The Idaho Falls (IDF) measurement of run 9 case is simulated numerica...A self-adaptive-grid method is applied to numerical simulation of the evolu- tion of aircraft wake vortex with the large eddy simulation (LES). The Idaho Falls (IDF) measurement of run 9 case is simulated numerically and compared with that of the field experimental data. The comparison shows that the method is reliable in the complex atmospheric environment with crosswind and ground effect. In addition, six cases with different ambient atmospheric turbulences and Brunt V^iis/il^i (BV) frequencies are com- puted with the LES. The main characteristics of vortex are appropriately simulated by the current method. The onset time of rapid decay and the descending of vortices are in agreement with the previous measurements and the numerical prediction. Also, sec-ondary structures such as baroclinic vorticity and helical structures are also simulated. Only approximately 6 million grid points are needed in computation with the present method, while the number can be as large as 34 million when using a uniform mesh with the same core resolution. The self-adaptive-grid method is proved to be practical in the numerical research of aircraft wake vortex.展开更多
Octopuses,due to their flexible arms,marvelous adaptability,and powerful suckers,are able to effortlessly grasp and disengage various objects in the marine surrounding without causing devastation.However,manipulating ...Octopuses,due to their flexible arms,marvelous adaptability,and powerful suckers,are able to effortlessly grasp and disengage various objects in the marine surrounding without causing devastation.However,manipulating delicate objects such as soft and fragile foods underwater require gentle contact and stable adhesion,which poses a serious challenge to now available soft grippers.Inspired by the sucker infundibulum structure and flexible tentacles of octopus,herein we developed a hydraulically actuated hydrogel soft gripper with adaptive maneuverability by coupling multiple hydrogen bond-mediated supramolecular hydrogels and vat polymerization three-dimensional printing,in which hydrogel bionic sucker is composed of a tunable curvature membrane,a negative pressure cavity,and a pneumatic chamber.The design of the sucker structure with the alterable curvature membrane is conducive to realize the reliable and gentle switchable adhesion of the hydrogel soft gripper.As a proof-of-concept,the adaptive hydrogel soft gripper is capable of implement diversified underwater tasks,including gingerly grasping fragile foods like egg yolks and tofu,as well as underwater robots and vehicles that station-keeping and crawling based on switchable adhesion.This study therefore provides a transformative strategy for the design of novel soft grippers that will render promising utilities for underwater exploration soft robotics.展开更多
Solid lubricating coatings play a crucial role in preventing friction and wear failure of the hot-end sliding components in aviation engines.In this study,VAlN/Ag multi-layer coatings with excellent interfacial matchi...Solid lubricating coatings play a crucial role in preventing friction and wear failure of the hot-end sliding components in aviation engines.In this study,VAlN/Ag multi-layer coatings with excellent interfacial matching were fabricated using a hybrid magnetron sputtering technique.The type and energy of discharge plasmas were analyzed to comprehend their effects on depositing coatings.The coatings exhibit self-adaptive lubrication properties during the designed consecutive friction with stepwise heating from 25℃to 650℃.The microstructure evolution during early friction facilitates sufficient tribo-chemical reaction at 650℃,leading to the formation of a distinctive"ball-on-rail"structure that significantly reduces friction coefficient.Based on the first-principles calculations,it was found that the bond energy of Ag-O is lower than that of V-O in both AgVO_(3)and Ag_(3)VO_(4),which promotes slipping along the(110)crystal plane and contributes to exceptional tribological properties.The fatigue wear failure mechanism of hard coatings under the thermal-force coupling effects has been elucidated,alongside an exploration of consecutive tribology mechanism at atomic scales over a wide temperature range.展开更多
Gecko-inspired van der Waals force-based adhesion technology demonstrates significant potential for robotic operations.While superior adhesion is achieved under parallel contact during testing,engineering operations o...Gecko-inspired van der Waals force-based adhesion technology demonstrates significant potential for robotic operations.While superior adhesion is achieved under parallel contact during testing,engineering operations often involve non-parallel contact,weakening adhesion,and compromising task stability and efficiency.Stable attachment under such non-parallel contacts remains challenging.Inspired by the soft muscle and rigid bone in the gecko’s sole,this study proposes a self-adaptive core-shell dry adhesive by embedding a thin,rigid piece into a soft,thick elastomer comprising a top adhesion tip with a mushroom-like geometry for interfacial adhesion based on the van der Waals force and a bottom core-shell configuration for interface stress regulation.Unlike traditional core-shell structures with a fixed“dead core,”the proposed“live core”rotates within the soft shell,mimicking skeletal joints.This enables stress equalization at the interface and facilitates adaptive contact to macroscopic interfacial angle errors.This innovative core-shell configuration demonstrates an adhesion strength 100 times higher than conventional homogeneous structures under non-parallel contact and offers anti-overturning ability by mitigating torsional effects.The proposed strategy can advance the development of gecko-inspired adhesion-based devices and systems.展开更多
Electron beam injectors are pivotal components of large-scale scientific instruments,such as synchrotron radiation sources,free-electron lasers,and electron-positron colliders.The quality of the electron beam produced...Electron beam injectors are pivotal components of large-scale scientific instruments,such as synchrotron radiation sources,free-electron lasers,and electron-positron colliders.The quality of the electron beam produced by the injector critically influences the performance of the entire accelerator-based scientific research apparatus.The injectors of such facilities usually use photocathode and thermionic-cathode electron guns.Although the photocathode injector can produce electron beams of excellent quality,its associated laser system is massive and intricate.The thermionic-cathode electron gun,especially the gridded electron gun injector,has a simple structure capable of generating numerous electron beams.However,its emittance is typically high.In this study,methods to reduce beam emittance are explored through a comprehensive analysis of various grid structures and preliminary design results,examining the evolution of beam phase space at different grid positions.An optimization method for reducing the emittance of a gridded thermionic-cathode electron gun is proposed through theoretical derivation,electromagnetic-field simulation,and beam-dynamics simulation.A 50%reduction in emittance was achieved for a 50 keV,1.7 A electron gun,laying the foundation for the subsequent design of a high-current,low-emittance injector.展开更多

