Ferroptosis is a novel form of cell death driven by oxidative damage,and is implicated in various pathological conditions,including neurodegenerative diseases,retinal damage,and ischemia-reperfusion injury of organs.I...Ferroptosis is a novel form of cell death driven by oxidative damage,and is implicated in various pathological conditions,including neurodegenerative diseases,retinal damage,and ischemia-reperfusion injury of organs.Inhibiting ferroptosis has shown great promise as a therapeutic strategy for these diseases,underscoring the urgent need to develop effective ferroptosis inhibitors.Although Ferrostatin-1(Fer-1)is a potent ferroptosis inhibitor,its susceptibility to oxidation and metabolic inactivation limits its clinical utility.In this study,the accumulation of peroxides and the resulting oxidative damage in the cellular microenvironment during ferroptosis were utilized to design Ferrostatin-1 prodrugs with reactive oxygen species-responsive features.This approach led to the development of a series of ferroptosis inhibitors that were capable of recognizing oxidative damage in diseased areas,allowing for targeted release and improved stability.The novel compounds demonstrated significant inhibitory effects and selectivity against RSL-3-induced ferroptosis in HK-2 cells,with compound a1 exhibiting an EC50 of 15.4�0.7μM,outperforming Fer-1.These compounds effectively identify the oxidative microenvironment associated with ferroptosis,enabling the targeted release of Fer-1,which prevents lipid peroxide accumulation and inhibits ferroptosis.This strategy holds promise for treating diseases related to ferroptosis,offering a targeted and intelligent therapeutic approach.展开更多

A composite exponenti...In this paper, a model of topology optimization with linear buckling constraints is established based on an independent and continuous mapping method to minimize the plate/shell structure weight. A composite exponential function（CEF） is selected as filtering functions for element weight, the element stiffness matrix and the element geometric stiffness matrix, which recognize the design variables, and to implement the changing process of design variables from“discrete” to “continuous” and back to “discrete”. The buckling constraints are approximated as explicit formulations based on the Taylor expansion and the filtering function. The optimization model is transformed to dual programming and solved by the dual sequence quadratic programming algorithm. Finally, three numerical examples with power function and CEF as filter function are analyzed and discussed to demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed method.展开更多

Determination of the elemental distributions in nuts is not only necessary in evaluating the total dietary intake of the essential elements, but also useful in detecting heavy metal contamination in food. The aim of this study was to determine the mineral contents in edible nuts, and to assess the food safety of nuts in the Beijing market. Levels of Li, Cr, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Mo, Cd, Cs, Ba, Pb, Th, and U in 11 types of edible nuts and seeds （macadamia nuts, lotus nuts, pistachios, sunflower seeds, pine nuts, almonds, walnuts, chestnuts, hazelnuts, cashews, and ginkgo nuts） as well as raisins were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry （ICP-MS）. The accuracy of the method was validated using standard reference materials GBWlO014 （cabbage） and GBWlO016 （tea）. Our results provide useful information for evaluating the levels of trace elements in edible nuts in the Beijing market, will be helpful for improving food safety, and will aid in better protecting consumer interests.展开更多

Three grades were divided according to the architectural and cellular atypia of the globoid dys-plasias. The penetration of outer layer globoid dys-plastic cells through the basement membrane of 'the structure of double layers' appeared in typical globoid dysplasia grade II and the infiltration of the globoid dysplastic cells into stroma as well as the formation of incipient focus of signet ring cell carcinoma were described. The twinkling scene of the infiltration of the globoid dysplastic cells into lamina propria through the basement membrane, and the destroying of the basement membrane by the globoid dysplastic cells were shown by means of Gordon Sweet's staining. Through the analysis as for the distribution characteristics of ages and sexes in 61 globoid dysplasia cases and 51 signet ring cell carcinomas, a fact was discovered that the mobility of female cases was ten years prior to that of male ones in average. A conclusion could be made that the globoid dysplasia might be an important precan-cerous lesion of the signet ring cell carcinoma of the stomach.展开更多
Although Zagros forests in western Iran lack industrial timber value due to the severe climate and socioeconomics problems, non-timber products are of great value and importance due to their high economic potential an...Although Zagros forests in western Iran lack industrial timber value due to the severe climate and socioeconomics problems, non-timber products are of great value and importance due to their high economic potential and also their potential to improve the welfare of forestdwelling and forest-fringe villagers. This study was done in the forests of the Zemkan basin, an important part of central Zagros forests, Iran, to recognize the non-timber forest products（NTFPS）, investigate their potential economic value and role in people＇s livelihood. Data, collected using forest cruising, participatory observations, interviews with indigenous and local persons and experts, identified wild pistachio resin, wild pistachio fruit, oak fruit and oak syrup（Shokeh manna） among the non-timber products in this basin with total potential harvestable NTFPs of 77.16,771.602, 13248.68, and 1324.868 tons per year,respectively. The economic rent from NTFPs is 33 US$/ha/year and its total expected values with consideration of real interest rate when the exploiter invests the capital in the bank（6.4 %） and when money is borrowed from the bank to execute the incorporated projects（8.4 %） are $516/ha and $393/ha, respectively. Furthermore, families＇ economic share from potential profit of NTFPs is annually$601 per household. In addition wild pistachio resin has the highest share of the total potential profit of NTFPs and its equal to 51 % of the total of potential profit of NTFPs.Therefore, it is suggested that decisions be made to increase the infrastructure and strengthen the local selling market to enhance the cash income from NTFPs. Forest participatory management practices are suggested to organize and improve traditional use of the forests.展开更多

