However, it has caused varieties of problems, such as resource unreasonable utilization, society unfair play, and environment pollution, etc. Thus, the establishment of an efficient and sustainable space partition model for tourism urbanization, from the geographical perspective, is highly necessary and urgent. Herein, a new evaluation model of tourist town space, referred to as Tourism Sectorization Opportunity Spectrum(TSOS), is established on the relationships between productionliving-ecology spaces. TSOS is a kind of quantitative evaluation model involving such factors as urban living area, ecological conservation area and the tourism industry. Furthermore, the analysis of quantitative production-living-ecology spatial overlap has been utilized for space division in a tourism urbanization area. This paper, using both the TSOS model and GIS technology, analyzes the spatial restructure of the Mayangxi ecotourism area. Theresult demonstrates that tourism industrial space takes the Shanchong Village as a core which shows a pattern of local regional agglomeration and a fuzzy edge extending along the entire Mayangxi River. The urban living area should be consolidated in the Shili village with the supporting facilities and living space for tourism. In addition, Tianzhu Mountain forest park should be the key environmental protection area. The case study on the Mayangxi ecotourism area verifies that the TSOS model has strong operability. Therefore, TSOS model provides a scientific foundation for the space reconstruction of new urbanization area, and an effective tool for optimizing the space partition of a tourism urbanization area.展开更多

Then the DAS problem is ...This paper deals with dynamic airspace sectorization (DAS) problem by an improved genetic algorithm (iGA). A graph model is first constructed that represents the airspace static structure. Then the DAS problem is formulated as a graph-partitioning problem to balance the sector workload under the premise of ensuring safety. In the iGA, multiple populations and hybrid coding are applied to determine the optimal sector number and airspace sectorization. The sector constraints are well satisfied by the improved genetic operators and protect zones. This method is validated by being applied to the airspace of North China in terms of three indexes, which are sector balancing index, coordination workload index and sector average flight time index. The improvement is obvious, as the sector balancing index is reduced by 16.5 %, the coordination workload index is reduced by 11.2 %, and the sector average flight time index is increased by 11.4 % during the peak-hour traffic.展开更多

The network densif ication technology is recognized as one promising solution. However,the ultra-dense network scheme suffers from severe interference and frequent handovers,which degrade the system performance significantly. In this paper,a virtual sectorization system leveraging a C-plane(control signaling plane) and U-plane(user data plane) split scheme is proposed to overcome these two fundamental problems. Besides,a well-designed fi eld trial is conducted to evaluate its performance. The results show that the interference can be avoided,which leads to a tremendous increase in system capacity. In addition,the number of handovers is also greatly decreased. Thus,the trial results verify the huge potential of the C-plane and U-plane split scheme for system capacity and user experience enhancements.展开更多

This study proposes the use of a novel integrated framework for 2D en route airspace sub-sectorization.The integrated framework combines the multi-commodity flow optimization approach,complex network cluster-ing appro...This study proposes the use of a novel integrated framework for 2D en route airspace sub-sectorization.The integrated framework combines the multi-commodity flow optimization approach,complex network cluster-ing approach,and Minimum Bounding Geometry(MBG)-coupled Rule-based Approach for boundary design.A decomposition-based discrete particle swarm optimization(DPSO)is used to solve the clustering problem.The output of the flow optimization is used as a guiding standard for the DPSO.Experimentations were performed using the Indian airspace sector to validate the framework and DPSO was run for different maximum number of generations(maxgen).The findings reveal that the multi-commodity flow approach captures system-wide flow operations.Clustering results corresponding to maxgen=100 and maxgen=150 perform best in terms of equitable and balanced distribution of cluster size and traffic load.The MBG-coupled Rule-based Approach leads to com-pact and convex sub-sector boundary design.Major implications of this research include dynamic adaptability of the integrated framework,increased sensitivity of sector design to network evolution,and a computationally tractable framework.The higher controllability of the proposed framework also offers an increased acceptance among practitioners.展开更多

