Experimental results show that the suggested BnB-DTW algorithm performs more efficiently than other conventional DTW approaches while not increasing the optimal warping cost.展开更多

In the context of the analysis and visualisation of large amounts of data extracted using Data Mining on a temporary basis (time-series), free software such as R has appeared in the international context as a perfect inexpensive and efficient tool of exploitation and visualisation of time series. This has allowed the development of models, which help to extract the most relevant information from large volumes of data. In this regard, a script has been developed with the goal of implementing ARIMA models, showing these as useful and quick mechanisms for the extraction, analysis and visualisation of large data volumes, in addition to presenting the great advantage of being applied in multiple branches of knowledge from economy, demography, physics, mathematics and fisheries among others. Therefore, ARIMA models appear as a Data Mining technique, offering reliable, robust and high-quality results, to help validate and sustain the research carried out.展开更多

A comparative study was made of three different computing methods: the same starting point method, the striding averaging method, and the stagger phase averaging method. All of them can be used to calculate the Hurst index, which quantifies fluctuation and randomness. This study used real water quality data from Shazhu monitoring station on Taihu Lake in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. The results show that, of the three methods, the stagger phase averaging method is best for calculating the Hurst index of a pollutant time series from the perspective of statistical regularity.展开更多

Therefore, an attempt is made in this research work to reduce the quantization of physical fields in GRT to the space-time quantization. Three reasons for quantum phenomena are considered: Partition of space-time into a set of unconnected Novikov’s R- and T-domains impenetrable for light paths;the set is generated by the invariance of Einstein’s equations with respect to dual mappings; The existence of electric charge quanta of wormholes, which geometrically describe elementary particles in GRT. This gives rise to a discrete spectrum of their physical and geometric parameters governed by Diophantine equations. It is shown that the fundamental constants (electric charge, rest masses of an electron and a proton) are interconnected arithmetically; The existence of the so-called Diophantine catastrophe, when fluctuations in the values of physical constants tending to zero lead to fluctuations in the number of electric charges and the number of nucleons at the wormhole throats, which tend to infinity, so that the product of the increments of these numbers by the increment of physical constants forms a relation equivalent to the uncertainty relation in quantum mechanics. This suggests that space-time cannot but fluctuate, and, moreover, its fluctuations are bounded from below, so that all processes become chaotic, and the observables become averaged over this chaos.展开更多

By strict calculation based on the Riemannian geometry, it is proved that the spatial curvature of the R-W metric is K=(κ-R2)/R2 . The result indicates that the R-W metric has no constant curvature when R(t)≠0 and κ is not spatial curvature factor. We can only consider κ as an adjustable parameter with κ≠0 in general situations. The result is completely different from the current understanding which is based on the precondition that the scalar factor R(t) is fixed. Due to this result, many conclusions in the current cosmology such as the densities of dark material and dark energy should be re-estimated. In this way, we may overcome the current puzzling situation of cosmology thoroughly.展开更多
