The intestinal epithelium, as the primary site for nutrientuptake, undergoes continuous renewal driven by precise regulation of intestinalstem cells (ISCs). Nutrient sensing and metabolism are key determinants of ISCfate, making ISCs a central link between nutrient metabolism and the regulationof intestinal tissue renewal and homeostasis. Understanding how ISCs respond ormake adaptations to nutritional signals is therefore vital for maintaining intestinalhomeostasis. Recent studies have spotlighted the origin and identity of ISCs andbroadened our insight into the plasticity and function of ISCs under differentconditions. Mitochondria, the central hubs of energy production and metabolicsignals provided by dietary components and metabolic substrates, such as glucose, amino acids, and lipids, govern the intricate balance between self-renewal anddifferentiation of ISCs. This review highlights the importance of nutrient sensing, metabolic regulation, and mitochondrial function in the specification of ISC fate.A thorough understanding of these mechanisms paves the way for the developmentof stem cell-based therapy for the mucosal healing of gastrointestinaldiseases and diet intervention to foster body health.展开更多

The functions of two root-derived organic acids and water were simulated and compared in the activation of mineral nutrients from the rhizosphere soil. The results showed that the organic acids could activate the nutrients and the activated degree of the nutrient elements highly depended on the amount and types of the organic acid excreted and on the physiochemical and biochemical properties of the soil tested. The activation effect of the citric acid was obviously higher than that of malic acid in extracting Fe, Mn, Cu, and Zn for all the tested soil types. However, the activation efficiencies of P, K, Ca, and Mg extracting by the citric acid were not much higher, sometimes even lower, than those by malic acid. The solution concentration of all elements increased with increase of amount of the citric acid added.展开更多

The results showed that the total N, total P and C: N ratio of the soil inP. sylvestris var.mongolica stands were significantly higher in comparison with those inP. tabulaeformis andP. densiflora stands. ForP. sylvestris var.mongolica, the foliar P concentration appeared to decrease with age, and the foliar N and K concentrations did not show a consistent change with age. As for the different tree species of the similar age, the foliar N and P concentrations were significantly different (p<0.05), being withP. sylvestris var.mongolica>P. densiflora>P. tabulaeformis. The foliar N: P ratio ofP. densiflora significantly was higher thanP. sylvestris var.mongolica andP. tabulaeformis, while the foliar K was no obvious difference between the three tree species. There were significant correlation (p<0.05) between soil total N and P, soil organic matter and total P, foliar N and P, but it did not show significant correlations between soil and foliar nutrient concentrations, which might attribute to the excessive litter raking, overgrazing and low soil moisture in this area. Based on the foliar N: P ratio, we introduced a combination threshold index of N: P ratio with their absolute foliar nutrient concentrations to determine the possible limiting nutrient. According to the critical N: P ratio and their absolute foliar N, P concentrations, theP. sylvestris var.mongolica stands showed a decreased N limitation degree with age, theP. densiflora stands showed unlimited by N and P in the whole, and theP. tabulaeformis stands showed co-limited by N and P. No significant difference in soil nutrient concentrations of the surface soils was found between 45, 29, 20-yr-oldPinus sylvestris var.mongolica plantation stands. The biomass of 43 mono-species and soil nutrients in alpine tundra ecosystem were also investigated. Dominant species from Ericaceae (such as Rhododendron chrysanthum and Vaccinium jliginosum var. alpinum) were taken to analyze organ biomass distribution. Result showed that the biomass and elevation had a significant correlation (Biomass-237.3 in(Elevation) +494.36; R^2=0.8092; P〈0.05). No significant differences were found in phosphorus and sulphur concentrations of roots, stems and leaves among the five vegetation types. There were significant differences in nitrogen and phosphorus stocks of roots, stems and leaves and in sulphur stock of stems and leaves among TA, MA, and SA vegetation types (p〈0.05). The nutrient stock of five vegetations was averagely 72.46 kg.hm^-2, of which N, P, S were 48.55, 10.33 and 13.61 kg·hm^-2, respectively. Soil N and S concentrations in meadow alpine tundra soil type was significantly higher than those in other four soil types (Cold desert alpine tundra soil, Lithic alpine tundra soil, Peat alpine tundra soil, and Gray alpine tundra soil). Phosphorous concentration in SA type was higher (p〈0.05) than in other types. Soil nutrient stock (0-20cm) was averagely 39.59 t.hm^-2, of which N, P, S were 23.74, 5.86, 9.99 t·hm^-2, respectively.展开更多

