文摘In recent years, tuned liquid dampers(TLDs)have attracted significant research interest;however, overall progress has been limited due to insufficient understanding of the mechanisms governing sloshing-induced loads. In particular,it remains unclear whether the water in aqueducts—common water-diversion structures in many countries—can serve as an effective TLD.This study investigates the generation mechanisms of sloshing loads during the first-order transverse resonance of water in a U-shaped aqueduct using a two-dimensional(2D)numerical model. The results reveal that,at the equilibrium position, the free surface difference between the left and right walls, the horizontal force on the aqueduct, and the fluctuating component of the vertical force all reach their maxima, with energy predominantly stored as potential energy. At the maximum displacement position, the surface difference and horizontal force drop to zero, while the fluctuating vertical force attains its minimum and energy shifts primarily to kinetic form.At this stage, static pressure is governed solely by the vertical convective acceleration, whereas at equilibrium it is closely linked to both the free surface difference and vertical local acceleration of the water. This dynamic energy exchange generates vertical force oscillations even when the free surface appears nearly symmetric.

文摘As a core power device in strategic industries such as new energy power generation and electric vehicles, the thermal reliability of IGBT modules directly determines the performance and lifetime of the whole system.A synergistic optimization structure of“inlet plate-channel spoiler columns”is proposed for the local hot spot problem during the operation of Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor(IGBT),combined with the inherent defect of uneven flow distribution of the traditional U-type liquid cooling plate in this paper. The influences of the shape, height(H),and spacing from the spoiler column(b)of the plate on the comprehensive heat dissipation performance of the liquid cooling plate are analyzed at different Reynolds numbers,A dual heat source strategy is introduced and the effect of the optimized structure is evaluated by the temperature inhomogeneity coefficient(Φ).The results show that the optimum effect is achieved when the shape of the plate is square,H=4.5 mm,b=2 mm,and u=0.05 m/s,at which the HTPE=1.09 and Φ are reduced by 40%.In contrast, the maximum temperatures of the IGBT and the FWD(Free Wheeling Diode)chips are reduced by 8.7 and 8.4 K,respectively, and ΔP rises by only 1.58 Pa while keeping ΔT not significantly increased. This optimized configuration achieves a significant reduction in the critical chip temperature and optimization of the flow field uniformity with almost no change in the system flow resistance. It breaks through the limitation of single structure optimization of the traditional liquid cooling plate and effectively solves the problem of uneven flow in the U-shaped cooling plate, which provides a new solution with important engineering value for the thermal management of IGBT modules.

文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a highly heterogenous dis-ease in histology, genetic aberrations, and protein expression.Over the past decade, the development of new omics techniques has fa-cilitated significant advances in the field of molecular typing stud-ies of HCC.In the era of precision medicine,it is of great signif-icance to improve the efficacy of HCC treatment based on tumor molecular subtyping.Cytokeratin(CK)19-positive HCC has gained increasing atten-tion.Although CK19 is a marker of biliary epithelial cells,10%−30%of HCCs are observed to be CK19 positive[1].Differing from com-bined hepatocellular and cholangiocarcinoma,CK19-positive HCC displays typical HCC morphological features, exhibiting strong co-express of both hepatocyte and cholangiocyte markers within the same tumor cells.Consequently,CK19-positive HCC is also referred to as dual-phenotype HCC,with displaying cholangiolar differenti-ation.
文摘Pedestrian detection has been a hot spot in computer vision over the past decades due to the wide spectrum of promising applications, and the major challenge is false positives that occur during pedestrian detection. The emergence of various Convolutional Neural Network-based detection strategies substantially enhances pedestrian detection accuracy but still does not solve this problem well. This paper deeply analyzes the detection framework of the two-stage CNN detection methods and finds out false positives in detection results are due to its training strategy misclassifying some false proposals, thus weakening the classification capability of the following subnetwork and hardly suppressing false ones.To solve this problem, this paper proposes a pedestrian-sensitive training algorithm to help two-stage CNN detection methods effectively learn to distinguish the pedestrian and non-pedestrian samples and suppress the false positives in the final detection results. The core of the proposed algorithm is to redesign the training proposal generating scheme for the two-stage CNN detection methods, which can avoid a certain number of false ones that mislead its training process. With the help of the proposed algorithm, the detection accuracy of the MetroNext,a smaller and more accurate metro passenger detector,is further improved, which further decreases false ones in its metro passenger detection results.Based on various challenging benchmark datasets, experiment results have demonstrated that the feasibility of the proposed algorithm is effective in improving pedestrian detection accuracy by removing false positives.Compared with the existing state-of-the-art detection networks,PSTNet demonstrates better overall prediction performance in accuracy, total number of parameters, and inference time;thus,it can become a practical solution for hunting pedestrians on various hardware platforms, especially for mobile and edge devices.

