Although slice methods are simple and effective slope stability analysis approaches,they are statically indeterminate.Several modifications of the slice method,such as the Spencer,MorgensternPrice,and Chen-Morgenstern methods,are statically determinate and solvable as they assume the inter-slice force inclination angle;however,there is a small gap between the assumptions and actual landslide stability analysis.Through reasonable theoretical analysis,the Su slice method provides a reliable approach for determining the inter-slice force inclination angle that can be used in slice analysis to accurately analyse,calculate,and evaluate the stability of landslides.However,the Su slice method requires further research and analysis,especially in terms of the parameter values sinλbiandρ.In this study,we investigated more accurate methods for calculating the parameters sinλbiandρ.In addition,an adjustment coefficient(μ)was introduced to improve the solution method for the inter-slice force inclination angle.The inter-slice force inclination and safety factors of three landslides with arc-shaped slip surfaces and one landslide with a polyline-shaped slip surface were analysed and compared using the different slice methods.The improved inter-slice force inclination not only satisfies the calculation of static force equilibrium condition but also satisfies the calculation of both the force and moment equilibrium conditions.The improved method for calculating inter-slice force inclination presented the best correlation.The safety factors calculated using the improved Su slice method were close to those obtained using numerical simulations and the Morgenstern-Price method.Despite negligible differences among the safety factors calculated using the Su slice,improved Su slice,and M-P methods,the accuracy of the improved Su slice method was better than the M-P method in terms of inter-slice force inclination angles which can be useful to improve protection engineering design. 展开更多

Multi-layer slopes are widely found in clay residue receiving fields.A generalized horizontal slice method(GHSM)for assessing the stability of multi-layer slopes that considers the energy dissipation between adjacent horizontal slices is presented.In view of the upper-bound limit analysis theory,the energy equation is derived and the ultimate failure mode is generated by comparing the sliding surface passing through the slope toe(mode A)with that below(mode B).In addition,the influence of the number of slices on the stability coefficients in the GHSM is studied and the stable value is obtained.Compared to the original method(Chen’s method),the GHSM can acquire more precise results,which takes into account the energy dissipation in the inner sliding soil mass.Moreover,the GHSM,limit equilibrium method(LEM)and numerical simulation method(NSM)are applied to analyze the stability of a multi-layer slope with different slope angles and the results of the safety factor and failure mode are very close in each case.The ultimate failure modes are shown to be mode B when the slope angle is not more than 28°.It illustrates that the determination of the ultimate sliding surface requires comparison of multiple failure modes,not only mode A. 展开更多

Time Slice Analysis Method Based on OTCA Used in fMRI Weak Signal Function Extraction

The original temporal clustering analysis (OTCA) is an effective technique for obtaining brain activation maps when the timing and location of the activation are completely unknown, but its deficiency of sensitivity is exposed in processing brain activation signal which is relatively weak. The time slice analysis method based on OTCA is proposed considering the weakness of the functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) signal of the rat model. By dividing the stimulation period into several time slices and analyzing each slice to detect the activated pixels respectively after the background removal, the sensitivity is significantly improved. The inhibitory response in the hypothalamus after glucose loading is detected successfully with this method in the experiment on rat. Combined with the OTCA method, the time slice analysis method based on OTCA is effective on detecting when, where and which type of response will happen after stimulation, even if the fMRI signal is weak. 展开更多

The searching method of failure surface which consists of complex geological structures in high and steep rock slopes was studied. Based on computer simulation technology and Monte-Carlo method, three dimensional multi-scale geological structures such as engineering scale and statistical scale structures of the slope were simulated. The searching method of failure route which consists of joints and rock bridges was determined via simulation annealing method by considering the shear strength of joints or rock bridges in one supposed route. When shear strengths of all the supposed routes were computed, the least shear strength route was considered failure route. Then, the inclined slice of joint slices and rock bridge slices were separated according to the position of joints and rock bridges. For the rock bridge slices, by distinguishing the failure model, the force direction to the next slice was defined. Finally, the limit equilibrium equations for every slice were established, and the slope stability factor was obtained. One practical example indicates that the discussed method is more closely to the real condition. 展开更多

Simplified method for analyzing soil slope deformation under cyclic loading

Reasonable assessment of slope deformation under cyclic loading is of great significance for securing the safety of slopes. The observations of centrifuge model tests are analyzed on the slope deformation behavior under cyclic loading conditions. The potential slip surface is the key for slope failure and follows two rules:(i) the relative horizontal displacement along the potential slip surface is invariable at an elevation, and(ii) the soil along the slip surface exhibits the same degradation pattern. These rules are effective regardless of the location of the potential slip surface throughout the entire deformation process of a homogeneous slope, ranging from the initial deformation stage to the failure process and to the post-failure stage. A new, simplified method is proposed by deriving the displacement compatibility equation and unified degradation equation according to the fundamental rules. The method has few parameters that can be determined through traditional element tests. The predictions from the proposed method agree with the centrifuge test results with vertical loading and shaking table loading. This result confirms that the proposed method is effective in predicting the full deformation process of slopes under different cyclic loading conditions. 展开更多

