Far-right parties have acquired special political features that are grounded on a broad variety of far-right ideological norms and political instruments. Far-right parties challenge the state government and policy offering the key （anti-immigration politics） to solve a variety of complicated issues. The main idea of the article is that far-right parties are flexible enough in their political rhetoric and instruments to gain electoral support. Seven positive steps that the government of Ethiopia may consider to take to create conducive environment for peacemaking are outlined. To actualized what is being proposed in this concept paper, three teams of mediators/shemagles are to be organized; Team one＇s role is to work with the government for inside-out negotiation and similarly Team two＇s role is to work with the alternative parties. The number of blogs and other forms of opinionated online content has increased dramatically in recent years.Many fields,including academia and national security,place an emphasis on automated political article orient...The number of blogs and other forms of opinionated online content has increased dramatically in recent years.Many fields,including academia and national security,place an emphasis on automated political article orientation detection.Political articles(especially in the Arab world)are different from other articles due to their subjectivity,in which the author’s beliefs and political affiliation might have a significant influence on a political article.With categories representing the main political ideologies,this problem may be thought of as a subset of the text categorization(classification).In general,the performance of machine learning models for text classification is sensitive to hyperparameter settings.Furthermore,the feature vector used to represent a document must capture,to some extent,the complex semantics of natural language.To this end,this paper presents an intelligent system to detect political Arabic article orientation that adapts the categorical boosting(CatBoost)method combined with a multi-level feature concept.Extracting features at multiple levels can enhance the model’s ability to discriminate between different classes or patterns.Each level may capture different aspects of the input data,contributing to a more comprehensive representation.CatBoost,a robust and efficient gradient-boosting algorithm,is utilized to effectively learn and predict the complex relationships between these features and the political orientation labels associated with the articles.A dataset of political Arabic texts collected from diverse sources,including postings and articles,is used to assess the suggested technique.Conservative,reform,and revolutionary are the three subcategories of these opinions.The results of this study demonstrate that compared to other frequently used machine learning models for text classification,the CatBoost method using multi-level features performs better with an accuracy of 98.14%.展开更多

Focusing on investment security along the Belt and Road(B&R)routes,this study analyzes the geopolitical environment(GE)of countries(regions)along the B&R routes from two dimensions:political and business envir...Focusing on investment security along the Belt and Road(B&R)routes,this study analyzes the geopolitical environment(GE)of countries(regions)along the B&R routes from two dimensions:political and business environment(PBE)and political orientation.The results show that since the proposal of the B&R Initiative in 2013,the PBE of these countries(regions)has shown slight improvement but with significant spatial disparities,presenting a pattern of better conditions in the eastern and western regions and poorer conditions in the central regions.There is no strong spatial dependence in the PBE among these countries(regions),but a weak homogenization trend toward improvement is observed.Low-scoring countries(regions)are mainly located in former Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS),the Middle East,and the Indochina Peninsula.These countries(regions)exhibit weak interconnections,demonstrating a characteristic of“similarity without harmony.”(a Confucian concept describing nations sharing superficial traits but lacking substantive cooperation).Therefore,the B&R construction should adopt a clustered and contiguous breakthrough strategy.The evaluation of political orientation reveals significant political divergence among B&R countries(regions),with varying attitudes toward China.Moreover,as pro-China sentiment increases,the PBE tends to deteriorate.This negative correlation suggests that countries(regions)actively engaging in the B&R Initiative generally face political instability and economic underdevelopment,and seek to leverage the B&R Initiative for domestic growth.Consequently,while prioritizing investment security,it is important for the B&R construction to actively promote Chinese values in order to garner support and participation from countries(regions)with more favorable PBE.Given the generally underdeveloped PBE and political polarization among B&R countries(regions),China urgently needs to develop a geopolitical theory aligned with the B&R's geopolitical model to safeguard its advancement.Simultaneously,China should reshape geopolitical narratives to reclaim discourse power in political interpretation.This study provides preliminary insights into cross-country(regional)political polarization and contributes to advancing GE research.展开更多

