Maxillary bone loss impairs essential functions (chewing, swallowing, speech) and gives patients a very unaesthetic appearance due to the removal of facial support tissues, leading to serious psychological consequences. Treatment is multidisciplinary and requires a resective surgery if the cause is tumor-related, or an additive surgery if the cause is traumatic. This article aims to show the role of making a prosthesis to restore function (chewing, swallowing, speech) and aesthetics following maxillary bone loss. We will eighter present a clinical case involving a right maxillary tumor that was surgically resected followed by radiotherapy, and subsequently rehabilitated with a maxillofacial prosthesis in the consultation and dental treatment center of the university hospital center of Casablanca. 展开更多

This paper presents an innovative design of a Bionic Powered Ankle Prosthesis(BPAP)utilizing a muscle recruitment mechanism-inspired clutch,aimed at achieving biomimetic simulation of ankle muscle function.To address the varying stiffness requirements of the prosthesis across different gaits,the clutch dynamically switch between different rope bundle combinations.The mechanical characteristics during the load traction process of the selected flexible ropes are also studied.A mathematical model of the series elastic drive system is established.The optimization is carried out with the minimum peak power required by the motor as the optimization goal.The experimental results show that by applying a clutch with human muscle recruitment mechanism,the proposed prosthesis can achieve better energy efficiency at different speeds. 展开更多

背景:由3D打印的钛合金骨小梁臼杯假体具有优越的生物学特性,有助于干细胞成骨分化;补肾活血汤有补肾壮筋、活血止痛之功,而目前两者联合在老年髋关节置换术中的应用罕见报道。目的:评价3D打印钛合金骨小梁臼杯假体联合加味补肾活血汤... 背景:由3D打印的钛合金骨小梁臼杯假体具有优越的生物学特性,有助于干细胞成骨分化;补肾活血汤有补肾壮筋、活血止痛之功,而目前两者联合在老年髋关节置换术中的应用罕见报道。目的:评价3D打印钛合金骨小梁臼杯假体联合加味补肾活血汤在老年髋关节置换过程中的应用价值及安全性。方法:选择河北省沧州中西医结合医院2022年1月至2024年1月收治且行髋关节置换治疗的200例老年患者,随机分为对照组和试验组,每组100例。对照组行Pinnaele臼杯假体髋关节置换联合加味补肾活血汤治疗,试验组行3D打印钛合金骨小梁臼杯假体髋关节置换联合加味补肾活血汤治疗,髋关节置换术前连续用药1周,术后连续用药4周。比较两组患者疼痛、肿胀情况、血液流变学、炎症因子、骨代谢、关节内应力、髋关节外展肌力差异,评价两种治疗方案的临床疗效及安全性。结果与结论:①术后4周,试验组患者疼痛目测类比评分、患肢肿胀度、全血黏度、血浆黏度均低于对照组(P<0.05);试验组患者白细胞介素6水平低于对照组,白细胞介素10水平高于对照组(P<0.05);试验组Ⅰ型胶原羧基端肽β特殊序列、抗酒石酸酸性磷酸酶5b水平低于对照组,骨钙素、骨特异性磷酸酶、Ⅰ型前胶原氨基端前肽水平高于对照组(P<0.05);试验组关节内应力、髋关节外展肌力高于对照组(P<0.05);②术后3个月,试验组治疗优良率高于对照组,术后切口血肿、感染等安全性评价事件发生率低于对照组(P<0.05);③提示3D打印钛合金骨小梁臼杯假体联合加味补肾活血汤可改善老年髋关节置换患者血液流变学,抑制炎症反应,减轻术后疼痛、肿胀,改善骨代谢状态,从而促进术后髋关节功能恢复,且不良事件发生率降低,安全性较高。 展开更多