[Method] The soil in the experimental region is latosolic red soil which was planted with sugarcane for 11 years continuously, and 8 treatments including sole application of chemical fertilizers, sole application of organ- ic fertilizer, and combined application of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizers were designed according to different fertilization measures. The effects of different fertilization treatments on soil microbial biomass, soil enzyme activities and related fertility factors were determined. [Result} Different fertilization treatments all showed soil microbial biomass N, C and P and activities of soil acid phosphatase, catalase, sucrase and urease higher than the CK. Soil microbial biomass N increased by 5.56%-67.13%, soil microbial biomass C increased by 4.01%-20.40%, and soil mi- crobial biomass P increased by 6.39%-67.02%. The activity of acid phosphatase was improved by 12.96%-35.19%, the activity of catalase was improved by 18.24% -78.93%, the activity of sucrase was improved by 3.00%-42.00%, and the activity of urease was improved by 1.21%-23.43%. However, the soil nutrients of different fertilization treatments increased non-significantly (P〉0.05). Soil microbial biomass N, C and P and activities of acid phosphatase, catalase and urease were in significant (P〈0.05) or very significant correlation (P〈0.01) with contents of soil rapidly available P, rapidly available K and total N. [Conclusion] The evaluation of improvement of soil fertility in continuous-cropping sugarcane field using soil microbial biomass and enzyme activities as indexes is more comprehensive and sensitive.展开更多

Soil microbial biomass N in two mixed plantations was averagely higher 69% and 61% than that in pure plantation at the 0-10 cm and 10-20 cm soil depth, respectively. Soil microbial biomass C, P and basal respiration in mixed plantations were higher 11%, 14% and 4% at the 0-10 cm soil depth and 6%, 3% and 3% at the 10-20 cm soil depth compared with pure plantation. However, soil microbial C: N ratio and qCO2 were averagely lower 34% and 4% in mixed plantations than pure plantation. Additionally, there was a closer relation between soil microbial biomass and soil nutrients than between basal respiration, microbial C: N ratio and qCO2 and soil nutrients. In conclusion, introduction of broad-leaved tree species into pure coniferous plantation improved soil microbial properties and soil fertility, and can be helpful to restore degraded forest soil.展开更多

文摘Understanding the spatial distributions and corresponding variation mechanisms of key soil nutrients in fragile karst ecosystems can assist in promoting sustainable development. However, due to the implementation of ecological restoration initiatives such as land-use conversions, novel changes in the spatial characteristics of soil nutrients remain unknown. To address this gap,we explored nutrient variations and the drivers of the variation in the 0–15 cm topsoil layer using a regional-scale sampling method in a typical karst area in northwest Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Southwest China.Descriptive statistics, geostatistics, and spatial analysis were used to assess the soil nutrient variability. The results indicated that soil organic carbon(SOC),total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP),and total potassium(TK)concentrations showed moderate variations, with coefficients of variance being 0.60,0.60,0.71,and 0.72,respectively.Moreover,they demonstrated positive spatial autocorrelations, with global Moran's indices being 0.68,0.77,0.64,and 0.68,respectively.However,local Moran's index values were low, indicating large spatial variations in soil nutrients. The best-fitting semi-variogram models for SOC,TN,TP,and TK concentrations were spherical,Gaussian, exponential, and exponential, respectively.According to the classification criteria of the Second National Soil Census in China,SOC and TN concentrations were relatively sufficient, with the proportions of rich and very rich levels being up to 90.9 and 96.0%,respectively.TP concentration was in the mediumdeficient level, with the areas of medium and deficient levels accounting for 33.7 and 30.1%of the total, respectively.TK concentration was deficient, with the cumulative area of extremely deficient, very deficient, and deficient levels accounting for 87.6%of the total area.Consequently, the terrestrial ecosystems in the study area were more vulnerable to soil P and K than soil N deficiencies.Furthermore, variance partitioning analysis of the influencing factors showed that, except for the interactions, the single effect of other soil properties accounted more for soil nutrient variations than spatial and environmental variables. These results will aid in the future management of terrestrial ecosystems.