Managing massive data flows effectively and resolving spectrum shortages are two challenges that smart grid communication networks(SGCN)must overcome.To address these problems,we provide a combined optimization approa...Managing massive data flows effectively and resolving spectrum shortages are two challenges that smart grid communication networks(SGCN)must overcome.To address these problems,we provide a combined optimization approach that makes use of cognitive radio(CR)and non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)technologies.Our work focuses on using user pairing(UP)and power allocation(PA)techniques to maximize energy efficiency(EE)in SGCN,particularly within neighbourhood area networks(NANs).We develop a joint optimization problem that takes into account the real-world limitations of a CR-NOMA setting.This problem is NP-hard,nonlinear,and nonconvex by nature.To address the computational complexity of the problem,we use the block coordinate descent(BCD)method,which breaks the problem into UP and PA subproblems.Initially,we proposed the zebra-optimization user pairing(ZOUP)algorithm to tackle the UP problem,which outperforms both orthogonal multiple access(OMA)and non-optimized NOMA(UPWO)by 78.8%and13.6%,respectively,at a SNR of 15 dB.Based on the ZOUP pairs,we subsequently proposed the PA approach,i.e.,ZOUPPA,which significantly outperforms UPWO and ZOUP by 53.2%and 25.4%,respectively,at an SNR of 15 dB.A detailed analysis of key parameters,including varying SNRs,power allocation constants,path loss exponents,user density,channel availability,and coverage radius,underscores the superiority of our approach.By facilitating the effective use of communication resources in SGCN,our research opens the door to more intelligent and energy-efficient grid systems.Our work tackles important issues in SGCN and lays the groundwork for future developments in smart grid communication technologies by combining modern optimization approaches with CR-NOMA.展开更多

