BACKGROUND Four-dimensional(4D)flow magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is used as a noninvasive modality for assessing hemodynamic information with neurovascular and body applications.The application of 4D flow MRI for as...BACKGROUND Four-dimensional(4D)flow magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is used as a noninvasive modality for assessing hemodynamic information with neurovascular and body applications.The application of 4D flow MRI for assessment of bowel disease in children has not been previously described.AIM To determine feasibility of superior mesenteric venous and arterial flow quantitation in pediatric patients using 4D flow MRI.METHODS Nine pediatric patients(7-14 years old,5 male and 4 female)with history or suspicion of bowel pathology,who underwent magnetic resonance(MR)enterography with 4D flow MR protocol from November 2022 to October 2023.Field strength/sequence:3T MRI using 4D flow MR protocol.Flow velocity and peak speed measurements were performed by two diagnostic radiologists placing the region of interest in perpendicular plane to blood flow on each cross section of superior mesenteric artery(SMA)and superior mesenteric vein(SMV)at three predetermined levels.Bland-Altman analysis,showed good agreement of flow velocity and peak speed measurements of SMV and SMA between two readers.RESULTS Mean SMV flow velocity increased from proximal to mid to distal(0.14 L/minute,0.17 L/minute,0.22 L/minute respectively).Mean SMA flow velocity decreased from proximal to mid to distal(0.35 L/minute,0.27 L/minute,0.21 L/minute respectively).Observed agreement was good for flow velocity measurements of SMV(mean bias-0.01 L/minute and 95%limits of agreement,-0.09 to 0.08 L/minute)and SMA(mean bias-0.03 L/minute and 95%limits of agreement,-0.23 to 0.17 L/minute)between two readers.Good agreement for peak speed measurements of SMV(mean bias-1.2 cm/second and 95%limits of agreement,-9.4 to 7.0 cm/second)and SMA(mean bias-3.2 cm/second and 95%limits of agreement,-31.4 to 24.9 cm/second).CONCLUSION Flow quantitation using 4D Flow is feasible to provide hemodynamic information for SMV and SMA in children.展开更多
BACKGROUND The root of mesentery dissection is one of the critical maneuvers,especially in borderline resectable pancreatic head cancer.Intra-abdominal chyle leak(CL)including chylous ascites may ensue in up to 10%of ...BACKGROUND The root of mesentery dissection is one of the critical maneuvers,especially in borderline resectable pancreatic head cancer.Intra-abdominal chyle leak(CL)including chylous ascites may ensue in up to 10%of patients after pancreatic resections.Globally recognized superior mesenteric artery(SMA)first approaches are invariably performed.The mesenteric dissection through the inferior infracolic approach has been discussed in this study emphasizing its post-operative impact on CL which is the cornerstone of this study.AIM To assess incidence,risk factors,clinical impact of CL following root of mesentery dissection,and the different treatment modalities.METHODS This is a retrospective study incorporating the patients who underwent dissection of the root of mesentery with inferior infracolic SMA first approach pancreat-oduodenectomy for the ventral body and uncinate mass of pancreas in the Department of Gastrointestinal and General Surgery of Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital from January 1,2021 to February 28,2024.Intraop-erative findings and postoperative outcomes were analyzed.RESULTS In three years,ten patients underwent root of mesentery dissection with inferior infracolic SMA first approach pancreatoduodenectomy.The mean age was 67.6 years with a male-to-female ratio of 4:5.CL was seen in four patients.With virtue of CL,Clavien-Dindo grade Ⅱ or higher morbidity was observed in four patients.Two patients had a hospital stay of more than 20 days with the former having a delayed gastric emptying and the latter with long-term total parenteral nutrition requirement.The mean operative time was 330 minutes.Curative resection was achieved in 100%of the patients.The mean duration of the intensive care unit and hospital stay were 2.55±1.45 days and 15.7±5.32 days,respectively.CONCLUSION Root of mesentery dissection with lymphadenectomy and vascular resection correlated with occurrence of CL.After complete curative resection,these were managed with total parenteral nutrition without adversely impacting outcome.展开更多
BACKGROUND Sleeve fracture of the patella is an unusual fracture,almost unique to children.The majority of sleeve fractures involve the inferior patellar pole.However,sleeve fractures of the superior pole of the patel...BACKGROUND Sleeve fracture of the patella is an unusual fracture,almost unique to children.The majority of sleeve fractures involve the inferior patellar pole.However,sleeve fractures of the superior pole of the patella are extremely rare in adults.CASE SUMMARY An 18-year-old male patient fell while running in the morning.The patient had tenderness to palpation at the superior pole of the patella,with a palpable gap over the upper part of the patella in both knees.We applied two 4.5-mm suture anchors with the Krackow stitch to repair the sleeve fracture,augmented by autogenous gracilis through performing the figure-of-eight technique.The patient regained approximately the full range of motion of the knee joint without any quadriceps weakness and a normal gait 6 weeks after surgery.CONCLUSION Sleeve fractures of the superior pole of the patella are extremely rare in adults,especially bilateral sleeve fractures.Suture anchors,augmented by autogenous gracilis,provided secure fixation and achieved excellent results in this rare injury.展开更多