文摘With the rapid growth of the global population and the increasing demand for healthier diets, improving the nutrient utilization efficiency of staple food crops has become a critical scientific and industrial chal-lenge,prompting innovation in food processing technologies. This review introduces first the common nutritional challenges in the processing of staple food crops, followed by the comprehensive examination of research aiming to enhance the nutritional quality of staple food crop-based foods through innovative processing technologies, including microwave(MW),pulsed electric field(PEF),ultrasound, modern fer-mentation technology, and enzyme technology.Additionally, soybean processing is used as an example to underscore the importance of integrating innovative processing technologies for optimizing nutrient utilization in staple food crops.Although these innovative processing technologies have demonstrated a significant potential to improve nutrient utilization efficiency and enhance the overall nutritional pro-file of staple food crop-based food products, their current limitations must be acknowledged and addressed in future research.Fortunately, advancements in science and technology will facilitate pro-gress in food processing, enabling both the improvement of existing techniques as well as the develop-ment of entirely novel methodologies. This work aims to enhance the understanding of food practitioners on the way processing technologies may optimize nutrient utilization, thereby fostering innovation in food processing research and synergistic multi-technological strategies, ultimately providing valuable references to address global food security challenges.
文摘Selenium(Se)is a nutrient that is considered beneficial for plants, because its improvement in growth, yield and quality helps plants to mitigate stress. The objective of this research was to evaluate the application of sodium selenite(Na2SeO3),nanoparticles(SeNPs)and microparticles(SeMPs)of Se in cucumber seedlings, via two experiments:one with seed priming and the other with foliar application of Sematerials. The doses used were:0,0.1,0.5,1.0,1.5 and 3.0 mg⋅L^(−1),for each form of Se and for each form of application.Treatment 0 consisted of the application of distilled water, which was used as a control. The results indicated that the SeMPs treatment at 3.0 mg⋅L^(−1)for seed priming had the greatest effect on stem diameter and leaf area.Foliar application of SeMPs at 1.5 mg⋅L^(−1)was the most effective at increasing the leaf area.In terms of fresh and dry biomass(aerial, root and total)for seed priming, all the treatments were superior to the control, and SeMPs at 1.5 and 3.0 mg⋅L^(−1)caused the greatest effects. With foliar application, fresh root biomass improved to a greater extent with the SeMPs treatment at 3.0 mg⋅L^(−1),and dry biomass(aerial, root and total)increased with the SeMPs at 1.0 and 3.0 mg⋅L^(−1).With respect to the photosynthetic pigments, proteins, phenols and minerals, the Se treatments, both for seed priming and foliar application, caused increases and decreases;however, reduced glutathione(GSH)increased with treatments in both forms of application. The Se concentration in the seedlings increased as the dose of Se material increased, and greater accumulation was achieved with foliar application of SeNPs and SeMPs.The results indicate that the use of Se materials is recommended, mainly the use of SeMPs,which improved the variables studied. This opens new opportunities for further studies with SeMPs,as little information is available on their application in agricultural crops.