背景:单髁置换已成为治疗终末期内侧间室膝骨关节炎的重要微创手段,在关节外科领域应用日益广泛。有限元分析作为一种先进的生物力学研究方法,能模拟真实人体,揭示膝关节生物力学特性,为优化手术方案及开发新型植入材料提供有力支持。目... 背景:单髁置换已成为治疗终末期内侧间室膝骨关节炎的重要微创手段,在关节外科领域应用日益广泛。有限元分析作为一种先进的生物力学研究方法,能模拟真实人体,揭示膝关节生物力学特性,为优化手术方案及开发新型植入材料提供有力支持。目的:综述膝内侧间室骨关节炎单髁置换中有限元分析技术的应用进展,并展望了未来的发展趋势。方法:第一作者于PubMed数据库和中国知网检索建库至2024年12月发表的文献,以“finite element analysis,medial compartment osteoarthritis of the knee,unicompartmental knee arthroplasty,prosthesis alignment,joint line,prosthesis design,fracture risk factors”为英文检索词进行检索;以“有限元分析,膝关节,单髁置换术,假体排列,关节线,假体设计,骨折危险因素”为中文检索词进行检索。最终纳入53篇文献进行分析。结果与结论:①胫骨假体排列:固定平台单髁置换在冠状面推荐0°,后倾5°-7°;活动平台单髁置换则推荐冠状面内翻4°至外翻4°,后倾3°-7°,轴位旋转0°至外旋3°;②股骨假体排列:固定平台单髁置换在冠状面排列推荐股骨髁远端中心0°(中立位),矢状面排列为后倾9°-12°;活动平台单髁置换中,股骨假体冠状面排列为内翻4°至外翻4°,轴位旋转为0°(中立位)至内旋6°;③关节线高度:建议维持原关节线高度;④假体设计:固定平台假体单髁置换建议采用平底或解剖模拟设计的衬垫;活动平台假体单髁置换则推荐采用解剖模拟或与人体解剖一致性高的衬垫;此外,单髁置换胫骨托盘设计推荐两直立柱与鳍骨或小龙骨的组合设计,胫骨假体立柱长度以33 mm为宜。 展开更多

背景:骨质疏松症通常被认为是单髁膝关节置换术后假体松动的危险因素之一,然而对于骨质疏松症患者行固定平台单髁置换术后胫骨假体松动的有限元研究较少。目的:通过有限元法探讨固定平台单髁置换后,不同骨密度下松质骨开槽及减少后倾角... 背景:骨质疏松症通常被认为是单髁膝关节置换术后假体松动的危险因素之一,然而对于骨质疏松症患者行固定平台单髁置换术后胫骨假体松动的有限元研究较少。目的:通过有限元法探讨固定平台单髁置换后,不同骨密度下松质骨开槽及减少后倾角度干预后假体周围的滑移及应力特性。方法:利用61岁女性膝骨关节炎患者的膝关节CT扫描数据进行三维模型重建,随后在计算机中对三维模型进行固定平台单髁置换手术,实施胫骨松质骨开槽和减少后倾角度的干预。分别赋予骨质疏松症和非骨质疏松症的材料参数,通过有限元分析法验证胫骨开横槽和改变胫骨后倾角是否会对假体无菌性松动率产生影响。结果与结论:①在固定平台单髁置换的有限元分析中,与非骨质疏松膝关节相比,骨质疏松膝关节骨质承担载荷的能力减弱;②不同骨密度下的胫骨假体相较内外滑移均更倾向于发生前后滑移;③松质骨开横槽后模型发生滑移的程度降低,这种横槽设计可以预防假体松动;④对于骨质疏松症膝关节,减少后倾角度(从6°至4°)后的胫骨承担载荷的能力更强,发生假体松动的可能性降低;⑤同时减后倾角度和开横槽的方案对预防术后假体松动具有优势,这种优势在骨质疏松症膝关节中表现更为显著。 展开更多

