Due to its unique layered structure and excellent electrochemical properties,molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))demonstrates significant potential for applications in the energy storage field,particularly in supercapacitors.It is widely regarded as one of the most representative transition metal dichalcogenides.MoS_(2)possesses a high theoretical specific capacitance,abundant edge active sites,and favorable tunability and structural diversity,which provide it with a distinct advantage in the construction of advanced electrode structures.Additionally,the anisotropic characteristics of MoS_(2)concerning electron and ion transport offer more dimensions for regulating its electrochemical behavior.This work will systematically review various synthesis strategies for MoS_(2)and its recent advancements in energy storage,with a particular focus on the mechanisms by which interlayer spacing modulation affects energy storage behavior in supercapacitor configurations.The discussion will encompass a comprehensive logical framework that spans material structure modifications,electronic configuration evolution,and enhancements in macroscopic device performance.This review aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the application of MoS_(2)in the next generation of highperformance energy storage devices. 展开更多

Effect of Railway Spacing on Aerodynamic Performance of 600 km/h Maglev Trains Passing Each Other

High-speed maglev trains(HSMTs)can run at high running speeds due to their unique design.The pressure waves that these trains generate while passing each other are therefore very intense,and can even have safety implications.In order to reduce the transient impact of such waves,the standard k-ε turbulence model is used in this work to assess the effect of railway spacing on the aerodynamic loads,pressure and surrounding flow field of 600 km/h maglev trains passing each other in open air.The sliding mesh technique is used to determine the relative motion between the considered trains.The results show that the surface pressure is approximately linearly correlated with the square of the speed while the amplitude of the pressure wave on the train surface,side force,and rolling moment all have negative exponential relationships with the railway spacing. 展开更多

Large-diameter drilling method is a prevalent method for preventing and controlling rock burst,and the spacing between the large-diameter drilling hole and anchoring hole is a critical factor influencing the roadway stability and relief effectiveness.In this study,a mechanical model for optimal matching between the large-diameter drilling hole and anchoring hole was established following the principle of synergistic control.The influence of large-diameter drilling hole diameter on the optimal spacing under the synergistic relief effect was investigated by integrating theoretical analysis,numerical simulation,and field practice.The results suggest that the hole spacing achieved a synergistic effect in a certain range when the optimal hole spacing increased linearly with the hole diameter.For instance,when the anchoring hole diameter was 20 mm,an increase in the aperture ratio from 5 to 10 brought about an increase in the optimal spacing from 0.25 m to 0.45 m.Additionally,the vertical stress between the large-diameter drilling hole and anchor hole increased nonlinearly under the condition of constant pore ratio but varying hole spacing.Both excessively small and excessively large hole spacings were detrimental to the pressure relief effect.In the engineering practice,optimizing the hole spacing from 0.55 m to 0.45 m in the 1208 working face contributed to reducing coal body drilling cuttings and the roadway moving quantity by 33%and 19.2%,respectively.This demonstrates that the pressure relief-support reinforcement synergistic effect should be fully considered in optimization design. 展开更多

Rationally design the morphology and structure of electroactive nanomaterials is an effective approach to enhance the performance of aqueous batteries.Herein,we co-engineered the hollow architecture and interlayer spacing of layered double hydroxides(LDH)to achieve high electrochemical activity.The hierarchical hollow LDH was prepared from bimetallic zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIF)by a facile cation exchange strategy.Zn and Cu elements were selected as the second metals incorporated in Co-ZIF.The characteristics of the corresponding derivatives were studied.Besides,the transformation mechanism of CoZn-ZIF into nanosheet-assembled hollow Co Zn Ni LDH(denoted as CoZnNi-OH)was systematically investigated.Importantly,the interlayer spacing of CoZnNi-OH expands due to Zn^(2+)incorporation.The prepared CoZnNi-OH offers large surface area,exposed active sites,and rapid mass transfer/diffusion rate,which lead to a significant enhancement in the specific capacitance,rate performance,and cycle stability of CoZnNi-OH electrode.In addition,the aqueous alkaline CoZnNi-OH//Zn showed a maximum energy density/power density of 0.924 m Wh/cm^(2),8.479 m W/cm^(2).This work not only raises an insightful strategy for regulating the morphology and interlayer spacing of LDH,but also provides a reference of designing hollow nickel-based nanomaterials for aqueous batteries. 展开更多