Owing to the development of communication technologies and control systems,the integration of numerous Internet of Things(IoT)nodes into the power grid has become increasingly prevalent.These nodes are deployed to gat...Owing to the development of communication technologies and control systems,the integration of numerous Internet of Things(IoT)nodes into the power grid has become increasingly prevalent.These nodes are deployed to gather operational data from various distributed energy sources and monitor real-time energy consumption,thereby transforming the traditional power grid into a smart grid(SG).However,the openness of wireless communication channels introduces vulnerabilities,as it allows potential eavesdroppers to intercept sensitive information.This poses threats to the secure and efficient operation of the IoT-driven smart grid.To address these challenges,we propose a novel scenario that incorporates an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)as a relay gateway for multiple authorized smart meters.This scenario is further enhanced by the integration of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS)technology,which dynamically adjusts the direction of information transmission.Our objective is to maximize the secure rate within this UAV-RIS-aided system with multiple authorized smart meters and an eavesdropper based on physical layer security(PLS)techniques.We formulate the problem of secure rate maximization by jointly optimizing the active beamforming of the UAV,the passive beamforming of the RIS,and the UAV’s trajectory.To solve this complex optimization problem,we introduce the Twin Soft Actor-Critic(TSAC)algorithm.This algorithm employs a dual-agent framework,where Agent 1 focuses on optimizing the beamforming for both the UAV and the RIS,while Agent 2 concurrently searches for the optimal trajectory of the UAV.Simulation results demonstrate the TSAC algorithm significantly enhances the secure rate of the system,achieving faster convergence and higher rewards under the worst communication conditions.The TSAC algorithm consistently outperforms the Twin Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(TDDPG)and Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(TTD3)algorithms.Furthermore,the TSAC algorithm exhibits robust performance when the distribution of smart meters follows a Gaussian distribution,further validating its practical applicability and effectiveness in real-world scenarios.展开更多
Modern power systems increasingly depend on interconnected microgrids to enhance reliability and renewable energy utilization.However,the high penetration of intermittent renewable sources often causes frequency devia...Modern power systems increasingly depend on interconnected microgrids to enhance reliability and renewable energy utilization.However,the high penetration of intermittent renewable sources often causes frequency deviations,voltage fluctuations,and poor reactive power coordination,posing serious challenges to grid stability.Conventional Interconnection FlowControllers(IFCs)primarily regulate active power flowand fail to effectively handle dynamic frequency variations or reactive power sharing in multi-microgrid networks.To overcome these limitations,this study proposes an enhanced Interconnection Flow Controller(e-IFC)that integrates frequency response balancing and an Interconnection Reactive Power Flow Controller(IRFC)within a unified adaptive control structure.The proposed e-IFC is implemented and analyzed in DIgSILENT PowerFactory to evaluate its performance under various grid disturbances,including frequency drops,load changes,and reactive power fluctuations.Simulation results reveal that the e-IFC achieves 27.4% higher active power sharing accuracy,19.6% lower reactive power deviation,and 18.2% improved frequency stability compared to the conventional IFC.The adaptive controller ensures seamless transitions between grid-connected and islanded modes and maintains stable operation even under communication delays and data noise.Overall,the proposed e-IFCsignificantly enhances active-reactive power coordination and dynamic stability in renewable-integrated multi-microgrid systems.Future research will focus on coupling the e-IFC with tertiary-level optimization frameworks and conducting hardware-in-the-loop validation to enable its application in large-scale smart microgrid environments.展开更多

Large cavities in carbonate formations pos...Most of the carbonate formation are highly heterogeneous with cavities of different sizes, which makes the prediction of cavity-filled reservoir in carbonate rocks difficult. Large cavities in carbonate formations pose serious threat to drilling operations. Logging-whiledrilling (LWD) is currently used to accurately identify and evaluate cavities in reservoirs during drilling. In this study, we use the self-adaptive hp-FEM algorithm simulate and calculate the LWD resistivity responses of fracture-cavity reservoir cavities. Compared with the traditional h-FEM method, the self-adaptive hp-FEM algorithm has the characteristics of the self-adaptive mesh refinement and the calculations exponentially converge to highly accurate solutions. Using numerical simulations, we investigated the effect of the cavity size, distance between cavity and borehole, and transmitted frequency on the LWD resistivity response. Based on the results, a method for recognizing cavities is proposed. This research can provide the theoretical basis for the accurate identification and quantitative evaluation of various carbonate reservoirs with cavities encountered in practice.展开更多

However, resource management and application with varied requirements in grid environment continue to be a complex undertaking. In order to address complex resource management issues, we provide a self-adaptive model, which is based on multi-objective programming. The model make use of virtues of market mechanism efficiently, meanwhile, the shortcomings of market mechanism, such as too frequent fluctuations of price, are avoided by means of the method of changing prices after trading. Through using atom allocation of resource group, the cooperating allocation is improved, and some problems, such as deadlock of resource and inefficiently occupying resource, are solved. What's more important, efficiently using various resources in grid system is guaranteed through importing multi-objective programming mechanism in our resource management solution. A frame of resource allocation is given at first, then, the mathematical model of the method is constructed. An algorithm is proposed to get the approximate solution in this paper.展开更多

