A rigorous analysis of a broad wall slot coupler composed of two crossed rectangular waveguides by using FDTD method is presented. Two types of slots, a longitudinal/transverse slot and a centered-inclined slot, are analyzed. Coupling slot characteristics are obtained, including scattering parameters and the resonant length for different waveguide dimensions and frequencies. The numerical results are all in good agreement with those by the method of moments. A coupler system with a short circuit port is also analyzed to help designing the slot array. 展开更多

SCS-Net:A DNN-based electromagnetic shielding effectiveness analysis method for slotted composite structures 被引量:1

As the proportion of composite materials used in aircraft continues to increase, the electromagnetic Shielding Effectiveness (SE) of these materials becomes a critical factor in the electromagnetic safety design of aircraft structures. The assessment of electromagnetic SE for Slotted Composite Structures(SCSs) is particularly challenging due to their complex geometries and there remains a lack of suitable models for accurately predicting the SE performance of these intricate configurations. To address this issue, this paper introduces SCS-Net, a Deep Neural Network (DNN) method designed to accurately predict the SE of SCS. This method considers the impacts of various structural parameters, material properties and incident wave parameters on the SE of SCSs. In order to better model the SCS, an improved Nicolson-Ross-Weir (NRW) method is introduced in this paper to provide an equivalent flat structure for the SCS and to calculate the electromagnetic parameters of the equivalent structure. Additionally, the prediction of SE via DNNs is limited by insufficient test data, which hinders support for large-sample training. To address the issue of limited measured data, this paper develops a Measurement-Computation Fusion (MCF) dataset construction method. The predictions based on the simulation results show that the proposed method maintains an error of less than 0.07 dB within the 8–10 GHz frequency range. Furthermore, a new loss function based on the weighted L1-norm is established to improve the prediction accuracy for these parameters. Compared with traditional loss functions, the new loss function reduces the maximum prediction error for equivalent electromagnetic parameters by 47%. This method significantly improves the prediction accuracy of SCS-Net for measured data, with a maximum improvement of 23.88%. These findings demonstrate that the proposed method enables precise SE prediction and design for composite structures while reducing the number of test samples needed. 展开更多

To enhance the quality factor and sensitivity of refractive index sensors,a feedback waveguide slot grating micro-ring resonator was proposed.An air-hole grating structure was introduced based on the slot micro-ring,utilizing the reflection of the grating to achieve the electromagnetic-like induced transparency effect at different wavelengths.The high slope characteristics of the EIT-like effect enabled a higher quality factor and sensitivity.The transmission principle of the structure was analyzed using the transmission matrix method,and the transmission spectrum and mode field distribution were simulated using the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)method,and the device structure parameters were adjusted for optimization.Simulation results show that the proposed structure achieves an EIT-like effect with a quality factor of 59267.5.In the analysis of refractive index sensing characteristics,the structure exhibits a sensitivity of 408.57 nm/RIU and a detection limit of 6.23×10^(-5) RIU.Therefore,the proposed structure achieved both a high quality factor and refractive index sensitivity,demonstrating excellent sensing performance for applications in environmental monitoring,biomedical fields,and other areas with broad market potential. 展开更多

Intent detection and slot filling are two important components of natural language understanding.Because their relevance,joint training is often performed to improve performance.Existing studies mostly use a joint model of multi-intent detection and slot-filling with unidirectional interaction,which improves the overall performance of the model by fusing the intent information in the slot-filling part.On this basis,in order to further improve the overall performance of the model by exploiting the correlation between the two,this paper proposes a joint multi-intent detection and slot-filling model based on a bidirectional interaction structure,which fuses the intent encoding information in the encoding part of slot filling and fuses the slot decoding information in the decoding part of intent detection.Experimental results on two public multi-intent joint training datasets,MixATIS and MixSNIPS,show that the bidirectional interaction structure proposed in this paper can effectively improve the performance of the joint model.In addition,in order to verify the generalization of the bidirectional interaction structure between intent and slot,a joint model for single-intent scenarios is proposed on the basis of the model in this paper.This model also achieves excellent performance on two public single-intent joint training datasets,CAIS and SNIPS. 展开更多

