AIM:To explore the causal relationship between several possible behavioral factors and high myopia(HM)using multivariable Mendelian randomization(MVMR)approach and to find the mediators among them with mediation analy...AIM:To explore the causal relationship between several possible behavioral factors and high myopia(HM)using multivariable Mendelian randomization(MVMR)approach and to find the mediators among them with mediation analysis.METHODS:The causal effects of several behavioral factors,including screen time,education time,time spent outdoors,and physical activity,on the risk of HM using univariable Mendelian randomization(MR)and MVMR analyses were first assessed.Genome-wide association study summary statistics of serum metabolites were also used in mediation analysis to determine the extent to which serum metabolites mediate the effects of behavioral factors on HM.RESULTS:MR analyses indicated that both increased time spent outdoors and a higher frequency of moderate physical activity significantly reduced the risk of HM.Further MVMR analysis confirmed that moderate physical activity independently contributed to a lower risk of HM.Additionally,MR analyses identified 13 serum metabolites significantly associated with HM,of which 12 were lipids and one was an amino acid derivative.Mediation analysis revealed that six lipid metabolites mediated the protective effects of moderate physical activity on HM,with the highest mediation proportion observed for 1-(1-enyl-palmitoyl)-GPC(p-16:0;30.83%).CONCLUSION:This study suggests that in addition to outdoor time,moderate physical activity habits may have an independent protective effect against HM and pointed to lipid metabolites as priority targets for the prevention due to low physical activity.These results emphasize the importance of physical activity and metabolic health in HM and underscore the need for further study of these complex associations.展开更多
Stroke remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide,and electroacupuncture has a long history of use in stroke treatment.This meta-analysis and systematic review aimed to evaluate the efficacy of electroa...Stroke remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide,and electroacupuncture has a long history of use in stroke treatment.This meta-analysis and systematic review aimed to evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture and explore its potential mechanisms in animal models of ischemic stroke.The PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,CENTRAL,and CINAHL databases were comprehensively searched up to May 1,2024.This review included articles on preclinical investigations of the efficacy and mechanisms of electroacupuncture in treating ischemic stroke.Data from 70 eligible studies were analyzed in Stata 18.0,using a random-effects model to calculate the standardized mean difference(Hedge’s g).The risk of bias was assessed using RevMan 5.4 software,and the quality of evidence was rated according to the Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation(GRADE)system.Subgroup analyses were conducted to test the consistency of the results and sensitivity analyses were used to assess their robustness.The quality assessment revealed that most studies adequately handled incomplete data and selective reporting.However,several methodological limitations were identified:only 4 studies demonstrated a low risk of allocation concealment,26 achieved a low risk of outcome assessment bias,and 9 had a high risk of randomization bias.Additionally,there was an unclear risk regarding participant blinding and other methodological aspects.The GRADE assessment rated 12 outcomes as moderate quality and 6 as low quality.The mechanisms of electroacupuncture treatment for ischemic stroke can be categorized as five primary pathways:(1)Electroacupuncture significantly reduced infarct volume and apoptotic cell death(P<0.01)in ischemic stroke models;(2)electroacupuncture significantly decreased the levels of pro-inflammatory factors(P<0.01)while increasing the levels of anti-inflammatory factors(P=0.02);(3)electroacupuncture reduced the levels of oxidative stress indicators(P<0.01)and enhanced the expression of antioxidant enzymes(P<0.01);(4)electroacupuncture significantly promoted nerve regeneration(P<0.01);and(5)electroacupuncture influenced blood flow remodeling(P<0.01)and angiogenesis(P<0.01).Subgroup analyses indicated that electroacupuncture was most effective in the transient middle cerebral artery occlusion model(P<0.01)and in post-middle cerebral artery occlusion intervention(P<0.01).Dispersive waves were found to outperform continuous waves with respect to neuroprotection and anti-inflammatory effects(P<0.01),while scalp acupoints demonstrated greater efficacy than body acupoints(P<0.01).The heterogeneity among the included studies was minimal,and sensitivity analyses indicated stable results.Their methodological quality was generally satisfactory.In conclusion,electroacupuncture is effective in treating cerebral ischemia by modulating cell apoptosis,oxidative stress,inflammation,stroke-induced nerve regeneration,blood flow remodeling,and angiogenesis.The efficacy of electroacupuncture may be influenced by factors such as the middle cerebral artery occlusion model,the timing of intervention onset,waveform,and acupoint selection.Despite the moderate to low quality of evidence,these findings suggest that electroacupuncture has clinical potential for improving outcomes in ischemic stroke.展开更多
AIM:To comprehensively assess the relationship between asthma and myopia based on the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES)database combined with Mendelian randomization(MR).METHODS:Initially,20497 ...AIM:To comprehensively assess the relationship between asthma and myopia based on the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES)database combined with Mendelian randomization(MR).METHODS:Initially,20497 subjects from the complete questionnaire cycle in the NHANES database from 2005 to 2008 were included.By exclusion criteria,8460 subjects were screened with 1676 myopia samples and 6784 control samples.Subsequently,baseline characteristics,association analyses,risk stratification analyses,and receive operating characteristic curve(ROC)were used to investigate the associations between covariates and myopia.Then,the causal relationship was explored in depth by MR analysis,and was estimated the reliability by sensitivity analyses and directionality tests.RESULTS:Baseline characteristics illustrated a significant difference between myopia and controls for both asthma and covariates(excluding gender;P<0.05).The results in all three models indicated that asthma was strongly associated with myopia and the effect on myopia was not significantly confounded by other covariates[model 3:odd ratio(OR)=1.31;95%CI=1.07-1.62;P=0.0133].The risk stratification analysis again verified that asthma remained strongly associated with myopia and was a risk factor for myopia(P<0.05,OR>1).ROC proved that the model was accurate in its prediction[area under curve(AUC)=0.7].Subsequently,the causal relationship between them was statistically significant(P<0.05)according to the inverse variance weighted(IVW)method in MR.Scatterplot showed that asthma and myopia had significant positive causality and were not affected by confounders.Forest plot displayed an increasing risk of myopia on asthma(OR>1).The funnel plot demonstrated compliance with Mendel’s second law.Sensitivity analysis and directional analysis further confirmed the confidence of the MR analysis results and a unidirectional causal relationship between them.CONCLUSION:A significant association and causality between asthma and myopia is found through the NHANES database and MR analysis,which is important implications for public health policy development and clinical practice.展开更多
BACKGROUND Perimenopausal women are prone to anxiety and depression due to fluctuating hormone levels,which significantly impair their quality of life.The current treatments have certain limitations.In traditional Chi...BACKGROUND Perimenopausal women are prone to anxiety and depression due to fluctuating hormone levels,which significantly impair their quality of life.The current treatments have certain limitations.In traditional Chinese medicine,liver-soothing formulas are commonly prescribed for mood-related disorders,but their overall efficacy in perimenopausal anxiety and depression remains uncertain and requires verification through meta-analysis.AIM To provide evidence-based support for clinical decision-making and research,a meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of liver-soothing formulas in treating perimenopausal anxiety and depression.METHODS Relevant studies published up to April 2025 were retrieved from ClinicalTrials.gov,PubMed,Web of Science,EMBASE,and the Cochrane Library.Eligible studies were screened according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.Data were extracted and analyzed using the Stata 12.0 software.RESULTS After searching and screening,12 articles involving 1798 patients(922 in the treatment group and 876 in the control group)were included in the analysis.Meta-analysis showed that the standardized scores for anxiety[standardized mean difference(SMD)=-0.71,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-1.06 to-0.36]and depression(SMD=-0.67,95%CI:-1.06 to-0.27)of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group.Subgroup analysis results revealed that for anxiety,liver-soothing formulas used alone(SMD=-0.34,95%CI:-0.50 to-0.18)or in combination(SMD=-0.88,95%CI:-1.43 to-0.34)both significantly reduced scores compared with the control group.For depression,monotherapy of liversoothing formulas showed no significant statistical difference between the treatment and control groups(SMD=-0.47,95%CI:-1.11 to 0.17),whereas combination therapy produced significantly lower standardized scale scores in the treatment group than in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(SMD=-0.83,95%CI:-1.39 to-0.28).Regarding Greene scores,no statistically significant difference was observed with monotherapy(SMD=0.87,95%CI:-0.32 to 2.06),whereas combination therapy had significantly lower Greene scores(SMD=-0.24,95%CI:-0.44 to-0.04).No statistically significant difference was found between the groups in the occurrence of adverse reactions(odds ratio=0.90,95%CI:0.57-1.43).However,liver-soothing formulas did not affect estrogen levels in perimenopausal women.CONCLUSION Compared with placebo,conventional Western medicine,or other interventions,the monotherapy of liver-soothing formulas demonstrates superior efficacy in treating perimenopausal anxiety.When used as an adjuvant,they exert a synergistic effect in alleviating negative emotions and improving overall perimenopausal symptoms.展开更多