The fuzzy logic controller is able to perform effectively even in situations where the information about the plant is inaccurate and the operating conditions are uncertain. Based on the proportional navigation, the fuzzy logic and the genetic algorithm are combined to develop an evolutionary fuzzy navigation law with self-adapt region for the air-to-air missile guidance. The line of sight (LOS) rate and the closing speed between the missile and the target are inputs of the fuzzy controller. The output of the fuzzy controller is the commanded acceleration. Then a nonlinear function based on the conventional fuzzy logic control is imported to change the region. This nonlinear function can be changed with the input variables. So the dynamic change of the fuzzy variable region is achieved. The guidance law is optimized by the genetic algorithm. Simulation results of air-to-air missile attack using MATLAB show that the method needs less acceleration and shorter flying time, and its realization is simple.[KH*3/4D]展开更多

Bio-inspired manufacturing system can well satisfy these requirements. For this purpose, by referencing the biological organization structure and the mechanism, a bio-inspired manufacturing cell is presented from a novel view, and then a bio-inspired self-adaptive manufacturing model is established based on the ultra-short feedback mechanism of the neuro-endocrine system. A hio-inspired self-adaptive manufacturing system coordinated model is also established based on the neuro-endocrine-immunity system (NEIS). Finally, an example based on pheromone communication mechanism indicates that the robustness of the whole manufacturing system is improved by bio-inspired technologies.展开更多

A spray cooling system is set up for simulation test in laboratory to test the step signal from the conventional, integral sepa rated and fuzzy self-adaptive PID controllers and the simulation casting. And the on-site test is done in some steel plant. The test results show that the fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller's performance is better than that of the other two controllers, which provides a basis for further study and application.展开更多

In order to solve the CJWTA problem efficiently, a self-adaptive learning based discrete differential evolution (SLDDE) algorithm is proposed by introduc-ing a self-adaptive learning mechanism into the traditional discrete differential evolution algorithm. The SLDDE algorithm steers four candidate solution generation strategies simultaneously in the framework of the self-adaptive learning mechanism. Computa-tional simulations are conducted on ten test instances of CJWTA problem. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed SLDDE algorithm not only can generate better results than only one strategy based discrete differential algorithms, but also outper-forms two algorithms which are proposed recently for the weapon-target assignment problems.展开更多

The conventional PID control strategy incorporated with optimization GA was put forward to maintain the optimum drying temperature in order to keep the moisture content below 1%, whose adaptation ability included the cost function of optimization GA according to the output change. Simulations on five different industrial process models and practical temperature process control system for selenium-enriched slag drying intensively by using IMDRDWM were carried out systematically, indicating the reliability and effectiveness of control design. The parameters of proposed control design are all on-line implemented without iterative predictive calculations, and the closed-loop system stability is guaranteed, which makes the developed scheme simpler in its synthesis and application, providing the practical guidelines for the control implementation and the parameter design.展开更多
A self-adaptive differential evolution neutron spectrum unfolding algorithm(SDENUA)is established in this study to unfold the neutron spectra obtained from a water-pumping-injection multilayered concentric sphere neut...A self-adaptive differential evolution neutron spectrum unfolding algorithm(SDENUA)is established in this study to unfold the neutron spectra obtained from a water-pumping-injection multilayered concentric sphere neutron spectrometer(WMNS).Specifically,the neutron fluence bounds are estimated to accelerate the algorithm convergence,and the minimum error between the optimal solution and input neutron counts with relative uncertainties is limited to 10^(-6)to avoid unnecessary calculations.Furthermore,the crossover probability and scaling factor are self-adaptively controlled.FLUKA Monte Carlo is used to simulate the readings of the WMNS under(1)a spectrum of Cf-252 and(2)its spectrum after being moderated,(3)a spectrum used for boron neutron capture therapy,and(4)a reactor spectrum.Subsequently,the measured neutron counts are unfolded using the SDENUA.The uncertainties of the measured neutron count and the response matrix are considered in the SDENUA,which does not require complex parameter tuning or an a priori default spectrum.The results indicate that the solutions of the SDENUA agree better with the IAEA spectra than those of MAXED and GRAVEL in UMG 3.1,and the errors of the final results calculated using the SDENUA are less than 12%.The established SDENUA can be used to unfold spectra from the WMNS.展开更多

It is very useful in overcoming non-linear dynamic behavior, uncertain and time-varying parameters, un-modeled dynamics, and couples between the automatic turbulence control (ATC) and the automatic acid temperature control (AATC) with varying parameters during the operation process. The quasi-cascade control system of inner and outer loop self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller was built, which could effectively control the pickling speed of plates and strips. The simulated results and real application indicate that the plates and strips acid pickling speed control system has good performances of adaptively tracking the parameter variations and anti-disturbances, which ensures the match of acid pickling temperature and turbulence of flowing with acid pickling speed, improving the surface quality of plates and strips acid pickling, and energy efficiency.展开更多

