With the development of information technology,a large number of product quality data in the entire manufacturing process is accumulated,but it is not explored and used effectively.The traditional product quality pred...With the development of information technology,a large number of product quality data in the entire manufacturing process is accumulated,but it is not explored and used effectively.The traditional product quality prediction models have many disadvantages,such as high complexity and low accuracy.To overcome the above problems,we propose an optimized data equalization method to pre-process dataset and design a simple but effective product quality prediction model:radial basis function model optimized by the firefly algorithm with Levy flight mechanism(RBFFALM).First,the new data equalization method is introduced to pre-process the dataset,which reduces the dimension of the data,removes redundant features,and improves the data distribution.Then the RBFFALFM is used to predict product quality.Comprehensive expe riments conducted on real-world product quality datasets validate that the new model RBFFALFM combining with the new data pre-processing method outperforms other previous me thods on predicting product quality.展开更多

It shows that errors in production process and degradation in the jewellery pro duct quality in the (complex) transition from hand crafted silver model making to mass production are largely due to the ignorance of the importance of design——craftsmanship in production process. In fact, the design can be employed to solve the problems of the quality degradation or even as a tool to prevent error in the stages of product design, development and production. In testing this hypo thesis, production processes (from designing, model making, casting, polishing, buffing to texturing) are all examined in order to identify the root causes of product quality degradation in mass production. After the analysis, the concept of “integrated craftsmanship” is proposed to assist integration of traditional goldsmith′s and je wellery designers′ techniques in jewellery designing and making, and to change the attitudes to quality control in mass production systems. Finally, the model of “integra ted design craftsmanship” as a comprehensive design conceptual and quality organizational tool is formulated for managing and improving product quality.展开更多

Based on the comparative analysis of production performance, egg quality and muscle quality characteristics, the correlation between polydactyly phenotype and product quali- ty of Beijing fatty chickens was analyzed, aiming at providing the reference for development and utilization of product quality and breeding of Beijing fatty chickens. [ Method] Egg laying/meat dual-purpose type Beijing fatty chickens were selected and divided into three groups (bilateral four-toed, unilateral five-toed and bilat- eral five-toed) with four replications, 60 chickens per replications, 240 chickens per group. The production performance (weight, laying rate and egg weight), egg quality (Haugh unit) and muscle quality (pH, water-holding capacity, Warner-Bratzler shear force, TPA, nucleotide metabolites) characteristics of Beijing fatty chickens were determined. [ Result] The weight of 120-d-old and 240-d-old bilateral five-toed Beijing fatty chickens was slightly higher than that of bilateral fourtoed and unilateral five-toed Beijing fatty chickens, with no significant difference (P 〉0.05) ; egg weight of 160-d-old bilateral five-toed Beijing fatty chickens was significantly higher than that of bilateral four-toed and unilateral five-toed individuals ( P 〈 0.05 ). Water-holding capacity of leg muscles of bilateral five-toed Bei- jing fatty chickens was significantly superior to that of unilateral five-toed and bilateral four-toed individuals (P 〈0.05 ). The hardness, gumminess and chewiness of leg muscles of bilateral five-toed Beijing fatty chickens were significantly lower than that of unilateral five-toed and bilateral four-toed individuals ( P 〈 0.05 ), but the coherence and elasticity were remarkably higher compared with unilateral five-toed and bilateral four-toed individuals ( P 〈 0.05 ). Warner-Bratzler shear force of leg muscles of bilateral five-toed Beijing fatty chickens was significantly higher than that of other individuals ( P 〈 0.05 ). There was no significant difference in flavor substances among Beijing fatty chickens with different polydactyly phenotypes (P 〉0.05). [ Conclusion] At early stage, the weight and egg weight of fivetoed Beijing fatty chickens were slightly superior to that of four-toed individuals. In addition, Beijing fatty chickens with different polydactyly phenotypes displayed excellent muscle quality. One of the sectors that recorded poor performance as a result of the slow growth of tourism is the hotel busin...Kenya's tourism business stagnated from 1991 to 2003 and only registered small but steady grew from 2004. One of the sectors that recorded poor performance as a result of the slow growth of tourism is the hotel business. Despite this slack, stakeholders in Kenya have not tried to assess the extent to which the quality of this sector may impact on destination preference. The ultimate purpose of this research was to establish the quality gap between the expected and the perceived hotel product/service quality from both the perspective of the tourists and the hotel operators in Kenya. It was motivated by the need to create parameters that can elavate the competitiveness of Kenya's tourism using the hotel product/service quality offer. Descriptive quantitative research design was used to establish the secondary objectives and to assess two propositions set for the study. A sample of 211 tourists and 19 hotel operators in two major tourist provinces of Kenya was used to obtain information regarding normative and perceptive hotel product/service quality. Kenya's only destination marketing organisation, Kenya Tourist Board (KTB) marketers were also surveyed to provide insight on Kenya's destination position with regard to the motivation of tourists to visit Kenya. The study established that although the attractions which make tourists come to Kenya are the unique wildlife safari, beach tourism and the natural scenery, hotel product quality and hospitality plays a vital role in motivating tourists to choose Kenya as the destination to visit. However, this study found out that while the tourists and hotel operators agree on the normative hotel product quality level, there is a significant gap between the normative quality and the perceptual quality registered by tourists who used hotel services. The study established that hotel operators only recognize quality regulatory institutions with statutory and legal authority to incriminate facilities that do not comply with laid down operational requirements such as Hotels and Restaurants Authority and the Local Authority Public Health Department. The study has proposed an integrated framework that may be utilized to build a superior national hotel product/service quality so that the economic potential of tourism is maximized in Kenya.展开更多