Layered ammonium vanadate has become a promising cathode material for aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs)due to its small mass and large ionic radius of ammonium ions as well as the consequent large layer spacing and hig...Layered ammonium vanadate has become a promising cathode material for aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs)due to its small mass and large ionic radius of ammonium ions as well as the consequent large layer spacing and high specific capacity.However,the irreversible de-ammoniation caused by N·H···O bonds damaged would impair cycle life of ZIBs and the strong electrostatic interaction between Zn^(2+)and V-O frame could slower the mobility of Zn^(2+).Furthermore,the thermal instability of ammonium vanadate also limits the use of common carbon coating modification method to solve the problem.Herein,V_(2)CT_(X)MXene was innovatively selected as a bifunctional source to in-situ derivatized(NH_(4))_(2)V_(8)O_(20)·x H_(2)O with amorphous carbon-coated(NHVO@C)via one-step hydrothermal method in relatively moderate temperature.The amorphous carbon shell derived from the V_(2)CT_(X)MXene as a conductive framework to effectively improve the diffusion kinetics of Zn^(2+)and the robust carbon skeleton could alleviate the ammonium dissolution during long-term cycling.As a result,zinc ion batteries using NHVO@C as cathode exhibit superior electrochemical performance.Moreover,the assembled foldable or high loading(10.2 mg/cm^(2))soft-packed ZIBs further demonstrates its practical application.This study provided new insights into the development of the carbon cladding process for thermally unstable materials in moderate temperatures.展开更多

BACKGROUND The trigeminal nerve(TN)is frequently implicated in neurovascular conflicts,most commonly with the superior cerebellar artery(SCA),its predominant arterial counterpart in the cerebellopontine angle.AIM To e...BACKGROUND The trigeminal nerve(TN)is frequently implicated in neurovascular conflicts,most commonly with the superior cerebellar artery(SCA),its predominant arterial counterpart in the cerebellopontine angle.AIM To examine the relationship between the SCA and TN utilizing high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging and evaluated whether particular anatomical configurations predispose to clinically significant contact.METHODS Magnetic resonance imaging scans from 80 patients(160 sides)were retrospectively analyzed,excluding cases with pathological processes affecting the TN.Using multiplanar reconstruction,the TN root was identified and its spatial relationship with the SCA was evaluated.RESULTS Eight distinct topographic patterns were identified.The SCA most commonly coursed superior(30.6%),lateral(18.8%),or superolateral(17.5%)to the TN.Medial configurations,although less frequent,were associated with the shortest artery-nerve distance(mean 1.85±1.28 mm)and significantly higher contact rates(P<0.001).Overall,SCA-TN contact was observed in 14.4%of sides,but only 20%of these patients reported ipsilateral facial numbness.Variations in SCA origin(basilar artery,posterior cerebral artery,or common origin)and duplication did not significantly influence the artery-nerve distance.CONCLUSION Although SCA-TN contact is relatively frequent,only particular medial and superior configurations seem to predispose individuals to symptomatic compression.These observations are consistent with cadaveric and surgical evidence highlighting the significance of root entry zone contact in trigeminal neuralgia.Vascular contact alone should not serve as a diagnostic criterion;instead,geometric configuration and related nerve alterations must also be incorporated into preoperative assessment.展开更多
Barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)ranks as the fourth most cultivated cereal crop globally by planting area.Kernel characteristics,including grain length,grain width,and thousand-grain weight(TGW),are essential determinants o...Barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)ranks as the fourth most cultivated cereal crop globally by planting area.Kernel characteristics,including grain length,grain width,and thousand-grain weight(TGW),are essential determinants of barley yield and quality.The identification and cloning of genes related to kernel traits,along with the detection of superior alleles,are fundamental for marker-assisted selection in barley breeding.This study presents the cloning of HvGL7-2H from barley,based on the known rice GL7 gene.The functional significance of HvGL7-2H in grain length was confirmed through ethyl methane sulfonate(EMS)mutants of the barley landrace“Hatiexi”.A candidate gene-based association analysis was conducted using a panel of 363 barley accessions to identify superior haplotypes for HvGL7-2H.The analysis revealed that Hap3 represented the superior haplotype for both grain length and TGW,while Hap4 emerged as the superior haplotype for TGW.These findings indicate that genotypes carrying the superior allele serve as valuable genetic resources,and the molecular markers identified herein will facilitate grain size and yield improvement in barley breeding programs.展开更多