Accurately estimating the State of Health(SOH)and Remaining Useful Life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is crucial for the continuous and stable operation of battery management systems.However,due to the complex int...Accurately estimating the State of Health(SOH)and Remaining Useful Life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is crucial for the continuous and stable operation of battery management systems.However,due to the complex internal chemical systems of LIBs and the nonlinear degradation of their performance,direct measurement of SOH and RUL is challenging.To address these issues,the Twin Support Vector Machine(TWSVM)method is proposed to predict SOH and RUL.Initially,the constant current charging time of the lithium battery is extracted as a health indicator(HI),decomposed using Variational Modal Decomposition(VMD),and feature correlations are computed using Importance of Random Forest Features(RF)to maximize the extraction of critical factors influencing battery performance degradation.Furthermore,to enhance the global search capability of the Convolution Optimization Algorithm(COA),improvements are made using Good Point Set theory and the Differential Evolution method.The Improved Convolution Optimization Algorithm(ICOA)is employed to optimize TWSVM parameters for constructing SOH and RUL prediction models.Finally,the proposed models are validated using NASA and CALCE lithium-ion battery datasets.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed models achieve an RMSE not exceeding 0.007 and an MAPE not exceeding 0.0082 for SOH and RUL prediction,with a relative error in RUL prediction within the range of[-1.8%,2%].Compared to other models,the proposed model not only exhibits superior fitting capability but also demonstrates robust performance.展开更多
Objectives:To explore the efficacy and safety of virtual reality(VR)in relieving negative emotions in patients with breast cancer with different personalities.Methods:A randomized controlled trial was conducted.Betwee...Objectives:To explore the efficacy and safety of virtual reality(VR)in relieving negative emotions in patients with breast cancer with different personalities.Methods:A randomized controlled trial was conducted.Between April 2023 and October 2023,we enrolled patients with breast cancer treated in the Department of Breast Cancer and Oncology at Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital,Sun Yat-Sen University,Guangdong Province.The patients were randomly divided into an intervention group(n=118)and a control group(n=119)using block randomization.The intervention group received the VR intervention 3-5 times over 5±2 weeks using natural landscapes with music or relaxation guidance,and the duration of each VR intervention was 15±3 min.The control group received routine nursing care,including disease education and psychological counseling.Patients were assessed using the Type D Scale,Positive and Negative Affect Scale,and Distress Thermometer,and adverse events during the intervention were recorded.Results:Overall,85 patients completed the study(44 in the intervention group and 41 in the control group).Patients with Type D personalities showed more negative emotions[25.0(21.5,27.5)vs.19.0(16.0,24.0),P=0.001]and distressed attitudes[4.0(2.0,5.0)vs.3.0(1.0,4.0),P=0.020]with fewer positive emotions(27.2±5.6 vs.31.0±5.9,P=0.014)than those with non-Type D personalities.Total population analysis revealed no significant differences between the groups.However,in the subgroup analysis,patients with Type D personalities in the intervention group showed greater relief from negative emotions than those in the control group[median difference,-5.0(-9.0,-2.5)vs.-2.0(-4.0,2.0),P=0.046].No significant differences were found between groups of patients with non-Type D personality traits.The proportion of adverse events was not significantly different between groups(P=0.110).Conclusions:Breast cancer patients with Type D personalities suffer more severe negative emotions and distress,and more attention should be paid to them.VR intervention significantly and safely reduced negative emotions in patients with Type D personalities.展开更多
Landslide susceptibility prediction(LSP)is significantly affected by the uncertainty issue of landslide related conditioning factor selection.However,most of literature only performs comparative studies on a certain c...Landslide susceptibility prediction(LSP)is significantly affected by the uncertainty issue of landslide related conditioning factor selection.However,most of literature only performs comparative studies on a certain conditioning factor selection method rather than systematically study this uncertainty issue.Targeted,this study aims to systematically explore the influence rules of various commonly used conditioning factor selection methods on LSP,and on this basis to innovatively propose a principle with universal application for optimal selection of conditioning factors.An'yuan County in southern China is taken as example considering 431 landslides and 29 types of conditioning factors.Five commonly used factor selection methods,namely,the correlation analysis(CA),linear regression(LR),principal component analysis(PCA),rough set(RS)and artificial neural network(ANN),are applied to select the optimal factor combinations from the original 29 conditioning factors.The factor selection results are then used as inputs of four types of common machine learning models to construct 20 types of combined models,such as CA-multilayer perceptron,CA-random forest.Additionally,multifactor-based multilayer perceptron random forest models that selecting conditioning factors based on the proposed principle of“accurate data,rich types,clear significance,feasible operation and avoiding duplication”are constructed for comparisons.Finally,the LSP uncertainties are evaluated by the accuracy,susceptibility index distribution,etc.Results show that:(1)multifactor-based models have generally higher LSP performance and lower uncertainties than those of factors selection-based models;(2)Influence degree of different machine learning on LSP accuracy is greater than that of different factor selection methods.Conclusively,the above commonly used conditioning factor selection methods are not ideal for improving LSP performance and may complicate the LSP processes.In contrast,a satisfied combination of conditioning factors can be constructed according to the proposed principle.展开更多