文摘[Objectives]To elucidate the spatial variation characteristics and fertility status of soil nutrients in small-scale mountain tea gardens and to inform precise fertilization and nutrient management practices in these tea gardens.[Methods]Based on soil nutrient data collected from 72 sampling points in the tea garden in 2021,which covers an area of approximately 2.4 km^(2),the spatial variation characteristics were analyzed using geostatistical methods.Spatial distribution maps of soil pH,total nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium were generated employing the ordinary Kriging interpolation method in Surfer 23 software.Furthermore,a quantitative assessment of soil fertility was performed utilizing the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.[Results]The majority of the soil in the tea garden was acidic. The average values for pH,organic matter, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium were 4.66,14.4 g/kg,0.9 g/kg,6.2 mg/kg,and 78.1 mg/kg,respectively.The pH exhibited the lowest coefficient of variation at 12.85%,indicating low variability. The coefficients of variation for organic matter, total nitrogen, and available potassium ranged from 31.94%to 49.88%,reflecting moderate variability. In contrast, the coefficient of variation for available phosphorus was 243.41%,indicating high variability. The distribution of soil pH and available phosphorus in the study area was relatively uniform. In contrast, total nitrogen content exhibited a spatial pattern characterized by higher concentrations in the western region and lower concentrations in the eastern region.Organic matter content displayed a spatial distribution pattern with lower values centrally and higher values along the periphery. The distribution of available potassium content was marked by several pronounced"elevations"and"depressions",with notably lower levels observed in the northeastern region of the garden.Total nitrogen and organic matter were the most significant contributors to the integrated fertility index(I_(IFI)),each with a weight value of 0.29,whereas pH had the lowest weight value of 0.14.The proportions of tea garden soils categorized under I_(IFI)grades I to V were 0.26%,69.55%,25.89%,4.30%,and 0.0022%,respectively.[Conclusions]It is recommended that the application of phosphorus fertilizer should be reduced in the study area, whereas the use of potassium fertilizer should be increased in the northeastern region.Additionally, the incorporation of organic and nitrogen fertilizers is advised to improve the soil s capacity for water and nutrient retention.

文摘To better understand the effects of ground-level ozone(O_(3))on nutrients and stoichiometry in different plant organs, urban tree species Celtis sinensis,Cyclocarya paliu-rus,Quercus acutissima, and Quercus nuttallii were sub-jected to a constant exposure to charcoal-filtered air(CF),nonfiltered air(NF),or NF+40,60,or 80 nmol O_(3)mol^(-1)(NF40,NF60,and NF80)starting early in the summer of the growing season. At the end of summer, net CO_(2)assimila-tion rate(A),stomatal conductance(gs),leaf mass per area(LMA),and/or leaf greenness(SPAD)either were not sig-nificantly affected by elevated O_(3)or were even higher in some cases during the summer compared with the CF or NF controls.LMA was significantly lower in autumn only after the highest O_(3)exposures.Compared to NF,NF40 caused a large increase in gs across species in late summer and more K and Mn in stems. At the end of the growing season,nutri-ent status and stoichiometric ratios in different organs were variously altered under O_(3)stress;many changes were large and often species-specific.Across O_(3)treatments,LMA was primarily associated with C and Mg levels in leaves and Ca levels in leaves and stems.NF40 enriched K,P,Fe,and Mn in stems, relative to NF,and NF60 enhanced Ca in leaves relative to CF and NF40.Moreover,NF resulted in a higher Ca/Mg ratio in leaves of Q.acutissima only, relative to the other O_(3)regimes.Interestingly,across species,O_(3)stress led to different nutrient modifications in different organs(stems+branches vs leaves). Thus, ambient and/or elevated O_(3)exposures can alter the dynamics and distribution of nutrients and disrupt stoichiometry in different organs in a species-specific manner.Changes in stoichiometry reflect an important defense mechanism in plants under O_(3),and O_(3)pollution adds more risk to ecological stoichiometries in urban areas.

