Chromosomal rearrangements(CRs)often cause phenotypic variations.Although several major rearrangements have been identified in Triticeae,a comprehensive study of the order,timing,and breakpoints of CRs has not been co...Chromosomal rearrangements(CRs)often cause phenotypic variations.Although several major rearrangements have been identified in Triticeae,a comprehensive study of the order,timing,and breakpoints of CRs has not been conducted.Here,we reconstruct high-quality ancestral genomes for the most recent common ancestor(MRCA)of the Triticeae,and the MRCA of the wheat lineage(Triticum and Aegilops).The protogenes of MRCA of the Triticeae and the wheat lineage are 22,894 and 29,060,respectively,which were arranged in their ancestral order.By partitioning modern Triticeae chromosomes into sets of syntenic regions and linking each to the corresponding protochromosomes,we revisit the rye chromosome structural evolution and propose alternative evolutionary routes.The previously identified 4L/5L reciprocal translocation in rye and Triticum urartu is found to have occurred independently and is unlikely to be the result of chromosomal introgression following distant hybridization.We also clarify that the 4AL/7BS translocation in tetraploid wheat was a bidirectional rather than unidirectional translocation event.Lastly,we identify several breakpoints in protochromosomes that independently reoccur following Triticeae evolution,representing potential CR hotspots.This study demonstrates that these reconstructed ancestral genomes can serve as special comparative references and facilitate a better understanding of the evolution of structural rearrangements in Triticeae.展开更多

Interface modulation is an important pathway for highly efficient electromagnetic wave absorption.Herein,tailored interfaces between Fe_(3)O_(4)particles and the hexagonal-YFeO_(3)(h-YFeO_(3))framework were constructe...Interface modulation is an important pathway for highly efficient electromagnetic wave absorption.Herein,tailored interfaces between Fe_(3)O_(4)particles and the hexagonal-YFeO_(3)(h-YFeO_(3))framework were constructed via facile self-assembly.The resulting interfa-cial electron rearrangement at the heterojunction led to enhanced dielectric and magnetic loss synergy.Experimental results and density function theory(DFT)simulations demonstrate a transition in electrical properties from a half-metallic monophase to metallic Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)composites,emphasizing the advantages of the formed heterointerface.The transformation of electron behavior is also accompan-ied by a redistribution of electrons at the Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)heterojunction,leading to the accumulation of localized electrons around the Y-O-Fe band bridge,consequently enhancing the polarization.A minimum reflection loss of-34.0 dB can be achieved at 12.0 GHz and 2.0 mm thickness with an effective bandwidth of 3.3 GHz due to the abundant interfaces,enhanced polarization,and rational impedance.Thus,the synergistic effects endow the Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)composites with high performance and tunable functional properties for efficient electromagnetic absorption.展开更多

Mitogenomes have been widely used in phylogenetic and taxonomic research,due to their maternal inheritance,accelerated evolutionary rates,compact circular structure,and the absence of introns.Although their utility is...Mitogenomes have been widely used in phylogenetic and taxonomic research,due to their maternal inheritance,accelerated evolutionary rates,compact circular structure,and the absence of introns.Although their utility is well-established,efficient mitogenome sequencing still poses a challenge for evolutionary studies.Here,we presented a novel hybridization capture protocol that enables high-fidelity sequencing of the complete mitogenome(16535 bp)of Odorrana nasuta.This genome exhibits typical anuran characteristics,including an A+T nucleotide bias(56.37%)and conserved gene composition.Notably,we identified a lineage-specific trnH transposition event that reorganizes the typical gene order into a unique trnH-trnL1-trnT-trnP-trnF cluster,which may be a potential synapomorphic trait for the genus Odorrana.Phylogenetic reconstruction using 13 protein-coding genes from 59 anuran species strongly supported the monophyly of Ranidae and its constituent genera(Odorrana,Rana,Lithobates,Amolops,Pelophylax,Glandirana),yet reveals the incongruence in the placement of Hylarana.The conflicting topologies observed for Hylarana and Glandirana across different studies highlight critical methodological limitations,including taxonomic sampling biases and data type dependency,which collectively compromise phylogenetic resolution.By integrating mitogenomic structure signatures with sequence-based phylogenies,this work advances our understanding of the systematics within Odorrana and highlights the need of multi-locus genomic datasets for resolving deep phylogenetic conflicts within Ranidae.展开更多

