Differential influences of road physical design attributes on pedestrian versus driver traffic accident frequencies

Traffic accidents involving pedestrians and drivers pose significant public health and safety concerns.Understanding the differential influences of road physical design attributes on crash frequencies for these two groups is critical for developing targeted safety interventions.Considering that the zero-truncated characteristic of the data is uncertain,the results of the zero-truncated negative binomial models and traditional negative binomial models are calculated to seek the better model.The result revealed that the road surface conditions and vertical and horizontal curvature have greater influence on both pedestrian and driver compared to number of lanes and speed limit.And speed limits were more pronounced for pedestrian crash frequency than driver group.Conversely,the effect of different types of intersections was stronger for driver crash frequency.The differential influences of road physical design attributes on traffic crash frequencies for pedestrians versus drivers highlight the importance of adopting a user-centric approach to transportation safety planning and infrastructure design.Tailoring interventions to address the unique needs and vulnerabilities of different road user groups can lead to more effective safety improvements and better overall traffic safety outcomes. 展开更多

Factors determining the formation of water-heating mode subgrade soils are allocated, and an information database for mathematical modeling of geocomplexes is shown. Values of strength and deformability of clay soils are calculated within the limits of the defined, homogeneous road districts in Western Siberia to provide the required level of reliability of design solutions. 展开更多

露天煤矿通过引入无人驾驶运输系统,可实现卡车运输环节的少人化、无人化,在提高露天煤矿生产效率的同时还可以带来较大的经济效益。但是,露天煤矿无人驾驶运输作业对无人卡车运行路线、路面和路基、安全设施与附属工程等道路条件要求... 露天煤矿通过引入无人驾驶运输系统,可实现卡车运输环节的少人化、无人化,在提高露天煤矿生产效率的同时还可以带来较大的经济效益。但是,露天煤矿无人驾驶运输作业对无人卡车运行路线、路面和路基、安全设施与附属工程等道路条件要求较高。为了保障无人驾驶运输系统在露天煤矿的顺利运行,根据现场调研和参考现有标准,对露天煤矿无人驾驶运输系统道路开展了研究。在分析传统露天煤矿道路的特点基础上,结合无人驾驶对道路的特殊要求,从道路几何线形、车道设置、标志标识、路面、安全挡墙和停车区域管理、路侧感知系统7个方面提出了适应露天煤矿无人驾驶的道路设计。同时,根据无人驾驶的车-路-云一体化理念,提出了路侧感知通讯系统要求及建设内容,研究了无人驾驶卡车测试场的道路设施标准化设计,为促进露天煤矿无人驾驶运输智能化建设提供参考。 展开更多

钢渣-橡胶沥青混合料性能评价与优化设计

【目标】研究级配、钢渣掺量和结合料性质对钢渣-橡胶沥青混合料(SSRAM)各项路用性能的影响规律。【方法】采用分形理论设计了3种粗集料分维值(D_(c))和2种细集料分维值(D_(f)),研究了三因素三水平正交方案下的SSRAM路用性能,并对2种D_... 【目标】研究级配、钢渣掺量和结合料性质对钢渣-橡胶沥青混合料(SSRAM)各项路用性能的影响规律。【方法】采用分形理论设计了3种粗集料分维值(D_(c))和2种细集料分维值(D_(f)),研究了三因素三水平正交方案下的SSRAM路用性能,并对2种D_(f)下的混合料性能进行对比。【结果】D_(c)是影响SSRAM高温稳定性和抗冻融水损害性能的主要因素,随着D_(c)减小,级配变粗,混合料动稳定度增加,预测永久变形量减小,但抗冻融水损害性能下降;钢渣掺量是影响SSRAM最佳油石比和低温弯拉应变的主要因素,随着钢渣掺量的增加,最佳油石比增加,混合料低温弯拉应变也有所增高;橡胶沥青相较基质沥青对混合料各方面性能均有较好提升作用,但橡胶掺量达到一定量后,其掺量的增加对混合料各项性能影响均较小;几种钢渣-橡胶沥青混合料组成均具有良好的体积稳定性。【结论】推荐采用D_(c)为2.1,D_(f)为2.55,钢渣掺量为60%,橡胶掺量为21%的SSRAM组成方案,此时混合料具有综合较好的路用性能。钢渣-橡胶沥青混合料整体具有良好的路用性能,可用于高速公路沥青路面的磨耗层,有利于实现工业固废的资源化利用。 展开更多

数据驱动下的沥青混合料材料组成设计方法

为探索沥青混合料材料组成设计新思路,通过构建材料性能数据库,提出了一种数据驱动下的沥青混合料材料组成设计方法。首先以沥青种类、空隙率等沥青混合料材料组成作为模型输入,以动态模量、动稳定度等混合料性能作为模型输出,分别构建... 为探索沥青混合料材料组成设计新思路,通过构建材料性能数据库,提出了一种数据驱动下的沥青混合料材料组成设计方法。首先以沥青种类、空隙率等沥青混合料材料组成作为模型输入,以动态模量、动稳定度等混合料性能作为模型输出,分别构建了反向传播(Back propagation, BP)神经网络、极限梯度提升(Extreme gradient boosting, XGBoost)和随机森林(Random forest, RF)三种机器学习预测模型,并建立了MySQL材料性能数据库;然后运用数据库结构化SQL查询语句,以沥青混合料性能为搜索条件,通过反向匹配获得沥青混合料材料组成参考值,提出了数据驱动下的沥青混合料材料组成设计方法;最后通过实例分析验证了设计方法的可行性。研究结果表明:三种机器学习模型中XGBoost较BP神经网络决定系数R^(2)提升了0.03~0.40,较RF提升了0.01~0.08,适用于沥青混合料性能预测;并通过实例分析与室内试验相结合的方法,验证了基于数据库反向匹配实现沥青混合料材料组成设计的可行性。研究成果可为揭示沥青混合料与其材料组成之间的内在关联、指导沥青混合料材料组成设计提供重要参考。 展开更多
