Furthermore, rice lines transformed with protein gene (OsTCTP) and regulation gene (Osmi166) were also discriminated by the NIRS method. The performances of PLS-DA in spectral ranges of 4 000-8 000 cm-1 and 4 000-10 000 cm-1 were compared to obtain the optimal spectral range. As a result, the transgenic and wild type rice were distinguished from each other in the range of 4 000-10 000 cm-1, and the correct classification rate was 100.0% in the validation test. The transgenic rice TCTP and mi166 were also distinguished from each other in the range of 4 000-10 000 cm-1, and the correct classification rate was also 100.0%. A new moisture adjusting method was developed to obtain soil reflectance with a smaller moisture interval to describe the quantitative relationship between soil reflectance and moisture. For the soil samples with moisture contents ranging from air-dry to saturated, the changes in soil reflectance with soil moisture can be depicted using a cubic equation. Both moisture threshold (MT) and moisture inflexion (MI) of soil reflectance can also be determined by the equation. When the moisture range was smaller than MT, soil reflectance can be simulated with a linear model. However, for samples with different soil organic matter (OM), the parameters of the linear model varied regularly with the OM content. Based on their relationship, the soil moisture can be estimated from soil reflectance in the black soil region.展开更多

In this study, hyperspectral reflectance of rice panicles was measured at the visible and near-infrared regions. The panicles were divided into three groups according to health conditions: healthy panicles, empty panicles caused by Nilaparvata lugens St^l, and panicles infected with Ustilaginoidea virens. Low order derivative spectra, namely, the first and second orders, were obtained using different techniques. Principal component analysis (PCA) was performed to obtain the principal component spectra (PCS) of the foregoing derivative and raw spectra to reduce the reflectance spectral dimension. Support vector classification (SVC) was employed to discriminate the healthy, empty, and infected panicles, with the front three PCS as the in- dependent variables. The overall accuracy and kappa coefficient were used to assess the classification accuracy of SVC. The overall accuracies of SVC with PCS derived from the raw, first, and second reflectance spectra for the testing dataset were 96.55%, 99.14%, and 96.55%, and the kappa coefficients were 94.81%, 98.71%, and 94.82%, respectively. Our results demonstrated that it is feasible to use visible and near-infrared spectroscopy to discriminate health conditions of rice panicles.展开更多

First, the reason behind the negative data is analyzed and a nonnegative constraint is imposed on the classic PCA. Then a set of nonnegative linear independence weight vectors of principal components is obtained, by which a lowdimensional space is constructed. Finally, a nonlinear optimization technique is used to determine the projection vectors of the high-dimensional multi-spectral data in the constructed space. Experimental results show that the proposed method can keep the reconstructed spectral data in [ 0, 1 ]. The precision of the space created by the proposed method is equivalent to or even higher than that by the PCA.展开更多

FBRM (Focused Beam Reflectance Measurement) can measure CLD (Chord Length Distribution) in line, but CLD is different from CSD because of principle of FBRM. However, if CSD is determined beforehand, CLD can be calculated from the CSD with statistical method. First, when crystal shape is defined from the characteristic crystal size, the matrix of each crystal shape which transforms CSD into CLD in a uniform manner is calculated with Monte Carlo analysis. Characteristic crystal size is added to the variables defining chord length in order to avoid complex integrals and apply the change in crystal shape with characteristic crystal size to the transforming matrix. Secondly, CSD and CLD are actually measured in suspension of acetaminophen in ethanol and suspension of L-arginine in water to demonstrate the validity of 2 matrices. Lastly, these matrices are multiplied by some simple CSD models to test the properties of these matrices and demonstrate the utility of this transformation.展开更多

Due to the dynamic characteristics of wheel loacis and the temperature loads, the dynamic response analysis is very significant. In this article, the dynamic analysis of asphalt pavement under moving wheel loads is carried out using finite dement method canpled with non-reflective boundary method. The influences of the base modulus, thickness, the vehicle velocity, the tire pressure, and the contact condition at the interface are studied using parametric analysis. The results of numerical analysis show that it is not appropriate to simply increase the base modulus or thickness in the design. It would be beneficial if the base design is optimized synthetically. The increase of damping is also beneficial to the pavements because of the surface deflection and the stresses declination. Furthermore, the good contact condition at the interface results in good performance because it combines every layer of the pavement to work together. As overload aggravates the working condition of the pavement, it is not allowed.展开更多

METHODS: Pulmonary artery (PA) flow and pressure were recorded in six anesthetized sheep. Acute iso- baric PH was induced by phenylephrine (active) and PA mechanical constriction (passive). We estimated the amplitude of the forward and reflected pressure waves according to the inflection point. In most cases the in- flection pressure was smooth, thus the inflection point was defined as the time at which the first derivative ofpulmonary arterial pressure reached its first minimum. We calculated the input and characteristic (Z C , time- domain Li method) impedances, the capacitance index (stroke volume/pulse pressure), the augmentation index (AI) (reflected pressure/pulse pressure), the frac- tional pulse pressure (pulse pressure/mean pressure) and the wasted energy generated by the RV due to wave reflection during ejection (E W ). RESULTS: Pulse pressure, fractional pulse pressure, AI and Z C increased and capacitance index decreased during passive PH with respect to control (P < 0.05). In contrast, Z C and the capacitance index did not change and E W and the AI decreased during active PH. Pulse pressure correlated with E W and Z C and the AI was cor- related with E W (r > 0.6, P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: PA pressure waveform analysis al- lows the quantification of the dynamic RV afterload. Prospective clinical studies will be necessary to validate this time-domain approach to evaluate the dynamic RV afterload in chronic PH.展开更多

Finally, a nonlinear optimization technique is used to determine the projection vectors of the high-dimensional multi-spectral data in the constructed space. Experimental results show that the proposed method can keep the reconstructed spectral data in [ 0, 1 ]. The precision of the space created by the proposed method is equivalent to or even higher than that by the PCA.
文摘Wave absorbing structures have been widely applied in many countries. In the present paper, the wave heights in front of a vertical wave absorbing structure with rubble foundation as well as in the wave chamber of the structure are analysed using an approximative calculation method, and the dissipating effect of the structure is verified. On the basis of the results of regular waves, the relative wave heights of irregular waves in front of the wave absorbing structure as well as in the chamber have also been analysed.