Nowadays the cylindrical surface method has been used widely to analyze slope stability. However, this method contains two main disadvantages: firstly, the slip surface is assumed to be in circular shape while in fact it is ellipsoid commonly; and secondly, resolve by difference method causing immensely complicated process due to statically indeterminate equations. In this paper, the authors have presented a method that allows transferring of ellipsoid slip surface to cylindrical shape and carries out a single variable equation (by applying integration method). Also thanks to this method, the current cylindrical surface method has been proved that its application is proper for man-made slopes but usually inappropriate for natural ones. Those results help analysis of slope stability reaching closer to reality. 展开更多

Volume parameter is the basic content of a spatial body object morphology analysis.However,the challenge lies in the volume calculation of irregular objects.The point cloud slicing method proposed in this study effectively works in calculating the volume of the point cloud of the spatial object obtained through three-dimensional laser scanning(3DLS).In this method,a uniformly spaced sequent slicing process is first conducted in a specific direction on the point cloud of the spatial object obtained through 3DLS.A series of discrete point cloud slices corresponding to the point cloud bodies are then obtained.Subsequently,the outline boundary polygon of the point cloud slicing is searched one by one in accordance with the slicing sequence and areas of the polygon.The point cloud slice is also calculated.Finally,the individual point cloud section volume is calculated through the slicing areas and the adjacent slicing gap.Thus,the total volume of the scanned spatial object can be calculated by summing up the individual volumes.According to the results and analysis of the calculated examples,the slice-based volume-calculating method for the point cloud of irregular objects obtained through 3DLS is correct,concise in process,reliable in results,efficient in calculation methods,and controllable on accuracy.This method comes as a good solution to the volume calculation of irregular objects. 展开更多

In the near future, the pit limit of the mine will be reached and underground mine will then be developed through the open pit in the depth of 400 - 600 m from the surface. However, due to the challenges for underground mining such as poor geological conditions, extra thickness (20 - 30 m) of coal seams, and weak mechanical properties of coal seams and the surrounding rock, the success possibility of underground mining and an applicable underground mining method is being investigated at the present. The paper discusses the applicability of multi-slice bord-and-pillar method for the soft extra thick coal seams in the Mae Moh mine by means of numerical analyses using the 3D finite difference code “FLAC3D”. 展开更多

To find out and improve the flow characteristics inside the intake system of cylinder head,the application of computational fluid dynamics(CFD)in the evaluation and optimization of the reconstructed intake system based on slicing reverse method was proposed.The flow characteristics were found out through CFD,and the velocity vector field,pressure field and turbulent kinetic energy field for different valve lifts were discussed,which were in good agreement with experimental data,and the quality of reconstruction was evaluated.In order to improve its flow characteristic,an optimization plan was proposed.The results show that the flow characteristics after optimization are obviously improved.The results can provide a reference for the design and optimization of the intake system of cylinder head. 展开更多

为深入探究齿根裂纹激励对风电齿轮-轴承耦合系统动力学特性的影响规律,提出一种考虑切片耦合效应的含裂纹齿轮时变啮合刚度(TVMS)解析计算与系统振动耦合求解方法。以企业某型风电齿轮箱高速级为研究对象,综合考虑齿轮副动态啮合力、... 为深入探究齿根裂纹激励对风电齿轮-轴承耦合系统动力学特性的影响规律,提出一种考虑切片耦合效应的含裂纹齿轮时变啮合刚度(TVMS)解析计算与系统振动耦合求解方法。以企业某型风电齿轮箱高速级为研究对象,综合考虑齿轮副动态啮合力、滚动轴承动态支撑力等时变因素,建立风电齿轮-轴承耦合系统裂纹故障动力学模型,分析齿根裂纹对齿轮TVMS以及系统动态特性的影响,并通过台架试验验证了模型的正确性。研究结果表明:考虑切片耦合效应的齿轮TVMS修正算法能更好地表征裂纹故障下齿轮啮合刚度的动态变化,齿根裂纹导致齿轮TVMS降低,忽略切片轮齿间的耦合效应可能会高估齿轮裂纹深度对齿轮TVMS的影响;齿根裂纹激励与轴承内滚动体动态接触载荷之间存在一定关联规律,随着齿根裂纹深度的增加,滚动体动态接触载荷的幅值也随之增加,轴承承载区范围出现减小的趋势;当含裂纹齿轮参与啮合时,TVMS的降低将导致齿轮-轴承耦合系统的振动位移产生较大周期性冲击响应,并在啮频附近产生边频带现象,忽略切片轮齿间的耦合效应或将轴承简化为刚度阻尼矩阵可能会低估齿轮裂纹激励对耦合系统的振动响应。 展开更多

