A Model of the Fatigue Life Distribution of Composite Laminates Based on Their Static Strength Distribution 被引量:7

The reasons of the static strength dispersion and the fatigue life dispersion of composite laminates are analyzed in this article. It is concluded that the inner original defects, which derived from the manufacturing process of composite laminates, are the common and major reason of causing the random distributions of the static strength and the fatigue life. And there is a correlative relation between the two distributions. With the study of statistical relationship between the fatigue loading and the fatigue life in the uniform confidence level and the same survival rate S-N curves of material, the relationship between the static strength distribution and the fatigue life distribution through a material S-N curve model has been obtained. And then the model which is used to describe the distributions of fatigue life of composites, based on their distributions of static strength, is set up. This model reasonably reflects the effects of the inner original defects on the static strength dispersion and on the fatigue life dispersion of composite laminates. The experimental data of three kinds of composite laminates are employed to verify this model, and the results show that this model can predict the random distributions of fatigue life for composites under any fatigue loads fairly well. 展开更多

The regression formula for the effective length of the chord based on test results is established by means of the least square method. The results computed by the present semi-analytic formula are compared with previous results and test data. They are quite close to each other. We study the strength and texture of tantalum (Ta) under uniaxiM compression up to 80 GPa using an angle-dispersive radial x-ray diffraction technique together with the lattice strain theory in a diamond anvil cell at ambient temperature. The ratio of differential stress to shear modulus (t/G) is found to remain constant above -60GPa, indicating that the Ta starts to experience macro yield with plastic deformation at this pressure.Combined with independent constraints on the high-pressure shear modulus, we find that the Ta sample could support a differential stress of -4.67 GPa when it starts to yield with plastic deformation at -60 CPa under unlaxial compression. The differential stress in Ta ranges from 0.216 GPa to 4.67CPa with pressure increasing from 1 GPa to 60GPa and can be expressed as t=0.199(33)+0.075(1)P, where P is the pressure in GPa. A maximum differential stress as high as -5.37 GPa can be supported by Ta at the high pressure of -80 GPa. In addition, we investigate the texture of Ta under nonhydrostatic compression to 80 GPa using the software package material analysis using diffraction. It is proven that the plastic deformation due to stress under high pressures is responsible for the development of texture. 展开更多

But there is still absence of rigorous theory to explain available experimental data and empirical criteria for the static strength of tubular joints. The idea of yield at hot spot of tubular joints is introduced in this paper. The interaction equations of plastic capacity for the tubular joints under combined loads (two and three different kinds) are derived. Thereafter the Yura's test data and empirical criteria of ultimate static strength for the tubular joints can be explained. The idea of classification of category of loads in accordance with experimental data and the present theory is suggested. Finally, the improved ultimate capacity equations for tubular joints are recommended. The physical significance of the coefficient of plastic reservation Qp is discussed. 展开更多

The cowcatcher is one of the unique devices at the front end of the train, which can remove obstacles on the track by crashing before the vehicle body to ensure the safety of the train. When a collision accident happens, the cowcatcher serves as the first energy-absorbing structure to dissipate and guide the collision energy. The design of the existing cowcatcher of multiple units generally focuses on the good ability to remove obstacles, while the secondary function, the crashworthiness of orderly deformation under collision, still needs further research. In this study, a finite element model of structural static load and collision analysis was established under standard EN 15227, with the cowcatcher for 160 km/h train as the prototype. Then the solution and simulation process was accomplished under the environment of ANSYS and LS-DYNA. The analysis results showed that the structural static strength of the current cowcatcher met the requirements of the standard EN 15227, and the longitudinal stiffness was evenly distributed. When removing the obstacles with low mass, the impact force was small and the structure would not produce obvious deformation;when removing the obstacles with large mass, the impact force was large and the shear fracture might occur at the connection of the cowcatcher. 展开更多