文摘This study aims to address the problems existing in the ideological and political education of postgraduate students,and combines the implementation of the mentor responsibility system to explore the role orientation,work content,and practical effects of mentors in the ideological and political education of postgraduate students.Through questionnaire surveys,interviews,and other research methods,the current situation of ideological and political education of postgraduate students under the mentor responsibility system is analyzed,and corresponding optimization strategies are proposed.
文摘The aim of this research is to delve into the development and refinement of a curriculum focused on ideological and political education,rooted in the principles of Party-building.The study underscores the importance of merging theoretical knowledge with practical application,guided by innovative pedagogical approaches aimed at producing individuals with robust political consciousness and moral integrity,who are poised to become the next generation of socialist leaders and inheritors.This paper scrutinizes the strategies employed by higher education institutions to develop a curriculum system that places Party-building and ideological education at its core.By instituting a multi-layered and all-encompassing curriculum,the emphasis is on the synthesis of theory with practice.Students are motivated to integrate their academic insights through the examination of case studies and engagement with practical scenarios,thereby narrowing the divide between theoretical understanding and its practical application.In addition,educational institutions are increasingly incorporating cutting-edge technologies to invigorate teaching methods,thereby heightening student involvement and the efficacy of the courses.Concurrently,a comprehensive evaluation framework is being formulated to gauge students’proficiency in ideological and political realms,which is instrumental in nurturing their holistic development.The discoveries of this research yield significant insights and propose strategies for the ongoing enhancement of ideological and political education at the university level.It advocates for the continuous evolution of educational practices to meet the evolving needs of cultivating socially responsible and politically astute leaders.

文摘This study takes the virtual business society environment(VBSE)practical training course as a case study and applies the theoretical framework of the context,input,process,product(CIPP)model to construct an evaluation indicator system for the application of civic and politics in professional practice courses.The context evaluation is measured from the support of the VBSE practical training course into course civic and politics,teachers’cognition,and the integration of course objectives;the input evaluation is measured from the matching degree of teachers’civic and political competence,and the matching degree of teaching resources;the process evaluation is measured from the degree of implementation of civic and politics teaching and the degree of students’acceptance;and the product evaluation is measured from the degree of impact of civic and politics teaching.

文摘Focusing on investment security along the Belt and Road(B&R)routes,this study analyzes the geopolitical environment(GE)of countries(regions)along the B&R routes from two dimensions:political and business environment(PBE)and political orientation.The results show that since the proposal of the B&R Initiative in 2013,the PBE of these countries(regions)has shown slight improvement but with significant spatial disparities,presenting a pattern of better conditions in the eastern and western regions and poorer conditions in the central regions.There is no strong spatial dependence in the PBE among these countries(regions),but a weak homogenization trend toward improvement is observed.Low-scoring countries(regions)are mainly located in former Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS),the Middle East,and the Indochina Peninsula.These countries(regions)exhibit weak interconnections,demonstrating a characteristic of“similarity without harmony.”(a Confucian concept describing nations sharing superficial traits but lacking substantive cooperation).Therefore,the B&R construction should adopt a clustered and contiguous breakthrough strategy.The evaluation of political orientation reveals significant political divergence among B&R countries(regions),with varying attitudes toward China.Moreover,as pro-China sentiment increases,the PBE tends to deteriorate.This negative correlation suggests that countries(regions)actively engaging in the B&R Initiative generally face political instability and economic underdevelopment,and seek to leverage the B&R Initiative for domestic growth.Consequently,while prioritizing investment security,it is important for the B&R construction to actively promote Chinese values in order to garner support and participation from countries(regions)with more favorable PBE.Given the generally underdeveloped PBE and political polarization among B&R countries(regions),China urgently needs to develop a geopolitical theory aligned with the B&R's geopolitical model to safeguard its advancement.Simultaneously,China should reshape geopolitical narratives to reclaim discourse power in political interpretation.This study provides preliminary insights into cross-country(regional)political polarization and contributes to advancing GE research.

文摘In the context of modern holistic education,integrating“ideological and political education”into specialized courses is a new requirement for professional teaching.In order to seamlessly integrate ideological education into academic disciplines through subtle influence,it is essential to identify and design suitable ideological elements.Based on the interdisciplinary nature of chemical engineering curricula,this paper focuses on core socialist values,patriotic sentiment,professional ethics,and the spirit of scientific innovation.It identifies key ideological elements such as“a strong chemical industry makes a strong nation”and“patriotism and maritime power,”analyzes their manifestations of value,and explores their relevance and significance in ideological education across different chemical engineering courses.

文摘This paper focuses on the ideological and political construction of the“Introduction to High-Speed Railway”course in higher vocational colleges.Based on the national policy orientation of ideological and political education in courses and the talent demands of the high-speed railway industry,it comprehensively employs methods such as literature research and questionnaire surveys to analyze the current status and problems of ideological and political construction in the course.The research finds that there are issues such as insufficient in-depth exploration of ideological and political elements,inadequate teacher capabilities,monotonous teaching methods,and the absence of an evaluation system.In response to these problems,it proposes strategies such as deepening the exploration of ideological and political elements,enhancing teacher capabilities,innovating teaching methods,and improving the evaluation system.It aims to construct a collaborative system of“knowledge impartation+value guidance+practical education”,providing theoretical and practical references for the ideological and political construction of courses in higher vocational transportation-related majors.
