Methods: 40 patients with gouty arthritis admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were randomly divided into the study group and the control group with 20 patients in each group. The patients in both groups received basic treatment for gouty arthritis after admission. The patients in the control group received routine treatment for gouty arthritis and the patients in the study group received Shukan Yufeng decoction. The therapeutic effect, improvement of TCM syndrome scores, improvement of laboratory indicators and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were evaluated and compared. Results: after treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the scores of TCM syndromes such as pain, joint swelling and joint activity the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the indexes such as blood uric acid, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and c-reactive protein the study group were lower than those of the control group. The difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). During treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of treatment-related adverse reactions between the two groups (p > 0.05). Conclusion: the therapeutic effect of Shukan Yufeng Decoction on patients with gouty arthritis is definite. It can effectively promote the improvement of TCM syndrome score and reduce the levels of blood uric acid, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein.展开更多