Objective:To explore the evidence-based nursing optimization strategy for catheter tip positioning during peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)insertion in patients with persistent left superior vena cava(PLSVC...Objective:To explore the evidence-based nursing optimization strategy for catheter tip positioning during peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)insertion in patients with persistent left superior vena cava(PLSVC).Methods:For one ovarian cancer patient with PICC malposition in the coronary sinus(CS)due to PLSVC,multimodal imaging techniques were integrated to accurately locate the catheter tip.The catheter position was adjusted based on evidence(withdrawing 5 cm),and a standardized nursing process was established,including personalized health education,catheter fixation and displacement monitoring,complication monitoring,establishment of a specialized disease information archive system,and formulation of a follow-up plan.Results:The catheter tip was successfully withdrawn from the coronary sinus(at the T8 level)to the middle and lower part of the PLSVC(at the T6 vertebral level),and the catheter functioned normally after adjustment.No complications such as arrhythmia or thrombosis occurred during the 332-day chemotherapy period.Conclusion:The PICC tip in PLSVC patients should be positioned in the middle and lower part of the PLSVC(at the T5–T7 vertebral level).This new standard can effectively avoid CS-related complications.The integration of multi-modal imaging techniques and evidence-based nursing management are key to ensuring safe infusion.展开更多
Objective:Strabismus is associated with a higher prevalence of idiopathic thoracic scoliosis(ITS)in children.This study aims to investigate whether superior oblique palsy(SOP)poses a higher risk for developing ITS amo...Objective:Strabismus is associated with a higher prevalence of idiopathic thoracic scoliosis(ITS)in children.This study aims to investigate whether superior oblique palsy(SOP)poses a higher risk for developing ITS among children and adolescents.Methods:A cross-sectional study.The study group comprised 347 consecutive candidates for SOP surgery aged 4 to 18 years;Patients within the same age range with ocular trauma were enrolled as the control group.Preoperative chest plain radiographs were used to measure the Cobb angle.Demographic information and clinical data,including diopter,best corrected visual acuity,deviation degree,and binocular function,were analyzed.Results:A significantly higher prevalence of ITS was found in study group compared with control group(12.68%vs 4.18%,P<0.001).Additionally,the mean Cobb angle was lagger in SOP group than that in control group(5.02°±3.87°vs 3.84°±3.09°,P<0.001).Males in SOP group showed a higher prevalence of ITS(12.9%vs 2.87%,P=0.007),but there was no significant difference in females between two groups(12.3%vs 7.69%,P=0.295).Good near stereopsis acuity was significantly associated with high prevalence of thoracic scoliosis(P<0.001).Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that a large distant magnitude of deviation(>20 PD)and near stereoacuity were significantly associated with ITS.Conclusions:Patients with SOP have a significantly higher risk of developing idiopathic thoracic scoliosis,especially those with good near stereoscopic and large distant magnitude of deviation.展开更多

[Result] 6-BA was the optimal cytokinin for tissue culture of Lonicera edulis Turcz, compared with ZT; modified MS+1.0 mg/L of 6-BA + 0.2 mg/L of IBA was the optimal medium as primary and subculture medium, modified MS+ 1.5 mg/L of IBA was the optimal medium for rooting of Lonicera edulis Turcz, the rooting rate had achieved 100% after cultured for 30 d. The optimal substrate for transplanting plantlets of Lonicera edulis Turcz was composed of humus and perlite (1∶ 1, V/V), survival rate was as high as 95% after 30 d. [Conclusion] This study provided basis for the rapid propagation of superior seedlings of Lonicera edulis Turcz, as well as the establishment of industrialized breeding technical system and the implementation of scale production.展开更多