文摘Positive emotional experiences can improve learning efficiency and cognitive ability, stimulate students’interest in learning, and improve teacher-student relationships. However, positive emotions in the classroom are primarily identified through teachers’observations and postclass questionnaires or interviews. The expression intensity of students, which is extremely important for fine-grained emotion analysis,is not considered.Hence,a novel method based on smile intensity estimation using sequence-relative key-frame labeling is presented. This method aims to recognize the positive emotion levels of a student in an end-to-end framework.First, the intensity label is generated robustly for each frame in the expression sequence based on the relative key frames to address the lack of annotations for smile intensity. Then,a deep-asymmetric convolutional neural network learns the expression model through dual neural networks,to enhance the stability of the network model and avoid the extreme attention region learned.Further, dual neural networks and the dual attention mechanism are integrated using the intensity label based on the relative key frames as the supervised information. Thus, diverse features are effectively extracted and subtle appearance differences between different smiles are perceived based on different perspectives. Finally, comparative experiments for the convergence speed,model-training parameters, confusion matrix, and classification probability are performed. The proposed method was applied to a real classroom scene to analyze the emotions of students.Numerous experiments validated that the proposed method is promising for analyzing the differences in the positive emotion of students while learning in a classroom.

文摘Objectives:The climate crisis demands urgent action from all sectors of society, including young people in higher education. While previous research has explored individual and contextual predictors of pro-environmental behaviour(PEB),the contribution of Positive Youth Development(PYD)remains underexplored. This study investigates the relationship between PYD dimensions(Competence,Confidence,Connection,Character, and Caring)and two environmental outcomes:environmental habits and climate change awareness, considering gender differences. Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample of 1779 students from 10 universities in Andalusia(Spain).Data were collected through an online survey assessing PYD indicators,PEB,and sociodemographic variables.Descriptive statistics,t-tests,correlation analyses, and multiple mediation models were performed. Results:Descriptive analyses indicated moderate levels of PYD dimensions and PEB across the sample.Among the 5 Cs,Caring had a positive association with environmental habits(r 0.22,p 0.001)and climate change awareness(r=<=0.30,p 0.001).Character also had a positive effect on both environmental habits(r 0.23,p 0.001)and climate<=<change awareness(r 0.30,p 0.001).Competence and Confidence were not significantly associated, and Connection=<demonstrated limited predictive value, potentially influenced by contextual or social factors.Gender differences were also identified, with women showing higher scores in Character(d 0.29,p 0.001),Caring(d 0.63,p 0.001),=<=<environmental habits(d 0.20,p 0.001)and climate change awareness(d 0.40,p 0.001),while men scored higher in=<=<Competence(d 0.57,p 0.001)and Confidence(d 0.22,p 0.001).Mediation analyses indicated that the association=<=<between gender and environmental habits was totally explained by Character(β95%CI:and=-0.02;-0.04;-0.01)Caring(β95%CI:Furthermore,the relationship between gender and climate change awareness=-0.04;-0.05,-0.02).was partially mediated by Character(β95%CI:and Caring(β95%CI:=-0.03;-0.05;-0.02)=-0.05;-0.07,-0.03).Conclusions:Females showed more environmental habits and climate change awareness than males, because of their greater scores in both Caring and Character dimensions of PYD.These findings highlight the importance of the PYD for promoting PEB and engaged citizens among young adults.Gender-sensitive and interdisciplinary interventions, such as environmental volunteering and community-based programmes, are recommended for university contexts to enhance sustainable development behaviours and values.

文摘Adolescence is a crucial period marked by significant developmental changes, during which risk-taking behaviors can be both a normative part of development and a potential source of concern. However, prior research has focused predominantly on the adverse aspects of risk-taking(i.e.,negative risk-taking),overlooked the positive counterpart(i.e.,positive risk-taking),and lacked a detailed examination of both. This study aims to elucidate the distinct characteristics and interrelationships of positive and negative risk-taking behaviors among adoles-cents and to identify the key factors that influence these behaviors.Through a comprehensive synthesis of theoretical and empirical literature,we explore the multifaceted nature of risk-taking,highlighting its complex influencing factors, including individual traits, family dynamics, peer influence, school environment, and broader community contexts.By identifying the shared and unique factors contributing to positive and negative risk-taking behaviors,we can enable adolescents to navigate this complex stage of life and design targeted interventions.Future research directions include the application of person-centered approaches, the implementation of longitudinal tracking and the interactive effects of influencing factors, among other aspects.
