A novel vector magnetic measurement system calibration method based on geomagnetic variation

Vector magnetic measurement is increasingly widely used.In order to improve the accuracy of vector magnetic measurement system on board a vehicle,researchers have proposed various calibration methods.Most of them require altering the magnetic vector in the vehicle coordinate system.Exploring the use of geomagnetic variation to change the geomagnetic vector in the vehicle coordinate system,this paper proposes a novel vector magnetic measurement calibration method.In this method,a vector magnetometer mounted on a vehicle and an accurate vector magnetometer separately measure the geomagnetic field at diff erent locations within the same area.Based on the physical principle that the geomagnetic variation at two nearby locations is equal,the calibration parameters of the magnetometer on the vehicle can be determined through a set of equations containing the measurements from the two magnetometers.The theoretical derivation and simulation experiment results demonstrate the feasibility of this method.Therefore,it can serve as a new alternative calibration method,especially in scenarios where a high degree of accuracy in the estimation of calibration parameters is not required. 展开更多

The state-vector equation of magnetoelectroelastic plates was derived from the proposed theorem by performing the variational operations. To lay a theoretical basis of the semi-analytical solution applied with the magnetoelectroelastic plates, the state-vector equation for the discrete element in plane was proposed through the use of the proposed principle. Finally, it is pointed out that the modified H-R mixed variational principle for pure elastic, single piezoelectric or single piezomagnetic bodies are the special cases of the present variational theorem. 展开更多

The gap functions are useful tools in deriving the error bounds which provide an estimated distance between a specific point and the exact solution of variational inequality problem. In this paper, we follow a similar approach for set-valued vector quasi variational inequality problems and define the gap functions based on scalarization scheme as well as the one with no scalar parameter. The error bounds results are obtained under fixed point symmetric and locally α-Holder assumptions on the set-valued map describing the domain of solution space of a set-valued vector quasi variational inequality problem. 展开更多

A simple yet efficient approach, called Interframe Variation Vector (IW), is proposed. IW considers the spatiotemporal motion characteristic of gait, and uses the shape variation information between successive frames to represent gait signature. Different from other features, IVV rather than condenses a gait sequence into single image resulting in spatial sequence lost; it records the whole moving process in an IVV sequence. IVV can encode whole essential features of gait and preserve all the movements of limbs. Experimental results show that the proposed gait representation has a promising recognition performance. 展开更多

Moreover, a number of C-diagonal quasiconvexity properties are proposed for set-valued maps, which are natural generalizations of the g-diagonal quasiconvexity for real functions. Together with an application of continuous selection and fixed-point theorems, these conditions enable us to prove unified existence results of solutions for the system of generalized vector quasi-variational-like inequalities. Affected by external environmental factors and evolution of dam performance, dam seepage behavior shows nonlinear time-varying characteristics. In this study, to predict and evaluate the long-term development trend and short-term fluctuation of the dam seepage behavior, two monitoring models were developed, one for the base flow effect and one for daily variation of dam seepage elements. In the first model, to avoid the influence of the time lag effect on the evaluation of seepage variation with the time effect component of seepage elements, the base values of the seepage element and the reservoir water level were extracted using the wavelet multi-resolution analysis method, and the time effect component was separated by the established base flow effect monitoring model. For the development of the daily variation monitoring model for dam seepage elements, all the previous factors, of which the measured time series prior to the dam seepage element monitoring time may have certain influence on the monitored results, were considered. Those factors that were positively correlated with the analyzed seepage element were initially considered to be the support vector machine(SVM) model input factors, and then the SVM kernel function-based sensitivity analysis was performed to optimize the input factor set and establish the optimized daily variation SVM model. The efficiency and rationality of the two models were verified by case studies of the water level of two piezometric tubes buried under the slope of a concrete gravity dam.Sensitivity analysis of the optimized SVM model shows that the influences of the daily variation of the upstream reservoir water level and rainfall on the daily variation of piezometric tube water level are processes subject to normal distribution. 展开更多

In this paper,a robust adaptive controller is designed for a guided spinning rocket,whose dynamics presents the characteristics of pitch-yaw cross coupling,fast time-varying aerodynamics parameters and wide flight envelop.First,a coupled nonlinear six-degree-of-freedom equation of motion for a guided spinning rocket is developed,and the lateral acceleration motion is modeled as a control plant with time-varying matched uncertainties and unmodeled dynamics.Then,a robust adaptive control method is proposed by combining Bregman divergence and variational method to achieve fast adaption and maintain bounded tracking.The stability of the resulting closed-loop system is proved,and the ultimate bound and convergence rate are also analyzed.Finally,numerical simulations are performed for a single operating point and the whole flight trajectory to show the robustness and adaptability of the proposed method with respect to timevarying uncertainties and unmodeled dynamics. 展开更多