Methods In 9 cases of SVS, primary lesions were all confirme...Objective To study the techniques and clinical applications of intra-vascular stenting in the treatment of superior vana cava obliteration syndrome (SVS). Methods In 9 cases of SVS, primary lesions were all confirmed as malignancy (primary pulmonary carcinoma of right upper lobe) histolo-pathologically. By route of right femoral vein, SVS catheterization and DSA was made. The length of the strictures and the diameters of normal superior vana cavae (SVC) were measured for the choice of appropriate stents. The option of stemt diameter is 10% larger than that of normal SVCs. The upper and lower ends of the stent should be 1–2 cm protruding from the ends of the stricture. The stent was dilated with a balloon after its successful placement. Therapy of original lesions was continued together with anticoagulant. Stents were observed about their positions by fluoroscopy or chest films, and about patency of SVC by Doppler. Results After the placement of a stent, DSA revealed the contrast media in the SVCs passed along smoothly, diameters of SVCs almost normal, collateral branches diminished remarkably. Average SVC pressure was decreased from 26.4 cmH2O before the placement down to 15.7 cmH2O, with an obvious difference (P<0.01= by statistics. Related clinical symptoms and signs disappeared or relieved. Subsidised were swelling of head and neck, upper extremities and chest. Excretion of urine increased. Gorgeous superficial veins in the chest could not be detected any more. Conclusion The therapy of intra-vascular stenting to treat SVS is microinvasive, simple and effective. The re- sults showed that the effect of sowing rate on inner-line wheat was greater than that on side-line wheat; with the increased sowing rate, the marginal superiority of panicle number was reduced in overall, and the difference in panicle number be- tween inner and side lines was decreased from 9.0×10^5/hm2 (sowing rate of 187.5 kg/hm2) to 7.8×10^5/hm2 (sowing rate of 375.0 kg/hm2); the marginal superiority of grains per spike was increased first and then reduced, and the largest difference in grains per spike between the inner and side lines reached 4.6 under the sowing rate of 300.0 kg/hm2; the marginal superiority of 1 000-grain weight and yield was gradually increased, and the largest difference in 1 000-grain weight between the inner and side lines reached 3.9 g under the sowing rate of 337.5 kg/hm2, and in yield reached 3 136.5 kg/hm2under the sowing rate of 375.0 kg/hm2. The effects of sowing rate on the three yield factors of intercropped wheat ranked as panicle number 〉 grains per spike 〉 1 000-grain weight. [Method] The two-year-old Cupressus funebris, from 4 provenances and 34 superior Cupressus funebris families introduced from Chongqing and Qiandao Lake of Zhejiang Province, was used as test material, and the differences in growth traits among provenances and families at the seedling stage of Cupressus funebris were investigated. [Result] The height and ground diameter of seedlings differed signifi- cantly among provenances and families. Their variation coefficients among families were 11.37% and 18.89%, and among provenances were 7.25% and 12.58% re- spectively. [Conclusion] There was relatively rich genetic variation in height and ground diameter among provenances and families of Cupressus funebris. It has a certain breeding potential.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Four-dimensional(4D)flow magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is used as a noninvasive modality for assessing hemodynamic information with neurovascular and body applications.The application of 4D flow MRI for assessment of bowel disease in children has not been previously described.AIM To determine feasibility of superior mesenteric venous and arterial flow quantitation in pediatric patients using 4D flow MRI.METHODS Nine pediatric patients(7-14 years old,5 male and 4 female)with history or suspicion of bowel pathology,who underwent magnetic resonance(MR)enterography with 4D flow MR protocol from November 2022 to October 2023.Field strength/sequence:3T MRI using 4D flow MR protocol.Flow velocity and peak speed measurements were performed by two diagnostic radiologists placing the region of interest in perpendicular plane to blood flow on each cross section of superior mesenteric artery(SMA)and superior mesenteric vein(SMV)at three predetermined levels.Bland-Altman analysis,showed good agreement of flow velocity and peak speed measurements of SMV and SMA between two readers.RESULTS Mean SMV flow velocity increased from proximal to mid to distal(0.14 L/minute,0.17 L/minute,0.22 L/minute respectively).Mean SMA flow velocity decreased from proximal to mid to distal(0.35 L/minute,0.27 L/minute,0.21 L/minute respectively).Observed agreement was good for flow velocity measurements of SMV(mean bias-0.01 L/minute and 95%limits of agreement,-0.09 to 0.08 L/minute)and SMA(mean bias-0.03 L/minute and 95%limits of agreement,-0.23 to 0.17 L/minute)between two readers.Good agreement for peak speed measurements of SMV(mean bias-1.2 cm/second and 95%limits of agreement,-9.4 to 7.0 cm/second)and SMA(mean bias-3.2 cm/second and 95%limits of agreement,-31.4 to 24.9 cm/second).CONCLUSION Flow quantitation using 4D Flow is feasible to provide hemodynamic information for SMV and SMA in children.
