The algorithm performs a step-by-step spectral decomposition of the input vector and checks at each step a set of necessary conditions for spectrality for the resulting vectors. The algorithm concludes that the input vector cannot lead to a valid Boolean function as soon as a vector not satisfying the conditions is found, which, as proved in the paper, for almost all cases happens after the first step of the decomposition. 展开更多

In the present paper, we shall determine the spectrality and non-spectrality of a class of self-aiffine measures with decomposable digit sets. The thermochemical non-equilibrium phenomena encountered by hypersonic vehicles present significant challenges in their design.To investigate the thermochemical reaction flow behind shock waves,the non-equilibrium radiation in the visible range using a shock tube was studied.Experiments were conducted with a shock velocity of 4.7 km/s,using nitrogen at a pressure of 20 Pa.To address measurement difficulties associated with weak radiation,a special square section shock tube with a side length of 380 mm was utilized.A high-speed camera characterized the shock wave’s morphology,and a spectrograph and a monochromator captured the radiation.The spectra were analyzed,and the numerical spectra were compared with experimental results,showing a close match.Temperature changes behind the shock wave were obtained and compared with numerical predictions.The findings indicate that the vibrational temperatures are overestimated,while the vibrational relaxation time is likely underestimated,due to the oversimplified portrayals of the non-equilibrium relaxation process in the models.Additionally,both experimental and simulated time-resolved profiles of radiation intensity at specific wavelengths were analyzed.The gathered data aims to enhance computational fluid dynamics codes and radiation models,improving their predictive accuracy. 展开更多

In scenarios such as vehicle radiation monitoring and unmanned aerial vehicle radiation detection,rapid measurements using a NaI(Tl)detector often result in low photon counts,weak characteristic peaks,and significant statistical fluctuations.These issues can lead to potential failures in peak-searching-based identification methods.To address the low precision associated with short-duration measurements of radionuclides,this paper proposes an identification algorithm that leverages heterogeneous spectral transfer to develop a low-count energy spectral identification model.Comparative experiments demonstrated that transferring samples from 26 classes of simulated heterogeneous gamma spectra aids in creating a reliable model for measured gamma spectra.With only 10%of target domain samples used for training,the accuracy on real low-count spectral samples was 95.56%.This performance shows a significant improvement over widely employed full-spectrum analysis methods trained on target domain samples.The proposed method also exhibits strong generalization capabilities,effectively mitigating overfitting issues in low-count energy spectral classification under short-duration measurements. 展开更多

All-season thermal management with zero energy consumption and emissions is more crucial to global decarbonization over traditional energy-intensive cooling/heating systems.However,the static single thermal management for cooling or heating fails to self-regulate the temperature in dynamic seasonal temperature condition.Herein,inspired by the dual-temperature regulation function of the fur color changes on the backs and abdomens of penguins,a smart thermal management composite hydrogel(PNA@H-PM Gel)system was subtly created though an"on-demand"dual-layer structure design strategy.The PNA@H-PM Gel system features synchronous solar and thermal radiation modulation as well as tunable phase transition temperatures to meet the variable seasonal thermal requirements and energy-saving demands via self-adaptive radiative cooling and solar heating regulation.Furthermore,this system demonstrates superb modulations of both the solar reflectance(ΔR=0.74)and thermal emissivity(ΔE=0.52)in response to ambient temperature changes,highlighting efficient temperature regulation with average radiative cooling and solar heating effects of 9.6℃in summer and 6.1℃in winter,respectively.Moreover,compared to standard building baselines,the PNA@H-PM Gel presents a more substantial energy-saving cooling/heating potentials for energy-efficient buildings across various regions and climates.This novel solution,inspired by penguins in the real world,will offer a fresh approach for producing intelligent,energy-saving thermal management materials,and serve for temperature regulation under dynamic climate conditions and even throughout all seasons. 展开更多