文摘Octopuses,due to their flexible arms,marvelous adaptability,and powerful suckers,are able to effortlessly grasp and disengage various objects in the marine surrounding without causing devastation.However,manipulating delicate objects such as soft and fragile foods underwater require gentle contact and stable adhesion,which poses a serious challenge to now available soft grippers.Inspired by the sucker infundibulum structure and flexible tentacles of octopus,herein we developed a hydraulically actuated hydrogel soft gripper with adaptive maneuverability by coupling multiple hydrogen bond-mediated supramolecular hydrogels and vat polymerization three-dimensional printing,in which hydrogel bionic sucker is composed of a tunable curvature membrane,a negative pressure cavity,and a pneumatic chamber.The design of the sucker structure with the alterable curvature membrane is conducive to realize the reliable and gentle switchable adhesion of the hydrogel soft gripper.As a proof-of-concept,the adaptive hydrogel soft gripper is capable of implement diversified underwater tasks,including gingerly grasping fragile foods like egg yolks and tofu,as well as underwater robots and vehicles that station-keeping and crawling based on switchable adhesion.This study therefore provides a transformative strategy for the design of novel soft grippers that will render promising utilities for underwater exploration soft robotics.

文摘Solid lubricating coatings play a crucial role in preventing friction and wear failure of the hot-end sliding components in aviation engines.In this study,VAlN/Ag multi-layer coatings with excellent interfacial matching were fabricated using a hybrid magnetron sputtering technique.The type and energy of discharge plasmas were analyzed to comprehend their effects on depositing coatings.The coatings exhibit self-adaptive lubrication properties during the designed consecutive friction with stepwise heating from 25℃to 650℃.The microstructure evolution during early friction facilitates sufficient tribo-chemical reaction at 650℃,leading to the formation of a distinctive"ball-on-rail"structure that significantly reduces friction coefficient.Based on the first-principles calculations,it was found that the bond energy of Ag-O is lower than that of V-O in both AgVO_(3)and Ag_(3)VO_(4),which promotes slipping along the(110)crystal plane and contributes to exceptional tribological properties.The fatigue wear failure mechanism of hard coatings under the thermal-force coupling effects has been elucidated,alongside an exploration of consecutive tribology mechanism at atomic scales over a wide temperature range.

文摘Gecko-inspired van der Waals force-based adhesion technology demonstrates significant potential for robotic operations.While superior adhesion is achieved under parallel contact during testing,engineering operations often involve non-parallel contact,weakening adhesion,and compromising task stability and efficiency.Stable attachment under such non-parallel contacts remains challenging.Inspired by the soft muscle and rigid bone in the gecko’s sole,this study proposes a self-adaptive core-shell dry adhesive by embedding a thin,rigid piece into a soft,thick elastomer comprising a top adhesion tip with a mushroom-like geometry for interfacial adhesion based on the van der Waals force and a bottom core-shell configuration for interface stress regulation.Unlike traditional core-shell structures with a fixed“dead core,”the proposed“live core”rotates within the soft shell,mimicking skeletal joints.This enables stress equalization at the interface and facilitates adaptive contact to macroscopic interfacial angle errors.This innovative core-shell configuration demonstrates an adhesion strength 100 times higher than conventional homogeneous structures under non-parallel contact and offers anti-overturning ability by mitigating torsional effects.The proposed strategy can advance the development of gecko-inspired adhesion-based devices and systems.

文摘Electron beam injectors are pivotal components of large-scale scientific instruments,such as synchrotron radiation sources,free-electron lasers,and electron-positron colliders.The quality of the electron beam produced by the injector critically influences the performance of the entire accelerator-based scientific research apparatus.The injectors of such facilities usually use photocathode and thermionic-cathode electron guns.Although the photocathode injector can produce electron beams of excellent quality,its associated laser system is massive and intricate.The thermionic-cathode electron gun,especially the gridded electron gun injector,has a simple structure capable of generating numerous electron beams.However,its emittance is typically high.In this study,methods to reduce beam emittance are explored through a comprehensive analysis of various grid structures and preliminary design results,examining the evolution of beam phase space at different grid positions.An optimization method for reducing the emittance of a gridded thermionic-cathode electron gun is proposed through theoretical derivation,electromagnetic-field simulation,and beam-dynamics simulation.A 50%reduction in emittance was achieved for a 50 keV,1.7 A electron gun,laying the foundation for the subsequent design of a high-current,low-emittance injector.