A comprehensive mechanistic study on the chiral phosphoric acid catalyzed an enantioselective asymmetric aza-pinacol rearrangement of 4-chloro-N-(2-(3'-hydroxy-1'-phenylspiro[cyclopentane-1,2'-indolin]-3...A comprehensive mechanistic study on the chiral phosphoric acid catalyzed an enantioselective asymmetric aza-pinacol rearrangement of 4-chloro-N-(2-(3'-hydroxy-1'-phenylspiro[cyclopentane-1,2'-indolin]-3'-yl)ethyl)(1a)is investigated at the M06-2X/6-311+G(d,p)level.Our computational results suggest that the whole catalytic cycle proceeds through dehydration of 1a,enantioselective aza-pinacol rearrangement,intramolecular cyclization and catalyst regeneration to deliver the fused indoline product.The aza-pinacol rearrangement is the key stereocontrolling step of the title reaction.The chiral catalyst controls the orientation of the transition states of the enantioselective step through two potential binding sites between the bifunctional chiral phosphate and the aza-ortho-xylylene intermediate.Moreover,theoretical studies identified that the multiple C—H…π,C—H…O,and C—H…N hydrogen bonds and N—H…O^(-)electrostatic interactions between the substrates and the arms as well as functional oxygen anion of the chiral catalyst(R)-4c play a crucial role in determining the stereochemical outcomes.And the strong N—H…O^(-)interaction in the major transition state was found to contribute to the high levels of enantioselectivity.Additionally,the predicted enantiomeric excess(ee)of 89%based on the 6.3 kJ·mol^(–1)energy difference between the enantioselective TS-2-major and TS-2-minor is in agreement with the experimental results of 90%.展开更多

The side reaction between the active material and liquid-electrolyte cause structural damage and particle pulverization is one of the important factors leading to the capacity decay of LiNi0.80Co0.15Al0.05O2(NCA)mater...The side reaction between the active material and liquid-electrolyte cause structural damage and particle pulverization is one of the important factors leading to the capacity decay of LiNi0.80Co0.15Al0.05O2(NCA)materials in Li ion batteries(LIBs).Surface modification is an effective strategy for NCA cathodes,which could alleviate the degradation associated with surface processes.Herein,a surface structure rearrangement of NCA cathode secondary particles was reported by in-situ forming a solid electrolyte LiBO2.The LiBO2 is beneficial for alleviating the stress during charge/discharge process,thereby slowing down the rate of cracks formation in the secondary particles,which facilitates the Li+de-intercalation as well as prevents penetration of the liquid-electrolyte into the interior of the particles.As a result,the surface structure rearrangement NCA(RS-NCA)delivers a high discharge capacity of 202.5 m Ah g^-1 at 0.1 C,and exhibits excellent cycle stability with discharge capacity retaining 148 m Ah g^-1 after 200 cycles at 2 C.This surface structure rearrangement approach provides a new viewpoint in designing high-performance high-voltage LIBs.展开更多
AIM:To study the diagnostic value of immunoglobulin heavy chain(IgH)and T-cell receptorγ (TCR-γ)gene monoclonal rearrangements in primary gastric lymphoma(PGL).METHODS:A total of 48 patients with suspected PGL at ou...AIM:To study the diagnostic value of immunoglobulin heavy chain(IgH)and T-cell receptorγ (TCR-γ)gene monoclonal rearrangements in primary gastric lymphoma(PGL).METHODS:A total of 48 patients with suspected PGL at our hospital were prospectively enrolled in this study from January 2009 to December 2011.The patients were divided into three groups(a PGL group,a gastric linitis plastica group,and a benign gastric ulcer group)based on the pathological results(gastric mucosal specimens obtained by endoscopy or surgery)and follow-up.Endoscopic ultrasonography(EUS)and EUSguided biopsy were performed in all the patients.The tissue specimens were used for histopathological examination and for IgH and TCR-γ gene rearrangement polymerase chain reaction analyses.RESULTS:EUS and EUS-guided biopsy were successfully performed in all 48 patients.In the PGL group(n=21),monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements were detected in 14(66.7%)patients.A positive result for each set of primers was found in 12(57.1%),8(38.1%),and 4(19.0%)cases using FR1/JH,FR2/JH,and FR3/JH primers,respectively.Overall,12(75%)patients with mucosal-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma(n=16)and 2(40%)patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(n=5)were positive for monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements.No patients in the gastric linitis plastica group(n=17)and only one(10%)patient in the benign gastric ulcer group(n=10)were positive for a monoclonal IgH gene rearrangement.No TCRgene monoclonal rearrangements were detected.The sensitivity of monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements was 66.7%for a PGL diagnosis,and the specificity was96.4%.In the PGL group,8(100%)patients with stage IIE PGL(n=8)and 6(46.1%)patients with stage IE PGL(n=13)were positive for monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements.CONCLUSION:IgH gene rearrangements may be associated with PGL staging and may be useful for the diagnosis of PGL and for differentiating between PGL and gastric linitis plastica.展开更多