This study evaluates the use of predictive analytics to forecast customer turnover in subscription-based Services in order to develop a predictive model to help small and medium-sized enterprises manage customer churn...This study evaluates the use of predictive analytics to forecast customer turnover in subscription-based Services in order to develop a predictive model to help small and medium-sized enterprises manage customer churn in the face of digital disruption.The research uses a quantitative approach focusing on empirical customer data to accurately predict buying trends and adapt marketing techniques.Demand forecasts in the health sector are important,as in every sector.In particular,the material forecast and stock forecasting of the purchasing unit of hospitals are among the areas that receive significant attention.Four classifiers(Random Forest,Logistic Regression,Gradient Boosting and XGBoost)are trained and evaluated using various performance indicators as part of a systematic approach involving Kaggle data collection,preparation and model selection.The results show excellent accuracy in predicting customer attrition,but there are limitations in precision and recall,indicating room for improvement.Confusion matrices provide information about the performance of each classifier,allowing for continuous improvement of predictive analytics techniques.Ethical concerns are rigorously addressed throughout the work process to guarantee appropriate data and machine learning methodologies.The proposals emphasize the proactive use of predictive analytics to identify at-risk customers and implement targeted retention strategies.Incorporating new data sources,improving customer experience,and utilizing collaborative churn management methods are recommended to increase forecast accuracy and business outcomes.Finally,this research provides important insights into the usefulness of predictive analytics for customer churn forecasting as well as practical recommendations for businesses seeking to increase customer retention and reduce churn risk.By leveraging empirical research findings and implementing ethical and rigorous churn control strategies,businesses can achieve long-term success in today’s changing market environment.展开更多

The thaw-freezing transition period is crucial to determine the initial sea ice status prior to the freezing season.The heat and mass balance at ice-ocean interface is the major driving process.In this study,we analyz...The thaw-freezing transition period is crucial to determine the initial sea ice status prior to the freezing season.The heat and mass balance at ice-ocean interface is the major driving process.In this study,we analyze heat fluxes profile through the ice from ice surface down to basal ice-ocean interface using the data measured by 11 thermistor stringbased ice mass balance buoys(IMBs)between September and December 2018 in the Pacific sector of Arctic Ocean.The conductive heat fluxes gradually decreased from surface downward through the lower ice layers due to the thermal inertia and energy storage in the brine pockets.At the ice bottom,the oceanic heat flux decreased from(5.9±1.3)W/m^(2)in mid-September to(1.8±0.8)W/m^(2)by the end of December in response to the decreasing of available absorbed solar radiation regulated by the latitude and sea ice concentration.The initial ice thicknesses can explain the onset of ice basal growth by 44.8%(R^(2)).From 15 September to the average onset of ice basal growth by 13 November,the accumulated heat fluxes released from the ice surface to the atmosphere,caused by the cooling of the ice layer,and from the ocean to the ice bottom were estimated as 25.73 MJ/m^(2),6.49 MJ/m^(2),and 20.30 MJ/m^(2),respectively.The latter two components mainly play the roles in buffering the onset of ice basal growth.展开更多

文摘The automotive sector is crucial in modern society,facilitating essential transportation needs across personal,commercial,and logistical domains while significantly contributing to national economic development and employment generation.The transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence(AI)has revolutionised multiple facets of the automotive industry,encompassing intelligent manufacturing processes,diagnostic systems,control mechanisms,supply chain operations,customer service platforms,and traffic management solutions.While extensive research exists on the above aspects of AI applications in automotive contexts,there is a compelling need to synthesise this knowledge comprehensively to guide and inspire future research.This review introduces a novel taxonomic framework that provides a holistic perspective on AI integration into the automotive sector,focusing on next-generation AI methods and their critical implementation aspects.Additionally,the proposed conceptual framework for real-time condition monitoring of electric vehicle subsystems delivers actionable maintenance recommendations to stakeholders,addressing a critical gap in the field.The review highlights that AI has significantly expedited the development of autonomous vehicles regarding navigation,decision-making,and safety features through the use of advanced algorithms and deep learning structures.Furthermore,it identifies advanced driver assistance systems,vehicle health monitoring,and predictive maintenance as the most impactful AI applications,transforming operational safety and maintenance efficiency in modern automotive technologies.The work is beneficial to understanding the various use cases of AI in the different automotive domains,where AI maintains a state-of-the-art for sector-specific applications,providing a strong foundation for meeting Industry 4.0 needs and encouraging AI use among more nascent industry segments.The current work is intended to consolidate previous works while shedding some light on future research directions in promoting further growth of AI-based innovations in the scope of automotive applications.