文摘Managing massive data flows effectively and resolving spectrum shortages are two challenges that smart grid communication networks(SGCN)must overcome.To address these problems,we provide a combined optimization approach that makes use of cognitive radio(CR)and non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)technologies.Our work focuses on using user pairing(UP)and power allocation(PA)techniques to maximize energy efficiency(EE)in SGCN,particularly within neighbourhood area networks(NANs).We develop a joint optimization problem that takes into account the real-world limitations of a CR-NOMA setting.This problem is NP-hard,nonlinear,and nonconvex by nature.To address the computational complexity of the problem,we use the block coordinate descent(BCD)method,which breaks the problem into UP and PA subproblems.Initially,we proposed the zebra-optimization user pairing(ZOUP)algorithm to tackle the UP problem,which outperforms both orthogonal multiple access(OMA)and non-optimized NOMA(UPWO)by 78.8%and13.6%,respectively,at a SNR of 15 dB.Based on the ZOUP pairs,we subsequently proposed the PA approach,i.e.,ZOUPPA,which significantly outperforms UPWO and ZOUP by 53.2%and 25.4%,respectively,at an SNR of 15 dB.A detailed analysis of key parameters,including varying SNRs,power allocation constants,path loss exponents,user density,channel availability,and coverage radius,underscores the superiority of our approach.By facilitating the effective use of communication resources in SGCN,our research opens the door to more intelligent and energy-efficient grid systems.Our work tackles important issues in SGCN and lays the groundwork for future developments in smart grid communication technologies by combining modern optimization approaches with CR-NOMA.
文摘Theauthor proposes a dual layer source grid load storage collaborative planning model based on Benders decomposition to optimize the low-carbon and economic performance of the distribution network.The model plans the configuration of photovoltaic(3.8 MW),wind power(2.5 MW),energy storage(2.2 MWh),and SVC(1.2 Mvar)through interaction between upper and lower layers,and modifies lines 2–3,8–9,etc.to improve transmission capacity and voltage stability.The author uses normal distribution and Monte Carlo method to model load uncertainty,and combines Weibull distribution to describe wind speed characteristics.Compared to the traditional three-layer model(TLM),Benders decomposition-based two-layer model(BLBD)has a 58.1%reduction in convergence time(5.36 vs.12.78 h),a 51.1%reduction in iteration times(23 vs.47 times),a 8.07%reduction in total cost(12.436 vs.13.528 million yuan),and a 9.62%reduction in carbon emissions(12,456 vs.13,782 t).After optimization,the peak valley difference decreased from4.1 to 2.9MW,the renewable energy consumption rate reached 93.4%,and the energy storage efficiency was 87.6%.Themodel has been validated in the IEEE 33 node system,demonstrating its superiority in terms of economy,low-carbon,and reliability.

文摘Owing to the development of communication technologies and control systems,the integration of numerous Internet of Things(IoT)nodes into the power grid has become increasingly prevalent.These nodes are deployed to gather operational data from various distributed energy sources and monitor real-time energy consumption,thereby transforming the traditional power grid into a smart grid(SG).However,the openness of wireless communication channels introduces vulnerabilities,as it allows potential eavesdroppers to intercept sensitive information.This poses threats to the secure and efficient operation of the IoT-driven smart grid.To address these challenges,we propose a novel scenario that incorporates an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)as a relay gateway for multiple authorized smart meters.This scenario is further enhanced by the integration of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS)technology,which dynamically adjusts the direction of information transmission.Our objective is to maximize the secure rate within this UAV-RIS-aided system with multiple authorized smart meters and an eavesdropper based on physical layer security(PLS)techniques.We formulate the problem of secure rate maximization by jointly optimizing the active beamforming of the UAV,the passive beamforming of the RIS,and the UAV’s trajectory.To solve this complex optimization problem,we introduce the Twin Soft Actor-Critic(TSAC)algorithm.This algorithm employs a dual-agent framework,where Agent 1 focuses on optimizing the beamforming for both the UAV and the RIS,while Agent 2 concurrently searches for the optimal trajectory of the UAV.Simulation results demonstrate the TSAC algorithm significantly enhances the secure rate of the system,achieving faster convergence and higher rewards under the worst communication conditions.The TSAC algorithm consistently outperforms the Twin Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(TDDPG)and Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(TTD3)algorithms.Furthermore,the TSAC algorithm exhibits robust performance when the distribution of smart meters follows a Gaussian distribution,further validating its practical applicability and effectiveness in real-world scenarios.

