Methods: a total of 432 male patients with urgent need of catheter diuresis in the urinary surgery department of our hospital from October 2019 to September 2020 were randomly selected as the subjects of this clinical study. They were randomly divided into the study group and the control group with 216 cases in each group. The study group used Shutai as lubricant for catheterization, while the control group used traditional paraffin oil as lubricant for catheterization. The clinical effects of two groups of patients after catheterization with different lubricants were compared. Results: the evaluation index of patients' satisfaction with treatment in the study group was significantly better than that in the control group (P < 0.05), and the incidence of complications in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05), the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: for male patients who need catheterization, the use of Shutai as the main lubricant is effective and worthy of clinical application.展开更多