Recently, rearrangement of MYC is associated wi...Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS)-related lymphoma (ARL) remains the main cause of AIDS-related deaths in the highly active anti-retroviral therapy (HAART) era. Recently, rearrangement of MYC is associated with poor prognosis in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Here, we report a rare case of gastrointestinal (GI)-ARL with MYC rearrangements and coinfected with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection presenting with various endoscopic findings. A 38-yearold homosexual man who presented with anemia and was diagnosed with an human immunodeficiency virus infection for the first time. GI endoscopy revealed multiple dish-like lesions, ulcerations, bloody spots, nodular masses with active bleeding in the stomach, erythematous flat lesions in the duodenum, and multiple nodular masses in the colon and rectum. Magnified endoscopy with narrow band imaging showed a honeycomb-like pattern without irregular microvessels in the dish-like lesions of the stomach. Biopsy specimens from the stomach, duodenum, colon, and rectum revealed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma concomitant with EBV infection that was detected by high tissue EBV-polymerase chain reaction levels and Epstein-Barr virus small RNAs in situ hybridization. Fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis revealed a fusion between the immunoglobulin heavy chain (IgH) and c-MYC genes, but not between the IgH and BCL2 loci. After 1-mo of treatment with HAART and R-CHOP, endoscopic appearance improved remarkably, and the histological features of the biopsy specimens revealed no evidence of lymphoma. However, he died from multiple organ failure on the 139 th day after diagnosis. The cause of his poor outcome may be related to MYC rearrangement. The GI tract involvement in ARL is rarely reported, and its endoscopic findings are various and may be different from those in non-AIDS GI lymphoma; thus, we also conducted a literature review of GI-ARL cases.展开更多

Transferring foreign DNA into plant cells by biolistic and Agrobacterium _mediated methods may result in random integration of different copy numbers of the transgene, and different proportions of intact vs. rearra...Transferring foreign DNA into plant cells by biolistic and Agrobacterium _mediated methods may result in random integration of different copy numbers of the transgene, and different proportions of intact vs. rearranged copies of the transgene. This may, in turn, affect transgene expression levels. To test the above hypothesis, we first introduced the same plasmid, pAc1PG_CAM, into rice (Oryza sativa L.) calli separately by the biolistic method and by the Agrobacterium _mediated method. To show whether different plasmids may affect the results, we also introduced pTOK233 by the Agrobacterium _mediated method and pJPM44 by the biolistic method. Transgene expression of R0 plants was monitored by histochemical analysis of GUS activity. Transgene copy number was determined by Southern blot analysis after digesting genomic DNA with an enzyme that has a unique cutting site within the input plasmid. The total genomic DNA was also digested by a two_cut enzyme (the cuts are located at two sides of a given transgene expression cassette), followed by Southern blotting analysis, for determining the number of intact transgene expression cassettes. Our data showed that Agrobacterium _mediated transformation resulted in lower transgene copy number (average between 2.1 and 2.3) in transgenic rice plants, compared with those plants obtained by the biolistic method (average between 4.2 and 5.6). The frequency of DNA rearrangement in expression cassettes is lower in transgenic rice plants obtained by the Agrobacterium _ mediated method than those obtained by the biolistic method. The average rearrangement frequency is 0.07 to 0.106 for the Agrobacterium _mediated method, and 0.57 to 0.66 for the biolistic method. Our results suggest that it is better to compare the number of intact expression cassettes instead of the total copy number of the transgene in demonstrating their influence on the level of transgene expression. This is the first report on the frequency of expression cassette rearrangement in transgenic plants transformed with the same plasmid by two different transformation methods.展开更多