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture(EA)at scalp motor area for treating post-stroke wrist dyskinesia and its influence on the function of wrist movement-related agonistic muscles.METHODS:A randomi...OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture(EA)at scalp motor area for treating post-stroke wrist dyskinesia and its influence on the function of wrist movement-related agonistic muscles.METHODS:A randomized,single-blind,controlled clinical trial was conducted.Sixty-six patients undergoing post-stroke wrist dyskinesia were enrolled and randomized 1:1 to EA or control group.Patients in the control group received manual acupuncture in the scalp motor area(MS 6)on the lesion side.The same acupoint was selected to accept EA stimulation in the EA group.All patients were treated six times a week for three weeks.The primary outcome was the Chinese Stroke Scale(CSS)score.The secondary outcomes included upper limb-related Barthel Index(BI)score,active range of motion(AROM)of the wrist joint,and root mean square(RMS)of the four agonistic muscles associated with wrist motion on the hemiplegic side of patients,i.e.,the extensor carpi radialis longus(ECRL),extensor digitorum(ED),flexor carpi radialis(FCR)and flexor carpi ulnaris(FCU).The above indicators were measured before and after three weeks of treatment.RESULTS:After 3-week treatment,the CSS score and AROM of wrist dorsiflexion of the EA group were better than those in the control group(P=0.038,P=0.047).The differences between the two groups of BI scores and AROM of wrist flexion were not significant(P>0.05).All RMS of the EA group were higher than those in the control group(ECRL:P=0.047,ED:P=0.048,FCR:P=0.049,FCU:P=0.047).The total effective rate in the EA group was 87.50%(28/32),which was higher than that in the control group(77.42%,24/31,P=0.048).CONCLUSION:EA stimulation of the scalp motor area can promote the recovery of the strength and function of the agonistic muscles related to wrist movement and effectively improve post-stroke wrist dyskinesia.展开更多

