It has been applied and popularized in Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway, Jinshi Expressway and other projects successively, but its content is relatively low. According to the characteristics that rubber powder can greatly improve the durability of asphalt concrete, the research on the mix proportion of high content (30%) rubber powder asphalt concrete was carried out. It has been verified that it has significantly improved the dynamic stability, low-temperature bending, freeze-thaw splitting and water seepage performance, and has been put into use in the bid section ZT2 of Jingde Expressway, meeting the use requirements of "no minor repair for 15 years and no major repair for 40 years" for the permanent pavement of Jingde Expressway.展开更多

Following a study on the choice of the best formulations, the quantity of rubber latex used for shaping varies between 14% and 18% (latex/sand + latex ratio) for the carpet with the fabric of mosquito nets and between 16% and 18% for the one made with the fabric of cotton fiber. Thus, with a mixture of sand, fiber fabrics (cotton and mosquito nets) and rubber latex, carpets were developed. In addition, the wear test carried out on these samples indicates that it is possible to produce carpets with the new material made of rubber sand and latex: SABLATEX At room temperature. Following the characterization test, it resorts to only 16% latex with cotton fiber fabric, allowing to have carpets with good mechanical characteristics.展开更多

The CB spacings within immature rubber avenues were 6.7 × 3.4 m;4.0 × 2.0 m, 3.0 × 3.0 m and 2.0 × 2.0 m, while the sole rubber was at 6.7 × 3.4 m, all laid out in randomized complete block design with five replications. Quantities of soil organic C, extractable P, Ca, Mg and earthworm activities were significantly higher in the intercrops, with the highest value coming from the 4 × 2 m CB spaced plots. However a significantly higher value of K stock was observed in the sole rubber plot and declined as the CB spacing narrowed. While the highest proportion (>90%) of matured hevea tree at six YAP was observed in the 2 × 2 m CB spaced plots;the highest DRC of 1.7 t?ha–1?yr–1 was obtained from CB 4 × 2 m treatment. Consequently, with some of the observed soil fertility attributes and DRC recorded, 4 × 2 m CB spacing seems to be a more suitable CB spacings within immature rubber avenues, especially in view of the levels of K in the 2 × 2 CB plots.展开更多

On the other hand, Indonesia is a leading natural rubber production country and these rubber wood trees are cultivated in vast plantation farms. A rubber wood tree is woody biomass resource which can be stably supplied because a lot of trees aged more than 25 years are logged and nursery trees are planted constantly. Woody biomass is burned directly as solid fuel and the generated thermal energy can be applied only for room heating or cooking. Otherwise, direct conversion of biomass to electric energy requires a large scale equipment such as a boiler and a steam turbine, whereas gasified woody biomass can be easily handled and can have wide application. A closed gasifier chamber which was kept vacuum and fulfilled with gas yield during gasification was recently developed by the authors for indirect gasification. It was confirmed that generated gas by the gasifier is clean and can be directly used to drive an engine generator to supply electricity. In this study, planer dust of rubber wood is used as gasification feedstock for indirect gasifying in the closed gasifier chamber, and effects of heating temperature and moisture content on gasification performance are discussed to examine characteristics of the closed gasifier chamber in details.展开更多