Bayesian-optimized lithology identification has important basic geological research significance and engineering application value,and this paper proposes a Bayesian-optimized lithology identification method based on machine learning of rock visible and near-infrared spectral data.First,the rock spectral data are preprocessed using Savitzky-Golay(SG)smoothing to remove the noise of the spectral data;then,the preprocessed rock spectral data are downscaled using Principal Component Analysis(PCA)to reduce the redundancy of the data,optimize the effective discriminative information,and obtain the rock spectral features;finally,a Bayesian-optimized lithology identification model is established based on rock spectral features,optimize the model hyperparameters using Bayesian optimization(BO)algorithm to avoid the combination of hyperparameters falling into the local optimal solution,and output the predicted type of rock,so as to realize the Bayesian-optimized lithology identification.In addition,this paper conducts comparative analysis on models based on Artificial Neural Network(ANN)/Random Forest(RF),dimensionality reduction/full band,and optimization algorithms.It uses the confusion matrix,accuracy,Precison(P),Recall(R)and F_(1)values(F_(1))as the evaluation indexes of model accuracy.The results indicate that the lithology identification model optimized by the BO-ANN after dimensionality reduction achieves an accuracy of up to 99.80%,up to 99.79%and up to 99.79%.Compared with the BO-RF model,it has higher identification accuracy and better stability for each type of rock identification.The experiments and reliability analysis show that the Bayesian-optimized lithology identification method proposed in this paper has good robustness and generalization performance,which is of great significance for realizing fast,accurate and Bayesian-optimized lithology identification in tunnel site. 展开更多

A new method based on the iterative adaptive algorithm(IAA)and blocking matrix preprocessing(BMP)is proposed to study the suppression of multi-mainlobe interference.The algorithm is applied to precisely estimate the spatial spectrum and the directions of arrival(DOA)of interferences to overcome the drawbacks associated with conventional adaptive beamforming(ABF)methods.The mainlobe interferences are identified by calculating the correlation coefficients between direction steering vectors(SVs)and rejected by the BMP pretreatment.Then,IAA is subsequently employed to reconstruct a sidelobe interference-plus-noise covariance matrix for the preferable ABF and residual interference suppression.Simulation results demonstrate the excellence of the proposed method over normal methods based on BMP and eigen-projection matrix perprocessing(EMP)under both uncorrelated and coherent circumstances. 展开更多

Objective Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing neurocognitive performance in Alzheimer’s disease(AD),but the neurobiological mechanisms linking synaptic pathology,neural oscillatory dynamics,and brain network reorganization remain unclear.This investigation seeks to systematically evaluate the therapeutic potential of rTMS as a non-invasive neuromodulatory intervention through a multimodal framework integrating clinical assessments,molecular profiling,and neurophysiological monitoring.Methods In this prospective double-blind trial,12 AD patients underwent a 14-day protocol of 20 Hz rTMS,with comprehensive multimodal assessments performed pre-and postintervention.Cognitive functioning was quantified using the mini-mental state examination(MMSE)and Montreal cognitive assessment(MOCA),while daily living capacities and neuropsychiatric profiles were respectively evaluated through the activities of daily living(ADL)scale and combined neuropsychiatric inventory(NPI)-Hamilton depression rating scale(HAMD).Peripheral blood biomarkers,specifically Aβ1-40 and phosphorylated tau(p-tau181),were analyzed to investigate the effects of rTMS on molecular metabolism.Spectral power analysis was employed to investigate rTMS-induced modulations of neural rhythms in AD patients,while brain network analyses incorporating topological properties were conducted to examine stimulus-driven network reorganization.Furthermore,systematic assessment of correlations between cognitive scale scores,blood biomarkers,and network characteristics was performed to elucidate cross-modal therapeutic associations.Results Clinically,MMSE and MOCA scores improved significantly(P<0.05).Biomarker showed that Aβ1-40 level increased(P<0.05),contrasting with p-tau181 reduction.Moreover,the levels of Aβ1-40 were positively correlated with MMSE and MOCA scores.Post-intervention analyses revealed significant modulations in oscillatory power,characterized by pronounced reductions in delta(P<0.05)and theta bands(P<0.05),while concurrent enhancements were observed in alpha,beta,and gamma band activities(all P<0.05).Network analysis revealed frequency-specific reorganization:clustering coefficients were significantly decreased in delta,theta,and alpha bands(P<0.05),while global efficiency improvement was exclusively detected in the delta band(P<0.05).The alpha band demonstrated concurrent increases in average nodal degree(P<0.05)and characteristic path length reduction(P<0.05).Further research findings indicate that the changes in the clinical scale HAMD scores before and after rTMS stimulation are negatively correlated with the changes in the blood biomarkers Aβ1-40 and p-tau181.Additionally,the changes in the clinical scales MMSE and MoCA scores were negatively correlated with the changes in the node degree of the alpha frequency band and negatively correlated with the clustering coefficient of the delta frequency band.However,the changes in MMSE scores are positively correlated with the changes in global efficiency of both the delta and alpha frequency bands.Conclusion 20 Hz rTMS targeting dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPFC)significantly improves cognitive function and enhances the metabolic clearance ofβ-amyloid and tau proteins in AD patients.This neurotherapeutic effect is mechanistically associated with rTMS-mediated frequency-selective neuromodulation,which enhances the connectivity of oscillatory networks through improved neuronal synchronization and optimized topological organization of functional brain networks.These findings not only support the efficacy of rTMS as an adjunctive therapy for AD but also underscore the importance of employing multiple assessment methods—including clinical scales,blood biomarkers,and EEG——in understanding and monitoring the progression of AD.This research provides a significant theoretical foundation and empirical evidence for further exploration of rTMS applications in AD treatment. 展开更多