文摘Diet and nutrition significantly influence health, largely by regulating intestinalnutrient absorption. This review highlights the importance of nutrient sensing, metabolic regulation, and mitochondrial function in the specification of ISC fate.A thorough understanding of these mechanisms paves the way for the developmentof stem cell-based therapy for the mucosal healing of gastrointestinaldiseases and diet intervention to foster body health.

文摘Deprivation of glucose and lactate provides an effective pathway to terminate the nutrients supplement for tumor growth. In this work, biomimetic nanozymes called m@BGLC are constructed for catalytic tumor inhibition through nutrients deprivation and oxidative damage induction.Concretely, the catalytic enzymes of glucose oxidase(GOx),lactate oxidase(LOx)and chloroperoxidase(CPO)are precrosslinked with bovine serum albumin(BSA)to construct nanozymes, which are then biomimetic functionalized with cancer cell membrane to prepare m@BGLC.Benefiting from the biomimetic camouflage with homologous cell membrane,m@BGLC inherit homotypic binding and immune escape abilities, facilitating the tumor targeting accumulation and preferable cell internalization for improved drug delivery efficiency.Subsequently, under the cascade catalysis of nanozymes,m@BGLC consume glucose and lactate for tumor starvation therapy through nutrients deprivation, and meanwhile, the resulting hyprochloric acid(HClO)causes an oxidative damage of cells to synergistically inhibit tumor growth. In vitro and in vivo findings demonstrate a robust tumor eradication effect of m@BGLC without obvious adverse reactions via the targeted combination therapy.Such cascade catalytic nanomedicine may inspire the development of sophisticated strategies for tumor combination therapy under unfavorable tumor microenvironments.

文摘Whole grain foods are valued for their health benefits but face persistent challenges related to sensory acceptability, storage stability, and processing complexity. This review evaluates superheated steam(SHS)technology as a disruptive approach to whole grain processing, highlighting its ability to enhance nutritional retention, modulate microstructure, and extend shelf-life under low-oxygen,high-temperature conditions.SHS suppresses oxidative degradation, restructures starch–protein–lipid matrices, and inactivates enzymes and spoilage microorganisms with minimal nutrient loss.Despite these advantages,SHS faces limitations, including uneven heat penetration in dense kernels, component specific thermal sensitivity and higher equipment costs.By integrating mechanistic insights with practical outcomes, this paper synthesizes recent advances, highlights key scientific and technological gaps, and proposes strategies for industrial application and integration with intelligent food processing systems. This review provides a concise theoretical and technical roadmap for sustainable whole grain innovation.

文摘The exchange of inorganic nutrients at the coastal sediment-water interface(SWI)plays a crucial role in regulating the nutrient budget in overlying water. The related studies mainly focus on the mid-to high-latitude regions, leaving a significant gap in the quantitative assessment of nutrient exchange and environmental controls at the SWI in lowlatitude coastal regions. We quantitatively assess the exchange of inorganic nutrients at the SWI in three tropical bays(Dongzhai Harbor,Xiaohai Lagoon,Qinglan Harbor).Sediments act as a source of ammonium, phosphate, and silicate, but for nitrate, sediments can be both a source and sink, although with substantial spatial and temporal variations in their fluxes.Labile organic matter is a critical regulator for the fluxes of inorganic nutrients at the SWI.The sedimentary nutrients input with high N/P molar ratio will alter the nutrient stoichiometry to mitigate the nitrogen limitation in coastal waters. However, the internal sediment release in these tropical bays plays a relative weak role in contributing to the nutrient addition in comparison with the other external nutrient sources including riverine input, submarine groundwater discharge, and atmospheric deposition.According to the global compilation on SWI nutrient fluxes,we propose that water column primary production and external inputs to interpret the variation in exchange and fluxes of nutrients at the SWI in different ecosystems.Such a conceptual understanding of these chain biogeochemical processes involving external nutrient input, primary production, particulate organic matter settling, and the accumulation and release of inorganic nutrients in sediments will be helpful for the scientific-based pollution prevent and control in coastal waters.