The effect of hot-humid exposure(i.e., 40 C and 98% R.H.) on the quasi-static strength of the adhesive-bonded aluminum alloys was studied. Test results show that the hot-humid exposure leads to the significant decrease in the joint strength and the change of the failure mode from a mixed cohesive and adhesive failure with cohesive failure being dominant to adhesive failure being dominant. Careful analyses of the results reveal that the physical bond is likely responsible for the bond adhesion between L adhesive and aluminum substrates. The reduction in joint strength and the change of the failure mode resulted from the degradation in bond adhesion, which was primarily attributed to the corrosion of aluminum substrate. In addition, the elevated temperature exposure significantly accelerated the corrosion reaction of aluminum, which accelerated the degradation in joint strength. 展开更多

型钢-UHPC组合梁抗弯性能研究

针对钢梁高度占比对型钢-UHPC组合梁抗弯性能的影响,设计制作3个不同钢梁高度的组合梁,并采用四点加载方式完成抗弯性能测试.试验结果表明:所有试件均发生弯曲破坏,破坏特征表现为钢梁全截面屈服,UHPC顶板压溃;当钢梁高度占比由0.243提... 针对钢梁高度占比对型钢-UHPC组合梁抗弯性能的影响,设计制作3个不同钢梁高度的组合梁,并采用四点加载方式完成抗弯性能测试.试验结果表明:所有试件均发生弯曲破坏,破坏特征表现为钢梁全截面屈服,UHPC顶板压溃;当钢梁高度占比由0.243提升至0.5时,组合梁的极限抗弯承载力提升了48.11%.此外,钢梁高度占比的增大可增强组合梁抗裂性能,具体体现为初裂荷载提高、最大裂缝宽度减小;与此同时,组合梁界面相对滑移增加了31.3%.基于弹塑性计算理论,提出利用截面内力计算模型,用于预测型钢-UHPC组合梁抗弯承载力,该模型计算所得的组合梁初裂荷载、屈服荷载及极限荷载与试验结果基本吻合,验证了分析模型是可靠的. 展开更多

The hoist bracket links the rescue hoist with the helicopter cabin, and its structure design greatly affects the operation convenience and safety of the hoistman and lifeguard in the rescue process with a helicopter.This paper firstly builds the force model of the hoist and bracket, and gives five kinds of typical working conditions as the design ones of the bracket. Then this paper puts forward a design process of the hoist bracket based on the topology optimization and strength analysis with the 3D modeling and finite element analysis. This design process can make the bracket's structure lightweight by achieving the optimal material layout under the conditions of maximizing the static stiffness or minimizing the compliance of the bracket. And this improves the dynamic performance of the helicopter, and reduces the fuel consumption and cost under the strength constraints. Finally,taking the design of the hoist bracket used in a rescue helicopter as an example, this paper illustrates the proposed model and method. The analysis results show that the mass of the hoist bracket decreases by 12.5% while the static stiffness of the hoist bracket is achieved. The optimization design results meet the strength requirements of the hoist. 展开更多

The finite-element method is a useful tool for studying this problem. The aim of this paper is to study the static strength of doubler plate reinforced Y-joints subjected to compression loading. The finite-element method is adopted in numerical parametric studies. The individual influences of the geometric parameters βand τd (doubler plate to chord wall thickness ratio) and ld/d1(dubler plate length to brace diameter ratio) on the ultimate strength are made clear. The results show the size of plate may have important effects on the strength of reinforced joints. It is found that the ultimate strength of Y-joints reinforced with appropriately proportioned doubler plates can be greatly improved nearly up tothree times to un-reinforced Y-joints. 展开更多

为促进可恢复性结构发展,推动低粘结高强钢筋—高强钢棒在建筑结构中的应用,提出了一种以高强钢棒作为暗柱纵筋的混凝土短肢剪力墙。设计并完成了4片剪跨比为2的1/3缩尺短肢剪力墙的拟静力试验,对比分析了暗柱纵筋类型、轴压比和碳纤维... 为促进可恢复性结构发展,推动低粘结高强钢筋—高强钢棒在建筑结构中的应用,提出了一种以高强钢棒作为暗柱纵筋的混凝土短肢剪力墙。设计并完成了4片剪跨比为2的1/3缩尺短肢剪力墙的拟静力试验,对比分析了暗柱纵筋类型、轴压比和碳纤维布约束塑性铰区等参数对混凝土短肢剪力墙抗震性能的影响,并着重探讨了试件的承载能力和变形能力。结果表明:高强钢棒作为混凝土短肢剪力墙的暗柱纵筋,可实现混凝土短肢剪力墙在大变形下承载力随着侧向位移的增加而提高,且具有较小的残余变形,破坏形态均以弯曲破坏为主;在高轴压比作用下,碳纤维布约束塑性铰区可提高采用高强钢棒的混凝土短肢剪力墙的承载能力。基于NewRC模型计算的采用高强钢棒的钢筋混凝土短肢剪力墙抗弯承载力与试验结果吻合较好。各试件塑性铰区的弯曲变形与整体变形的比值基本保持恒定不变。 展开更多