According to the suggested mechanism, the basic approach was the rearrangement of OXH+ while the SO3 acts as dehydrating agent and OXSO3 can turn to CPLSO3 ultimately. Considering self-catalyzed reaction between OXSO3 and CPLH+, kinetic model for Beckmann rearrangement was established. Corresponding parameters were estimated by using float genetic algorithm (GA) and simulation results agree well with the experimental data below -19.3℃. Industrial equipment was simulated and analyzed. Effects of key process parameters such as molar ratio of sulfuric acid to oxime and circulation ratio on the residual oxime are also discussed. The results show that the caprolactam exists as CPLH+ finally in oleum and the minimum molecular ratio of sulfuric acid to oxime can be 0.5 theoretically.展开更多
The rational modulation of electronic structure is highly desirable to develop an efficient alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalyst for renewable energy applications.Metal hydroxide such as Ni(OH)_(2) has be...The rational modulation of electronic structure is highly desirable to develop an efficient alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalyst for renewable energy applications.Metal hydroxide such as Ni(OH)_(2) has been proven useful for promoting alkaline HER,but the performance remains unsatisfactory.Herein,the electronic structure of Ni(OH)_(2) is modulated by the interfacial electron rearrangement between Ni-Ni(OH)_(2) heterojunction.Combined experiments with DFT simulations,the electrons of Ni species accumulate to the interfacial Ni-Ni(OH)_(2) sites,which modifies the d band center for promoting conversion of hydrogen intermediates and narrows the energy gap for boosting charge transfer in the HER process.Thus,the integrated electrode exhibits an efficient HER performance to drive10 mA cm^(-2) at the overpotential of 72 mV with a low Tafel slope of 43 mV dec^(-1).Our work renders a valuable insight for understanding and rationally designing efficient catalysts in alkaline HER.展开更多

Based on these findings,the tumor was defined as an invasion of FL.T-FISH method is useful for the detection of a monoclonality of atypical lymphocytes in an SMT of the gastrointestinal tract,and particularly for the detection of chromosomal translocations specific to lymphoma subtypes.展开更多

An unstable multicentric chromosome was found in the progeny of a 6R/6D substitution line. Drastic variation of terminal heterochromatin including movement and disappearance of terminal heterochromatin occurred in the progeny of wheat- rye addition line 3R, and the 5RS ditelosomic addition line. Highly stable minichromosomes were observed in the progeny ofa monosomic 4R addition line, a ditelosomic 5RS addition line and a 6R/6D substitution line. Minichromosomes, with and without the FISH signals for telomeric DNA (TTTAGGG)n, derived from a monosomic 4R addition line are stable and transmissible to the next generation. The results indicated that centromeres and terminal heterochromatin can be profoundly altered in wheat-rye hybrid derivatives.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Through deeper understanding of targetable driver mutations in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC)over the past years,some patients with driver mutations have benefited from the targeted molecular therapies.Although the anaplastic lymphoma kinase and BRAF mutations are not frequent subtypes in NSCLC,the availability of several targeted-drugs has been confirmed through a series of clinical trials.But little is clear about the proper strategy in rare BRAF G469A mutation,not to mention co-exhibition of anaplastic lymphoma kinase and BRAF G469A mutations,which is extremely rare in NSCLC.CASE SUMMARY We present a patient to stage IVA lung adenocarcinoma with coexisting echinoderm microtubule associated protein like-4 rearrangement and BRAF G469A mutation.She received several targeted drugs with unintended resistance and suffered from unbearable adverse events.CONCLUSION Due to the rarity of co-mutations,the case not only enriches the limited literature on NSCLC harbouring BRAF G469A and echinoderm microtubule associated protein like-4 mutations,but also suggests the efficacy and safety of specific multiple-drug therapy in such patients.

文摘Chromosomal rearrangements(CRs)often cause phenotypic variations.Although several major rearrangements have been identified in Triticeae,a comprehensive study of the order,timing,and breakpoints of CRs has not been conducted.Here,we reconstruct high-quality ancestral genomes for the most recent common ancestor(MRCA)of the Triticeae,and the MRCA of the wheat lineage(Triticum and Aegilops).The protogenes of MRCA of the Triticeae and the wheat lineage are 22,894 and 29,060,respectively,which were arranged in their ancestral order.By partitioning modern Triticeae chromosomes into sets of syntenic regions and linking each to the corresponding protochromosomes,we revisit the rye chromosome structural evolution and propose alternative evolutionary routes.The previously identified 4L/5L reciprocal translocation in rye and Triticum urartu is found to have occurred independently and is unlikely to be the result of chromosomal introgression following distant hybridization.We also clarify that the 4AL/7BS translocation in tetraploid wheat was a bidirectional rather than unidirectional translocation event.Lastly,we identify several breakpoints in protochromosomes that independently reoccur following Triticeae evolution,representing potential CR hotspots.This study demonstrates that these reconstructed ancestral genomes can serve as special comparative references and facilitate a better understanding of the evolution of structural rearrangements in Triticeae.

