Almost, two thirds (59.3%) agreed about online assessment experience, except that the online exam was anxious, and the time was insufficient to answer all questions. Also, more than two thirds (64.7%) agreed about the learning process of the two nursing courses. Conclusion: The study concluded that there were positive impacts of online education system on the learning process for nursing students except that the students were not able to decide that the remote online education system can replace traditional face-to-face learning as the clinical experience was not evaluated through this study. Recommendation: This study is recommended to be repeated on a large scale of participants to assess the possibility of achieving clinical experience through online remote education if Corona virus still coexists.展开更多

In the paper, the genetic algorithms were employed to solve the weighting of the radial basis faction networks in order to improve the precision of remote sensing image classification. The remote sensing image classification was also introduced for the GIS spatial analysis and the spatial online analytical processing (OLAP), and the resulted effectiveness was demonstrated in the analysis of land utilization variation of Daqing city.展开更多

The techniques were developed by innovatively/“smartly” utilizing the characteristics of the available very high resolution optical remote sensing images to solve important problems or create new applications in photogrammetry and remote sensing. The techniques to be introduced are: automated image fusion (UNB-PanSharp), satellite image online mapping, street view technology, moving vehicle detection using single set satellite imagery, supervised image segmentation, image matching in smooth areas, and change detection using images from different viewing angles. Because of their broad application potential, some of the techniques have made a global impact, and some have demonstrated the potential for a global impact.展开更多

The purpose of COASTER is to greatly simplify the process of creating predictor datasets for research exploring environmental impacts driven by climate change, land-use activities, disturbance, and invasive spread. COASTER achieves this goal by providing users with a web-based system for processing environmental (gridded, raster) datasets, using a set of standardized functions, to create output customized to meet their analytical needs. In doing so, COASTER effectively translates large and cumbersome datasets into user-specified information useful for parameterizing statistical models and for visualizing spatial and temporal patterns within environmental datasets. The COASTER system currently contains over 10 terabytes of climate data from several sources. These datasets have daily temporal resolutions, spatial resolutions ranging from 1km to 330km, and temporal extents ranging from 30 to 64 years (1948-2011). COASTER datasets are primarily limited to North America, but gridded datasets from other regions can easily be added to the system. Variables within the climatic datasets available on COASTER include metrics quantifying temperature, precipitation, shortwave radiation, vapor pressure deficit, humidity, and wind conditions. Notable features of COASTER include a conceptually simple yet flexible set of functions capable of producing a wide range of outputs, a design applicable to many types of raster datasets, and results formatted for seamless integration within most GIS and remote sensing software packages.展开更多

Nowadays, it is extremely difficult to find suitable accommodation in city areas if people search for it physically. On the other hand, the land owner also needs to rent the house. It can be difficult to find tenants just to hang a lease sign on a building, and as a result, they lose money. An online common platform can play a vital role in this case. The purpose of the study is to develop a common web-based online platform for both tenants and house owners so that both tenants and landowners will mutually benefit from the system. This paper presents the development of web applications for the people of Bangladesh where both house owners and tenants can register and tenants can have houses for rent via sophisticated contact with the house owner. In this paper, a common online-based smart house rental web application has been developed both for tenants and for house owners. This web application is very user-friendly, efficient and it has got many unique features that are not offered by other currently available house rental websites here in Bangladesh. Tenants can register using their phone number, store information about their identity, search for available houses, send messages to house owners, and choose a suitable house using developed web applications. House owners can also register for the system, which will manually verify and authenticate the knowledge provided by the house owner can view a tenant’s information history whenever a tenant makes contact through text and supply house-related information accordingly. The proposed online smart house system has been tested and validated. It works very efficiently with many features. The application provided faster and improved opportunities to get houses, as well as ensuring the availability of houses for rent in the greatest number of areas. The system will help to spread trustworthy services nationwide and supply users with the chance to speak and improve the house rent in Bangladesh. Because it has many smart features, this developed online smart house rental web application will make it very easy for tenants to find a house to rent. House owners, on the other hand, can easily rent out their properties.展开更多
