For this reason, a software and hardware implementation schematic design based on ARM ( Advanced RISC Machines) + DSP ( Digital Signal Processor) architecture for gamma energy spectrum data acquisition and processing system is proposed. The paper discusses in detail some key technologies such as communication interface design between microcontroller ARM and digital signal processor DSP,distribution scheduling under multi-task in the ARM-Linux,DSP handling procedures for multi-channel A / D high-speed sample. At the same time,because the traditional Gaussian fitting to determine the boundary of peak is not ideal,it puts forward a weighting factor of Gaussian function least squares fitting realize boundary determined. Finally gamma-spectrum data from sodium iodide NaI( TI) scintillation detector is tested and processed in the new system. The results show that gamma energy spectrum data acquisition and process system is perfect functionality, stable and convergence in unimodal. Compared with data from conventional energy spectrometers,the system can keep better energy resolution in a wide range of pulse pass rate.展开更多

Size-spectrum models are one type of physiologically-structured eco...Multispecies ecological models have been used for predicting the effects of fishing activity and evaluating the performance of management strategies. Size-spectrum models are one type of physiologically-structured ecological model that provide a feasible approach to describing fish communities in terms of individual dietary variation and ontogenetic niche shift. Despite the potential of ecological models in improving our understanding of ecosystems, their application is usually limited for data-poor fisheries. As a first step in implementing ecosystem-based fisheries management（EBFM）, this study built a size-spectrum model for the fish community in the Haizhou Bay, China. We describe data collection procedures and model parameterization to facilitate the implementation of such size-spectrum models for future studies of data-poor ecosystems. The effects of fishing on the ecosystem were exemplified with a range of fishing effort and were monitored with a set of ecological indicators. Total community biomass, biodiversity index, W-statistic, LFI（Large fish index）, Mean W（mean body weight） and Slope（slope of community size spectra） showed a strong non-linear pattern in response to fishing pressure, and largest fishing effort did not generate the most drastic responses in certain scenarios. We emphasize the value and feasibility of developing size-spectrum models to capture ecological dynamics and suggest limitations as well as potential for model improvement. This study aims to promote a wide use of this type of model in support of EBFM.展开更多
Cooperative spectrum monitoring with multiple sensors has been deemed as an efficient mechanism for improving the monitoring accuracy and enlarging the monitoring area in wireless sensor networks.However,there exists ...Cooperative spectrum monitoring with multiple sensors has been deemed as an efficient mechanism for improving the monitoring accuracy and enlarging the monitoring area in wireless sensor networks.However,there exists redundancy among the spectrum data collected by a sensor node within a data collection period,which may reduce the data uploading efficiency.In this paper,we investigate the inter-data commonality detection which describes how much two data have in common.We define common segment set and divide it into six categories firstly,then a method to measure a common segment set is conducted by extracting commonality between two files.Moreover,the existing algorithms fail in finding a good common segment set,so Common Data Measurement(CDM)algorithm that can identify a good common segment set based on inter-data commonality detection is proposed.Theoretical analysis proves that CDM algorithm achieves a good measurement for the commonality between two strings.In addition,we conduct an synthetic dataset which are produced randomly.Numerical results shows that CDM algorithm can get better performance in measuring commonality between two binary files compared with Greedy-String-Tiling(GST)algorithm and simple greedy algorithm.展开更多

Based on the improved SSA iterative interpolation, interpolated test and comparative analysis are carried out to the outgoing longwave radiation daily data. The results show that IQA can find globally optimal parameters to the error curve with local oscillation, and has advantage of fast computing speed. The improved interpolation method is effective in the interpolation of missing data.展开更多

For statistical fluctuation of radioactivity under complex environment, some smoothing filtering methods are proposed to solve the problem. These methods include adopting method of arithmetic moving average, center of gravity, least squares of polynomial, slide converter of discrete funcion convolution etc. The process of spectrum data is realized, and the results are assessed in H/FWHM（ Peak High/Full Width at Half Maximum） and peak area based on the Matlab programming. The results indicate that different methods smoothed spectrum have respective superiority in different ergoregion, but the Gaussian function theory in discrete function convolution slide method is used to filter the complex y-spectrum on Embedded system nlatform, and the statistical fluctuation of y-snectrum filtered wall.展开更多

A new target-tracking algorithm is presented which adopts the amplitude of frequency spectrum to improve target tracking in clutter. The prohabilisfic density distribution of frequency spectrum amplitude is analyzed. By simulation, the results show that the algorithm is superior to PDA. In this paper, a new fully-distributed collaborative energy detection algorithm based on diffusion cooperation scheme and consensus filtering theory is proposed, which doesn’t need the center node to fuse the detection results of all users. The secondary users only exchange information with their neighbors to obtain the detection data, and then make the corresponding decisions independently according to the pre-defined threshold. Simulations show that the proposed algorithm is more superior to the existing centralized collaborative energy detection algorithm in terms of the detecting performance and robustness in the insecurity situation.展开更多

Leakage neutron spectra from the irradiated tungsten target were measured by the t...Integral experiments on tungsten slab samples were carried out on the D-T neutron source facility at China Institute of Atomic Energy. Leakage neutron spectra from the irradiated tungsten target were measured by the time-of-flight technique. Accuracy of the nuclear data for tungsten was examined by comparing the measured neutron spectra with the leakage neutron spectra simulated using the MCNP-4C code with evaluated nuclear data of the JEFF-3.2, FENDL-3.0 and TENDL-2014 libraries. The results show that the calculations with JEFF-3.2 agree well with the measurements in the whole energy range and all angles, whereas the spectra calculated with FENDL-3.0 and TENDL-2014 have some discrepancies with the experimental data.展开更多

We are not just satisfied with analyzing what kinds of eleme...With the development of Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy （LIBS）, increasing numbers of researchers have begun to focus on problems of the application. We are not just satisfied with analyzing what kinds of elements are in the samples but are also eager to accomplish quantitative detection with LIBS. There are several means to improve the limit of detection and stability, which are important to quantitative detection, especially of trace elements, increasing the laser energy and the resolution of spectrometer, using dual pulse setup, vacuuming the ablation environment etc. All of these methods are about to update the hardware system, which is effective but expensive. So we establish the following spectrum data processing methods to improve the trace elements analysis in this paper： spectrum sifting, noise filtering, and peak fitting. There are small algorithms in these three method groups, which we will introduce in detail. Finally, we discuss how these methods affect the results of trace elements detection in an experiment to analyze the lead content in Chinese cabbage.展开更多