将基于强度折减法的黏土边坡稳定模拟计算与理论方法计算进行对比分析,希望找到一个更好的计算方法来提前预知以及预防因边坡失稳导致的灾害。首先采用Abaqus软件进行模型构建以及计算分析,然后采用瑞典条分法以及毕肖普条分法分别对所... 将基于强度折减法的黏土边坡稳定模拟计算与理论方法计算进行对比分析,希望找到一个更好的计算方法来提前预知以及预防因边坡失稳导致的灾害。首先采用Abaqus软件进行模型构建以及计算分析,然后采用瑞典条分法以及毕肖普条分法分别对所构建的模型进行计算。通过对比分析基于强度折减法的数值模拟计算与两种理论方法计算得出的结果,发现强度折减法的结果与两种理论方法的结果都比较接近,但是与瑞典条分法得出的结果更加吻合。基于强度折减法的数值模拟计算不需要提前假定滑动面的位置来进行计算,就能直接得到边坡的稳定安全系数,并且计算更加方便快捷,还能得到土坡各个点在不同时期的位移、应力以及塑性区等。 展开更多

[目的]为了研究海流作用下海洋立管的涡激振动响应特性,[方法]基于计算流体动力学(CFD)和计算结构动力学(CSD),在流体域应用切片法和重叠网格方法建立黏性流场计算模型,在立管结构域应用有限元法建立立管三维计算模型,通过用户自定义功能端口(UDF)编程实现流体域和立管结构的双向、顺序耦合,构建立管涡激振动流-固耦合数值模型,并验证该数值模型的准确性。[结果]结果表明:立管横流向和顺流向无量纲位移均随叠加流振荡频率的增大而不断减小,不同的是横流向的减小幅度小,顺流向的减小幅度大。立管的横流向位移存在延迟效应,减速阶段横流向无量纲位移均方根值远大于加速阶段;顺流向位移变化也存在延迟效应。立管在顺流向位移达到较为稳定时,振动轨迹为“8字形”。[结论]研究成果可为深海立管设计提供一定参考。 展开更多

该研究旨在分析晒干、烘干、微波干制、真空干制和真空冷冻干制等不同干制方式对沙果切片品质(色泽、复水性能、硬度)、抗氧化成分和抗氧化活性的影响。结果显示真空冷冻干制处理的沙果切片酚类含量和抗氧化活性最高,总酚含量、总黄酮... 该研究旨在分析晒干、烘干、微波干制、真空干制和真空冷冻干制等不同干制方式对沙果切片品质(色泽、复水性能、硬度)、抗氧化成分和抗氧化活性的影响。结果显示真空冷冻干制处理的沙果切片酚类含量和抗氧化活性最高,总酚含量、总黄酮含量分别为24.5 GAE mg/g和38.5 RE mg/g, DPPH自由基清除能力、ABTS自由基清除能力、铁还原能力分别为67.25%、78.42%和3.76 FeSO4mmol/L,与新鲜沙果的酚类含量和抗氧化活性相比无显著性差异(P>0.05)。真空冷冻干制得到的产品在色泽、复水性能、硬度等方面均优于其他方式的干制产品,因此,真空冷冻干制是处理沙果的最佳方法。 展开更多

为提升船舶波浪增阻计算的准确度,基于实船航行数据,分别采用数值计算方法和经验公式计算船舶的波浪增阻。以一艘散货船为例,收集其船型信息,根据船型信息计算得到波浪增阻响应曲线;收集该船的航行监测数据,通过Python编程计算各采样数... 为提升船舶波浪增阻计算的准确度,基于实船航行数据,分别采用数值计算方法和经验公式计算船舶的波浪增阻。以一艘散货船为例,收集其船型信息,根据船型信息计算得到波浪增阻响应曲线;收集该船的航行监测数据,通过Python编程计算各采样数据对应的波浪增阻响应曲线,通过国际拖曳水池会议(International Towing Tank Conference,ITTC)双参数海浪谱匹配各采样数据下的波高和波浪周期,求解出对应的波浪增阻;基于ISO15016:2015规程修正风、浪、温度和水密度等参数,通过对轴功率进行波浪增阻、水温和风阻等方面的修正得到理想的静水功率。将修正结果与散货船快速性模型试验结果相对比,验证采用SNNM(SHOPERA-NTUA-NTUMARIC)方法所得船舶波浪增阻相比采用切片法所得波浪增阻更准确,与实船波浪增阻更接近。 展开更多