文摘Modern power systems increasingly depend on interconnected microgrids to enhance reliability and renewable energy utilization.However,the high penetration of intermittent renewable sources often causes frequency deviations,voltage fluctuations,and poor reactive power coordination,posing serious challenges to grid stability.Conventional Interconnection FlowControllers(IFCs)primarily regulate active power flowand fail to effectively handle dynamic frequency variations or reactive power sharing in multi-microgrid networks.To overcome these limitations,this study proposes an enhanced Interconnection Flow Controller(e-IFC)that integrates frequency response balancing and an Interconnection Reactive Power Flow Controller(IRFC)within a unified adaptive control structure.The proposed e-IFC is implemented and analyzed in DIgSILENT PowerFactory to evaluate its performance under various grid disturbances,including frequency drops,load changes,and reactive power fluctuations.Simulation results reveal that the e-IFC achieves 27.4% higher active power sharing accuracy,19.6% lower reactive power deviation,and 18.2% improved frequency stability compared to the conventional IFC.The adaptive controller ensures seamless transitions between grid-connected and islanded modes and maintains stable operation even under communication delays and data noise.Overall,the proposed e-IFCsignificantly enhances active-reactive power coordination and dynamic stability in renewable-integrated multi-microgrid systems.Future research will focus on coupling the e-IFC with tertiary-level optimization frameworks and conducting hardware-in-the-loop validation to enable its application in large-scale smart microgrid environments.

文摘Most of the carbonate formation are highly heterogeneous with cavities of different sizes, which makes the prediction of cavity-filled reservoir in carbonate rocks difficult. Large cavities in carbonate formations pose serious threat to drilling operations. Logging-whiledrilling (LWD) is currently used to accurately identify and evaluate cavities in reservoirs during drilling. In this study, we use the self-adaptive hp-FEM algorithm simulate and calculate the LWD resistivity responses of fracture-cavity reservoir cavities. Compared with the traditional h-FEM method, the self-adaptive hp-FEM algorithm has the characteristics of the self-adaptive mesh refinement and the calculations exponentially converge to highly accurate solutions. Using numerical simulations, we investigated the effect of the cavity size, distance between cavity and borehole, and transmitted frequency on the LWD resistivity response. Based on the results, a method for recognizing cavities is proposed. This research can provide the theoretical basis for the accurate identification and quantitative evaluation of various carbonate reservoirs with cavities encountered in practice.
文摘The growing computational power requirements of grand challenge applications have positioned computational grid as promising next generation computing platform. However, resource management and application with varied requirements in grid environment continue to be a complex undertaking. In order to address complex resource management issues, we provide a self-adaptive model, which is based on multi-objective programming. The model make use of virtues of market mechanism efficiently, meanwhile, the shortcomings of market mechanism, such as too frequent fluctuations of price, are avoided by means of the method of changing prices after trading. Through using atom allocation of resource group, the cooperating allocation is improved, and some problems, such as deadlock of resource and inefficiently occupying resource, are solved. What's more important, efficiently using various resources in grid system is guaranteed through importing multi-objective programming mechanism in our resource management solution. A frame of resource allocation is given at first, then, the mathematical model of the method is constructed. An algorithm is proposed to get the approximate solution in this paper.
文摘Effective guidance is one of the most important tasks to the performance of air-to-air missile. The fuzzy logic controller is able to perform effectively even in situations where the information about the plant is inaccurate and the operating conditions are uncertain. Based on the proportional navigation, the fuzzy logic and the genetic algorithm are combined to develop an evolutionary fuzzy navigation law with self-adapt region for the air-to-air missile guidance. The line of sight (LOS) rate and the closing speed between the missile and the target are inputs of the fuzzy controller. The output of the fuzzy controller is the commanded acceleration. Then a nonlinear function based on the conventional fuzzy logic control is imported to change the region. This nonlinear function can be changed with the input variables. So the dynamic change of the fuzzy variable region is achieved. The guidance law is optimized by the genetic algorithm. Simulation results of air-to-air missile attack using MATLAB show that the method needs less acceleration and shorter flying time, and its realization is simple.[KH*3/4D]

文摘Future manufacturing systems need to cope with frequent changes and disturbances, therefore their control architectures require constant adaptability, agility, stability, self-organization, intelligence, and robustness. Bio-inspired manufacturing system can well satisfy these requirements. For this purpose, by referencing the biological organization structure and the mechanism, a bio-inspired manufacturing cell is presented from a novel view, and then a bio-inspired self-adaptive manufacturing model is established based on the ultra-short feedback mechanism of the neuro-endocrine system. A hio-inspired self-adaptive manufacturing system coordinated model is also established based on the neuro-endocrine-immunity system (NEIS). Finally, an example based on pheromone communication mechanism indicates that the robustness of the whole manufacturing system is improved by bio-inspired technologies.