碳纤维增强复合材料(CFRP)在加工过程中极易产生热损伤、毛刺、撕裂、分层等缺陷,严重制约了其广泛应用。为提高CFRP的加工质量,通过实验研究了激光、水射流辅助激光、铣削和钻孔4种加工方式对CFRP孔质量与抗拉特性的影响,在疲劳试验机... 碳纤维增强复合材料(CFRP)在加工过程中极易产生热损伤、毛刺、撕裂、分层等缺陷,严重制约了其广泛应用。为提高CFRP的加工质量,通过实验研究了激光、水射流辅助激光、铣削和钻孔4种加工方式对CFRP孔质量与抗拉特性的影响,在疲劳试验机上对加工后的CFRP进行了静态拉伸试验,并利用扫描电子显微镜对CFRP试样拉断前后形貌进行了分析。通过比较CFRP加工后的宏微观形貌特征可知,激光和水射流辅助激光加工均会在孔周围产生热解产物,但后者的热解产物少于前者;铣削和钻削试样虽然没有产生明显的热解产物,但撕裂和毛刺较为严重。对比拉断后的宏微观形貌可知,激光和水射流辅助激光加工试样分层十分严重,铣削和钻削加工试样撕裂现象更加严重。静态拉伸结果表明,水射流辅助激光加工试样抗拉强度为560.5 MPa,比钻削加工试样高2.8%,比铣削加工试样高4.4%,比激光加工试样高6.1%。因此,对比其他3种加工方法可知,水射流辅助激光可有效减小激光加工产生的热损伤,并可显著减少铣削和钻孔产生的撕裂和毛刺等缺陷,同时试件具有较大的抗拉强度。 展开更多

基于连镇铁路工程项目,开展2根直径为1000 mm、长度为44.5 m的组合后压浆桩现场试验,分析组合后压浆桩的承载变形特性和荷载传递规律,并与同一工程中不同地点开展的3根直径为1000 mm、长度为45 m的劲性复合桩进行对比分析,研究了两种桩... 基于连镇铁路工程项目,开展2根直径为1000 mm、长度为44.5 m的组合后压浆桩现场试验,分析组合后压浆桩的承载变形特性和荷载传递规律,并与同一工程中不同地点开展的3根直径为1000 mm、长度为45 m的劲性复合桩进行对比分析,研究了两种桩型承载力提升效果和承载机制的差异。结果表明:与未压浆桩相比,组合后压浆桩桩端阻力和桩侧摩阻力大幅度提高,桩端阻力提高明显,但未改变其承载类型,各土层桩侧摩阻力提高了1.91倍~2.12倍,极限承载力提高了2.01倍~2.23倍,表明组合后压浆桩能表现出更高的承载能力;在桩顶沉降同为40 mm时,后压浆桩相对于劲性复合桩承载力提高了31.1%~36.2%,可以看出组合后压浆桩承载力增幅效果明显优于劲性复合桩;两种桩型都是通过水泥浆液或水泥土增强桩周土体,以此来改善桩土作用力,形成新的桩-加固体-土体结构,劲性复合桩通过水泥土改善桩-土接触特性,以剪应力的形式传递上部荷载,而后压浆桩同时对桩端、桩侧进行多层加固,桩端阻力先发挥作用,通过桩身沉降使桩侧摩阻力发挥作用,形成了更加稳定的桩土结构和荷载传递体系,进而更加有效地提高桩基承载力。 展开更多

标准市域列车车体技术条件研究