文摘Herein,we report an iron-promoted carbonylation-rearrangement ofα-aminoaryl-tethered alkylidene cyclopropanes with CO_(2)to generate quinolinofuran derivatives.A variety of quinolinofuran derivatives are obtained in moderate to excellent yields,and two promising luminescent material molecules have been synthesized using the developed method.The Lewis acid Fe Cl_(3)was introduced into this reaction,which effectively promoted the ring opening and rearrangement of cyclopropanes.This reaction features a broad substrate scope,satisfactory functional group tolerance,facile scalability,and easy derivatization of the products.

文摘Interface modulation is an important pathway for highly efficient electromagnetic wave absorption.Herein,tailored interfaces between Fe_(3)O_(4)particles and the hexagonal-YFeO_(3)(h-YFeO_(3))framework were constructed via facile self-assembly.The resulting interfa-cial electron rearrangement at the heterojunction led to enhanced dielectric and magnetic loss synergy.Experimental results and density function theory(DFT)simulations demonstrate a transition in electrical properties from a half-metallic monophase to metallic Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)composites,emphasizing the advantages of the formed heterointerface.The transformation of electron behavior is also accompan-ied by a redistribution of electrons at the Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)heterojunction,leading to the accumulation of localized electrons around the Y-O-Fe band bridge,consequently enhancing the polarization.A minimum reflection loss of-34.0 dB can be achieved at 12.0 GHz and 2.0 mm thickness with an effective bandwidth of 3.3 GHz due to the abundant interfaces,enhanced polarization,and rational impedance.Thus,the synergistic effects endow the Fe_(3)O_(4)/h-YFeO_(3)composites with high performance and tunable functional properties for efficient electromagnetic absorption.

文摘A visible light-promoted fast photochemical Wolff rearrangement was developed toward synthesis ofα-substituted amides in continuous flow with the use of a photochemical oscillatory flow reactor(POFR).The control experiment indicates that a fast process of the Wolff rearrangement(<40 s)is involved.Notably,this protocol does not require excess use of any reactants,and the resultingα-substituted amides could be isolated by recrystallization in good to excellent yields.

文摘Mitogenomes have been widely used in phylogenetic and taxonomic research,due to their maternal inheritance,accelerated evolutionary rates,compact circular structure,and the absence of introns.Although their utility is well-established,efficient mitogenome sequencing still poses a challenge for evolutionary studies.Here,we presented a novel hybridization capture protocol that enables high-fidelity sequencing of the complete mitogenome(16535 bp)of Odorrana nasuta.This genome exhibits typical anuran characteristics,including an A+T nucleotide bias(56.37%)and conserved gene composition.Notably,we identified a lineage-specific trnH transposition event that reorganizes the typical gene order into a unique trnH-trnL1-trnT-trnP-trnF cluster,which may be a potential synapomorphic trait for the genus Odorrana.Phylogenetic reconstruction using 13 protein-coding genes from 59 anuran species strongly supported the monophyly of Ranidae and its constituent genera(Odorrana,Rana,Lithobates,Amolops,Pelophylax,Glandirana),yet reveals the incongruence in the placement of Hylarana.The conflicting topologies observed for Hylarana and Glandirana across different studies highlight critical methodological limitations,including taxonomic sampling biases and data type dependency,which collectively compromise phylogenetic resolution.By integrating mitogenomic structure signatures with sequence-based phylogenies,this work advances our understanding of the systematics within Odorrana and highlights the need of multi-locus genomic datasets for resolving deep phylogenetic conflicts within Ranidae.

文摘The radical difunctionalization of alkenes with sulfonyl bifunctional represents a powerful and straightforward approach to access functionalized alkane derivatives.However,both the mechanistic activation mode and the substrate scopes of this type of radical difunctionalizations are still limited.We demonstrate herein a modular photoredox strategy for the difunctionalization of alkenes,employing arylsulfonyl acetate as the bifunctional reagent.This approach involves a radical addition/Smiles rearrangement cascade process,offering a robust alternative for the synthesis of valuableγ,γ-diaryl andγ-aryl esters.A complementary oxidative bifunctional reagents activation mode is identified to govern the radical cascade reactions,facilitating the simultaneous incorporation of aryl and carboxylate-bearing alkyl groups into the alkenes with excellent diastereoselectivity.Noteworthy features of this method include mild reaction conditions,organophotocatalysis,high atom-and step-economy,excellent functional group compatibility and great structural diversity.