文摘BACKGROUND The root of mesentery dissection is one of the critical maneuvers,especially in borderline resectable pancreatic head cancer.Intra-abdominal chyle leak(CL)including chylous ascites may ensue in up to 10%of patients after pancreatic resections.Globally recognized superior mesenteric artery(SMA)first approaches are invariably performed.The mesenteric dissection through the inferior infracolic approach has been discussed in this study emphasizing its post-operative impact on CL which is the cornerstone of this study.AIM To assess incidence,risk factors,clinical impact of CL following root of mesentery dissection,and the different treatment modalities.METHODS This is a retrospective study incorporating the patients who underwent dissection of the root of mesentery with inferior infracolic SMA first approach pancreat-oduodenectomy for the ventral body and uncinate mass of pancreas in the Department of Gastrointestinal and General Surgery of Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital from January 1,2021 to February 28,2024.Intraop-erative findings and postoperative outcomes were analyzed.RESULTS In three years,ten patients underwent root of mesentery dissection with inferior infracolic SMA first approach pancreatoduodenectomy.The mean age was 67.6 years with a male-to-female ratio of 4:5.CL was seen in four patients.With virtue of CL,Clavien-Dindo grade Ⅱ or higher morbidity was observed in four patients.Two patients had a hospital stay of more than 20 days with the former having a delayed gastric emptying and the latter with long-term total parenteral nutrition requirement.The mean operative time was 330 minutes.Curative resection was achieved in 100%of the patients.The mean duration of the intensive care unit and hospital stay were 2.55±1.45 days and 15.7±5.32 days,respectively.CONCLUSION Root of mesentery dissection with lymphadenectomy and vascular resection correlated with occurrence of CL.After complete curative resection,these were managed with total parenteral nutrition without adversely impacting outcome.
文摘BACKGROUND Sleeve fracture of the patella is an unusual fracture,almost unique to children.The majority of sleeve fractures involve the inferior patellar pole.However,sleeve fractures of the superior pole of the patella are extremely rare in adults.CASE SUMMARY An 18-year-old male patient fell while running in the morning.The patient had tenderness to palpation at the superior pole of the patella,with a palpable gap over the upper part of the patella in both knees.We applied two 4.5-mm suture anchors with the Krackow stitch to repair the sleeve fracture,augmented by autogenous gracilis through performing the figure-of-eight technique.The patient regained approximately the full range of motion of the knee joint without any quadriceps weakness and a normal gait 6 weeks after surgery.CONCLUSION Sleeve fractures of the superior pole of the patella are extremely rare in adults,especially bilateral sleeve fractures.Suture anchors,augmented by autogenous gracilis,provided secure fixation and achieved excellent results in this rare injury.