文摘The North Qilian Shan fold and thrust belt, located at the northern Tibetan Plateau and southern margin of the Hexi Corridor,is a key tectonic unit to decode the formation and expansion of the plateau.Previous studies emphasize the Cenozoic deformation due to the far-field response to the Indo-Asian collision, but the Mesozoic deformations are poorly constrained in this area.We conducted detailed field mapping, structural analysis, geochronology, and structural interpretation of deep seismic reflectional profiling and magnetotelluric(MT)sounding,to address the superposed results of the Mesozoic and Cenozoic deformation. The results recognized the North Qilian thrust and nappe system(NQTS),the root and the frontal belt are the North Qilian thrust(NQT),and the Yumu Shan klippe(YK),respectively. The middle belt is located between the NQT and the YK.Monzonitic granite zircon U-Pb dating from the middle belt yields an age of ca.415 Ma,which is similar to south NQT.The thrusting displacement is estimated at ca.48 km by structural interpretation of deep profiles. The timing is constrained in the early stage of the Early Cretaceous by the formation of simultaneous growth strata. We suggest that the NQTS has resulted from the far-field effect of the Lhasa-Qiangtang collision, and the Yumu Shan is uplifted by the superposed Cenozoic deformation.

文摘This study presents an analysis of the spectral characteristics of remote sensing reflectance(Rrs)in northwestern South China Sea based on the in situ optical and water quality data for August 2018.Rrswas initially divided into four classes, classes A to D,using the max-classification algorithm, and the spectral properties of whole Rrs were characterized using the empirical orthogonal function(EOF)analysis.Subsequently, the dominant factors in each EOF mode were determined. The results indicated that more than 95%of the variances of Rrs are partly driven by the back-scattering characteristics of the suspended matter. The initial two EOF modes were well correlated with the total suspended matter and back-scattering coefficient.Furthermore, the first EOF modes of the four classes of Rrs(A-D Rrs-EOF1)significantly contributed to the total variances of each Rrs class. In addition, the correlation coefficients between the amplitude factors of class A-D Rrs-EOF1 and the variances of the relevant water quality and optical parameters were better than those of the unclassified ones. The spectral shape of class ARrs-EOF1 was governed by the absorption characteristic of chlorophyll a and colored dissolved organic matter(CDOM).The spectral shape of class B Rrs-EOF1 was governed by the absorption characteristic of CDOM since it exhibited a high correlation with the absorption coefficient of CDOM(ag(λ)),whereas the spectral shape of class C Rrs-EOF1 was governed by the back-scattering characteristics but not affected by the suspended matter. The spectral shape of class D Rrs-EOF1 exhibited a relatively good correlation with all the water quality parameters, which played a significant role in deciding its spectral shape.
文摘In manufacturing process, it is necessary to measure change in CSD (Crystal Size Distribution) with time accurately because CSD is one of the most important indices that evaluate quality of products. Lastly, these matrices are multiplied by some simple CSD models to test the properties of these matrices and demonstrate the utility of this transformation.

文摘The spatial and temporal evolution of real contact area of contact interface with loads is a challenge. It is generally believed that there is a positive linear correlation between real contact area and normal load. However, with the development of measuring instruments and methods, some scholars have found that the growth rate of real contact area will slow down with the increase of normal load under certain conditions, such as large-scale interface contact with small roughness surface, which is called the nonlinear phenomenon of real contact area.At present, there is no unified conclusion on the explanation of this phenomenon. We set up an experimental apparatus based on the total reflection principle to verify this phenomenon and analyze its mechanism. An image processing method is proposed, which can be used to quantitative analysis micro contact behaviors on macro contact phenomenon. The weighted superposition method is used to identify micro contact spots,to calculate the real contact area, and the color superimposed image is used to identify micro contact behaviors.Based on this method, the spatiotemporal evolution mechanism of real contact area nonlinear phenomena is quantitatively analyzed.Furthermore, the influence of nonlinear phenomenon of real contact area on the whole loading and unloading process is analyzed experimentally. It is found that the effects of fluid between contact interface, normal load amplitude and initial contact state on contact behavior cannot be ignored in large-scale interface contact with small roughness surface.
文摘In order to make more available methods for natural jadeite quality evaluation, this study applied rigorous coupled wave theory to calculate and simulate the reflection characteristics of various natural jadeites, and establish evaluation standard based on the relationship between refractive index and reflectivity and responses of reflection efficiency to refractive index, grating thickness and incident angles, etc. The results suggest that reflection efficiency varies significantly as a function of the natural jadeite quality, which can provide a new method to evaluate natural jadeite.

文摘The responses of the pavement in service are the basis for the design of the semi-rigid base course asphalt pavement. As overload aggravates the working condition of the pavement, it is not allowed.

文摘AIM: To characterize hydraulic right ventricle (RV) af- terload by pulmonary arterial pressure waveform analy- sis in an acute pulmonary hypertension (PH) model. Prospective clinical studies will be necessary to validate this time-domain approach to evaluate the dynamic RV afterload in chronic PH.