文摘Biochar and animal manure application can improve crop yields in salt-affected soil.Previous studies have primarily applied biochar and animal manure either alone or at fixed ratios, while their combined effects with varying combination proportions are still unclear. To address this knowledge gap,we performed a 2-a experiment(2023-2024)in a salinized cotton field in Wensu County of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China with the following 6 treatments:control;application of biochar(10t/hm^(2))alone(BC100%);application of cow manure(10 t/hm^(2))alone(CM100%);application of 70%biochar(7 t/hm^(2))combined with 30%cow manure(3 t/hm^(2))(BC70%+CM30%);application of 50%biochar(5 t/hm^(2))combined with 50%cow manure(5 t/hm^(2))(BC50%+CM50%);and application of 30%biochar(3 t/hm^(2))combined with 70%cow manure(7 t/hm^(2))(BC30%+CM70%).By measuring soil pH,electrical conductivity, soil organic matter, available phosphorus, available potassium, and available nitrogen at 0-20 and 20-40 cm depths,as well as yield components and cotton yield in 2023 and 2024,this study revealed that soil nutrients in the 0-20 cm depth were more sensitive to the treatment.Among all the treatments,BC50%+CM50%treatment had the highest value of soil pH(9.63±0.07)but the lowest values of electrical conductivity(161.9±31.8μS/cm),soil organic matter(1.88±0.27 g/kg),and available potassium(42.72±8.25 mg/kg)in 2024.Moreover,the highest cotton yield(5336.63±467.72 kg/hm^(2))was also observed under BC50%+CM50%treatment in 2024,which was 1.9 times greater than that under the control treatment. In addition, cotton yield in 2023 was jointly determined by yield components(density and number of cotton bolls)and soil nutrients(available phosphorus and available potassium),but in 2024,cotton yield was only positively related to yield components(density, number of cotton bolls, and single boll weight).Overall, this study highlighted that in salt-affected soil, the combination of biochar and cow manure at a 1:1 ratio is recommended for increasing cotton yield and reducing soil salinity stress.

文摘Nutrients play a crucial role in sustaining marine ecosystems and supporting mariculture, especially in seaweed aquaculture.Currently, seaweed farming, such as kelp cultivation,is entirely dependent on the natural supply of nutrients.Sanggou Bay in Shandong Peninsula,Yellow Sea,is renowned for its 60-year history of kelp cultivation;however,it is recently facing an increasing demand for nitrogen and phosphorus due to the expansion in aquaculture scale and production. There is no doubt that nutrient addition can enhance and sustain the production, but it is crucial to understand its effect on kelp growth under current nutrients condition and the potential ecological risks. Our in-field nutrient enrichment experiments show that nitrogen and phosphorus additions promoted the kelp biomass during the early growth stages, and have no adverse effects on phytoplankton or seawater nutrient levels throughout the experiment. From a long-term perspective, increasing nutrient supply appears to be an essential strategy for sustaining the aquaculture of kelp.