文摘Layered ammonium vanadate has become a promising cathode material for aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs)due to its small mass and large ionic radius of ammonium ions as well as the consequent large layer spacing and high specific capacity.However,the irreversible de-ammoniation caused by N·H···O bonds damaged would impair cycle life of ZIBs and the strong electrostatic interaction between Zn^(2+)and V-O frame could slower the mobility of Zn^(2+).Furthermore,the thermal instability of ammonium vanadate also limits the use of common carbon coating modification method to solve the problem.Herein,V_(2)CT_(X)MXene was innovatively selected as a bifunctional source to in-situ derivatized(NH_(4))_(2)V_(8)O_(20)·x H_(2)O with amorphous carbon-coated(NHVO@C)via one-step hydrothermal method in relatively moderate temperature.The amorphous carbon shell derived from the V_(2)CT_(X)MXene as a conductive framework to effectively improve the diffusion kinetics of Zn^(2+)and the robust carbon skeleton could alleviate the ammonium dissolution during long-term cycling.As a result,zinc ion batteries using NHVO@C as cathode exhibit superior electrochemical performance.Moreover,the assembled foldable or high loading(10.2 mg/cm^(2))soft-packed ZIBs further demonstrates its practical application.This study provided new insights into the development of the carbon cladding process for thermally unstable materials in moderate temperatures.

文摘BACKGROUND The trigeminal nerve(TN)is frequently implicated in neurovascular conflicts,most commonly with the superior cerebellar artery(SCA),its predominant arterial counterpart in the cerebellopontine angle.AIM To examine the relationship between the SCA and TN utilizing high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging and evaluated whether particular anatomical configurations predispose to clinically significant contact.METHODS Magnetic resonance imaging scans from 80 patients(160 sides)were retrospectively analyzed,excluding cases with pathological processes affecting the TN.Using multiplanar reconstruction,the TN root was identified and its spatial relationship with the SCA was evaluated.RESULTS Eight distinct topographic patterns were identified.The SCA most commonly coursed superior(30.6%),lateral(18.8%),or superolateral(17.5%)to the TN.Medial configurations,although less frequent,were associated with the shortest artery-nerve distance(mean 1.85±1.28 mm)and significantly higher contact rates(P<0.001).Overall,SCA-TN contact was observed in 14.4%of sides,but only 20%of these patients reported ipsilateral facial numbness.Variations in SCA origin(basilar artery,posterior cerebral artery,or common origin)and duplication did not significantly influence the artery-nerve distance.CONCLUSION Although SCA-TN contact is relatively frequent,only particular medial and superior configurations seem to predispose individuals to symptomatic compression.These observations are consistent with cadaveric and surgical evidence highlighting the significance of root entry zone contact in trigeminal neuralgia.Vascular contact alone should not serve as a diagnostic criterion;instead,geometric configuration and related nerve alterations must also be incorporated into preoperative assessment.

文摘Barley(Hordeum vulgare L.)ranks as the fourth most cultivated cereal crop globally by planting area.Kernel characteristics,including grain length,grain width,and thousand-grain weight(TGW),are essential determinants of barley yield and quality.The identification and cloning of genes related to kernel traits,along with the detection of superior alleles,are fundamental for marker-assisted selection in barley breeding.This study presents the cloning of HvGL7-2H from barley,based on the known rice GL7 gene.The functional significance of HvGL7-2H in grain length was confirmed through ethyl methane sulfonate(EMS)mutants of the barley landrace“Hatiexi”.A candidate gene-based association analysis was conducted using a panel of 363 barley accessions to identify superior haplotypes for HvGL7-2H.The analysis revealed that Hap3 represented the superior haplotype for both grain length and TGW,while Hap4 emerged as the superior haplotype for TGW.These findings indicate that genotypes carrying the superior allele serve as valuable genetic resources,and the molecular markers identified herein will facilitate grain size and yield improvement in barley breeding programs.
文摘Objective:To explore the evidence-based nursing optimization strategy for catheter tip positioning during peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)insertion in patients with persistent left superior vena cava(PLSVC).Methods:For one ovarian cancer patient with PICC malposition in the coronary sinus(CS)due to PLSVC,multimodal imaging techniques were integrated to accurately locate the catheter tip.The catheter position was adjusted based on evidence(withdrawing 5 cm),and a standardized nursing process was established,including personalized health education,catheter fixation and displacement monitoring,complication monitoring,establishment of a specialized disease information archive system,and formulation of a follow-up plan.Results:The catheter tip was successfully withdrawn from the coronary sinus(at the T8 level)to the middle and lower part of the PLSVC(at the T6 vertebral level),and the catheter functioned normally after adjustment.No complications such as arrhythmia or thrombosis occurred during the 332-day chemotherapy period.Conclusion:The PICC tip in PLSVC patients should be positioned in the middle and lower part of the PLSVC(at the T5–T7 vertebral level).This new standard can effectively avoid CS-related complications.The integration of multi-modal imaging techniques and evidence-based nursing management are key to ensuring safe infusion.