文摘In order to express information on the quality grade of product designed, thetarget value of product quality design was described with a fuzzy number in this paper. Analternative to Taguchi's, the robustness application design method has been recently presented.However, neither Taguchi's method nor the alternative method is capable of dealing satisfactorilywith the frequently encountered situations in which all the noise variables cannot be studiedsimultaneously. Based on the ideas from response surface modeling, linear models theory, and randomeffects models, we provide a method for estimation in the robustness application design method inproduct quality applications. With this new method used, the high-quality ratio of the productdesigned could be increased, and the ability to resist the influence of various disturbing factorsand noise factors could be enhanced.

Therefore, in order to improve the accuracy of product quality control, it is necessary to introduce the concept of risk management into the activities of product quality inspection institutions.

文摘Kenya's tourism business stagnated from 1991 to 2003 and only registered small but steady grew from 2004. One of the sectors that recorded poor performance as a result of the slow growth of tourism is the hotel business. Despite this slack, stakeholders in Kenya have not tried to assess the extent to which the quality of this sector may impact on destination preference. The ultimate purpose of this research was to establish the quality gap between the expected and the perceived hotel product/service quality from both the perspective of the tourists and the hotel operators in Kenya. It was motivated by the need to create parameters that can elavate the competitiveness of Kenya's tourism using the hotel product/service quality offer. Descriptive quantitative research design was used to establish the secondary objectives and to assess two propositions set for the study. A sample of 211 tourists and 19 hotel operators in two major tourist provinces of Kenya was used to obtain information regarding normative and perceptive hotel product/service quality. Kenya's only destination marketing organisation, Kenya Tourist Board (KTB) marketers were also surveyed to provide insight on Kenya's destination position with regard to the motivation of tourists to visit Kenya. The study established that although the attractions which make tourists come to Kenya are the unique wildlife safari, beach tourism and the natural scenery, hotel product quality and hospitality plays a vital role in motivating tourists to choose Kenya as the destination to visit. However, this study found out that while the tourists and hotel operators agree on the normative hotel product quality level, there is a significant gap between the normative quality and the perceptual quality registered by tourists who used hotel services. The study established that hotel operators only recognize quality regulatory institutions with statutory and legal authority to incriminate facilities that do not comply with laid down operational requirements such as Hotels and Restaurants Authority and the Local Authority Public Health Department. The study has proposed an integrated framework that may be utilized to build a superior national hotel product/service quality so that the economic potential of tourism is maximized in Kenya.