Organic semiconductor materials have shown unique advantages in the development of optoelectronic devices due to their ease of preparation,low cost,lightweight,and flexibility.In this work,we explored the application of the organic semiconductor Y6-1O single crystal in photodetection devices.Firstly,Y6-1O single crystal material was prepared on a silicon substrate using solution droplet casting method.The optical properties of Y6-1O material were characterized by polarized optical microscopy,fluorescence spectroscopy,etc.,confirming its highly single crystalline performance and emission properties in the near-infrared region.Phototransistors based on Y6-1O materials with different thicknesses were then fabricated and tested.It was found that the devices exhibited good visible to near-infrared photoresponse,with the maximum photoresponse in the near-infrared region at 785 nm.The photocurrent on/off ratio reaches 10^(2),and photoresponsivity reaches 16 mA/W.It was also found that the spectral response of the device could be regulated by gate voltage as well as the material thickness,providing important conditions for optimizing the performance of near-infrared photodetectors.This study not only demonstrates the excellent performance of organic phototransistors based on Y6-1O single crystal material in near-infrared detection but also provides new ideas and directions for the future development of infrared detectors. 展开更多

Tunable mid-infrared lasers are essential for optical sensing and imaging.Existing technologies,however,face challenges in simultaneously achieving broadband spectral tunability and ultra-rapid scan rates,limiting their utility in dynamic scenarios such as real-time characterization of multiple molecular absorption bands.We present a high-speed approach for broadband wavelength sweeping in the mid-infrared region,leveraging spectral focusing via difference-frequency generation between a chirped fiber laser and an asynchronous,frequency-modulated electro-optic comb.This method enables pulse-to-pulse spectral tuning at a speed of 5.6 THz∕μs with 380 elements.Applied to spectroscopic sensing,our technique achieves broad spectral coverage(2600 to 3780 cm−1)with moderate spectral resolution(8 cm−1)and rapid acquisition time(-6.3μs).Notably,the controllable electro-optic comb facilitates high scan rates of up to 2 Mscans∕s across the full spectral range(corresponding to a speed of 60 THz∕μs),with trade-offs in number of elements(-30)and spectral point spacing or resolution(33 cm−1).Nevertheless,these capabilities make our platform highly promising for applications such as flow cytometry,chemical reaction monitoring,and mid-infrared ranging and imaging. 展开更多

