Magnesium titanate was prepared directly through external coal reduction of seashore titanomagnetite concentrate and magnesium oxide(MgO).The effects of roasting temperature and the type and dosage of reductants on th...Magnesium titanate was prepared directly through external coal reduction of seashore titanomagnetite concentrate and magnesium oxide(MgO).The effects of roasting temperature and the type and dosage of reductants on the purity of generated magnesium titanate particles were systematically investigated.Scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy analyses were performed to characterize the magnesium titanate particles and observe their purity under different conditions.Results showed that the roasting temperature remarkably influenced the purity of magnesium titanate.At 1200,1300,and 1400℃,some magnesium ferrite and magnesium aluminate spinel were dissolved in magnesium titanate.However,as the roasting temperature increased to 1500℃,relatively pure magnesium titanate particles were generated because no magnesium ferrite was dissolved in them.The type and dosage of the reductants also remarkably affected the purity of magnesium titanate.The amount of fine metallic iron disseminated in the magnesium titanate particles obviously decreased when lignite was used as a reductant at a dosage of 70wt%.Thus,high-purity magnesium titanate particles formed.At a roasting temperature of 1500℃and with 70wt%lignite,the magnesium titanate product with a yield of 30.63%and an iron content of 3.01wt%was obtained through magnetic separation.展开更多

In addition to being secondary, over-inclusi...Inferences of subtle cerebral injury and dysfunction have been historically dependent upon psychometric tests from which clinical neuropsychological profiles are generated. In addition to being secondary, over-inclusive and crude indicators of cerebral activity, psychometric tests are subject to economic incentives to “re-norm” traditional methods under the pretense of “ensuring” contemporary representations that are sanctioned by regulating organizations dominated by agendas of control over the interpretations of clinicians. The validity of neuropsychological tests is essential for their perspicacious application and interpretations. We measured the quantitative electroen-cephalographic profiles and calculated s-LORETA (standardized Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography) profiles in real time for normal men and women while they engaged in both traditional and novel neuropsychological tests that were employed to infer localized brain injury. Conspicuous alterations in source current density within specific frequency bands occurred within various regions of the right prefrontal region during performance of the Category, Design Fluency and Conditioned Spatial Association Test, the prefrontal medial surface during Toe Graphaesthesia, the caudal medial surface during Toe Gnosis, the left temporal region during Speech-Sounds, and within the right retrosplenial-parahippocampal region for Seashore Rhythms. Results supported the well established regional associations with the classic neuropsychological tests, verified the cerebral localization with more recent procedures, and emphasized the utility of modern real-time, direct cerebral imaging procedures.展开更多
Lu Yin庐隐(1898-1934)was a leading“new woman”,and she had scaled the heights of her writing profession in mid-Republican China.In her short 36-year life,she published over 200 works in all,including novels,essays,pr...Lu Yin庐隐(1898-1934)was a leading“new woman”,and she had scaled the heights of her writing profession in mid-Republican China.In her short 36-year life,she published over 200 works in all,including novels,essays,proses and travelogues.As the first May Fourth female writer who touched upon the theme of homosexuality and depicted a lesbian story without reservation,Lu Yin created a short story“The Diary of Lishi”in which she narrated the love between Lishi and her same-sex partner Yuanqing;but this finally ended in tragedy,which implied Lu Yin’s deconstruction of binary gender order.Meanwhile,this paper distinguishes“Old Friends on the Seashore”from lesbian or quasi-lesbian stories and argued that this fiction was more in terms of female same-sex camaraderie instead of lesbian love.展开更多