Airports around the world commonly face challenges in managing airport slot allocation.Effective management of limited slot resources by civil aviation authority often requires redistributing requested slots among airlines.The allocation process must operate within the prescribed capacity limits of the airport while adhering to established priorities and regulations.Additionally,ensuring market fairness is a key objective,as the value of airport slots plays a significant role in the adjustment process.This transforms the traditional time-shift-based problem into a complex multi-objective optimization problem.Addressing such complications is of significant importance to airlines,airports,and passengers alike.Due to the complexity of fairness metrics,traditional integer programming models encounter difficulties in finding effective solutions.This study proposes a neighborhood search strategy to tackle the single airport slot allocation,making it adaptable to both static and rolling capacity scenarios.Two Genetic Algorithms(GAs)are introduced,corresponding to time adjustment and sequence adjustment strategies,respectively.The GA based on the time adjustment strategy demonstrates high robustness,while the sequence adjustment strategy builds upon this GA to develop a simple heuristic algorithm that offers rapid convergence.Case studies conducted at seven airports in China confirm that all three algorithms yield high-quality adjustment solutions suitable for the majority of applications.Further,Pareto analysis reveals that these algorithms effectively balance the adjustment shifts and fairness metrics,demonstrating high practical value and broad applicability. 展开更多

In this paper,a terahertz slotted waveguide array antenna is designed based on photonic crystal,which can realize efficient radiation of terahertz waves.The electromagnetic wave is fed from the rectangular waveguide at the bottom of the antenna,coupled to photonic crystal waveguide through photonic crystal cavity,and radiated outward through slots at the top layer of antenna.The simulation results show that the antenna achieves a peak gain of 13.45 dBi at 360 GHz,a half-power beam width of 10.9°,and a side lobe level of−13.9 dB.The antenna based on photonic crystal has the advantages of low profile,low loss,and high radiation efficiency,which can be applied to terahertz wireless communication systems. 展开更多

目的探讨数字大平板SLOT技术在脊柱侧弯上的临床应用价值。方法选择52例脊柱侧弯患者,应用数字大平板SLOT技术对脊柱从上至下进行连续曝光,再经过SLOT Radiography软件对采集图像进行处理,得到全脊柱图像,并对图像进行评价。结果 52例... 目的探讨数字大平板SLOT技术在脊柱侧弯上的临床应用价值。方法选择52例脊柱侧弯患者,应用数字大平板SLOT技术对脊柱从上至下进行连续曝光,再经过SLOT Radiography软件对采集图像进行处理,得到全脊柱图像,并对图像进行评价。结果 52例脊柱侧弯患者,S形侧弯14例(27%),左侧弯23例(44%),右侧弯15例(29%);其中胸椎侧弯17例,腰椎侧弯21例,合并椎体畸形7例,合并骨盆倾斜改变1例。所有病例都能在一张X线胶片上清晰显示颈、胸、腰、骶尾椎,整个图像无拼接伪影,椎体的清晰度符合标准的脊柱影像要求,并能准确的测量Cobb角。结论数字大平板的SLOT全景技术能有效地去除拼接伪影,使全脊柱能同时在1张X线胶片上完整无缝呈现,全景图像清晰,密度均匀一致,影像质量完全达到了临床对侧弯长度和Cobb角测量的要求,为脊柱侧弯矫形术治疗方案的旋转,术前设计及术后评估提供了可靠的影像学依据。 展开更多

Most Level 3 airports around the world suffer severe congestion and flight delays.Airlines have to obtain airport slots in order to schedule flights at such airports.The main way for airlines to acquire slots is primary slot allocation,in which a slot coordinator distributes slots to airlines according to certain rules and regulations.Due to excessive demand for slots and restrictions on allocation rules,it is difficult for some airlines to obtain the desired slots in this manner.Another way for airlines to obtain slots is through secondary slot trading,in which slots can be redistributed among airlines without being returned to slot pool.The secondary trading of airport slots has played a positive role in promoting the efficient utilization of slot resources,but systematic studies are insufficient.This paper discusses the reasons for the existence of slot secondary trading,sorts out the main policies and rules governing the mechanism,investigates its impacts on the industry and society,and points out the major problems and challenges.The paper provides a reference for subsequent research and practical application of airport slot secondary trading in the future. 展开更多