文摘Objective:Strabismus is associated with a higher prevalence of idiopathic thoracic scoliosis(ITS)in children.This study aims to investigate whether superior oblique palsy(SOP)poses a higher risk for developing ITS among children and adolescents.Methods:A cross-sectional study.The study group comprised 347 consecutive candidates for SOP surgery aged 4 to 18 years;Patients within the same age range with ocular trauma were enrolled as the control group.Preoperative chest plain radiographs were used to measure the Cobb angle.Demographic information and clinical data,including diopter,best corrected visual acuity,deviation degree,and binocular function,were analyzed.Results:A significantly higher prevalence of ITS was found in study group compared with control group(12.68%vs 4.18%,P<0.001).Additionally,the mean Cobb angle was lagger in SOP group than that in control group(5.02°±3.87°vs 3.84°±3.09°,P<0.001).Males in SOP group showed a higher prevalence of ITS(12.9%vs 2.87%,P=0.007),but there was no significant difference in females between two groups(12.3%vs 7.69%,P=0.295).Good near stereopsis acuity was significantly associated with high prevalence of thoracic scoliosis(P<0.001).Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that a large distant magnitude of deviation(>20 PD)and near stereoacuity were significantly associated with ITS.Conclusions:Patients with SOP have a significantly higher risk of developing idiopathic thoracic scoliosis,especially those with good near stereoscopic and large distant magnitude of deviation.

文摘Persistent left superior vena cava(PLSVC)is a rare congenital anomaly that may complicate cardiac procedures when associated with a dilated coronary sinus(CS)and conduction disturbances.We report the case of a 27-year-old male with Wilson’s disease who presented with complete heart block.Echocardiography showed biatrial enlargement and severe CS dilation,while contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CT)confirmed PLSVC draining into the CS without a bridging vein.Anatomical constraints prevented cardiac resynchronization therapy,and dual-chamber pacemaker implantation proved technically challenging due to lead placement difficulties.This case highlights the importance of thorough preoperative assessment and individualized pacing strategies in patients with PLSVC,in order to anticipate anatomical challenges and optimize outcomes.

文摘[Objective] This paper aimed to study the tissue culture and rapid propagation technology of superior individuals of Lonicera edulis Turcz. [Method] Several superior individuals of Lonicera edulis Turcz were used as materials for selecting the primary medium, subculture medium, rooting medium and acclimatization substrate during the tissue culture and rapid propagation. [Result] 6-BA was the optimal cytokinin for tissue culture of Lonicera edulis Turcz, compared with ZT; modified MS+1.0 mg/L of 6-BA + 0.2 mg/L of IBA was the optimal medium as primary and subculture medium, modified MS+ 1.5 mg/L of IBA was the optimal medium for rooting of Lonicera edulis Turcz, the rooting rate had achieved 100% after cultured for 30 d. The optimal substrate for transplanting plantlets of Lonicera edulis Turcz was composed of humus and perlite (1∶ 1, V/V), survival rate was as high as 95% after 30 d. [Conclusion] This study provided basis for the rapid propagation of superior seedlings of Lonicera edulis Turcz, as well as the establishment of industrialized breeding technical system and the implementation of scale production.