文摘Substrate and nutrient supply are essential for vegetable cultivation in greenhouse. The strategies for plant nutrient supply vary depending on the cultivation methods or substrate dosages employed. With the development of mechanization,wide-row spacing substrate cultivation became an optimize mode of the greenhouse cucumber cultivation, aligning with the trend of intelligent agriculture. To determine the optimal nutrient solution supply amount(NS)and supply frequency(SF)for promoting the integrated growth of cucumber under wide-row spacing substrate cultivation,we explored the effects of substrate supply amount(SS),NS,and SF on cucumber yield, quality, and element utilization efficiency.A five-level quadratic orthogonal rotation combination design with three experimental factors(NS,SF,and SS)was implemented for 23 coupling treatments over three growing seasons, including spring(2022S and 2023S)and autumn(2022A).The technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS)combining weights based on game theory was applied to construct cucumber comprehensive growth evaluation model.Single and two experimental factors analyses revealed significant effects of single factors and the coupling of NS-SS,NS-SF and SS-SF on the integrated growth of cucumber for all three growing seasons. For the NS-SF-SS combination, the optimal parameters for comprehensive cucumber growth were determined as follows:levels of^(-1).68 for NS,-0.7 for SF,and^(-1).682 for SS in 2022A;-0.43 for NS,-0.06 for SF,and 0.34 for SS in 2022S;0.3 for NS,-0.02 for SF,and 0.04 for SS in 2023S.Furthermore,for SS ranges of 2.00-3.01,3.01-4.50,4.50-5.99,5.99-7.00(L·plant^(-1)),the corresponding NS and SF intervals maximizing cucumber integrated growth in spring were:0.28-0.30(L·plant^(-1))and 6(times·d^(-1)),0.26-0.30(L·plant^(-1))and 6(times·d^(-1)),0.25-0.30(L·plant^(-1))and 6(times·d^(-1)),0.23-0.30(L·plant^(-1))and 6(times·d^(-1)),respectively.With the same SS,the corresponding NS and SF intervals that maximized cucumber integrated growth in autumn were:0.10(L·plant^(-1))and 8(times·d^(-1)),0.18(L·plant^(-1))and 7(times·d^(-1)),0.30(L·plant^(-1))and 6(times·d^(-1)),0.49(L·plant^(-1))and 5(times·d^(-1)),respectively.The results provide a theoretical basis for solution management, and further in-depth research on cucumber cultivation.

文摘Four types of soils, including brown coniferous forest soil, dark brown soil, black soil, and black calic soil, sampled from three different places in northeast China were used in this test. The solution concentration of all elements increased with increase of amount of the citric acid added.

文摘The concentrations of the foliar and surface soil nutrients and the variation with species and stand age were studied inPinus spp. plantations in Zhanggutai area, northeast China. 文摘A study was conducted to test the correlation between biomass and elevation and the differences in concentration and storks of nutrients among five vegetation types (Felsenmeer alpine tundra vegetation-FA, Lithic alpine tundra vegetation-LA, Typical alpine tundra vegetation-TA, Meadow alpine tundra vegetation-MA, and Swamp alpine tundra vegetation-SA) on alpine tundra of Changbai Mountains, Jilin Province, China in growing seasons of 2003, 2004 and 2005. Soil nutrient stock (0-20cm) was averagely 39.59 t.hm^-2, of which N, P, S were 23.74, 5.86, 9.99 t·hm^-2, respectively.

文摘[Objective] This study was conducted to expound the fertility improvement effect in continuous-cropping sugarcane field and provide reference for establishment of rational sugarcane fertilization system and improvement of soil quality in continuous-cropping sugarcane field. [Conclusion] The evaluation of improvement of soil fertility in continuous-cropping sugarcane field using soil microbial biomass and enzyme activities as indexes is more comprehensive and sensitive.

文摘An investigation on soil organic carbon, total N and P, NO3-N, available P, microbial biomass C, N and P, basal respiration and metabolic quotients (qCO2) was conducted to compare differences in soil microbial properties and nutrients between 15-year-old pure Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) and two mixed Chinese fir plantations (mixed plantations with Alnus crernastogyne, mixed plantations with Kalopanax septemlobus) at Huitong Experimental Station of Forest Ecology (26°45′N latitude and 109°30′E longitude), Chinese Academy of Sciences in May, 2005. Results showed that the concentrations of soil organic carbon, total N, NO3^--N, total P and available P in mixed plantations were higher than that in pure plantation. In conclusion, introduction of broad-leaved tree species into pure coniferous plantation improved soil microbial properties and soil fertility, and can be helpful to restore degraded forest soil.