文摘To improve billet quality and the trackability and stability of secondary cooling water during continuous casting, the superheat is introduced into the water distribution for secondary cooling to design the relevant control system, based on the water distribution model, superheat and fuzzy self-adaptive PID (process identity) . A spray cooling system is set up for simulation test in laboratory to test the step signal from the conventional, integral sepa rated and fuzzy self-adaptive PID controllers and the simulation casting. And the on-site test is done in some steel plant. The test results show that the fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller's performance is better than that of the other two controllers, which provides a basis for further study and application.

文摘Cooperative jamming weapon-target assignment (CJWTA) problem is a key issue in electronic countermeasures (ECM). Some symbols which relevant to the CJWTA are defined firstly. Then, a formulation of jamming fitness is presented. Final y, a model of the CJWTA problem is constructed. In order to solve the CJWTA problem efficiently, a self-adaptive learning based discrete differential evolution (SLDDE) algorithm is proposed by introduc-ing a self-adaptive learning mechanism into the traditional discrete differential evolution algorithm. The SLDDE algorithm steers four candidate solution generation strategies simultaneously in the framework of the self-adaptive learning mechanism. Computa-tional simulations are conducted on ten test instances of CJWTA problem. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed SLDDE algorithm not only can generate better results than only one strategy based discrete differential algorithms, but also outper-forms two algorithms which are proposed recently for the weapon-target assignment problems.

文摘The control design, based on self-adaptive PID with genetic algorithms(GA) tuning on-line was investigated, for the temperature control of industrial microwave drying rotary device with the multi-layer(IMDRDWM) and with multivariable nonlinear interaction of microwave and materials. The conventional PID control strategy incorporated with optimization GA was put forward to maintain the optimum drying temperature in order to keep the moisture content below 1%, whose adaptation ability included the cost function of optimization GA according to the output change. Simulations on five different industrial process models and practical temperature process control system for selenium-enriched slag drying intensively by using IMDRDWM were carried out systematically, indicating the reliability and effectiveness of control design. The parameters of proposed control design are all on-line implemented without iterative predictive calculations, and the closed-loop system stability is guaranteed, which makes the developed scheme simpler in its synthesis and application, providing the practical guidelines for the control implementation and the parameter design.

文摘A self-adaptive differential evolution neutron spectrum unfolding algorithm(SDENUA)is established in this study to unfold the neutron spectra obtained from a water-pumping-injection multilayered concentric sphere neutron spectrometer(WMNS).Specifically,the neutron fluence bounds are estimated to accelerate the algorithm convergence,and the minimum error between the optimal solution and input neutron counts with relative uncertainties is limited to 10^(-6)to avoid unnecessary calculations.Furthermore,the crossover probability and scaling factor are self-adaptively controlled.FLUKA Monte Carlo is used to simulate the readings of the WMNS under(1)a spectrum of Cf-252 and(2)its spectrum after being moderated,(3)a spectrum used for boron neutron capture therapy,and(4)a reactor spectrum.Subsequently,the measured neutron counts are unfolded using the SDENUA.The uncertainties of the measured neutron count and the response matrix are considered in the SDENUA,which does not require complex parameter tuning or an a priori default spectrum.The results indicate that the solutions of the SDENUA agree better with the IAEA spectra than those of MAXED and GRAVEL in UMG 3.1,and the errors of the final results calculated using the SDENUA are less than 12%.The established SDENUA can be used to unfold spectra from the WMNS.

文摘Double self-adaptive fuzzy PID algorithm-based control strategy was proposed to construct quasi-cascade control system to control the speed of the acid-pickling process of titanium plates and strips. It is very useful in overcoming non-linear dynamic behavior, uncertain and time-varying parameters, un-modeled dynamics, and couples between the automatic turbulence control (ATC) and the automatic acid temperature control (AATC) with varying parameters during the operation process. The quasi-cascade control system of inner and outer loop self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller was built, which could effectively control the pickling speed of plates and strips. The simulated results and real application indicate that the plates and strips acid pickling speed control system has good performances of adaptively tracking the parameter variations and anti-disturbances, which ensures the match of acid pickling temperature and turbulence of flowing with acid pickling speed, improving the surface quality of plates and strips acid pickling, and energy efficiency.