文摘Manufacturers are striving to achieve higher energy efficiency without compromising production performance and quality standards.Parallel-serial structures,commonly found in modern production systems,offer a unique balance of flexibility and efficiency by combining parallel processes with sequential workflows.However,their inherent complexity poses significant challenges,particularly in optimizing energy efficiency and ensuring consistent product quality.In data-driven manufacturing environments,it is not clear how to leverage production data to enhance the energy efficiency of production systems.Therefore,this paper studied a data-driven approach to improving energy efficiency in parallel-serial production lines with product quality issues.Firstly,the authors developed a data-driven performance analysis method to evaluate the effects of disruption events,such as energy-saving control actions,machine breakdowns,and product quality failures,on system throughput and energy consumption.Secondly,a periodic energy-saving control method was developed to enhance system energy efficiency using a non-linear programming model.To reduce complexity and improve computational efficiency,the model was simplified by leveraging the intrinsic properties of parallel-serial production lines and solved using an adaptive genetic algorithm.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed data-driven approach was validated through case studies,providing actionable insights into achieving data-driven energy efficiency optimization in complex production systems.
文摘Quality engineers play a key role in software product development,covering various stages such as requirements analysis,design,coding,testing,and delivery.Its responsibilities include formulating quality standards,writing test cases,conducting functional and performance tests,and optimizing the product based on feedback.In government procurement projects,quality evaluation focuses on process compliance,security,and functional compatibility.KPI evaluation trees are commonly used for quantitative assessment,and a dynamic adjustment mechanism for indicators needs to be established to cope with complex demands.In addition,risk-driven testing and agile development should be combined to set up quality access control to ensure that each iteration version meets expectations.The multi-dimensional quality assurance and verification scoring mechanism can effectively enhance product reliability and reduce project risks.

文摘Driven by technological innovation and the innovative allocation of production factors,new quality productive forces(NQPFs)are a key breakthrough and core element propelling China’s transition from a major agricultural country to an advanced agricultural nation.At its core,agricultural modernization represents a frontier shift in agricultural development-a dynamic evolution of productive forces across technological forms,farmer demographics,industrial structures,and urban-rural relations.NQPFs drive the high-quality,integrated development of agricultural modernization through agricultural technological innovation,green and low-carbon practices,and the enhancement of all production factors.As NQPFs evolve and agricultural modernization advances,we must address constraints stemming from gaps in technology,models,resources,and talent.Furthermore,we must foster deep integration among industry,research,and education to develop new pathways for industrial upgrading,promote green and efficient agricultural development,and bridge existing technological gaps.These collective efforts are crucial for accelerating the high-quality development of agricultural modernization.
文摘In the new era,the impact of emerging productive forces has permeated every sector of industry.As the core production factor of these forces,data plays a pivotal role in industrial transformation and social development.Consequently,many domestic universities have introduced majors or courses related to big data.Among these,the Big Data Management and Applications major stands out for its interdisciplinary approach and emphasis on practical skills.However,as an emerging field,it has not yet accumulated a robust foundation in teaching theory and practice.Current instructional practices face issues such as unclear training objectives,inconsistent teaching methods and course content,insufficient integration of practical components,and a shortage of qualified faculty-factors that hinder both the development of the major and the overall quality of education.Taking the statistics course within the Big Data Management and Applications major as an example,this paper examines the challenges faced by statistics education in the context of emerging productive forces and proposes corresponding improvement measures.By introducing innovative teaching concepts and strategies,the teaching system for professional courses is optimized,and authentic classroom scenarios are recreated through illustrative examples.Questionnaire surveys and statistical analyses of data collected before and after the teaching reforms indicate that the curriculum changes effectively enhance instructional outcomes,promote the development of the major,and improve the quality of talent cultivation.

文摘With the rapid development of new quality productivity and the in-depth advancement of digital transformation,vocational college libraries,as important supporting institutions for teaching and research,are facing the dual challenges of service model transformation and capacity improvement.Based on the changes in the demand for digital academic services under the background of new quality productivity,this paper systematically analyzes the current situation and problems of the digital academic service capabilities of librarians in vocational colleges,constructs a capability model including four dimensions:cognitive attitude,knowledge reserve,skill application,and communication and sharing,and proposes capability improvement strategies from aspects such as organizational incentives,professional training,service innovation,and technical support.Research shows that librarians in vocational colleges need to comprehensively enhance their digital academic service capabilities through paths such as concept renewal,skill strengthening,service transformation,and environment optimization,in order to adapt to the demands of educational reform in the era of new quality productivity.
