A new quaternary complex with 2,2-dihydroxymethyl propionic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline, Sm(CH3C(CH2OH)2COO)(NO3)2(phen), was synthesized in ethanol solution and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and solid-state 13C NMR. The result of molar electrolytic conductivity of the complex indicates that it is non-electrolyte. Solution and thermal properties of the complex further verifies that the complex and ligant are different. In addition, the analytical results also imply that the two hydroxyl groups of 2,2-dihydroxymethyl propionic acid are not involved in the coordinate reaction. This will provide a new way for producing new multifunctional polymer materials with excellent fluorescent property. The fluorescence spectra of the complex were also studied. The main fluorescence emission peak of the complex appeared at 555, 604 and 646 nm. These fluorescent emission peaks correspond to transitions from 4G5/2 to 6H5/2, 6H7/2 and 6H9/2 energy levels of samarium(Ⅲ) ion, respectively. The most intense peak is at 646 nm, which lies in the range of absorption wavelength of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b (600~680 nm), and it is beneficial to the crops to grow up. 展开更多

However, few mixed anion complexes with bidentate heterocyclic amines were synthesized. We synthesized mixed anion complexes Ln ( CH2 ClCOO )2 (NO3 ) ( phen) which was determined by elemental analyses . The IR spectra analyses indicate that NO3- , CH2 ClCOO- and phen are coordinated with Ln . The molar conductances of the complexes at 10-3 mol · L-1 were founded to be between 32.4 and 35.8 S·cm2· mol-1 , suggesting the nonelectrolytes in N-Dimethylformamide. And we determined the fluorescent spectra Eu(CH2ClCOO)2(NO3) ( phen ) and ESR spectra of Gd ( CH2 ClCOO )2 ( NO3) ( phen) . 展开更多

A new quaternary mixed anion complex of gadolinium(Ⅲ), [Gd(CH 3CH 2COO) 2(N O 3)(phen)] 2, was synthesized and structurally characterized. The ESR spectr um of the complex with effective g values of 5.314, 2 473 and 1.880 in poly crys talline powder at room temperature is quite different from the U spectrum. The c oordination number of Gd 3+ is nine with a monocapped square antiprism geom etry. And the stacking effect was observed in the complex. The crystal of the co mplex belongs to triclinic with space group P 1, a=0.9626(4) n m, b=0.9732(4) nm, c=1.1758(5) nm, α=102.45(1)°, β=108.16(1) °, γ=96.68(2)°, V=1.0018(7) nm3, Z=2, D c=1.80 g·cm -3 , μ(MoKα)=33.63 mm -1, F(000)=530, GOF=1.80, R=0.023 and R w=0.027. 展开更多

The IR spectra analysis indicate that NO3-, CH2-C(CH3)-COO- and Phen are coordinated with Ln.