文摘A comprehensive mechanistic study on the chiral phosphoric acid catalyzed an enantioselective asymmetric aza-pinacol rearrangement of 4-chloro-N-(2-(3'-hydroxy-1'-phenylspiro[cyclopentane-1,2'-indolin]-3'-yl)ethyl)(1a)is investigated at the M06-2X/6-311+G(d,p)level.Our computational results suggest that the whole catalytic cycle proceeds through dehydration of 1a,enantioselective aza-pinacol rearrangement,intramolecular cyclization and catalyst regeneration to deliver the fused indoline product.The aza-pinacol rearrangement is the key stereocontrolling step of the title reaction.The chiral catalyst controls the orientation of the transition states of the enantioselective step through two potential binding sites between the bifunctional chiral phosphate and the aza-ortho-xylylene intermediate.Moreover,theoretical studies identified that the multiple C—H…π,C—H…O,and C—H…N hydrogen bonds and N—H…O^(-)electrostatic interactions between the substrates and the arms as well as functional oxygen anion of the chiral catalyst(R)-4c play a crucial role in determining the stereochemical outcomes.And the strong N—H…O^(-)interaction in the major transition state was found to contribute to the high levels of enantioselectivity.Additionally,the predicted enantiomeric excess(ee)of 89%based on the 6.3 kJ·mol^(–1)energy difference between the enantioselective TS-2-major and TS-2-minor is in agreement with the experimental results of 90%.

文摘The Meinwald rearrangement has proven to be one of the most useful tools in organic synthesis.However,examples of asymmetric Meinwald rearrangements are quite scarce,and these reactions have so far been limited to the use of chiral Br?nsted acids as catalysts.Here,we report a copper-catalyzed asymmetric cascade cyclization/Meinwald rearrangement reaction,allowing the practical and atom-economic synthesis of a range of chiral tricyclic pyrroles bearing a chiral oxa-quaternary carbon stereocenter in high yields and enantioselectivities.Thus,this protocol not only represents the first transition-metal-catalyzed enantioselective Meinwald rearrangement,but also constitutes the first example of asymmetric formal monocarbon insertion into C-O bond of ester.Moreover,theoretical calculations provide further evidence for this multiple cascade cyclization and elucidate the origin of enantioselectivity.

文摘An efficient method for the preparation of 2-deoxy-glycopyranosides was developed by using 2,3-anhydrothioglycosides as the glycosylating agents.The reaction proceeded by the Cu(OTf)_2-mediated rearrangement of 2,3-anhydrothiosugars.And high anomeric stereoselectivity was achieved.The disclosed methodology may find applications in the preparation of many biologically important 2-deoxy-glycosides.

文摘The side reaction between the active material and liquid-electrolyte cause structural damage and particle pulverization is one of the important factors leading to the capacity decay of LiNi0.80Co0.15Al0.05O2(NCA)materials in Li ion batteries(LIBs).Surface modification is an effective strategy for NCA cathodes,which could alleviate the degradation associated with surface processes.Herein,a surface structure rearrangement of NCA cathode secondary particles was reported by in-situ forming a solid electrolyte LiBO2.The LiBO2 is beneficial for alleviating the stress during charge/discharge process,thereby slowing down the rate of cracks formation in the secondary particles,which facilitates the Li+de-intercalation as well as prevents penetration of the liquid-electrolyte into the interior of the particles.As a result,the surface structure rearrangement NCA(RS-NCA)delivers a high discharge capacity of 202.5 m Ah g^-1 at 0.1 C,and exhibits excellent cycle stability with discharge capacity retaining 148 m Ah g^-1 after 200 cycles at 2 C.This surface structure rearrangement approach provides a new viewpoint in designing high-performance high-voltage LIBs.

