Predicting the time-varying auto-spectral density of a spacecraft in high-altitude orbits requires an accurate model for the non-stationary random vibration signals with densely spaced modal frequency. The traditional time-varying algorithm limits prediction accuracy, thus affecting a number of operational decisions. To solve this problem, a time-varying auto regressive (TVAR) model based on the process neural network (PNN) and the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is proposed. The time-varying system is tracked on-line by establishing a time-varying parameter model, and then the relevant parameter spectrum is obtained. Firstly, the EMD method is utilized to decompose the signal into several intrinsic mode functions (IMFs). Then for each IMF, the PNN is established and the time-varying auto-spectral density is obtained. Finally, the time-frequency distribution of the signals can be reconstructed by linear superposition. The simulation and the analytical results from an example demonstrate that this approach possesses simplicity, effectiveness, and feasibility, as well as higher frequency resolution. 展开更多

Stratigraphic correlations are essential for the fine-scale characterization of reservoirs.However,conventional data-driven methods that rely solely on log data struggle to construct isochronous stratigraphic frameworks for complex sedimentary environments and multi-source geological settings.In response,this study proposed an intelligent,automatic,log-seismic integrated stratigraphic correlation method that incorporates wavelet frequency-division transform(WFT)and dynamic time warping(DTW)(also referred to as the WFT-DTW method).This approach integrates seismic data as constraints into stratigraphic correlations,enabling accurate tracking of the seismic marker horizons through WFT.Under the constraints of framework construction,a DTW algorithm was introduced to correlate sublayer boundaries automatically.The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified through a stratigraphic correlation experiment on the SA0 Formation of the Xingshugang block in the Lasaxing oilfield,the Songliao Basin,China.In this block,the target layer exhibits sublayer thicknesses ranging from 5 m to 8 m,an average sandstone thickness of 2.1 m,and pronounced heterogeneity.The verification using 1760 layers in 160 post-test wells indicates that the WFT-DTW method intelligently compared sublayers in zones with underdeveloped faults and distinct marker horizons.As a result,the posterior correlation of 1682 layers was performed,with a coincidence rate of up to 95.6%.The proposed method can complement manual correlation efforts while also providing valuable technical support for the lithologic and sand body characterization of reservoirs. 展开更多

FrFT Based Joint Time-Frequency Signal Processing for Coherent Optical Fiber Communications

The linear transmission impairments,such as the timing offset(TO),frequency offset(FO),and chromatic dispersion(CD),are major factors of signal degradations in coherent optical fiber communication systems.The estimation and compensation of such impairments play significant roles in the receiver side digital signal processing(DSP)unit.In this paper,we propose to combat the linear impairments systematically(including TO,FO and CD)with a joint timefrequency signal processing by taking the advantage of fractional Fourier transform(FrFT).In view of geometrical analysis,TO/FO induces a shift in time/frequency coordinate and the CD leads to the rotation in the fractional domain.Both mathematical derivations and geometrical interpretations have been established to unveil the relationships between impairments and linear frequency modulated(LFM)training symbols(TSs).By considering a typical coherent optical orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(COOFDM)transmission system,three kinds of linear impairments have been jointly estimated by simple geometric calculations using appropriately designed TS based on FrFTs.Simulation and experimental results confirmed the feasibility of time-frequency techniques with better accuracy,less complexity,and improved spectral efficiency. 展开更多

Temporal optics,which enables lossless manipulation of ultrafast pulses,offers a new dimension for the regulation of quantum optical fields.In this paper,we established a temporal Fourier transform(TF)system based on a four-wave mixing(FWM)time lens and constructed a full quantum theoretical model for the resulting temporal SU(1,1)interferometer.This interferometer has high temporal resolution,can impose interference in both time and frequency domains,and is sensitive to the phase derivative.By introducing linear time-varying phase modulation,we achieved sub-picosecond precision in temporal autocorrelation measurements and generatedan optical frequency comb with a fixed interval based on a feedback iteration mechanism.Theoretical analysis revealsthe crucial regulatory role of time-frequency coupling in quantum interference,providing novel solutions for ultrafast quantum imaging,temporal mode encoding,and the generation of optical frequency quantization. 展开更多

Wave-particle duality is one of the key features of quantum physics,characterized by the interference pattern.Meanwhile,Floquet spectroscopy is typically studied in the high-frequency region because the Floquet sidebands are very sharp,behaving like“particles”in frequency space,and no interference phenomena are observed.Here,we consider the larger quantum fluctuation region where the Floquet sidebands are broader,making interference between them possible.With the help of an optical lattice clock experimental platform and numerical simulations,such interference of Floquet modes in frequency space is clearly observed.Additionally,it exhibits many exotic phenomena,such as large Floquet sidebands between integer ones,sensitivity to the initial phase,and corresponding emergent symmetries.To analytically elucidate this,we propose the Floquet channel interference hypothesis,which surprisingly matches quantitatively well with both experimental and numerical results.Our research paves the way for developing a new type of interferometer that could be applicable to other Floquet systems. 展开更多