1T-MoS_(2)nanosheets,with metallic conductivity and high capacity,hold great potential for lithium-ion capacitors(LICs),but suffer from sluggish reaction kinetics due to dense stacking.Herein,1T-MoS_(2)nanosheets with... 1T-MoS_(2)nanosheets,with metallic conductivity and high capacity,hold great potential for lithium-ion capacitors(LICs),but suffer from sluggish reaction kinetics due to dense stacking.Herein,1T-MoS_(2)nanosheets with enlarged interlayer spacing,vertically bonded to reduced graphene oxide(rGO)(1T-MoS_(2)/rGO),were designed using a hydrothermal-assisted dispersion and intercalation strategy.The active nitrogen species derived from N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF)not only bridge the rGO and MoS_(2)through strong Mo-N-C bonds to promote the formation of dispersed MoS_(2)nanosheets,but also intercalate into the MoS_(2)structure,further enlarging the interlayer spacing.This unique structure synergistically enhances meso-and microscale mass transfer outside and inside of the few-layered nanosheets,significantly improving electrochemical reaction kinetics and reducing the kinetic mismatch between the anode and cathode.Consequently,the resulting 1T-MoS_(2)/rGO achieves a capacity of 500 mAh g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 5 A g^(-1)and a high rate performance of 587 mAh g^(-1)at a high rate of 10 A g^(-1).Moreover,the assembled 3D vertical 1T-MoS_(2)/rGO//AC LIC delivers a high energy density of 100.3 Wh kg^(-1)at a power density of1.0 kW kg^(-1),and long cycle stability with capacity retention as high as 91.02%after 5000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1).This work provides a generalizable strategy for engineering two-dimensional material-based electrodes,offering new insights into high-performance energy storage systems. 展开更多

Effect of Row Spacing Configuration Modes on Growth and Development of Xinluzao 63 and Amount of Residual Film in Agricultural Fields

[Objectives]To provide a reference for the promotion of appropriate row spacing configuration modes for cotton planting in the Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang.[Methods]Xinluzao 63 was employed as the research subject to examine the effects of three different configuration modes:three rows with one film,four rows with one film,and six rows with one film,on the growth and development of cotton,as well as on yield and the amount of residual film in the field.[Results]In comparison to the configuration modes of four rows with one film and six rows with one film,the development process in the row spacing configuration mode of three rows with one film was accelerated by 1-4 d.This configuration mode exhibited variability in several agronomic traits,particularly in plant height,the number of fruiting branches per plant,and the number of leaves per plant,with the observed trend indicating T3>T2>T1.Conversely,the height of the first fruiting branch node displayed an inverse trend.In terms of yield composition,no significant differences were observed in boll weight and yield among various configuration modes.However,T3 exhibited the highest boll weight at 5.68 g and a yield of 462.67 kg/667 m 2.Additionally,significant differences were noted in harvesting density and the number of bolls per plant.T3 demonstrated the lowest harvesting density at 1.11×104 plants/666.7 m 2,the highest number of bolls per plant at 8.63,and the highest boll opening rate at 97.48%.Furthermore,T3 also resulted in the least amount of agricultural film residue during the current season.[Conclusions]Among the three planting configuration modes examined,the low-density planting configuration mode consisting of three rows and one film demonstrated a significant advantage at the individual plant level.This approach yielded results comparable to those of the high density planting configuration mode while also reducing costs.Furthermore,low density planting positively influenced the cotton boll opening rate,leading to a decreased amount of residual film and promoting ecological health within the agricultural land. 展开更多

The efficiency of organic semiconductor photocatalysts is typically limited by their capability of photogenerated electron transport.Herein,a photocatalyst is proposed initially through the specific axial coordination interaction between imidazole-C_(60)(ImC_(60))and zinc tetraphenyl porphyrin(ZnTPP)named ImC_(60)-ZnTPP.Subsequently,detailed structural characterizations along with theoretical calculation reveal that the unique ImC_(60)-ZnTPP possesses head-to-tail stacking supra-structures,leading to the formation of a continuous array of C_(60)–C_(60) with ultrashort spacing and ensuring strongπ–πinteractions and homogeneous electronic coupling,which could tremendously promote electron transport along the(−111)crystal facet of ImC_(60)-ZnTPP.Consequently,compared to other fullerene-based photocatalysts,ImC_(60)-ZnTPP shows exceptional photocatalytic hydrogen production activity,with an efficiency of up to 80.95 mmol g^(-1) h^(-1).This study provides a novel strategy to design highly efficient fullerene-based photocatalytic systems for solar-driven energy conversion and extend their artificial photosynthetic use. 展开更多