Machine-learning is a robust technique for understanding pollution characteristics of surface ozone,which are at high levels in urban China.This study introduced an innovative approach combining trend decomposition wi...Machine-learning is a robust technique for understanding pollution characteristics of surface ozone,which are at high levels in urban China.This study introduced an innovative approach combining trend decomposition with Random Forest algorithm to investigate ozone dynamics and formation regimes in a coastal area of China.During the period of 2017–2022,significant inter-annual fluctuations emerged,with peaks in mid-2017 attributed to volatile organic compounds(VOCs),and in late-2019 influenced by air temperature.Multifaceted periodicities(daily,weekly,holiday,and yearly)in ozone were revealed,elucidating substantial influences of daily and yearly components on ozone periodicity.A VOC-sensitive ozone formation regime was identified,characterized by lower VOCs/NO_(x) ratios(average=0.88)and significant positive correlations between ozone and VOCs.This interplay manifested in elevated ozone duringweekends,holidays,and pandemic lockdowns.Key variables influencing ozone across diverse timescaleswere uncovered,with solar radiation and temperature driving daily and yearly ozone variations,respectively.Precursor substances,particularly VOCs,significantly shaped weekly/holiday patterns and long-term trends of ozone.Specifically,acetone,ethane,hexanal,and toluene had a notable impact on the multi-year ozone trend,emphasizing the urgency of VOC regulation.Furthermore,our observations indicated that NO_(x) primarily drived the stochastic variations in ozone,a distinguishing characteristic of regions with heavy traffic.This research provides novel insights into ozone dynamics in coastal urban areas and highlights the importance of integrating statistical and machinelearning methods in atmospheric pollution studies,with implications for targeted mitigation strategies beyond this specific region and pollutant.展开更多
Objective Observational studies have shown inconsistent associations of loneliness or social isolation(SI)with ischemic heart disease(IHD),with unknown mediators.Methods Using data from genome-wide association studies...Objective Observational studies have shown inconsistent associations of loneliness or social isolation(SI)with ischemic heart disease(IHD),with unknown mediators.Methods Using data from genome-wide association studies of predominantly European ancestry,we performed a bidirectional two-sample Mendelian Randomization(MR)study to estimate causal effects of loneliness(N=487,647)and SI traits on IHD(N=184,305).SI traits included whether individuals lived alone,participated in various types of social activities,and how often they had contact with friends or family(N=459,830 to 461,369).A network MR study was conducted to evaluate the mediating roles of 20 candidate mediators,including metabolic,behavioral and psychological factors.Results Loneliness increased IHD risk(OR=2.129;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.380 to 3.285),mediated by body fat percentage,waist-hip ratio,total cholesterol,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.For SI traits,only fewer social activities increased IHD risk(OR=1.815;95%CI:1.189 to 2.772),mediated by hypertension,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,triglycerides,fasting insulin,and smoking cessation.No reverse causality of IHD with loneliness and SI was found.Conclusion These findings suggested more attention should be paid to individuals who feel lonely and have fewer social activities to prevent IHD,with several mediators as prioritized targets for intervention.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:To explore the efficacy and safety of acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone-setting therapy for the treatment of Tourette syndrome.METHODS:We randomly divided 600 patients at a ratio of 1∶1∶1 i...OBJECTIVE:To explore the efficacy and safety of acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone-setting therapy for the treatment of Tourette syndrome.METHODS:We randomly divided 600 patients at a ratio of 1∶1∶1 into three groups:group A(acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone setting therapy group),group B(acupuncture group),and group C(tiapride group).After two months of treatment,the Yale global tic severity scale(YGTSS)score reduction,improvement in social function impairment,clinical efficacy,and long-term efficacy in the three groups were compared.RESULTS:After treatment,in the analysis of YGTSS score reduction,social function impairment improvement,the clinical control rate,and long-term efficacy,the results were all Group A>Group B>Group C,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).However,the total clinical efficacy of treatment in group A(94.9%)was not significantly different from that in group B(91.8%).Adverse reactions did not occur in groups A and B,and several adverse reactions occurred in 29%(n=58)of the group C patients.CONCLUSION:Compared with traditional drug therapy,acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone setting therapy has better clinical and long-term efficacy.This treatment strategy can improve the social function of children and prevent adverse reactions to drugs.展开更多
Objective:Based on multistage metabolomic profiling and Mendelian randomization analyses,the current study identified plasma metabolites that predicted the risk of developing gastric cancer(GC)and determined whether k...Objective:Based on multistage metabolomic profiling and Mendelian randomization analyses,the current study identified plasma metabolites that predicted the risk of developing gastric cancer(GC)and determined whether key metabolite levels modified the GC primary prevention effects.Methods:Plasma metabolites associated with GC risk were identified through a case-control study.Bi-directional two-sample Mendelian randomization analyses were performed to determine potential causal relationships utilizing the Shandong Intervention Trial(SIT),a nested case-control study of the Mass Intervention Trial in Linqu,Shandong province(MITS),China,the UK Biobank,and the Finn Gen project.Results:A higher genetic risk score for plasma L-aspartic acid was significantly associated with an increased GC risk in the northern Chinese population(SIT:HR=1.26 per 1 SD change,95%CI:1.07±1.49;MITS:HR=1.07,95%CI:1.00±1.14)and an increased gastric adenocarcinoma risk in Finn Gen(OR=1.68,95%CI:1.16±2.45).Genetically predicted plasma L-aspartic acid levels also modified the GC primary prevention effects with the beneficial effect of Helicobacter pylori eradication notably observed among individuals within the top quartile of L-aspartic acid level(P-interaction=0.098)and the beneficial effect of garlic supplementation only for those within the lowest quartile of L-aspartic acid level(P-interaction=0.02).Conclusions:Elevated plasma L-aspartic acid levels significantly increased the risk of developing GC and modified the effects of GC primary prevention.Further studies from other populations are warranted to validate the modification effect of plasma L-aspartic acid levels on GC prevention and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms.展开更多
The application of machine learning for pyrite discrimination establishes a robust foundation for constructing the ore-forming history of multi-stage deposits;however,published models face challenges related to limite...The application of machine learning for pyrite discrimination establishes a robust foundation for constructing the ore-forming history of multi-stage deposits;however,published models face challenges related to limited,imbalanced datasets and oversampling.In this study,the dataset was expanded to approximately 500 samples for each type,including 508 sedimentary,573 orogenic gold,548 sedimentary exhalative(SEDEX)deposits,and 364 volcanogenic massive sulfides(VMS)pyrites,utilizing random forest(RF)and support vector machine(SVM)methodologies to enhance the reliability of the classifier models.The RF classifier achieved an overall accuracy of 99.8%,and the SVM classifier attained an overall accuracy of 100%.The model was evaluated by a five-fold cross-validation approach with 93.8%accuracy for the RF and 94.9%for the SVM classifier.These results demonstrate the strong feasibility of pyrite classification,supported by a relatively large,balanced dataset and high accuracy rates.The classifier was employed to reveal the genesis of the controversial Keketale Pb-Zn deposit in NW China,which has been inconclusive among SEDEX,VMS,or a SEDEX-VMS transition.Petrographic investigations indicated that the deposit comprises early fine-grained layered pyrite(Py1)and late recrystallized pyrite(Py2).The majority voting classified Py1 as the VMS type,with an accuracy of RF and SVM being 72.2%and 75%,respectively,and confirmed Py2 as an orogenic type with 74.3% and 77.1%accuracy,respectively.The new findings indicated that the Keketale deposit originated from a submarine VMS mineralization system,followed by late orogenic-type overprinting of metamorphism and deformation,which is consistent with the geological and geochemical observations.This study further emphasizes the advantages of Machine learning(ML)methods in accurately and directly discriminating the deposit types and reconstructing the formation history of multi-stage deposits.展开更多
Non-contact debris removal methods are fuel-efficient in a single operation compared to contact-based strategies as spacecraft don’t need to match debris velocity.To comprehensively analyze this scheme,maneuvering sc...Non-contact debris removal methods are fuel-efficient in a single operation compared to contact-based strategies as spacecraft don’t need to match debris velocity.To comprehensively analyze this scheme,maneuvering schemes for maximum debris removal with minimum fuel consumption,including task assignment,sequence planning,and trajectory planning,must be formulated.The coupling between variables’dimensions and optimization results in task assignment poses challenges,as debris removal is repetitive and uncertain,leading to a vast search space.This paper proposes a novel Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure with Large Neighborhood and Crossover Mechanisms(GRASP-LNCM)to address this problem.The hybrid dynamic iteration mechanism improves computational efficiency and enhances the optimality of results.The model innovatively considers unsuccessful single removal by using a quantitative method to assess removal percentage.In addition,to improve the efficiency of sequence and trajectory planning,a Suboptimal Search Algorithm(SSA)based on the Lambert property and accelerated Multi-Revolution Lambert Problem(MRLP)solving strategy is established.Finally,a real Iridium-33 debris removal mission is studied.The simulation demonstrates that the proposed algorithm achieves state-of-the-art performance in several typical scenarios.Compared to the contact-based scheme,the new one is simpler,saving more fuel under certain conditions.展开更多

文摘AIM:To explore the causal relationship between several possible behavioral factors and high myopia(HM)using multivariable Mendelian randomization(MVMR)approach and to find the mediators among them with mediation analysis.METHODS:The causal effects of several behavioral factors,including screen time,education time,time spent outdoors,and physical activity,on the risk of HM using univariable Mendelian randomization(MR)and MVMR analyses were first assessed.Genome-wide association study summary statistics of serum metabolites were also used in mediation analysis to determine the extent to which serum metabolites mediate the effects of behavioral factors on HM.RESULTS:MR analyses indicated that both increased time spent outdoors and a higher frequency of moderate physical activity significantly reduced the risk of HM.Further MVMR analysis confirmed that moderate physical activity independently contributed to a lower risk of HM.Additionally,MR analyses identified 13 serum metabolites significantly associated with HM,of which 12 were lipids and one was an amino acid derivative.Mediation analysis revealed that six lipid metabolites mediated the protective effects of moderate physical activity on HM,with the highest mediation proportion observed for 1-(1-enyl-palmitoyl)-GPC(p-16:0;30.83%).CONCLUSION:This study suggests that in addition to outdoor time,moderate physical activity habits may have an independent protective effect against HM and pointed to lipid metabolites as priority targets for the prevention due to low physical activity.These results emphasize the importance of physical activity and metabolic health in HM and underscore the need for further study of these complex associations.