背景:随着国内人工全膝关节置换的广泛应用,非感染性假体松动成为术后翻修的主要原因之一。针对复杂松动病例,传统翻修技术较为复杂,难度较高,而人工智能术前规划结合Sleeve延长杆与MBT假体的应用,为精准重建关节稳定性和力学对线提供... 背景:随着国内人工全膝关节置换的广泛应用,非感染性假体松动成为术后翻修的主要原因之一。针对复杂松动病例,传统翻修技术较为复杂,难度较高,而人工智能术前规划结合Sleeve延长杆与MBT假体的应用,为精准重建关节稳定性和力学对线提供了新的解决方案,有望改善翻修手术的长期效果。目的:探究人工智能术前规划辅助下采用Sleeve+延长杆结合MBT假体翻修治疗非感染性全膝关节假体松动的早中期临床疗效。方法:回顾分析江苏省中医院骨伤科2021年1月至2024年9月收治的17例全膝关节置换术后非感染性假体松动患者,其中男6例,女11例;年龄59-81岁,平均(72.06±6.10)岁;左侧8例,右侧9例;假体使用年限2-22年,平均(10.53±4.60)年;均为初次置换后翻修,翻修原因:假体周围骨溶解伴内衬磨损15例,股骨髁陈旧性骨折致假体松动1例,胫骨平台假体断裂1例;其中AORIⅡB型13例;AORIⅡA型4例。记录术前人工智能设计假体型号与术中实际应用型号,并进行对比分析;对比患者术前、术后1周及6,12个月的目测类比评分、美国膝关节协会膝关节评分、膝关节髋-膝-踝角及膝关节活动度,评估手术疗效。结果与结论:①除1例患者术后1个月切口愈合不良外,其余患者均恢复良好,未出现下肢深静脉血栓、感染、假体周围骨折、假体松动等不良事件;②随访时间6-41个月,平均(23.63±12.50)个月;至末次随访,2例患者活动后稍有酸胀不适,1例患者活动时有明显疼痛;③翻修治疗术后末次随访,患者静息痛、运动痛目测类比疼痛评分、患侧活动度、髋-膝-踝角、美国膝关节协会膝关节评分均较术前显著改善(P<0.01),差异均有显著性意义;④人工智能术前设计股骨髁及胫骨平台假体匹配率为85%,余组件匹配率为62%;⑤提示采用Sleeve+延长杆结合MBT假体进行非感染性膝关节翻修对于骨缺损严重的患者能够有效纠正关节力线、填补骨缺损、改善疼痛及膝关节活动度,提高患者生活质量,术后中早期疗效良好;人工智能术前规划总体上有助于提高手术准确性、降低翻修难度、减小风险,促进患者术后恢复。 展开更多

目的:研究锆铌合金髋关节假体植入前后股骨在慢走、常速行走、快走、上楼、下楼5种运动状态下应力分布的差异,并分析植入后股骨近端的应力屏蔽情况。方法:首先,利用Mimics、Geomagic、SolidWorks等软件建立三维股骨模型,并将股骨截骨后... 目的:研究锆铌合金髋关节假体植入前后股骨在慢走、常速行走、快走、上楼、下楼5种运动状态下应力分布的差异,并分析植入后股骨近端的应力屏蔽情况。方法:首先,利用Mimics、Geomagic、SolidWorks等软件建立三维股骨模型,并将股骨截骨后模型与锆铌合金髋关节假体模型装配。其次,将装配好的模型导入ABAQUS软件中进行有限元仿真分析,向股骨施加载荷,分析在快走、常速行走、慢走、上楼以及下楼5种运动状态下髋关节假体植入后股骨的应力水平。最后,根据股骨的几何特点,通过Gruen分区将股骨分为7个区,并分析各分区的应力屏蔽情况。结果:有限元仿真结果显示,在5种运动状态下,假体植入后的股骨应力水平高于假体植入前的应力水平,且上楼状态下股骨近端的应力较高;股骨近端大转子处和小转子处出现了不同程度的应力屏蔽现象,大转子处应力屏蔽现象较为明显,应力屏蔽率达到10.9%~14.1%,而股骨中远端几乎不存在应力屏蔽现象。结论:在慢走、常速行走、快走、上楼、下楼5种运动状态下,使用锆铌合金髋关节假体均能有效改善髋关节置换术后股骨的应力环境,减少股骨的应力屏蔽现象。 展开更多

目的:分析数字化导板的应用对口腔种植精确性及美学效果的影响。方法:选取2021年3月-2023年9月亳州市人民医院口腔科收治的68例牙齿缺失行口腔种植修复患者为研究对象,采用随机数字表法将其分为常规种植修复组和数字化导板组,每组34例... 目的:分析数字化导板的应用对口腔种植精确性及美学效果的影响。方法:选取2021年3月-2023年9月亳州市人民医院口腔科收治的68例牙齿缺失行口腔种植修复患者为研究对象,采用随机数字表法将其分为常规种植修复组和数字化导板组,每组34例。常规种植修复组给予自由手种植体植入,数字化导板组给予牙支持式数字化导板引导种植体植入,术后6个月进行牙冠修复,治疗完成后两组均随访3个月,两组分别失访2例、1例,最终纳入常规种植修复组32例、数字化导板组33例进行研究。比较两组种植体植入后6个月种植精准性,牙冠修复后1周、牙冠修复后3个月修复美学效果,牙冠修复后3个月牙周健康,治疗前、牙冠修复后3个月生活质量,牙冠修复后6个月安全性。结果:种植体植入后6个月,相较常规种植修复组,数字化导板组颈部距离偏差、根尖部距离偏差、深度偏差、角度偏差更低(P<0.05)。牙冠修复后1周、牙冠修复后3个月,数字化导板组白色美学指数(WES)、红色美学指数(PES)评分均高于常规种植修复组(P<0.05)。牙冠修复后3个月,数字化导板组探诊深度、牙龈指数、菌斑指数、出血指数均低于常规种植修复组(P<0.05)。与治疗前比较,牙冠修复后3个月两组身体机能不适、疼痛不适、心理不适、独立能力减弱评分均降低,且数字化导板组更低(P<0.05)。牙冠修复后6个月,数字化导板组并发症发生率低于常规种植修复组(P<0.05)。结论:数字化导板应用于牙齿缺失口腔种植修复术患者,可提高种植精确性及牙周健康,改善修复美学效果,降低并发症发生率,提高患者生活质量。 展开更多

