The effectiveness of the teaching methods of military theory directly affects the teaching quality of military theory in colleges and universities. However, there are many problems in the current teaching methods of military theory, which restrict the improvement of teaching quality. Therefore, the research on how to improve and innovate the teaching methods is of great theoretical and practical significance to the teaching effect of the military theory course. This study is based on the existing educational background and its significance, combined with the existing experience and practice, relying on the military theory teaching and research section of Guangdong Vocational College of Science and Trade, trying to put forward a new teaching method-"research-oriented" teaching method which is in line with the higher vocational college students' cognitive laws, and providing reference for the reform and innovation of the teaching method of military theory in colleges and universities. Therefore, the project teaching is taken as the research background, and the high-frequency electronic technology course is taken as an example to study the experimental teaching reform of its course.
