SEA method considering both the complexity of the vibro-acoustic structure and the uncertainties in mid-frequency vibro-acousitc analysis. Based on the hybrid method, a vibroacoustic model of a construction machinery cab with random properties is established, and the excitations of the model are measured by experiments. The responses of the sound pressure level of the cab and the vibration power spectrum density of the front windscreen are calculated and compared with those of the experiment. At middle frequencies, the results have a good consistency with the tests and the prediction error is less than 3. 5dB.展开更多

In this paper, the statistic characteristics of PDA signal related to irregular particles is analyzed and a method of statistic classification of irregular particles is proposed.It proves that the parameter of PDA signal for irregular particles is an unbiased estimation for spherical ones, the mean of the phase difference is in direct proportion to the mean diameter of particles and the standard deviation of the phase difference increases linearly with the standard deviation of irregular particles. As an application of the identification of irregular objects, fuzzy patterns and similarities of haemocytes are used to recognize and quantify cell samples.The statistic classification of particles is more significant in practice.展开更多

By terms of the practice project analysis, the horizontal section height increases with the increase of dip angle β and thickness of coal seam M. Dip angle of coal seam β has tremendous impact on horizontal section height, while thickness of coal seam M has slight impact. When thickness of coal seam is below 10m, horizontal section height increases sharply. While thickness exceeds 15m, it is not major factor influencing on horizontal section height any long.展开更多
目的分解单通道表面肌电信号(surface electromyography,sEMG),获得组成肌电信号的运动单元动作电位(motor unit action potential,MUAP)的波形及发放频率。方法首先对单通道的sEMG信号进行候选MUAP信号段检测,然后使用基于模糊K-均值...目的分解单通道表面肌电信号(surface electromyography,sEMG),获得组成肌电信号的运动单元动作电位(motor unit action potential,MUAP)的波形及发放频率。方法首先对单通道的sEMG信号进行候选MUAP信号段检测,然后使用基于模糊K-均值聚类的Gap Statistic聚类分析处理获取参与肌肉活动的运动单元发放的模板MUAP,最后使用广义互相关求时延的方法完成对低收缩水平的表面肌电信号的分解,并获得所有模板MUAP的发放频率。结果对模拟的单通道表面肌电信号进行分解,MUAP的准确识别率可达80%以上;并对真实采集的低收缩水平的等长收缩表面肌电信号进行分解,得到了MUAP波形和发放信息。结论本文提出的方法能够有效的对单通道表面肌电信号进行分解,具有较好的分解效果。展开更多
A group of statistical algorithms are proposed for the inversion of the three major components of CaseII waters inthe coastal area of the Huanghai Sea and the East China Sea. The algorithms are based on the in situ da...A group of statistical algorithms are proposed for the inversion of the three major components of CaseII waters inthe coastal area of the Huanghai Sea and the East China Sea. The algorithms are based on the in situ data collected inthe spring of 2003 with strict quality assurance according to NASA ocean bio-optic protocols. These algorithms arethe first ones with quantitative confidence that can be applied for the area. The average relative error of the inversedand in situ measured components' concentrations are: Chl-a about 37%, total suspended matter (TSM) about 25%,respectively. This preliminary result is quite satisfactory for CaseII waters, although some aspects in the modelneed further study. The sensitivity of the input error of 5% to remote sensing reflectance (Rrs) is also analyzed andit shows the algorithms are quite stable. The algorithms show a large difference with Tassans local SeaWiFSalgorithms for different waters, except for the Chl-a algorithm.展开更多

The failure criterion of rocks is a critical factor involved in reliability design and stability analysis of geotechnical engineering.In order to accurately evaluate the triaxial compressive strength of rocks under di...The failure criterion of rocks is a critical factor involved in reliability design and stability analysis of geotechnical engineering.In order to accurately evaluate the triaxial compressive strength of rocks under different confining pressures,a nonlinear empirical strength criterion based on Mohr-Coulomb criterion was proposed in this paper.Through the analysis of triaxial test strength of 11 types of rock materials,the feasibility and validity of proposed criterion was discussed.For a further verification,six typical strength criteria were selected,and the prediction results of each criterion and test results were statistically analyzed.The comparative comparison results show that the prediction results obtained by applying this new criterion to 97 conventional triaxial compression tests of 11 different rock materials are highly consistent with the experimental data.Statistical analysis was executed to assess the application of the new criterion and other classical criteria in predicting the failure behavior of rock.This proposed empirical criterion provides a new reference and method for the determination of triaxial compressive strength of rock materials.展开更多

Methods Wavelet analysis was used to decompose the temporal trends of birth defect prevalence based on the birth defect rates over the past 16 years. Birth defect cases with detailed personal and family information were geo-coded and the relative risk in each village was calculated. General G statistic was used to test the spatial property with different scales. Results Wavelet analysis showed an increasing temporal trend of birth defects in this region. Clustering analysis revealed that changes continued in the spatial patterns with different scales. Conclusion Wuxi is confronted with severe challenges to reduce birth defect prevalence. The risk factors are stable and show no change with spatial scale but an increasing temporal trend. Interventions should be focused on villages with a higher prevalence of birth defects.展开更多

A method of symmetrical sampling of basic random variables adopted by classical response surface method was mended, and peak value and deflection degree of basic random variables distribution curve were took into account in the mended sampling method. A calculation way of probability moment, based on mended Rosenbluth method, suitable for non-explicit performance function was put forward. The first, second, third and fourth order moments of functional function value were calculated by mended Rosenbluth method through the first, second, third and fourth order moments of basic random variable. A probability density the function(PDF) of functional function was deduced through its first, second, third and fourth moments, the PDF in the new method took the place of the method of quadratic polynomial to approximate real functional function and reliability probability was calculated through integral by the PDF for random variable of functional function value in the new method. The result shows that the improved response surface method can adapt to various statistic distribution types of basic random variables, its calculation process is legible and need not itemtive circulation. In addition, a stability probability of surrounding rock for a tunnel was calculated by the improved method, whose workload is only 30% of classical method and its accuracy is comparative.展开更多
Through quantitative statistics and morphological characterization of ceramic fragments for ceramic composite bulletproof insert plates(CCBIPs),distribution characteristics of ceramic fragments within a specific size ...Through quantitative statistics and morphological characterization of ceramic fragments for ceramic composite bulletproof insert plates(CCBIPs),distribution characteristics of ceramic fragments within a specific size range were analyzed for different Armor Piercing Incendiary(API)and shot times.To quantitatively evaluate the effect of energy absorption for ceramic plates,a model of energy absorption during penetration for CCBIPs was established based on statistics of the size distribution of ceramic fragments(SDCF).Variation in the SDCF and its influence on energy absorption for CCBIPs were investigated.The results indicate that the distribution feature of ceramic fragments in the range of 0.25-2.25 mm is Gaussian distribution.Compared with Type 56 of API(56-API),ceramic fragments formed by 53-API with higher kinetic energy possess more quantity and more concentrated distribution,whose average equivalence size decreases by 6.5%,corresponding to increasing by 83.9%of estimated energy absorption.Besides,the ability of CCBIPs to resist the third shot is significantly weakened,whose estimated energy absorption decreases by 58.8%compared with the first shot.More concentrated distribution and fewer fragments are formed after the third shot,the average equivalence size of ceramic fragments increases by 6.9%,which may attribute to the micro-cracks induced by the previous two shots.展开更多