To identify coatings and analyze the anti-detection capabilities of camouflage patterns, material samples can be prepared using the super-pixel segmentation method. A spectral polarization imaging system is developed, based on the principle of bidirectional reflectance distribution function(BRDF), to obtain spectral reflection intensities of coatings at full spatial angles, and use polarization images to calculate the refractive index by the Fresnel equation. The index is then coupled into TorranceSparrow model to simulate the spectral scattering intensity to mutually verify the experimental results. Photochemical properties and toxicity of fluoroquinolone antibiotics impacted by complexation with metal ions in different pH solutions

Acid-base dissociable antibiotic-metal complexes are known to be emerging contaminants in the aquatic environments.However,little information is available on the photochemical properties and toxicity of these complex forms.This study investigated the spectral properties of three fluoroquinolones(FQs)with and without metal ions Fe(III),Cu(II),and Al(III)in solutions under different pH conditions,as well as evaluated the changes in toxicity due to the complex with thesemetal ions using luminescent bacteria(vibrio fischeri).FQs showed a higher tendency to coordinate metal ions under alkaline conditions compared to neutral and acidic conditions,and the formation of complexes weakened the ultravioletabsorbing ability of FQs.At pH=7.0,Cu(II)quenched the fluorescence intensity of FQs.Moreover,their Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy were explored,revealing that the coordination sites of Cu(II)in three FQs were situated in a bidentate manner through the oxygen atom of the deprotonated carboxyl group and cyclic carbonyl oxygen atom.This conclusion was further verified by the theory of molecular surface electrostatic potential.In addition,except for complexes of ciprofloxacin-metals,enhanced toxicity of FQs upon coordination with Fe(III)was observed,while reduced toxicity was found for coordination with Cu(II)and Al(III).These results are important for accurately evaluating the photochemical behavior and risk of these antibiotics in aquatic environments contaminated with metal ions. 展开更多

In this paper,we present a novel particle filter(PF)-based direct position tracking method utilizing multiple distributed observation stations.Traditional passive tracking methods are anchored on repetitive position estimation,where the set of consecutive estimates provides the tracking trajectory,such as Two-step and direct position determination methods.However,duplicate estimates can be computationally expensive.In addition,these techniques suffer from data association problems.The PF algorithm is a tracking method that avoids these drawbacks,but the conventional PF algorithm is unable to construct a likelihood function from the received signals of multiple observatories to determine the weights of particles.Therefore,we developed an improved PF algorithm with the likelihood function modified by the projection approximation subspace tracking with deflation(PASTd)algorithm.The proposed algorithm uses the projection subspace and spectral function to replace the likelihood function of PF.Then,the weights of particles are calculated jointly by multiple likelihood functions.Finally,the tracking problem of multiple targets is solved by multiple sets of particles.Simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of computational complexity and tracking accuracy. 展开更多

Eu^(2+)doped fluorosilicate glass-ceramics containing BaF_(2) nanocrystals have high potential as spectral conversion materials for organic solar cells.However,it is difficult to realize the efficient design of BaF_(2):Eu^(2+)doped fluorosilicate glass and to vividly observe the glass microstructure in experiment through traditional trial-and-error glass preparation method.BaF_(2):Eu^(2+)doped fluorosilicate glassceramics with high transparency,and high photoluminescence(PL)performance were predicted,designed and prepared via molecular dynamics(MD)simulation method.By MD simulation prediction,self-organized nanocrystallization was realized to inhibit the abnormal growth of nanocrystals due to[AlO_(4)]tetrahedra formed in the fluoride-oxide interface.The introduction of NaF reduces the effective phonon energy of the glass because Na+will prompt Al^(3+)to migrate from the fluoride phase to the silicate phase and interface.The local environment of Eu^(2+)is optimized by predicting the doping concentration of EuF_(3) and 2 mol%EuF3 is the best concentration in this work.Glass-ceramics sample GC2Eu as spectral conversion layer was successfully applied on organic solar cells to obtain more available visible phonons with a high photoelectric conversion efficiency(PCE).This work confirms the guidance of molecular dynamics simulation methods for fluorosilicate glasses design. 展开更多