The lamellar microstructure is one of the most typical microstructures of TiAl alloys.There are threeγ/γinterfaces with different microstructures in lamellarγ-TiAl alloys.In this work,we investigated the deformation processes of lamellarγ-TiAl alloys with different interfacial spacing(λ)via uniaxial tensile loading using molecular dynamics simulations,including true twin(TT),pseudo-twin(PT),rotational boundary(RB),and the mixed structure(TT∥PT∥RB).The results show that in all lamellarγ-TiAl samples,the Shockley partial dislocation prefers to nucleate in the region between two neighboring interfaces.Then,dislocations move towards,crossing theγ/γinterface.Finally,the dislocation slippage leads to the destruction of the interface,resulting in cracks and structural failure.With the decrease ofλ,the ultimate strength slightly increases in the TT or PT structure ofγ-TiAl,which follows the Hall-Petch relation.But in general,the interfacial spacing has a slight effect on the ultimate strengths of these four structures ofγ-TiAl. 展开更多

Primary dendrite arm spacing(PDAS) of α phase in directionally solidified Pb-26%Bi(mass fraction) hypo-peritectic alloys was measured by considering the effect of melt convection in cylindrical samples with different diameters.The experimental results show the measured PDAS increases with increasing diameter of the sample.At the growth velocity of 5 μm/s,its value changes from 161.5 μm for the sample with 1.8 mm in diameter to 240.4 μm for the sample with 7 mm in diameter.The strong melt convection in large diameter samples causes a high bulk alloy composition and a high concentration gradient in peritectic β phase,resulting in a larger PDAS.Simultaneously,the high concentration gradient could effectively promote the peritectic transformation,enhancing the dissolution of the thin α dendrite. 展开更多

[Objective] This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different plant spacing on tobacco grade structure, growth stages, agronomic traits, yield and chemical composition under fixed row spacing. [Method] Under fixed row spacing (120 cm), 4 treatments were designed (40, 50, 60 and 45 cm). The growth stages, agronomic traits, economic traits and chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco leaves were compared and analyzed. [Result] with the increase of plant spacing, there were no significant differences in the emergence time of growth stages be- tween different treatment groups before resettling stage, and the resettling stage ap- peared 1-2 d in advance. At different tobacco growth stages, the changing trends of tobacco agronomic traits with the change of plant spacing were different. [Conclusion] With the increase of plant spacing, the planting density of tobacco de- creased, and the nicotine content increased; and the yield of tobacco decreased continuously, while the quality was improved, but when the plant spacing was im- proved to certain degree, the quality of tobacco also decreased, and at the plant spacing of 50 cm, the output value of tobacco was the highest. 展开更多

Experimental studies are carried out at a low speed axial compressor with five different rotor/stator gaps. Analysis of the effect of axial spacing of two successive blade rows on the measured mean flow coefficient at stall inception and on the flow range of compressor under multi-cell rotating stall operating conditions proves that the stator can suppress the flow disturbance in the compressor and strengthen the stability of the compressor. Experimental data show that the stall flow coefficient decreases by reducing the axial spacing of successive blade rows. Moreover, by reducing the axial spacing, the stall pattern transition pace from multi-cell stall to single-cell stall can be shifted. And the compressor directly slips into single-cell stall at 21.0% CR axial spacing. By analyzing the pressure fluctuation closed to the surge line, it can be known that there exists an eigenfrequency where the amplitude of the oscillating pressure suddenly and dramatically increases as the compressor runs close to the surge line and this pressure disturbance is relevant to the compressor instability. 展开更多

The effects of rice transplanters' transplanting settings(plant spacing and finger sticking area) on rice yield were investigated in two early-season rice cultivars:hybrid rice cultivar(Zhuliangyou 819) and conventional rice cultivar(Zhongjiazao 17).The results showed that,different transplanting settings resulted in different numbers of transplanted basic seedlings,and the rice yield was significantly correlated with the number of transplanted basic seedlings.The number of transplanted basic seedlings increased with the decrease of plant spacing and the increase of finger sticking area.The rate of lost hills of machine transplanting decreased with the increase of finger sticking area.The leaf area index and amount of dry matter accumulation were highly correlated with the number of transplanted basic seedlings.The average yield of the rice transplanted with a plant spacing of11.5 cm was higher than that with a plant spacing of 13.8 cm.In the field transplanted with the rice under the plant spacing of 13.8 cm,the rice yield increased with the increase of finger sticking area,and the finger sticking area of 2.23 cm2 showed the highest rice yield of 8 174.16 kg/hm2 of Zhuliangyou 819 and 7 925.54kg/hm2 of Zhongjiaozao17.In the field transplanted with the rice under the plant spacing of 11.5 cm,the rice yield was the highest with the finger sticking area of 1.83 cm2,and then decreased with the large finger sticking area.Under the plant spacing of 11.5 cm,the highest rice yields of Zhuliangyou 819 and Zhongjiaozao17 were 8 492.94 kg/hm2 and 8 000.23 kg/hm2,respectively.Therefore,the preferred machine transplanting settings for double-season early rice are a plant spacing of11.5 cm and a finger sticking area of 1.83 cm2,while the finger sticking area should be increased to 2.23 cm2 for conventional rice cultivars. 展开更多