Treatment of acute periprosthetic infections with prosthesis retention: Review of current concepts 被引量:13

Periprosthetic joint infection(PJI) is a devastating complication after total joint arthroplasty, occurring in approximately 1%-2% of all cases. With growing populations and increasing age, PJI will have a growing effect on health care costs. Many risk factors have been identified that increase the risk of developing PJI, including obesity, immune system deficiencies, malignancy, previous surgery of the same joint and longer operating time. Acute PJI occurs either postoperatively(4 wk to 3 mo after initial arthroplasty, depending on the classification system), or via hematogenous spreading after a period in which the prosthesis had functioned properly. Diagnosis and the choice of treatment are the cornerstones to success. Although different definitions for PJI have been used in the past, most are more or less similar and include the presence of a sinus tract, blood infection values, synovial white blood cell count, signs of infection on histopathological analysis and one ormore positive culture results. Debridement, antibiotics and implant retention(DAIR) is the primary treatment for acute PJI, and should be performed as soon as possible after the development of symptoms. Success rates differ, but most studies report success rates of around 60%-80%. Whether single or multiple debridement procedures are more successful remains unclear. The use of local antibiotics in addition to the administration of systemic antibiotic agents is also subject to debate, and its pro's and con's should be carefully considered. Systemic treatment, based on culture results, is of importance for all PJI treatments. Additionally, rifampin should be given in Staphylococcal PJIs, unless all foreign material is removed. The most important factors contributing to treatment failure are longer duration of symptoms, a longer time after initial arthroplasty, the need for more debridement procedures, the retention of exchangeable components, and PJI caused by Staphylococcus(aureus or coagulase negative). If DAIR treatment is unsuccessful, the following treatment option should be based on the patient health status and his or her expectations. For the best functional outcome, one- or two-stage revision should be performed after DAIR failure. In conclusion, DAIR is the obvious choice for treatment of acute PJI, with good success rates in selected patients. 展开更多

As the essential technology of human-robotics interactive wearable devices,the robotic knee prosthesis can provide above-knee amputations with functional knee compensations to realize their physical and psychological social regression.With the development of mechanical and mechatronic science and technology,the fully active knee prosthesis that can provide subjects with actuating torques has demonstrated a better wearing performance in slope walking and stair ascent when compared with the passive and the semi-active ones.Additionally,with intelligent human-robotics control strategies and algorithms,the wearing effect of the knee prosthesis has been greatly enhanced in terms of stance stability and swing mobility.Therefore,to help readers to obtain an overview of recent progress in robotic knee prosthesis,this paper systematically categorized knee prostheses according to their integrated functions and introduced related research in the past ten years(2010−2020)regarding(1)mechanical design,including uniaxial,four-bar,and multi-bar knee structures,(2)actuating technology,including rigid and elastic actuation,and(3)control method,including mode identification,motion prediction,and automatic control.Quantitative and qualitative analysis and comparison of robotic knee prosthesis-related techniques are conducted.The development trends are concluded as follows:(1)bionic and lightweight structures with better mechanical performance,(2)bionic elastic actuation with energy-saving effect,(3)artificial intelligence-based bionic prosthetic control.Besides,challenges and innovative insights of customized lightweight bionic knee joint structure,highly efficient compact bionic actuation,and personalized daily multi-mode gait adaptation are also discussed in-depth to facilitate the future development of the robotic knee prosthesis. 展开更多

