The new energy power generation is becoming increasingly important in the power system.Such as photovoltaic power generation has become a research hotspot,however,due to the characteristics of light radiation changes,photovoltaic power generation is unstable and random,resulting in a low utilization rate and directly affecting the stability of the power grid.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for a newenergy power generation system with a hybrid energy storage unit based on the lithium iron phosphate-supercapacitor hybrid energy storage unit.Firstly,the variational mode decomposition algorithm is used to separate the high and low frequencies of the power signal,which is conducive to the rapid and accurate suppression of the power fluctuation of the energy storage system.Secondly,the fuzzy control algorithm is introduced to balance the power between energy storage.In this paper,the actual data is used for simulation,and the simulation results show that the strategy realizes the effective suppression of the bus voltage fluctuation and the accurate control of the internal state of the energy storage unit,effectively avoiding problems such as overshoot and over-discharge,and can significantly improve the stability of the photovoltaic power generation systemand the stability of the Direct Current bus.It is of great significance to promote the development of collaborative control technology for photovoltaic hybrid energy storage units. 展开更多

To ensure frequency stability in power systems with high wind penetration,the doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG)is often used with the frequency fast response control(FFRC)to participate in frequency response.However,a certain output power suppression amount(OPSA)is generated during frequency support,resulting in the frequency modulation(FM)capability of DFIG not being fully utilised,and the system’s unbalanced power will be increased during speed recovery,resulting in a second frequency drop(SFD)in the system.Firstly,the frequency response characteristics of the power system with DFIG containing FFRC are analysed.Then,based on the analysis of the generation mechanism of OPSA and SFD,a combined wind-storage FM control strategy is proposed to improve the system’s frequency response characteristics.This strategy reduces the effect of OPSA and improves the FM capability of DFIG by designing the fuzzy logic of the coefficients of FFRC according to the system frequency index in the frequency support stage.During the speed recovery stage,the energy storage(ES)active power reference value is calculated according to the change of DFIG rotor speed,and the ES output power is dynamically adjusted to reduce the SFD.Finally,taking the IEEE 39-bus test system as an example,real-time digital simulation verification was conducted based on the RTLAB OP5707 simulation platform.The simulation results showthat theproposedmethodcan improve theFMcapabilityofDFIG,reduce the SFDunder thepremise of guaranteeing the rapid rotor speed recovery,and avoid the overshooting phenomenon so that the systemfrequency can be quickly restored to a stable state. 展开更多

Terahertz(THz)wireless communication has the capability to connect massive devices using its ultra-large spectrum resource.We propose a hybrid precoding scheme for the cluster-based multi-carrier beam division multiple access(MC-BDMA)to enable THz massive connections.Both the inter-beam interference and inter-band power leakage in this system are considered.A mathematical model is established to analyze and reduce their effects on the THz signal transmission.By considering the peculiarities of THz channels and characteristics of THz hardware components,we further propose a three-step hybrid precoding algorithm with low complexity,where the received signal power enhancement,the inter-beam interference elimination,and the inter-band power leakage suppression are conducted in succession.Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the high spectrum efficiency and high energy efficiency of our proposed algorithm,especially in the massive-connection scenarios. 展开更多

Previous studies have demonstrated that disharmony among voltage-source-controlled units may occur on an AC transmission or distribution line under steady-state operating conditions or quasi-static operating conditions.To prevent disharmony oscillations from threatening the secure and stable operation of power grids,two novel disharmony oscillation suppression(DOS)methods are proposed in this paper.First,the oscillation characteristics of single-phase instantaneous current and power under disharmony operating conditions are investigated.The key parameters and typical indicators for monitoring disharmony oscillations,such as disharmony frequency and average power,are listed.Second,two DOS strategies are designed based on directly monitoring the frequency difference and indirectly monitoring line power,respectively.Finally,the characteristics of disharmony oscillations are thoroughly analyzed through a case study,and the proposed DOS strategies are validated in simulations using MATLAB/Simulink. 展开更多
