The Moon has been divided into three terranes:Procellarum KREEP Terrane(PKT),Feldspathic Highland Terrane(FHT),and South Pole-Aitken Terrane(SPAT),using globally measured Th and FeO.Many lunar evolu-tion models have p...The Moon has been divided into three terranes:Procellarum KREEP Terrane(PKT),Feldspathic Highland Terrane(FHT),and South Pole-Aitken Terrane(SPAT),using globally measured Th and FeO.Many lunar evolu-tion models have predicted that a lunar magma ocean will produce a residual layer enriched in incompatible elements such as K,REE,and P(i.e.,KREEP)in the late age of crys-tallization;and that the distribution of thorium can be used as a proxy for determining the global distribution of KREEP.The thorium distribution in these three terranes is inhomo-geneous.The highest concentration of thorium is in PKT,the medium concentration of thorium is in SPAT,and almost none in FHT.Then what is the specific distribution in each of the terrane and what enlightenment can it tell us?Here we present and describe the detailed thorium distribution in PKT,SPAT,and FHT and provide some information for the origin of asymmetries on the lunar surface.展开更多

This study investigated oyster cultures at two locations along the coast of Taisi Township from March 2012 to July 2014. The ave...The Portuguese oyster (Crassostrea angulata) is an important fishery resource in Taiwan. This study investigated oyster cultures at two locations along the coast of Taisi Township from March 2012 to July 2014. The average recruitment density, measured once every two weeks, of the oyster larvae was 256.4 ± 236.6 individuals/shell (N = 62) at site A and 118.5 ± 140.2 individuals/shell (N = 39) at site B. The average adherence density of the barnacle larvae was 187.1 ± 251.2 individuals/shell (N = 60) at site A and 60.9 ± 112.5 individuals/shell (N = 37) at site B. In Taiwan, C. angulata?spawned all year. The primary spawning season was from March to September. The primary of adherence spawning season of barnacles was from March to October. Rainfall was the major factor that influenced oyster C. angulata?and barnacle settlement, the eigenvalue of PC1 was 1.83 and could explain 61.0%. There are two main culturing seasons that move oyster larvae from coast of Taisi to farms in other places: from March to May and from August to September. Although the oyster larvae are more abundant in spring, fishermen prefer harvesting the larvae in autumn to avoid the typhoon season (July-September).展开更多

Accor...This paper is to examine the urban and rural construction land data of Dafang between basic year and final year based on country scale and spatial econometrics,and analyze its spatial pattern and change feature. According to the results,the construction lands in all the villages of Dafang County showed strong spatial autocorrelation and significant spatial cluster. After the analysis of local Moran's I,the construction lands in 381 villages of 36 counties presented strong activity. The original small-scale villages were gradually enlarging,which will not only gradually benefit local development,but also be in accordance with the strategy of " one city,one district,eight parks".展开更多

This paper presents an optimized equivalent consumption minimization strategy(ECMS) for four-wheel-drive(4 WD) hybrid electric vehicles(HEVs) incorporating vehicle connectivity. In order to be applicable to the 4 WD a...This paper presents an optimized equivalent consumption minimization strategy(ECMS) for four-wheel-drive(4 WD) hybrid electric vehicles(HEVs) incorporating vehicle connectivity. In order to be applicable to the 4 WD architecture, the ECMS is designed based on a rule-based strategy and used under the condition that a certain propulsion mode is activated. Assuming that a group of 4 WD HEVs are connected and position information can be shared with each other, we formulate a decentralized model predictive control(MPC) framework that compromises fuel efficiency, mobility, and inter-vehicle distance to optimize the velocity profile of each individual vehicle. Based on the optimized velocity profile, an optimization problem considering both fuel economy and battery state of charge(SOC) sustainability is formulated to optimize the equivalent factors(EFs) of the ECMS for HEVs over an appropriate time window. MATLAB User Datagram Protocol(UDP) is used in the codes run on multiple computers to simulate the wireless communication among vehicles, which share position information via UDP-based communication, and dSPACE is used as a software-in-the-loop platform for the simulation of the optimized ECMS. Simulation results validate the control effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多
