However, the rapid economic growth has been accompanied by substantial environmental challenges due to the wastewater and exhaust emissions from numerous industrial enterprises, as well as the massive consumption of resources, which are highly detrimental to ecological sustainability and the sustainable development of the economy. To foster green development among industrial enterprises in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, this paper evaluates the green performance of the region by measuring the green Total Factor Productivity (GTFP) of the industry. The paper provides a detailed analysis of the historical development and current status of industrial greening in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.展开更多