文摘AIM:To study the diagnostic value of immunoglobulin heavy chain(IgH)and T-cell receptorγ (TCR-γ)gene monoclonal rearrangements in primary gastric lymphoma(PGL).METHODS:A total of 48 patients with suspected PGL at our hospital were prospectively enrolled in this study from January 2009 to December 2011.The patients were divided into three groups(a PGL group,a gastric linitis plastica group,and a benign gastric ulcer group)based on the pathological results(gastric mucosal specimens obtained by endoscopy or surgery)and follow-up.Endoscopic ultrasonography(EUS)and EUSguided biopsy were performed in all the patients.The tissue specimens were used for histopathological examination and for IgH and TCR-γ gene rearrangement polymerase chain reaction analyses.RESULTS:EUS and EUS-guided biopsy were successfully performed in all 48 patients.In the PGL group(n=21),monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements were detected in 14(66.7%)patients.A positive result for each set of primers was found in 12(57.1%),8(38.1%),and 4(19.0%)cases using FR1/JH,FR2/JH,and FR3/JH primers,respectively.Overall,12(75%)patients with mucosal-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma(n=16)and 2(40%)patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(n=5)were positive for monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements.No patients in the gastric linitis plastica group(n=17)and only one(10%)patient in the benign gastric ulcer group(n=10)were positive for a monoclonal IgH gene rearrangement.No TCRgene monoclonal rearrangements were detected.The sensitivity of monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements was 66.7%for a PGL diagnosis,and the specificity was96.4%.In the PGL group,8(100%)patients with stage IIE PGL(n=8)and 6(46.1%)patients with stage IE PGL(n=13)were positive for monoclonal IgH gene rearrangements.CONCLUSION:IgH gene rearrangements may be associated with PGL staging and may be useful for the diagnosis of PGL and for differentiating between PGL and gastric linitis plastica.

文摘Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS)-related lymphoma (ARL) remains the main cause of AIDS-related deaths in the highly active anti-retroviral therapy (HAART) era. Recently, rearrangement of MYC is associated with poor prognosis in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Here, we report a rare case of gastrointestinal (GI)-ARL with MYC rearrangements and coinfected with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection presenting with various endoscopic findings. A 38-yearold homosexual man who presented with anemia and was diagnosed with an human immunodeficiency virus infection for the first time. GI endoscopy revealed multiple dish-like lesions, ulcerations, bloody spots, nodular masses with active bleeding in the stomach, erythematous flat lesions in the duodenum, and multiple nodular masses in the colon and rectum. Magnified endoscopy with narrow band imaging showed a honeycomb-like pattern without irregular microvessels in the dish-like lesions of the stomach. Biopsy specimens from the stomach, duodenum, colon, and rectum revealed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma concomitant with EBV infection that was detected by high tissue EBV-polymerase chain reaction levels and Epstein-Barr virus small RNAs in situ hybridization. Fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis revealed a fusion between the immunoglobulin heavy chain (IgH) and c-MYC genes, but not between the IgH and BCL2 loci. After 1-mo of treatment with HAART and R-CHOP, endoscopic appearance improved remarkably, and the histological features of the biopsy specimens revealed no evidence of lymphoma. However, he died from multiple organ failure on the 139 th day after diagnosis. The cause of his poor outcome may be related to MYC rearrangement. The GI tract involvement in ARL is rarely reported, and its endoscopic findings are various and may be different from those in non-AIDS GI lymphoma; thus, we also conducted a literature review of GI-ARL cases.

文摘Biothiols,including cysteine(Cys),homocysteine(Hey),and glutathione(GSH) play important roles in physiological processes,and the detection of thiol using fluorescent probes has attracted attention due to their high sensitivity and selectively and invasive on-time imaging.However,the similar structures and reactivity of these biothiols present great challenges for selective detection.This review focused on the the "aromatic nucleophilic substitution-rearrangement(SNAr-rearrangement) mechanism",which provided a powerful tool to design fluorescent probes for the discrimination between biothiols.We classify the fluorescent probes according to types of fluorophores,such as difluoroboron dipyrromethene(BODIPY),nitrobenzoxadiazole(NBD),cyanine,pyronin,naphthalimide,coumarin,and so on.We hope this review will inspire exploration of new fluorescent probes for biothiols and other relevant analytes.
文摘Transferring foreign DNA into plant cells by biolistic and Agrobacterium _mediated methods may result in random integration of different copy numbers of the transgene, and different proportions of intact vs. rearranged copies of the transgene. This may, in turn, affect transgene expression levels. To test the above hypothesis, we first introduced the same plasmid, pAc1PG_CAM, into rice (Oryza sativa L.) calli separately by the biolistic method and by the Agrobacterium _mediated method. To show whether different plasmids may affect the results, we also introduced pTOK233 by the Agrobacterium _mediated method and pJPM44 by the biolistic method. Transgene expression of R0 plants was monitored by histochemical analysis of GUS activity. Transgene copy number was determined by Southern blot analysis after digesting genomic DNA with an enzyme that has a unique cutting site within the input plasmid. The total genomic DNA was also digested by a two_cut enzyme (the cuts are located at two sides of a given transgene expression cassette), followed by Southern blotting analysis, for determining the number of intact transgene expression cassettes. Our data showed that Agrobacterium _mediated transformation resulted in lower transgene copy number (average between 2.1 and 2.3) in transgenic rice plants, compared with those plants obtained by the biolistic method (average between 4.2 and 5.6). The frequency of DNA rearrangement in expression cassettes is lower in transgenic rice plants obtained by the Agrobacterium _ mediated method than those obtained by the biolistic method. The average rearrangement frequency is 0.07 to 0.106 for the Agrobacterium _mediated method, and 0.57 to 0.66 for the biolistic method. Our results suggest that it is better to compare the number of intact expression cassettes instead of the total copy number of the transgene in demonstrating their influence on the level of transgene expression. This is the first report on the frequency of expression cassette rearrangement in transgenic plants transformed with the same plasmid by two different transformation methods.