文摘This study evaluates the use of predictive analytics to forecast customer turnover in subscription-based Services in order to develop a predictive model to help small and medium-sized enterprises manage customer churn in the face of digital disruption.The research uses a quantitative approach focusing on empirical customer data to accurately predict buying trends and adapt marketing techniques.Demand forecasts in the health sector are important,as in every sector.In particular,the material forecast and stock forecasting of the purchasing unit of hospitals are among the areas that receive significant attention.Four classifiers(Random Forest,Logistic Regression,Gradient Boosting and XGBoost)are trained and evaluated using various performance indicators as part of a systematic approach involving Kaggle data collection,preparation and model selection.The results show excellent accuracy in predicting customer attrition,but there are limitations in precision and recall,indicating room for improvement.Confusion matrices provide information about the performance of each classifier,allowing for continuous improvement of predictive analytics techniques.Ethical concerns are rigorously addressed throughout the work process to guarantee appropriate data and machine learning methodologies.The proposals emphasize the proactive use of predictive analytics to identify at-risk customers and implement targeted retention strategies.Incorporating new data sources,improving customer experience,and utilizing collaborative churn management methods are recommended to increase forecast accuracy and business outcomes.Finally,this research provides important insights into the usefulness of predictive analytics for customer churn forecasting as well as practical recommendations for businesses seeking to increase customer retention and reduce churn risk.By leveraging empirical research findings and implementing ethical and rigorous churn control strategies,businesses can achieve long-term success in today’s changing market environment.

文摘This study analyzes the impact of profitability,firm size,and capital structure on firm value within the manufacturing sector.Utilizing a descriptive literature-based method,this research synthesizes various findings from previous studies to provide a comprehensive overview of the relationships among these variables.Profitability,often measured by Return on Assets(ROA)or Return on Equity(ROE),is expected to have a positive relationship with firm value as it reflects a company’s ability to generate profits.Firm size,measured by total assets or the logarithm of sales,is also assumed to influence firm value,both through economies of scale and better access to capital markets.Meanwhile,capital structure,measured by Debt to Equity Ratio(DER)or Debt to Asset Ratio(DAR),has a complex impact;while debt can enhance firm value through tax shields,excessive debt levels can increase financial risk and potentially decrease firm value.The synthesis of literature indicates a general consensus on the importance of profitability and firm size in shaping firm value,though there is variation in the significance and direction of the relationship for capital structure variables.This study provides important implications for company managers and investors in making strategic decisions related to resource allocation and selecting an optimal capital structure to enhance firm value.

文摘The thaw-freezing transition period is crucial to determine the initial sea ice status prior to the freezing season.The heat and mass balance at ice-ocean interface is the major driving process.In this study,we analyze heat fluxes profile through the ice from ice surface down to basal ice-ocean interface using the data measured by 11 thermistor stringbased ice mass balance buoys(IMBs)between September and December 2018 in the Pacific sector of Arctic Ocean.The conductive heat fluxes gradually decreased from surface downward through the lower ice layers due to the thermal inertia and energy storage in the brine pockets.At the ice bottom,the oceanic heat flux decreased from(5.9±1.3)W/m^(2)in mid-September to(1.8±0.8)W/m^(2)by the end of December in response to the decreasing of available absorbed solar radiation regulated by the latitude and sea ice concentration.The initial ice thicknesses can explain the onset of ice basal growth by 44.8%(R^(2)).From 15 September to the average onset of ice basal growth by 13 November,the accumulated heat fluxes released from the ice surface to the atmosphere,caused by the cooling of the ice layer,and from the ocean to the ice bottom were estimated as 25.73 MJ/m^(2),6.49 MJ/m^(2),and 20.30 MJ/m^(2),respectively.The latter two components mainly play the roles in buffering the onset of ice basal growth.