The aim of this work is to study the effect of non-uniform single and double slot suction/injection into a steady mixed convection boundary layer flow over a vertical cone, while the axis of the cone is inline with the flow. The governing boundary layer equations are transformed into a non-dimensional form by a group of non-similar trans- formations. The resulting coupled non-linear partial differential equations are solved nu- merically by employing the quasi-linearization technique and an implicit finite-difference scheme. Numerical computations are performed for different values of the dimensionless parameters to display the velocity and temperature profiles graphically. Also, numerical results are presented for the skin friction and heat transfer coefficients. Results indicate that the skin friction and heat transfer coefficients increase with non-uniform slot suction, but the effect of non-uniform slot injection is just opposite. 展开更多

Multi-phase machines are so attractive for electrical machine designers because of their valuable advantages such as high reliability and fault tolerant ability.Meanwhile,fractional slot concentrated windings(FSCW)are well known because of short end winding length,simple structure,field weakening sufficiency,fault tolerant capability and higher slot fill factor.The five-phase machines equipped with FSCW,are very good candidates for the purpose of designing motors for high reliable applications,like electric cars,major transporting buses,high speed trains and massive trucks.But,in comparison to the general distributed windings,the FSCWs contain high magnetomotive force(MMF)space harmonic contents,which cause unwanted effects on the machine ability,such as localized iron saturation and core losses.This manuscript introduces several new five-phase fractional slot winding layouts,by the means of slot shifting concept in order to design the new types of synchronous reluctance motors(SynRels).In order to examine the proposed winding’s performances,three sample machines are designed as case studies,and analytical study and finite element analysis(FEA)is used for validation. 展开更多

A differential equation for calculating squeeze-film air damping in slotted plates is developed by modifying the Reynolds equation. A term is added to account for the effect of airflow through the slots on the air damping of the plate. The end effect of the airflow in the slots is also treated by substituting an effective channel length for the geometric channel length (i. e. the thickness of the plate)..The damping pressure distribution, damping force, and damping force coefficient of the slotted plates can be found by solving the equation under appropriate boundary conditions. With restrictions on the thickness and the lateral dimensions of the slotted plate removed,the equation provides a useful tool for analysing the squeeze-film air damping effect of slotted plates with finite thickness and finite lateral dimensions. For a typical slotted plate structure, the damping force coefficient obtained by this equation agrees well with that generated by ANSYS. 展开更多

It is found that the U-slot patch antenna can be designed to attain 50% impedance bandwidth as well as 30-40% gain bandwidth. A new technique which is a combination of fractal antenna and array antenna is presented to design Plus Slotted Fractal Antenna Array (PSFAA) in this paper. PSFAA with corporate feed operates at 2.5 GHz frequency. PSFAA is designed on FR4 substrate material with permittivity 4.4 and height 1.6 mm. PSFAA is designed up to 2nd iteration. High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software is used for simulation of PSFAA. The proposed antenna array operates at three bands with five frequencies 2.5 GHz, 4.1 GHz, 6.9 GHz, 7.4 GHz and 8.2 GHz. Simulated Return losses results of proposed PSFAA are -22.15 dB, -19.44 dB, -25.21 dB, -10 dB, -12.45 dB at above frequencies respectively. It has a gain of 9.22 dB at resonant frequency 2.5 GHz whereas conventional antenna array has a gain of 5.15 dB at resonant frequency 2.5 GHz. Return losses and gain of PSFAA also improved from conventional antenna array at various resonant frequencies. 展开更多

With the rural concealed communication cable as the study object, the shielding effectiveness of different slot shapes was analyzed by using LBEM (linear boundary element method). The engineering example results showed that for twocore shielded cable, the coupling capacitance of trapezoid slots (asymmetric and symmetric) changed the most, followed by rectangular slots (asymmetric and symmetric), and the changes of wedge slots were the smallest, but the change tenden- cies were consistent. The corresponding equivalent parameters are computed by employing the moment method. The numerical results of resonant length of the feeding slot, VSWR and coupling parameter are showed and compared with the case of no radiating slots and short-end.
