With the continuous promotion of the Belt and Road initiative,the sporting goods manufacturing industry,as a key sector of Chinese enterprises’“going global”strategy,is actively expanding the markets of countries a...With the continuous promotion of the Belt and Road initiative,the sporting goods manufacturing industry,as a key sector of Chinese enterprises’“going global”strategy,is actively expanding the markets of countries along the Belt and Road.However,there are significant differences in political,economic,and social environments among countries along the Belt and Road,which bring considerable uncertainties to the transnational investment of enterprises.Based on the investment environment of 70 countries along the Belt and Road,this paper constructs a risk evaluation index system including five dimensions:political and legal,economic and financial,socio-cultural,investment environment,and bilateral relations.The Criteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation(CRITIC)method is used to determine weight,Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)method is employed to evaluate the investment risks of each country.Furthermore,cluster analysis is used to classify the countries into low,medium,and high-risk levels.Finally,policy recommendations are proposed based on the characteristics of countries with different risk levels,providing decision-making references for sporting goods manufacturing enterprises in selecting suitable countries for investment,enhancing risk prevention capabilities,and improving investment success rates.展开更多

Mediatic sporting events are increasingly used in the geopolitical arena to gain consensus, at the same time emerging as platforms for the discussion of social issues, such as human rights and sustainability. This art...Mediatic sporting events are increasingly used in the geopolitical arena to gain consensus, at the same time emerging as platforms for the discussion of social issues, such as human rights and sustainability. This article presents an investigation into the role of mediatic sporting events and digital platforms in sparking political debate and social engagement to bring about change, including discussions on global and local interests and the performances of activist fans to promote debate on specific issues. The investigation employs a quantitative methodology. The initial inductive analysis uses a matrix of cultural key-frames of the empowerment and protest that accompany media sporting events, verifying their presence and effectiveness in different communication milieus. An analysis of the representation of protests on social media was performed through content analysis. The results of the investigation show that mediatic sporting events are to be understood as a diverse range of generators of multiple political effects: from the exercise of power to mass mobilization and media criticism.展开更多

In order to contribute to the improvemen...The Cameroonian flora has a very high biodiversity that remains largely unexplored. It contains many grasses that can be used for sports lawns, but are currently underutilized. In order to contribute to the improvement of the quality of sports lawns, nine local grass taxa from the agro-ecological zone with bimodal rainfall in Cameroon were evaluated for their potential for sporting use in natural lawns. The method of the Study and Control Group for Varieties and Seeds was used to evaluate the sports lawn characteristics of the taxa. The resistance to trampling and pulling, the density of the lawn, and the aesthetic appearance, which are factors in calculating the sports index, were monitored at two sites, including the experimental space at the University of Yaounde 1 in the Center region and Kagnol 2 in the East region, from January 2017 to January 2020. The monthly lawn characteristic data allowed for the differentiation between the means and the determination of the sports index of the taxa compared to commercialized lawn varieties. The sports index of the evaluated taxa varied: Cynodon dactylon (6.989), Eleusine indica (6.338), Sporobolus natalensis (6.301), Cynodon cf Cynodon dactylon (6.257), Eragrostis tremula (5.939), Sporobolus pyramidalis (5.583), Agrostis rupestris (5.335), Axonopus compressus (4.991), and Digitaria sp. (4.544). These results show that these grass taxa have potential for sporting use in lawn mixtures at different levels of sports disciplines.展开更多

Diabetes mellitus(DM)has become one of the most serious and common chronic diseases around the world,leading to various complications and a reduction in life expectancy.Increased sedentary behavior(SB)and decreased ph...Diabetes mellitus(DM)has become one of the most serious and common chronic diseases around the world,leading to various complications and a reduction in life expectancy.Increased sedentary behavior(SB)and decreased physical activity(PA)are important contributors to the rising prevalence of DM.This article reviews the research progress on the pathogenesis of DM,the effects of SB and PA on the risk of DM,aiming to explore the influence of different PA intensities,amounts,frequencies,durations and types on the incidence of DM.Research has shown that blood glucose levels tend to increase with the prolongation of SB.Within a certain range,PA intensity and PA amount are negatively correlated with the risk of DM;Performing PA for more than 3 days per week maintains normal glucose tolerance and lower blood pressure;Engaging in 150–300 min of moderate intensity exercise or 75–150 min of high-intensity exercise per week reduces the risk of DM;PA during leisure time reduces the risk of DM,while PA during work increases the risk of DM;Both aerobic training and resistance training reduce the risk of DM,and the combination of the two training methods produces better benefits;Various types of exercises,such as cycling,soccer,aerobics,yoga,tai chi,all reduce the risk of DM.In summary,prolonged SB increases the risk of DM,while appropriate PA reduces the risk of DM.As the intensity,amount,and frequency of PA increase,the effect of reducing DM risk becomes more significant.Different exercise methods have different effects on reducing DM risk.展开更多