A novel reconstructive prosthesis was designed with topological optimization(TO)and a lattice structure to enhance biomechanical and biological properties in the proximal tibia.The biomechanical performance was validated through finite element analysis(FEA)and biomechanical tests.The tibia with inhomogeneous material properties was reconstructed according to computed tomography images,and different components were designed to simulate the operation.Minimum compliance TO subject to a volume fraction constraint combined with a graded lattice structure was utilized to redesign the prosthesis.FEA was performed to evaluate the mechanical performances of the tibia and implants after optimization,including stress,micromotion,and strain energy.The results were analyzed by paired-samples t tests,and p<0.05 was considered significant.Biomechanical testing was used to verify the tibial stresses.Compared to the original group(OG),the TO group(TOG)exhibited lower stress on the stem,and the maximum von Mises stresses were 87.2 and 53.1 MPa,respectively,a 39.1%reduction(p<0.05).Conversely,the stress and strain energy on the tibia increased in the TOG.The maximum von Mises stress values were 16.4 MPa in the OG and 22.9 MPa in the TOG with a 39.6%increase(p<0.05),and the maximum SED value was 0.026 MPa in the OG and 0.042 MPa in the TOG,corresponding to an increase of 61.5%(p<0.05).The maximum micromotions in the distal end of the stem were 135μm in the OG and 68μm in the TOG,almost a 50%reduction.The stress curves of the biomechanical test coincided well with the FEA results.The TO approach can effectively reduce the whole weight of the prosthesis and improve the biomechanical environment of the tibia.It could also pave the way for next-generation applications in orthopedics surgery. 展开更多

A common complaint after inflatable penile prosthesis surgery is reduced penile length. We previously reported how using the Coloplast Titan inflatable penile prosthesis with aggressive new length measurement technique (NLMT) coupled with postoperative IPP rehabilitation of the implant for 1-year helped to improve patient satisfact on and erectile peni e measurements Th s is a 2 years follow-up of a prospective, three-center, study of 40 patients who underwent Titan prosthesis placement, With new length measurement technique for erectile dysfunction. Patient instructions were to inflate daily for 6 months and then inflate maximally for 1-2 h daily for 6-24 months. Fifteen penile measurements were taken before and immediately after surgery and at follow-up visits. Measurement changes were improved at 24 months as compared to immediately postoperative and at 12 months. 67.8% of subjects were satisfied with their length at 2 years, and 77% had perceived penile length that was longer (30.8%) or the same (46.2%) as prior to the surgery. 64.3% and 17.9% of subjects had increased and unchanged satisfaction, respectively, with penile length as compared to prior to penile implant surgery. All but one subject (96.5%) was satisfied with the overall function of his implant. This study suggests using the Coloplast Titan with aggressive cylinder sizing, and a postoperative penile rehabilitation inflation protocol can optimize patient satisfaction and erectile penile measurements at 2 years postimplant. 展开更多

Purpose:The aim of this study is to describe and analyse the factors which influence utilization of EBPs among breast cancer patients worldwide and particularly in China.Methods:Literature searches were conducted in Wanfang,CNKI,and PubMed databses in order to identify relevant articles published in both Chinese and English up to October 2014.The phrase“external breast prosthesis”in Chinese was used to search titles,abstracts,and key words to find articles in Wanfang and CNKI electronic databases.Synonyms and related terms for external breast prosthesis were combined and used for searches performed in PubMed.Additional references were subsequently extracted from the bibliographies of all included articles and reviews.Qualitative analysis was applied in this study rather than meta-analysis.Results:The number of relevant studies published in other countries is five times greater than the literature published in China,with most articles written by Australian scientists.Based on the existing references,reconstruction,comfort,appearance,cost,mental status,and supportive information were the main factors influencing choice of treatment options by patients.Conclusion:Six main factors influencing EBP use worldwide were identified.Although the number of breast cancer cases per year is increasing at a much higher rate in China relative to the average number globally,relevant studies on Chinese patients are lacking.Thus,further studies should be undertaken in China in order to develop effective service modalities in order to improve quality of life of patients. 展开更多