文摘Beckmann rearrangement mechanism of cyclohexanone oxime, based on the characteristic of self-catalyzed reaction and polymorphism was proposed. According to the suggested mechanism, the basic approach was the rearrangement of OXH+ while the SO3 acts as dehydrating agent and OXSO3 can turn to CPLSO3 ultimately. Considering self-catalyzed reaction between OXSO3 and CPLH+, kinetic model for Beckmann rearrangement was established. Corresponding parameters were estimated by using float genetic algorithm (GA) and simulation results agree well with the experimental data below -19.3℃. Industrial equipment was simulated and analyzed. Effects of key process parameters such as molar ratio of sulfuric acid to oxime and circulation ratio on the residual oxime are also discussed. The results show that the caprolactam exists as CPLH+ finally in oleum and the minimum molecular ratio of sulfuric acid to oxime can be 0.5 theoretically.

文摘The rational modulation of electronic structure is highly desirable to develop an efficient alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalyst for renewable energy applications.Metal hydroxide such as Ni(OH)_(2) has been proven useful for promoting alkaline HER,but the performance remains unsatisfactory.Herein,the electronic structure of Ni(OH)_(2) is modulated by the interfacial electron rearrangement between Ni-Ni(OH)_(2) heterojunction.Combined experiments with DFT simulations,the electrons of Ni species accumulate to the interfacial Ni-Ni(OH)_(2) sites,which modifies the d band center for promoting conversion of hydrogen intermediates and narrows the energy gap for boosting charge transfer in the HER process.Thus,the integrated electrode exhibits an efficient HER performance to drive10 mA cm^(-2) at the overpotential of 72 mV with a low Tafel slope of 43 mV dec^(-1).Our work renders a valuable insight for understanding and rationally designing efficient catalysts in alkaline HER.
文摘A 59-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital because of recurrent follicular lymphoma(FL).Colonoscopic examination revealed a rectal submucosal tumor(SMT)without any erosions and ulcers.In this patient,it was difficult to distinguish non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL)invasion from other disorders of the colon including carcinoid tumor merely based on endoscopic findings.Histopathologic and immunohistochemical studies on biopsy specimens showed an infiltration of atypical lymphocytes that were positive for CD20 and BCL2 but negative for UCHL-1.Fluorescence in situ hybridization on paraffin-embedded tissue sections (T-FISH)identified a translocation of BCL2 with IGHgene. Based on these findings,the tumor was defined as an invasion of FL.T-FISH method is useful for the detection of a monoclonality of atypical lymphocytes in an SMT of the gastrointestinal tract,and particularly for the detection of chromosomal translocations specific to lymphoma subtypes.

文摘Wheat-rye addition and substitution lines and their self progenies revealed variations in telomeric heterochromatin and centromeres, Furthermore, a mitotically unstable dicentric chromosome and stable multicentric chromosomes were observed in the progeny of a Chinese Spring-lmperial rye 3R addition line. An unstable multicentric chromosome was found in the progeny of a 6R/6D substitution line. Drastic variation of terminal heterochromatin including movement and disappearance of terminal heterochromatin occurred in the progeny of wheat- rye addition line 3R, and the 5RS ditelosomic addition line. Highly stable minichromosomes were observed in the progeny ofa monosomic 4R addition line, a ditelosomic 5RS addition line and a 6R/6D substitution line. Minichromosomes, with and without the FISH signals for telomeric DNA (TTTAGGG)n, derived from a monosomic 4R addition line are stable and transmissible to the next generation. The results indicated that centromeres and terminal heterochromatin can be profoundly altered in wheat-rye hybrid derivatives.