文摘Stroke remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide,and electroacupuncture has a long history of use in stroke treatment.This meta-analysis and systematic review aimed to evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture and explore its potential mechanisms in animal models of ischemic stroke.The PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,CENTRAL,and CINAHL databases were comprehensively searched up to May 1,2024.This review included articles on preclinical investigations of the efficacy and mechanisms of electroacupuncture in treating ischemic stroke.Data from 70 eligible studies were analyzed in Stata 18.0,using a random-effects model to calculate the standardized mean difference(Hedge’s g).The risk of bias was assessed using RevMan 5.4 software,and the quality of evidence was rated according to the Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation(GRADE)system.Subgroup analyses were conducted to test the consistency of the results and sensitivity analyses were used to assess their robustness.The quality assessment revealed that most studies adequately handled incomplete data and selective reporting.However,several methodological limitations were identified:only 4 studies demonstrated a low risk of allocation concealment,26 achieved a low risk of outcome assessment bias,and 9 had a high risk of randomization bias.Additionally,there was an unclear risk regarding participant blinding and other methodological aspects.The GRADE assessment rated 12 outcomes as moderate quality and 6 as low quality.The mechanisms of electroacupuncture treatment for ischemic stroke can be categorized as five primary pathways:(1)Electroacupuncture significantly reduced infarct volume and apoptotic cell death(P<0.01)in ischemic stroke models;(2)electroacupuncture significantly decreased the levels of pro-inflammatory factors(P<0.01)while increasing the levels of anti-inflammatory factors(P=0.02);(3)electroacupuncture reduced the levels of oxidative stress indicators(P<0.01)and enhanced the expression of antioxidant enzymes(P<0.01);(4)electroacupuncture significantly promoted nerve regeneration(P<0.01);and(5)electroacupuncture influenced blood flow remodeling(P<0.01)and angiogenesis(P<0.01).Subgroup analyses indicated that electroacupuncture was most effective in the transient middle cerebral artery occlusion model(P<0.01)and in post-middle cerebral artery occlusion intervention(P<0.01).Dispersive waves were found to outperform continuous waves with respect to neuroprotection and anti-inflammatory effects(P<0.01),while scalp acupoints demonstrated greater efficacy than body acupoints(P<0.01).The heterogeneity among the included studies was minimal,and sensitivity analyses indicated stable results.Their methodological quality was generally satisfactory.In conclusion,electroacupuncture is effective in treating cerebral ischemia by modulating cell apoptosis,oxidative stress,inflammation,stroke-induced nerve regeneration,blood flow remodeling,and angiogenesis.The efficacy of electroacupuncture may be influenced by factors such as the middle cerebral artery occlusion model,the timing of intervention onset,waveform,and acupoint selection.Despite the moderate to low quality of evidence,these findings suggest that electroacupuncture has clinical potential for improving outcomes in ischemic stroke.

文摘AIM:To comprehensively assess the relationship between asthma and myopia based on the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES)database combined with Mendelian randomization(MR).METHODS:Initially,20497 subjects from the complete questionnaire cycle in the NHANES database from 2005 to 2008 were included.By exclusion criteria,8460 subjects were screened with 1676 myopia samples and 6784 control samples.Subsequently,baseline characteristics,association analyses,risk stratification analyses,and receive operating characteristic curve(ROC)were used to investigate the associations between covariates and myopia.Then,the causal relationship was explored in depth by MR analysis,and was estimated the reliability by sensitivity analyses and directionality tests.RESULTS:Baseline characteristics illustrated a significant difference between myopia and controls for both asthma and covariates(excluding gender;P<0.05).The results in all three models indicated that asthma was strongly associated with myopia and the effect on myopia was not significantly confounded by other covariates[model 3:odd ratio(OR)=1.31;95%CI=1.07-1.62;P=0.0133].The risk stratification analysis again verified that asthma remained strongly associated with myopia and was a risk factor for myopia(P<0.05,OR>1).ROC proved that the model was accurate in its prediction[area under curve(AUC)=0.7].Subsequently,the causal relationship between them was statistically significant(P<0.05)according to the inverse variance weighted(IVW)method in MR.Scatterplot showed that asthma and myopia had significant positive causality and were not affected by confounders.Forest plot displayed an increasing risk of myopia on asthma(OR>1).The funnel plot demonstrated compliance with Mendel’s second law.Sensitivity analysis and directional analysis further confirmed the confidence of the MR analysis results and a unidirectional causal relationship between them.CONCLUSION:A significant association and causality between asthma and myopia is found through the NHANES database and MR analysis,which is important implications for public health policy development and clinical practice.
文摘BACKGROUND Perimenopausal women are prone to anxiety and depression due to fluctuating hormone levels,which significantly impair their quality of life.The current treatments have certain limitations.In traditional Chinese medicine,liver-soothing formulas are commonly prescribed for mood-related disorders,but their overall efficacy in perimenopausal anxiety and depression remains uncertain and requires verification through meta-analysis.AIM To provide evidence-based support for clinical decision-making and research,a meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of liver-soothing formulas in treating perimenopausal anxiety and depression.METHODS Relevant studies published up to April 2025 were retrieved from ClinicalTrials.gov,PubMed,Web of Science,EMBASE,and the Cochrane Library.Eligible studies were screened according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.Data were extracted and analyzed using the Stata 12.0 software.RESULTS After searching and screening,12 articles involving 1798 patients(922 in the treatment group and 876 in the control group)were included in the analysis.Meta-analysis showed that the standardized scores for anxiety[standardized mean difference(SMD)=-0.71,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-1.06 to-0.36]and depression(SMD=-0.67,95%CI:-1.06 to-0.27)of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group.Subgroup analysis results revealed that for anxiety,liver-soothing formulas used alone(SMD=-0.34,95%CI:-0.50 to-0.18)or in combination(SMD=-0.88,95%CI:-1.43 to-0.34)both significantly reduced scores compared with the control group.For depression,monotherapy of liversoothing formulas showed no significant statistical difference between the treatment and control groups(SMD=-0.47,95%CI:-1.11 to 0.17),whereas combination therapy produced significantly lower standardized scale scores in the treatment group than in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(SMD=-0.83,95%CI:-1.39 to-0.28).Regarding Greene scores,no statistically significant difference was observed with monotherapy(SMD=0.87,95%CI:-0.32 to 2.06),whereas combination therapy had significantly lower Greene scores(SMD=-0.24,95%CI:-0.44 to-0.04).No statistically significant difference was found between the groups in the occurrence of adverse reactions(odds ratio=0.90,95%CI:0.57-1.43).However,liver-soothing formulas did not affect estrogen levels in perimenopausal women.CONCLUSION Compared with placebo,conventional Western medicine,or other interventions,the monotherapy of liver-soothing formulas demonstrates superior efficacy in treating perimenopausal anxiety.When used as an adjuvant,they exert a synergistic effect in alleviating negative emotions and improving overall perimenopausal symptoms.