The structural characterization, spectroscopic properties and thermal stability of these monomers and polymers were systematically explored by FTIR spectra, Raman spectra, XRD spectra, UV-Vis spectra and thermogravimetric analysis. As chiral electrode materials, these polymers were employed to successfully recognize 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine（DOPA） enantiomers by cyclic voltammetry（CV） in sulphuric acid solution. The measurement results reveal that the tendency was hetero-chiral interaction between L-PEDOT-Met/PVA/GCE and D-DOPA, D-PEDOT-Met/PVA/GCE and L-DOPA, respectively. Also, the mechanism of chiral discrimination was discussed. All the results implied that the combination of electrochemical molecular recognition technology and chiral PEDOT materials can be a promising approach for chiral recognition and may open new opportunities for facile, biocompatible, sensitive and robust chiral assays in biochemical applications.展开更多

Currently the sketch-based retrieval approach makes search more convenient, but its accuracy is not high enough; on the other hand, the semantic-based retrieval approach fully utilizes high level semantic information, and makes search much closer to engineers＇ intent.However, effectively extracting and representing semantic information from data sets is difficult.Aiming at these problems, we proposed a sketch-based semantic retrieval approach for reusing3 D CAD models. Firstly a fine granularity semantic descriptor is designed for representing 3D CAD models; Secondly, several heuristic rules are adopted to recognize 3D features from 2D sketch, and the correspondences between 3D feature and 2D loops are built; Finally, semantic and shape similarity measurements are combined together to match the input sketch to 3D CAD models. Hence the retrieval accuracy is improved. A sketch-based prototype system is developed.Experimental results validate the feasibility and effectiveness of our proposed approach.展开更多

A conclusion could be made that the globoid dysplasia might be an important precan-cerous lesion of the signet ring cell carcinoma of the stomach.

文摘Although Zagros forests in western Iran lack industrial timber value due to the severe climate and socioeconomics problems, non-timber products are of great value and importance due to their high economic potential and also their potential to improve the welfare of forestdwelling and forest-fringe villagers. This study was done in the forests of the Zemkan basin, an important part of central Zagros forests, Iran, to recognize the non-timber forest products（NTFPS）, investigate their potential economic value and role in people＇s livelihood. Data, collected using forest cruising, participatory observations, interviews with indigenous and local persons and experts, identified wild pistachio resin, wild pistachio fruit, oak fruit and oak syrup（Shokeh manna） among the non-timber products in this basin with total potential harvestable NTFPs of 77.16,771.602, 13248.68, and 1324.868 tons per year,respectively. The economic rent from NTFPs is 33 US$/ha/year and its total expected values with consideration of real interest rate when the exploiter invests the capital in the bank（6.4 %） and when money is borrowed from the bank to execute the incorporated projects（8.4 %） are $516/ha and $393/ha, respectively. Furthermore, families＇ economic share from potential profit of NTFPs is annually$601 per household. In addition wild pistachio resin has the highest share of the total potential profit of NTFPs and its equal to 51 % of the total of potential profit of NTFPs.Therefore, it is suggested that decisions be made to increase the infrastructure and strengthen the local selling market to enhance the cash income from NTFPs. Forest participatory management practices are suggested to organize and improve traditional use of the forests.

文摘Two pairs of amino-acid functionalized poly（3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene）（PEDOT） derivatives, namely, poly（N-（tert-butoxycarbonyl）-L-methionyl（3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene-2＇-yl）methylamide）（L-PEDOT-Boc-Met） and poly（N-（tertbutoxycarbonyl）-D-methionyl（3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene-2＇-yl）methylamide）（D-PEDOT-Boc-Met）; poly（L-methionyl（3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene-2＇-yl）methylamide）（L-PEDOT-Met） and poly（D-methionyl（3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene-2＇-yl）methylamide）（D-PEDOT-Met） were synthesized via chemical oxidative polymerization of corresponding monomers. The structural characterization, spectroscopic properties and thermal stability of these monomers and polymers were systematically explored by FTIR spectra, Raman spectra, XRD spectra, UV-Vis spectra and thermogravimetric analysis. As chiral electrode materials, these polymers were employed to successfully recognize 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine（DOPA） enantiomers by cyclic voltammetry（CV） in sulphuric acid solution. The measurement results reveal that the tendency was hetero-chiral interaction between L-PEDOT-Met/PVA/GCE and D-DOPA, D-PEDOT-Met/PVA/GCE and L-DOPA, respectively. Also, the mechanism of chiral discrimination was discussed. All the results implied that the combination of electrochemical molecular recognition technology and chiral PEDOT materials can be a promising approach for chiral recognition and may open new opportunities for facile, biocompatible, sensitive and robust chiral assays in biochemical applications.

文摘During the new product development process, reusing the existing CAD models could avoid designing from scratch and decrease human cost. With the advent of big data,how to rapidly and efficiently find out suitable 3D CAD models for design reuse is taken more attention. Currently the sketch-based retrieval approach makes search more convenient, but its accuracy is not high enough; on the other hand, the semantic-based retrieval approach fully utilizes high level semantic information, and makes search much closer to engineers＇ intent.However, effectively extracting and representing semantic information from data sets is difficult.Aiming at these problems, we proposed a sketch-based semantic retrieval approach for reusing3 D CAD models. Firstly a fine granularity semantic descriptor is designed for representing 3D CAD models; Secondly, several heuristic rules are adopted to recognize 3D features from 2D sketch, and the correspondences between 3D feature and 2D loops are built; Finally, semantic and shape similarity measurements are combined together to match the input sketch to 3D CAD models. Hence the retrieval accuracy is improved. A sketch-based prototype system is developed.Experimental results validate the feasibility and effectiveness of our proposed approach.