文摘Objective To study the techniques and clinical applications of intra-vascular stenting in the treatment of superior vana cava obliteration syndrome (SVS). Methods In 9 cases of SVS, primary lesions were all confirmed as malignancy (primary pulmonary carcinoma of right upper lobe) histolo-pathologically. By route of right femoral vein, SVS catheterization and DSA was made. The length of the strictures and the diameters of normal superior vana cavae (SVC) were measured for the choice of appropriate stents. The option of stemt diameter is 10% larger than that of normal SVCs. The upper and lower ends of the stent should be 1–2 cm protruding from the ends of the stricture. The stent was dilated with a balloon after its successful placement. Therapy of original lesions was continued together with anticoagulant. Stents were observed about their positions by fluoroscopy or chest films, and about patency of SVC by Doppler. Results After the placement of a stent, DSA revealed the contrast media in the SVCs passed along smoothly, diameters of SVCs almost normal, collateral branches diminished remarkably. Average SVC pressure was decreased from 26.4 cmH2O before the placement down to 15.7 cmH2O, with an obvious difference (P<0.01= by statistics. Related clinical symptoms and signs disappeared or relieved. Subsidised were swelling of head and neck, upper extremities and chest. Excretion of urine increased. Gorgeous superficial veins in the chest could not be detected any more. Conclusion The therapy of intra-vascular stenting to treat SVS is microinvasive, simple and effective. 文摘In view of the fact that water resource had been taken as the focus of tourism development in Jiangsu Province, the paper had analyzed superior features of water tourist resource in Jiangsu Province, and summarized geographic features and plentiful water resources in Jiangsu. It emphasized that water resource was large in amount and river flew through most cities; that water resource was widely distributed and national AAAAA and AAAA scenic areas (spots) with water resource spread all over the province; that water resource was diversified in types and it could be divided into reaches, natural lakes and pools, springs, waterfalls, river mouths and lake surfaces; that water tourist resource was high in taste, strong in function and high in overall quality; and that water resource played a distinct role in landscape structure, which could not only constitute the main feature in isolation, but also lend people the sense of beauty through multiple landscaping factors. Based on the comprehensive evaluation on superior features of water resource in Jiangsu Province, it had proposed practical value for water tourism development, which was providing reference for scientific tourism planning, offering tourists abundant tourist products, shaping tourism brand image with distinct personality, creating a new growth pole and enhancing the protection of water resource.

文摘In the wheat-cotton intercropping system, total 6 sowing rates (187.5, 225.0, 262.5, 300.0, 337.5 and 375.0 kg/hm2) were arranged, and the effects of sowing rate on marginal superiority and yield of wheat were investigated. The re- sults showed that the effect of sowing rate on inner-line wheat was greater than that on side-line wheat; with the increased sowing rate, the marginal superiority of panicle number was reduced in overall, and the difference in panicle number be- tween inner and side lines was decreased from 9.0×10^5/hm2 (sowing rate of 187.5 kg/hm2) to 7.8×10^5/hm2 (sowing rate of 375.0 kg/hm2); the marginal superiority of grains per spike was increased first and then reduced, and the largest difference in grains per spike between the inner and side lines reached 4.6 under the sowing rate of 300.0 kg/hm2; the marginal superiority of 1 000-grain weight and yield was gradually increased, and the largest difference in 1 000-grain weight between the inner and side lines reached 3.9 g under the sowing rate of 337.5 kg/hm2, and in yield reached 3 136.5 kg/hm2under the sowing rate of 375.0 kg/hm2. The effects of sowing rate on the three yield factors of intercropped wheat ranked as panicle number 〉 grains per spike 〉 1 000-grain weight. The appropriate sowing rate of wheat was 225.0-262.0 kg/hm2 in the wheat-cotton intercropping system.
文摘In wheat-cotton intercropping system,the spike number per unit area,grains per spike,thousand-grain weight and yield of side line and inner line were investigated in six wheat varieties to study the marginal superiority and select suitable wheat varieties intercropped with cotton.The results showed that Xingmai No.4had obvious marginal superiority with the yield of 6 919.0 kg/hm2,so it was the suitable variety for wheat-cotton intercropping system.

文摘[Objective] Breeding and genetic improvement for Cupressus funebris was performed based on the extensive genetic variation among provenances and fami- lies. [Method] The two-year-old Cupressus funebris, from 4 provenances and 34 superior Cupressus funebris families introduced from Chongqing and Qiandao Lake of Zhejiang Province, was used as test material, and the differences in growth traits among provenances and families at the seedling stage of Cupressus funebris were investigated. [Result] The height and ground diameter of seedlings differed signifi- cantly among provenances and families. Their variation coefficients among families were 11.37% and 18.89%, and among provenances were 7.25% and 12.58% re- spectively. [Conclusion] There was relatively rich genetic variation in height and ground diameter among provenances and families of Cupressus funebris. It has a certain breeding potential.