文摘BACKGROUND The therapeutic role of neurodynamic mobilization in improving lower limb function in patients with mild post-traumatic knee osteoarthritis remains poorly understood.AIM To further elucidate the role of neurodynamic mobilization in facilitating knee joint functional recovery.METHODS Thirty-two patients with post-traumatic knee osteoarthritis treated at Chonghua Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Guilin)from March 2024 to August 2025 were randomly assigned to a control group(n=16)or an intervention group(n=16).Both groups received eight weeks of conventional treatment;and the intervention group additionally underwent neurodynamic mobilization.Outcomes including pain assessed by the visual analogue scale,active range of motion,Lysholm score,stork stand test,single hop test,and Y-balance test were assessed before and after the intervention.RESULTS There were no significant differences between the two groups in baseline characteristics,including gender,age,body mass index,or surgical side(P>0.05).Two-way repeated-measures analysis of variance demonstrated significant time×group interaction effects for the visual analogue scale score(F=13.364,P<0.05),Lysholm knee score(F=20.385,P<0.05),stork stand test(F=103.756,P<0.05),and Y-balance test score(F=8.089,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Neurodynamic mobilization effectively reduces pain,improves knee function,and enhances lower limb balance in patients with mild post-traumatic knee osteoarthritis.

文摘Accurately estimating the State of Health(SOH)and Remaining Useful Life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is crucial for the continuous and stable operation of battery management systems.However,due to the complex internal chemical systems of LIBs and the nonlinear degradation of their performance,direct measurement of SOH and RUL is challenging.To address these issues,the Twin Support Vector Machine(TWSVM)method is proposed to predict SOH and RUL.Initially,the constant current charging time of the lithium battery is extracted as a health indicator(HI),decomposed using Variational Modal Decomposition(VMD),and feature correlations are computed using Importance of Random Forest Features(RF)to maximize the extraction of critical factors influencing battery performance degradation.Furthermore,to enhance the global search capability of the Convolution Optimization Algorithm(COA),improvements are made using Good Point Set theory and the Differential Evolution method.The Improved Convolution Optimization Algorithm(ICOA)is employed to optimize TWSVM parameters for constructing SOH and RUL prediction models.Finally,the proposed models are validated using NASA and CALCE lithium-ion battery datasets.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed models achieve an RMSE not exceeding 0.007 and an MAPE not exceeding 0.0082 for SOH and RUL prediction,with a relative error in RUL prediction within the range of[-1.8%,2%].Compared to other models,the proposed model not only exhibits superior fitting capability but also demonstrates robust performance.

文摘Objectives:To explore the efficacy and safety of virtual reality(VR)in relieving negative emotions in patients with breast cancer with different personalities.Methods:A randomized controlled trial was conducted.Between April 2023 and October 2023,we enrolled patients with breast cancer treated in the Department of Breast Cancer and Oncology at Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital,Sun Yat-Sen University,Guangdong Province.The patients were randomly divided into an intervention group(n=118)and a control group(n=119)using block randomization.The intervention group received the VR intervention 3-5 times over 5±2 weeks using natural landscapes with music or relaxation guidance,and the duration of each VR intervention was 15±3 min.The control group received routine nursing care,including disease education and psychological counseling.Patients were assessed using the Type D Scale,Positive and Negative Affect Scale,and Distress Thermometer,and adverse events during the intervention were recorded.Results:Overall,85 patients completed the study(44 in the intervention group and 41 in the control group).Patients with Type D personalities showed more negative emotions[25.0(21.5,27.5)vs.19.0(16.0,24.0),P=0.001]and distressed attitudes[4.0(2.0,5.0)vs.3.0(1.0,4.0),P=0.020]with fewer positive emotions(27.2±5.6 vs.31.0±5.9,P=0.014)than those with non-Type D personalities.Total population analysis revealed no significant differences between the groups.However,in the subgroup analysis,patients with Type D personalities in the intervention group showed greater relief from negative emotions than those in the control group[median difference,-5.0(-9.0,-2.5)vs.-2.0(-4.0,2.0),P=0.046].No significant differences were found between groups of patients with non-Type D personality traits.The proportion of adverse events was not significantly different between groups(P=0.110).Conclusions:Breast cancer patients with Type D personalities suffer more severe negative emotions and distress,and more attention should be paid to them.VR intervention significantly and safely reduced negative emotions in patients with Type D personalities.

文摘Landslide susceptibility prediction(LSP)is significantly affected by the uncertainty issue of landslide related conditioning factor selection.However,most of literature only performs comparative studies on a certain conditioning factor selection method rather than systematically study this uncertainty issue.Targeted,this study aims to systematically explore the influence rules of various commonly used conditioning factor selection methods on LSP,and on this basis to innovatively propose a principle with universal application for optimal selection of conditioning factors.An'yuan County in southern China is taken as example considering 431 landslides and 29 types of conditioning factors.Five commonly used factor selection methods,namely,the correlation analysis(CA),linear regression(LR),principal component analysis(PCA),rough set(RS)and artificial neural network(ANN),are applied to select the optimal factor combinations from the original 29 conditioning factors.The factor selection results are then used as inputs of four types of common machine learning models to construct 20 types of combined models,such as CA-multilayer perceptron,CA-random forest.Additionally,multifactor-based multilayer perceptron random forest models that selecting conditioning factors based on the proposed principle of“accurate data,rich types,clear significance,feasible operation and avoiding duplication”are constructed for comparisons.Finally,the LSP uncertainties are evaluated by the accuracy,susceptibility index distribution,etc.Results show that:(1)multifactor-based models have generally higher LSP performance and lower uncertainties than those of factors selection-based models;(2)Influence degree of different machine learning on LSP accuracy is greater than that of different factor selection methods.Conclusively,the above commonly used conditioning factor selection methods are not ideal for improving LSP performance and may complicate the LSP processes.In contrast,a satisfied combination of conditioning factors can be constructed according to the proposed principle.