Platooning represents one of the key features that connected automated vehicles may possess as it allows multiple automated vehicles to be maneuvered cooperatively with small headways on roads. However, a critical challenge in accomplishing automated vehicle platoons is to deal with the effects of intermittent and sporadic vehicle-to-vehicle data transmissions caused by limited wireless communication resources. This paper addresses the co-design problem of dynamic event-triggered communication scheduling and cooperative adaptive cruise control for a convoy of automated vehicles with diverse spacing policies. The central aim is to achieve automated vehicle platooning under various gap references with desired platoon stability and spacing performance requirements, while simultaneously improving communication efficiency. Toward this aim, a dynamic event-triggered scheduling mechanism is developed such that the intervehicle data transmissions are scheduled dynamically and efficiently over time. Then, a tractable co-design criterion on the existence of both the admissible event-driven cooperative adaptive cruise control law and the desired scheduling mechanism is derived. Taking the flue-cured tobacco variety K326 as material, the research conducted field experiment to study the effects of quantity of nitrogen fertilizer and plant spacing on tobacco photosynthesis, dry matter accumulation, yield and quality. The results showed that the CO2 concentration in the intercellular space was the highest in M2N2, and was the lowest M1N1, with extremely significant differences. The net photosynthetic rate was the highest in M2N2 and the lowest in M3N3. In resettling and squaring stages, with the same spacing, the weights of root dry matter were growing in different treatments upon nitrogen quantity; the weight of dry matter in stem showed irregularity; the dry matter of leaf accumulation kept slow in early and end stages, but fast in middle stage. In the same growth stage, dry matter accumulation of leaf was higher than those of stem and root, and the proportion of tobacco leaf to the whole plant was decreasing though always kept above 50%. In general, it can be concluded from yield, quality and output value that M2N2 performed the best. 展开更多

Unidirectional solidification of pivalic acid (PVA)-ethanol (Eth) mixture was performed to examine whether an allowable range of primary dendrite spacing definitely exists at a given growth velocity and how the range is history-dependent. PVA-0.59 wt pct Eth was unidirectionally solidified in the range of growth velocity 0.5-64 μm/s at the temperature gradient of 2.3 K/ram. Sequential change in growth velocity was imposed to determine the upper and lower limits for the allowable range of stable spacing. An allowable range of the steady state primary spacing was observed at a given growth velocity, and the extent of the range seems to be dependent on the degree to which step-increase or step-decrease in growth velocity is accomplished. As the degree of sequential change in growth velocity increases, the history-dependence of the selection for the primary dendrite spacing tends to disappear. 展开更多

By in-situ observation and photographing at different specific moments,it has been found that such a flow can cause a great change in primary spacings of constrained columnar crystals:for cells,the spacings become smaller;but for dendrites,they become larger.The former is mainly due to the tilted growth of upstreamside branches,while the latter is mainly due to the coup- ling effect of liquid flow with solutal field around dendrite tips.The faster the liquid flows,the further smaller the cell spacing and the further larger the dendrite spacing. 展开更多

The optimum planting density- row spacing combination for plant productivity of forage sweet sorghum was A1B,, i. e., planting density of 75 000 plants/hm2 and row spacing of 40 cm, and the opti- mum combination for yield of forage sweet sorghum was A2B,, i.e., planting density of 225 000 plants/hm2 and row spacing of 40 cm. In order to improve the smoothness of traffic flow on bidirectional two-lane highways, an analytical method is proposed to optimize the minimum spacing of the signalized intersections. The minimum signal spacing is determined by two parts, including the necessary distance for stabilizing the traffic flow after it passes through the signalized intersections and the length of the upstream functional area of intersection. For the former, based on the platoon dispersion theory, the stable distance determination problem of traffic flow is studied and a model of dispersion degrees varying with the distance from the upstream intersection is presented, in which the time headway is intended to yield the shifted negative exponential distribution. The parameters of the model for medal and collector highways are estimated respectively based on the field data. Then, the section at which the slope of dispersion degree curve equals -0.1 is regarded as the beginning of the dispersion stable state. The length of the intersection upstream functional area is determined by three parts, including the distance traveled during perception-reaction time, the distance traveled while a driver decelerates to a stop, and the queue storage length. Based on the above procedures, the minimum signal spacing of each highway category is proposed. 展开更多