The algorithm is a convex combination of the ROF model and the LLT model with a parameter function 0. The numerical experiments demonstrate that our compound algorithm is efficient and preserves the main advantages of the two models. In particular, the errors of the compound algorithm in L2 norm between the exact images and corresponding restored images are the smallest among the three models. For images with strong noises, the restored images of the compound algorithm are the best in the corresponding restored images. The proposed algorithm combines the fixed point method, an improved AMG method and the Krylov acceleration. It is found that the combination of these methods is efficient and robust in the image restoration. 展开更多

Single nucletide polymorphism(SNP)is an important factor for the study of genetic variation in human families and animal and plant strains.Therefore,it is widely used in the study of population genetics and disease related gene.In pharmacogenomics research,identifying the association between SNP site and drug is the key to clinical precision medication,therefore,a predictive model of SNP site and drug association based on denoising variational auto-encoder(DVAE-SVM)is proposed.Firstly,k-mer algorithm is used to construct the initial SNP site feature vector,meanwhile,MACCS molecular fingerprint is introduced to generate the feature vector of the drug module.Then,we use the DVAE to extract the effective features of the initial feature vector of the SNP site.Finally,the effective feature vector of the SNP site and the feature vector of the drug module are fused input to the support vector machines(SVM)to predict the relationship of SNP site and drug module.The results of five-fold cross-validation experiments indicate that the proposed algorithm performs better than random forest(RF)and logistic regression(LR)classification.Further experiments show that compared with the feature extraction algorithms of principal component analysis(PCA),denoising auto-encoder(DAE)and variational auto-encode(VAE),the proposed algorithm has better prediction results. 展开更多

In this paper the characteristics of Sq variation of geomagnetic field in the region of the Chinese Great Wall Station (CGWS), Antarctica, in winter are analyzed from geomagnetic data obtained at the Geomagnetic Observatory of CGWS. The result enables us to reveal the following aspects: (1) The pattern of Sq variation at CGWS in early (Apr.) and Late winter (Sep.) is similar to that at Beijing Geomagnetic Observatory (BJO) at the middle latitude in the Northern Hemisphere. It may be controlled by the midlatitudinal ionospheric dynamo current. Amplitude of Sq variation is very small, and the harmonics in 8 hours or shorter periods in midwinter (June and July) is predominant because of the decreased effect of solar ultraviolet radiation and the dominant geomagnetic disturbance at high latitudes. (2) The vectors of Sq-equivalent current in the daytime are about five times more than that in the night. The direction of the vectors is clockwise in the daytime (08-15h) and counterclockwise in the night in early and late winter. Both of the vectors are very small because of the effect of the current density in the ionosphere is relatively weak in midwinter. The direction of vectors of Sq-equivalent current at CGWS in early and late winter is different from that in midwinter. It may be affected by the ionospheric current and field-aligned current in the polar region. 展开更多

To effectively extract multi-scale information from observation data and improve computational efficiency,a multi-scale second-order autoregressive recursive filter(MSRF)method is designed.The second-order autoregressive filter used in this study has been attempted to replace the traditional first-order recursive filter used in spatial multi-scale recursive filter(SMRF)method.The experimental results indicate that the MSRF scheme successfully extracts various scale information resolved by observations.Moreover,compared with the SMRF scheme,the MSRF scheme improves computational accuracy and efficiency to some extent.The MSRF scheme can not only propagate to a longer distance without the attenuation of innovation,but also reduce the mean absolute deviation between the reconstructed sea ice concentration results and observations reduced by about 3.2%compared to the SMRF scheme.On the other hand,compared with traditional first-order recursive filters using in the SMRF scheme that multiple filters are executed,the MSRF scheme only needs to perform two filter processes in one iteration,greatly improving filtering efficiency.In the two-dimensional experiment of sea ice concentration,the calculation time of the MSRF scheme is only 1/7 of that of SMRF scheme.This means that the MSRF scheme can achieve better performance with less computational cost,which is of great significance for further application in real-time ocean or sea ice data assimilation systems in the future. 展开更多