文摘The rapid expansion of railways,especially High-Speed Railways(HSRs),has drawn considerable interest from both academic and industrial sectors.To meet the future vision of smart rail communications,the rail transport industry must innovate in key technologies to ensure high-quality transmissions for passengers and railway operations.These systems must function effectively under high mobility conditions while prioritizing safety,ecofriendliness,comfort,transparency,predictability,and reliability.On the other hand,the proposal of 6 G wireless technology introduces new possibilities for innovation in communication technologies,which may truly realize the current vision of HSR.Therefore,this article gives a review of the current advanced 6 G wireless communication technologies for HSR,including random access and switching,channel estimation and beamforming,integrated sensing and communication,and edge computing.The main application scenarios of these technologies are reviewed,as well as their current research status and challenges,followed by an outlook on future development directions.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture(EA)at scalp motor area for treating post-stroke wrist dyskinesia and its influence on the function of wrist movement-related agonistic muscles.METHODS:A randomized,single-blind,controlled clinical trial was conducted.Sixty-six patients undergoing post-stroke wrist dyskinesia were enrolled and randomized 1:1 to EA or control group.Patients in the control group received manual acupuncture in the scalp motor area(MS 6)on the lesion side.The same acupoint was selected to accept EA stimulation in the EA group.All patients were treated six times a week for three weeks.The primary outcome was the Chinese Stroke Scale(CSS)score.The secondary outcomes included upper limb-related Barthel Index(BI)score,active range of motion(AROM)of the wrist joint,and root mean square(RMS)of the four agonistic muscles associated with wrist motion on the hemiplegic side of patients,i.e.,the extensor carpi radialis longus(ECRL),extensor digitorum(ED),flexor carpi radialis(FCR)and flexor carpi ulnaris(FCU).The above indicators were measured before and after three weeks of treatment.RESULTS:After 3-week treatment,the CSS score and AROM of wrist dorsiflexion of the EA group were better than those in the control group(P=0.038,P=0.047).The differences between the two groups of BI scores and AROM of wrist flexion were not significant(P>0.05).All RMS of the EA group were higher than those in the control group(ECRL:P=0.047,ED:P=0.048,FCR:P=0.049,FCU:P=0.047).The total effective rate in the EA group was 87.50%(28/32),which was higher than that in the control group(77.42%,24/31,P=0.048).CONCLUSION:EA stimulation of the scalp motor area can promote the recovery of the strength and function of the agonistic muscles related to wrist movement and effectively improve post-stroke wrist dyskinesia.

文摘Adaptor signature,a new primitive that alleviates the scalability issue of blockchain to some extent,has been widely adopted in the off-chain payment channel and atomic swap.As an extension of standard digital signature,adaptor signature can bind the release of a complete digital signature with the exchange of a secret value.Existing constructions of adaptor signatures are mainly based on Schnorr or ECDSA signature algorithms,which suffer low signing efficiency and long signature length.In this paper,to address these issues,we propose a new construction of adaptor signature using randomized EdDSA,which has Schnorr-like structure with higher signing efficiency and shorter signature length.We prove the required security properties,including unforgeability,witness extractability and pre-signature adaptability,of the new adaptor signature scheme in the random oracle model.We conduct a comparative analysis with an ECDSA-based adaptor signature scheme to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of our new proposal.

文摘Acupuncture is an ancient treatment method used in traditional Chinese medicine and has been popularized worldwide.Over the past decade,there has been an increase in the amount of acupuncture research,mostly comprised of randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that aimed to answer the question on the efficacy of acupuncture.However,poor methodology and low replicability in these acupuncture RCTs have resulted in uncertainty about the efficacy of acupuncture.In this review,current advancements and challenges in acupuncture RCTs,regarding the methodological aspects of randomization,blinding,sham acupuncture and quality of reporting,were discussed.While there have been advancements in various aspects,current acupuncture RCTs still face pressing issues such as inadequate randomization and blinding,unviable sham acupuncture controls,and poor reporting quality.Given these limitations,this review seeks to identify the methodological problems that are responsible for these problems and to suggest solutions that could help to overcome them so as to improve the quality of future studies evaluating the efficacy of acupuncture.

文摘Machine-learning is a robust technique for understanding pollution characteristics of surface ozone,which are at high levels in urban China.This study introduced an innovative approach combining trend decomposition with Random Forest algorithm to investigate ozone dynamics and formation regimes in a coastal area of China.During the period of 2017–2022,significant inter-annual fluctuations emerged,with peaks in mid-2017 attributed to volatile organic compounds(VOCs),and in late-2019 influenced by air temperature.Multifaceted periodicities(daily,weekly,holiday,and yearly)in ozone were revealed,elucidating substantial influences of daily and yearly components on ozone periodicity.A VOC-sensitive ozone formation regime was identified,characterized by lower VOCs/NO_(x) ratios(average=0.88)and significant positive correlations between ozone and VOCs.This interplay manifested in elevated ozone duringweekends,holidays,and pandemic lockdowns.Key variables influencing ozone across diverse timescaleswere uncovered,with solar radiation and temperature driving daily and yearly ozone variations,respectively.Precursor substances,particularly VOCs,significantly shaped weekly/holiday patterns and long-term trends of ozone.Specifically,acetone,ethane,hexanal,and toluene had a notable impact on the multi-year ozone trend,emphasizing the urgency of VOC regulation.Furthermore,our observations indicated that NO_(x) primarily drived the stochastic variations in ozone,a distinguishing characteristic of regions with heavy traffic.This research provides novel insights into ozone dynamics in coastal urban areas and highlights the importance of integrating statistical and machinelearning methods in atmospheric pollution studies,with implications for targeted mitigation strategies beyond this specific region and pollutant.