大红山铜矿西矿段180 m水平以上矿体属缓倾斜中厚矿体,原采用点柱式上向水平分层充填法进行开采,但随着开采范围持续扩大,采区周边应力集中日益明显,待采区域采场在应力集中区和塑性区内,顶板安全风险不断增大。结合矿体的赋存特征和现... 大红山铜矿西矿段180 m水平以上矿体属缓倾斜中厚矿体,原采用点柱式上向水平分层充填法进行开采,但随着开采范围持续扩大,采区周边应力集中日益明显,待采区域采场在应力集中区和塑性区内,顶板安全风险不断增大。结合矿体的赋存特征和现场实际情况,开展了两种采矿方法过渡区的开采方案优化研究,优化后,在过渡区采用分段空场嗣后充填法回采,通过胶结充填构建过渡区的胶结矿柱。对两种采矿方法过渡区的采准工程布置进行分析和研究,研究结果表明:过渡区采用分段空场嗣后充填法开采,胶结充填形成的胶结矿柱具有良好支撑作用,采场顶板最大塑性区高度为7~8 m,充填回风巷的布置不受影响。应用效果表明,过渡区域采场整体上保持稳定,实现了该区域资源的安全高效回采。 展开更多

低速重载点线啮合齿轮传动温度场及影响因素研究

【目的】点线啮合齿轮齿廓融合了渐开线齿轮凸-凸线接触与圆弧齿轮凹-凸点接触的优点,被广泛应用于起重、矿山、冶金等低速重载领域。齿轮接触面润滑油膜在重载作用下容易破裂,齿面产生瞬间高温而黏结,导致齿面磨损加剧,降低承载能力,... 【目的】点线啮合齿轮齿廓融合了渐开线齿轮凸-凸线接触与圆弧齿轮凹-凸点接触的优点,被广泛应用于起重、矿山、冶金等低速重载领域。齿轮接触面润滑油膜在重载作用下容易破裂,齿面产生瞬间高温而黏结,导致齿面磨损加剧,降低承载能力,影响使用寿命,因此,研究了煤机用低速重载点线啮合齿轮传动温度场分布及其影响因素。【方法】首先,基于切片法、赫兹接触理论与摩擦学原理,推导出齿面温升与摩擦热流密度的计算式;其次,结合具体实例和有限元软件Ansys(APDL)对点线啮合齿轮传动的齿面温度场进行模拟,分析了轮齿各表面生热情况及啮合面温度分布规律;最后,研究了点线啮合齿轮传动几何参数及工况参数对齿面温度场的影响。【结果】结果表明,点线啮合齿轮传动主动轮的最高温度出现在齿宽中部靠近齿顶部分,从动轮最高温度出现在凹凸齿廓交界处附近,而且主动轮的温度明显大于从动轮;此外,在一定范围内增大主动轮转速、减小变位系数和减小传动功率均能不同程度地降低齿面摩擦热流密度,且温度场分布更加均匀;传动功率对温度场影响较大,当传动功率由110 kW减小到60 kW时,齿面最高温度降低了27.2%。对点线啮合齿轮传动齿面温度场及其影响因素的研究可以为点线啮合齿轮齿廓修形与降噪增寿提供依据。 展开更多

对于船舶结构而言,疲劳荷载作用下应力集中区域的初始缺陷极易发展成半椭圆表面裂纹,而求解裂纹张开位移,对于研究疲劳裂纹的扩展机理十分重要.提出了一种改进片条合成法,用于计算弹性条件下有限板表面裂纹张开位移.首先利用片条合成法... 对于船舶结构而言,疲劳荷载作用下应力集中区域的初始缺陷极易发展成半椭圆表面裂纹,而求解裂纹张开位移,对于研究疲劳裂纹的扩展机理十分重要.提出了一种改进片条合成法,用于计算弹性条件下有限板表面裂纹张开位移.首先利用片条合成法得到位移的数值解,然后建立不同裂纹深长比(a/c)、相对裂纹深度(a/t)以及相对裂纹长度(c/w)的网格模型得到有限元解.对比结果表明,传统片条合成法在合理的表面裂纹形状范围内存在局限性.通过拟合参数来改进传统片条合成法,验证一维和二维一到三次应力分布下的位移结果,得到适用的表面裂纹形状范围:0.25≤a/c≤1.00,0.05≤a/t≤0.40,0.05≤c/w≤0.50.改进片条合成法可用于复杂应力分布下有限板表面裂纹张开位移的计算和残余疲劳寿命预测. 展开更多