In this paper,we design a spatial modulation based orthogonal time frequency space(SMOTFS)system to achieve improved transmission reliability and meet the high transmission rate and highspeed demands of future mobile communications,which fully utilizes the characteristics of spatial modulation(SM)and orthogonal time frequency space(OTFS)transmission.The detailed system design and signal processing of the SM-OTFS system have been presented.The closed-form expressions of the average symbol error rate(ASER)and average bit error rate(ABER)of the SM-OTFS system have been derived over the delay-Doppler channel with the help of the union bounding technique and moment-generating function(MGF).Meanwhile,the system complexity has been evaluated.Numerical results verify the correctness of the theoretical ASER and ABER analysis of the SM-OTFS system in the high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)regions and also show that the SM-OTFS system outperforms the traditional SM based orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(SM-OFDM)system with limited complexity increase under mobile conditions,especially in high mobility scenarios. 展开更多

The proposed scheme is a new approach to space-time-frequency coded OFDM (ODFDM) that combines OFDM with space-time coding, linear precoding and adaptive power allocation to provide higher quality of transmission in terms of the bit error rate performance and power efficiency. In addition to exploiting the maximux diversity gain in frequency, time and space, the proposed scheme enjoys high coding advantages and low-complexity decoding. In this paper, a new observation equation of non-Gaussian frequency selective fading Bell Labs layered space time (BLAST) architecture system is proposed, which is used for frequency selective fading channels and non-Gaussian noise in an application environment of BLAST system. With othogonal matrix triangularization (QR decomposition) of the channel matrix, the static observation equation of frequency selective fading BLAST system is transformed into a dynamic state space model, and then the particle filter is used for space-time layered detection. Making the full use of the finite alphabet of the digital modulation communication signal, the optimal proposal distribution can be chosen to produce particle and update the weight. Incorporated with current method of reducing error propagation, a new space-time layered detection algorithm is proposed. Simulation result shows the validity of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

Bistatic/multistatic radar has great potential advantages over its monostatic counterpart. However, the separation of a transmitter and a receiver leads to difficulties in locating the target position accurately and guaranteeing space-timefrequency synchronization of the transmitter and the receiver.The error model of space-time-frequency synchronization in a motion platform of bistatic/multistatic radar is studied. The relationship between the space synchronization error and the transmitter platform position, receiver platform position, moving state, and beam pointing error, is analyzed. The effect of space synchronization error on target echo power is studied. The target scattering characteristics are restructured by many separate scattering centers of the target in high frequency regions. Based on the scattering centers model of the radar target, this radar target echo model and the simulation method are discussed. The algorithm of bistatic/multistatic radar target echo accurately reflects the scattering characteristics of the radar target, pulse modulation speciality of radar transmitting signals, and spacetime-frequency synchronization error characteristics between the transmitter station and the receiver station. The simulation of bistatic radar is completed in computer, and the results of the simulation validate the feasibility of the method. 展开更多

Our proposed DSTF scheme embeds some full diversity full rate (FDFR) quasi-orthogonal space-time codes (QOSTBC) with QAM modulation into the frequency intervals and adopts the differential modulation in both time and frequency domains. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed DSTF scheme can improve transmission rate greatly. Compared with the conventional differential unitary space-time modulation (DUSTM), it can get better transmission performance in high transmission rate for MIMO-OFDM system. 展开更多

To improve the performance of space-time coding over downlink frequency-selective correlated fading channels, a novel transmission scheme combining eigenbeamfoming and OFDM is proposed. Provided that the channel correlated statistics are available at the transmitter, the wideband correlated fading channels can be converted into an independent FIR channel with 2 transmitting antennas and N receiving antennas by eigenbeamforming and dimension reduction. OFDM is utilized to convert the FIR channel into a group of independent parallel subchanneis to carry space-time codes. With the new structure, the performance of space-time coding over downlink wideband correlated fading channels is greatly improved and the system complexity is reduced. Validity of the proposed system is verified by simulations under different conditions. Comparison between the new structure and an available structure is made both theoretically and computationslly. 展开更多

Differential space-time (DST) modulation has been proposed recently for multiple-antenna systems over Rayleigh fading channels, where neither the transmitter nor the receiver knows the fading coefficients. Among existing schemes, differential modulation is always performed in the time domain and suffers performance degradations in frequency-selective fading channels. In order to combat the fast time and frequency-selective fading, a novel time-frequency differential space-time (TF-DST) modulation scheme, which adopts differential modulation in both time and frequency domains, is proposed for multi-antenna orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. A corresponding suboptimal yet low-complexity non-coherent detection approach is also proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed system is robust for time and frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channels. 展开更多

A complete method of synchronization technology of bistatic radar using global position system (GPS) is presented. The pulse per second signal (1PPS) is elaborately modified to increase the time synchronization precision and keep loop locking. A very high time synchronization precision is achieved. Using the modified 1PPS to discipline the local OCXO, the reference frequency signal achieves both high long term stability (LTS) and short term stability (STS) properties. An algorithm, named phase abrupt change CFAR is presented to restrain the 1PPS phase abrupt change and keep loop locking. The experimental results indicate that this time and frequency synchronization method is effective and the time synchronization precision of the synchronization system can be improved from ±100 ns to ±25 ns. In addition, the phase noise is improved to 20 dB. 展开更多

This paper is devoted to investigate the robust H∞sliding mode load frequency control(SMLFC) of multi-area power system with time delay. By taking into account stochastic disturbances induced by the integration of renewable energies,a new sliding surface function is constructed to guarantee the fast response and robust performance, then the sliding mode control law is designed to guarantee the reach ability of the sliding surface in a finite-time interval. The sufficient robust frequency stabilization result for multi-area power system with time delay is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). Finally,a two-area power system is provided to illustrate the usefulness and effectiveness of the obtained results. 展开更多