文摘Objective Observational studies have shown inconsistent associations of loneliness or social isolation(SI)with ischemic heart disease(IHD),with unknown mediators.Methods Using data from genome-wide association studies of predominantly European ancestry,we performed a bidirectional two-sample Mendelian Randomization(MR)study to estimate causal effects of loneliness(N=487,647)and SI traits on IHD(N=184,305).SI traits included whether individuals lived alone,participated in various types of social activities,and how often they had contact with friends or family(N=459,830 to 461,369).A network MR study was conducted to evaluate the mediating roles of 20 candidate mediators,including metabolic,behavioral and psychological factors.Results Loneliness increased IHD risk(OR=2.129;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.380 to 3.285),mediated by body fat percentage,waist-hip ratio,total cholesterol,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.For SI traits,only fewer social activities increased IHD risk(OR=1.815;95%CI:1.189 to 2.772),mediated by hypertension,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,triglycerides,fasting insulin,and smoking cessation.No reverse causality of IHD with loneliness and SI was found.Conclusion These findings suggested more attention should be paid to individuals who feel lonely and have fewer social activities to prevent IHD,with several mediators as prioritized targets for intervention.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the efficacy and safety of acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone-setting therapy for the treatment of Tourette syndrome.METHODS:We randomly divided 600 patients at a ratio of 1∶1∶1 into three groups:group A(acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone setting therapy group),group B(acupuncture group),and group C(tiapride group).After two months of treatment,the Yale global tic severity scale(YGTSS)score reduction,improvement in social function impairment,clinical efficacy,and long-term efficacy in the three groups were compared.RESULTS:After treatment,in the analysis of YGTSS score reduction,social function impairment improvement,the clinical control rate,and long-term efficacy,the results were all Group A>Group B>Group C,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).However,the total clinical efficacy of treatment in group A(94.9%)was not significantly different from that in group B(91.8%).Adverse reactions did not occur in groups A and B,and several adverse reactions occurred in 29%(n=58)of the group C patients.CONCLUSION:Compared with traditional drug therapy,acupuncture combined with atlantoaxial joint bone setting therapy has better clinical and long-term efficacy.This treatment strategy can improve the social function of children and prevent adverse reactions to drugs.

文摘Objective:Based on multistage metabolomic profiling and Mendelian randomization analyses,the current study identified plasma metabolites that predicted the risk of developing gastric cancer(GC)and determined whether key metabolite levels modified the GC primary prevention effects.Methods:Plasma metabolites associated with GC risk were identified through a case-control study.Bi-directional two-sample Mendelian randomization analyses were performed to determine potential causal relationships utilizing the Shandong Intervention Trial(SIT),a nested case-control study of the Mass Intervention Trial in Linqu,Shandong province(MITS),China,the UK Biobank,and the Finn Gen project.Results:A higher genetic risk score for plasma L-aspartic acid was significantly associated with an increased GC risk in the northern Chinese population(SIT:HR=1.26 per 1 SD change,95%CI:1.07±1.49;MITS:HR=1.07,95%CI:1.00±1.14)and an increased gastric adenocarcinoma risk in Finn Gen(OR=1.68,95%CI:1.16±2.45).Genetically predicted plasma L-aspartic acid levels also modified the GC primary prevention effects with the beneficial effect of Helicobacter pylori eradication notably observed among individuals within the top quartile of L-aspartic acid level(P-interaction=0.098)and the beneficial effect of garlic supplementation only for those within the lowest quartile of L-aspartic acid level(P-interaction=0.02).Conclusions:Elevated plasma L-aspartic acid levels significantly increased the risk of developing GC and modified the effects of GC primary prevention.Further studies from other populations are warranted to validate the modification effect of plasma L-aspartic acid levels on GC prevention and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms.

文摘The application of machine learning for pyrite discrimination establishes a robust foundation for constructing the ore-forming history of multi-stage deposits;however,published models face challenges related to limited,imbalanced datasets and oversampling.In this study,the dataset was expanded to approximately 500 samples for each type,including 508 sedimentary,573 orogenic gold,548 sedimentary exhalative(SEDEX)deposits,and 364 volcanogenic massive sulfides(VMS)pyrites,utilizing random forest(RF)and support vector machine(SVM)methodologies to enhance the reliability of the classifier models.The RF classifier achieved an overall accuracy of 99.8%,and the SVM classifier attained an overall accuracy of 100%.The model was evaluated by a five-fold cross-validation approach with 93.8%accuracy for the RF and 94.9%for the SVM classifier.These results demonstrate the strong feasibility of pyrite classification,supported by a relatively large,balanced dataset and high accuracy rates.The classifier was employed to reveal the genesis of the controversial Keketale Pb-Zn deposit in NW China,which has been inconclusive among SEDEX,VMS,or a SEDEX-VMS transition.Petrographic investigations indicated that the deposit comprises early fine-grained layered pyrite(Py1)and late recrystallized pyrite(Py2).The majority voting classified Py1 as the VMS type,with an accuracy of RF and SVM being 72.2%and 75%,respectively,and confirmed Py2 as an orogenic type with 74.3% and 77.1%accuracy,respectively.The new findings indicated that the Keketale deposit originated from a submarine VMS mineralization system,followed by late orogenic-type overprinting of metamorphism and deformation,which is consistent with the geological and geochemical observations.This study further emphasizes the advantages of Machine learning(ML)methods in accurately and directly discriminating the deposit types and reconstructing the formation history of multi-stage deposits.

文摘Non-contact debris removal methods are fuel-efficient in a single operation compared to contact-based strategies as spacecraft don’t need to match debris velocity.To comprehensively analyze this scheme,maneuvering schemes for maximum debris removal with minimum fuel consumption,including task assignment,sequence planning,and trajectory planning,must be formulated.The coupling between variables’dimensions and optimization results in task assignment poses challenges,as debris removal is repetitive and uncertain,leading to a vast search space.This paper proposes a novel Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure with Large Neighborhood and Crossover Mechanisms(GRASP-LNCM)to address this problem.The hybrid dynamic iteration mechanism improves computational efficiency and enhances the optimality of results.The model innovatively considers unsuccessful single removal by using a quantitative method to assess removal percentage.In addition,to improve the efficiency of sequence and trajectory planning,a Suboptimal Search Algorithm(SSA)based on the Lambert property and accelerated Multi-Revolution Lambert Problem(MRLP)solving strategy is established.Finally,a real Iridium-33 debris removal mission is studied.The simulation demonstrates that the proposed algorithm achieves state-of-the-art performance in several typical scenarios.Compared to the contact-based scheme,the new one is simpler,saving more fuel under certain conditions.