A new type of testicular prosthesis made of silastic with an elliptical shape to mimic a normal testis was developed by our team and submitted for patenting in China. The prosthesis was produced in different sizes to imitate the normal testis of the patient. To investigate the effects and safety of the testicular prosthesis, 20 patients receiving testicular prosthesis implantation were recruited for this study. Follow-up after 6 months revealed no complications in the patients. All the patients answered that they were satisfied with their body image and the position of the implants, 19 patients were satisfied with the size and 16 patients were satisfied with the weight. These results show that the testicular prosthesis used in this study can meet patient's expectations. Patients undergoing orchiectomy should be offered the option to receive a testicular prosthesis implantation. The dimensions and weight of the available prosthetic implants should be further addressed to improve patient satisfaction. 展开更多

Systemic chemotherapy of breast cancer is commonly delivered as a large dose and has toxic side effects.Local chemotherapy would overcome the shortcomings of systemic reconstruction and could play an important role in breast cancer surgery according to personalized demand.The application of three-dimensional(3D)printing technology makes personalized customization possible.We designed and prepared a prosthesis containing paclitaxel(PTX)and doxorubicin(DOX)microspheres(PPDM)based on 3D printing to prevent tumor recurrence and metastasis after breast conserving surgery.Polydimethysiloxane has good biocompatibility and was used as a drug carrier in this study.The average particle size of the PTX and DOX microspheres were approximately 3.1μm and 2.2μm,respectively.The drug loading of PTX and DOX microspheres was 4.2% and 2.1%,respectively.In vitro drug release studies demonstrated that the 3D-printed prosthesis loaded with PTX and DOXmicrospheres could release the drugs continuously for more than 3 weeks and thereby suppress cancer recurrence with reduced side effects.The PTX and DOX microspheres not only exerted a synergistic effect,but also achieved a good sustained release effect.In vivo evaluation showed that the PPDM could effectively inhibit breast cancer recurrence andmetastasis inmice with breast cancer.PPDM are expected to achieve postoperative chemotherapy for breast cancer and be highly efficient to prevent local breast cancer recurrence and metastasis. 展开更多

We compared erect penile length after inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) implantation with that induced by intracavemosal injection (ICI) before surgery. A total of 11 patients with full erections induced by ICI of 0.25 mL of Trimix (papaverine, phentolamine and prostaglandin E 1) at the time of penile color duplex Doppler ultrasonograpby were enrolled in this study. The patients subsequently underwent IPP implantation as the ultimate treatment for their erectile dysfunction (ED). Erect penile length consequent to IPP implantation was measured at 6 weeks, 6 months and at I year after surgery. The Sexual Health Inventory for Men (SHIM) was administered before, and at 6 months and 1 year after IPP implantation. Erect penile length (mean ± s.c.) as induced by ICI was 13.2 ± 0.4 cm, whereas the lengths attained with IPP were 12.4 ± 0.3, 12.5 ± 0.3 and 12.5 ± 0.4 cm at the sixth week, sixth month and 1-year follow-ups, respectively. There were 0.83 ± 0.25, 0.75 ± 0.20 and 0.74 ± 0.15 cm decreases in erect penile length at 6 weeks, 6 months and 1 year, respectively, after IPP implantation when compared with that after ICI (P 〈 0.05). The SHIM scores for patients reporting shorter penises were the same as those for patients without complaints at the 6-month and 1-year follow-ups (P 〉 0.05). To our knowledge, this is the first study to objectively show a significant decrease in erect penile length after IPP implantation when compared with that after ICI. However, this decrease did not affect the effectiveness of IPP in treating ED. 展开更多

To evaluate the current literature about how successfully periprosthetic hip joint infections can be managed by debridement and prosthesis retention.A literature search was performed through Pub Med until September 2013.Search terms were"DAIR(debridement,antibiotics,irrigation,and retention)"alone and in combination with"hip"as well as"hip infection+prosthesis retention".A total of 11 studies reporting on 292 cases could be identified.Five different treatment modalities have been described with varying success rates(debridement-21%infection eradication rate;debridement+lavage-75%infection eradication rate;debridement,lavage,with change of modular prosthesis components-70.4%infection eradication rate;debridement,lavage,change of modular prosthesis components+vacuum-assisted closure-92.8%infection eradication rate;acetabular cup removal+spacer head onto retained stem-89.6%infection eradication rate).With regard to the postoperative antibiotic therapy,no general consensus could be drawn from the available data.Debridement,antibiotic therapy,irrigation,and prosthesis retention is an acceptable solution in the management of early and acute hematogenous periprosthetic hip joint infections.The current literature does not allow for generalization of conclusions with regard to thebest treatment modality.A large,multi-center study is required for identification of the optimal treatment of these infections. 展开更多
