Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of Quality Control Circle(QCC)activities in reducing the loss rate during storage of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)decoction pieces in our hospital pharmacy department.Met...Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of Quality Control Circle(QCC)activities in reducing the loss rate during storage of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)decoction pieces in our hospital pharmacy department.Methods:A QCC team was established to systematically analyze the causes of TCM decoction piece losses.Using quality improvement tools including Pareto charts,the 80/20 rule,and fishbone diagrams,we identified key areas for improvement and developed targeted intervention strategies.The study period spanned from January to December 2023,with pre-intervention data collected from January to December 2022.Loss rates were calculated and compared before and after QCC implementation.Results:According to the“80/20 rule”analysis,the primary improvement targets were identified as inadequate maintenance of decoction pieces and dispensing losses.Following QCC implementation,the loss rate of TCM decoction pieces decreased significantly from 1.27%(pre-intervention)to 0.65%(post-intervention),achieving an improvement rate of 47.40%.The total monetary loss decreased from 9,592.62 RMB to 4,546.97 RMB.Conclusion:QCC activities can effectively reduce the loss rate of TCM decoction pieces in hospital pharmacy departments,improve the quality of herbal medicines,ensure patient medication safety,and enhance pharmaceutical service quality.This systematic approach provides a valuable framework for continuous quality improvement in TCM pharmacy management.展开更多
This paper presents a dual-platform scanner for dental reconstruction based on a three-dimensional(3D)laser-scanning method.The scanner combines translation and rotation platforms to perform a holistic scanning.A hybr...This paper presents a dual-platform scanner for dental reconstruction based on a three-dimensional(3D)laser-scanning method.The scanner combines translation and rotation platforms to perform a holistic scanning.A hybrid calibration method for laser scanning is proposed to improve convenience and precision.This method includes an integrative method for data collection and a hybrid algorithm for data processing.The integrative method conveniently collects a substantial number of calibrating points with a stepped gauge and a pattern for both the translation and rotation scans.The hybrid algorithm,which consists of a basic model and a compensation network,achieves strong stability with a small degree of errors.The experiments verified the hybrid calibration method and the scanner application for the measurement of dental pieces.Two typical dental pieces were measured,and the experimental results demonstrated the validity of the measurement that was performed using the dual-platform scanner.This method is effective for the 3D reconstruction of dental pieces,as well as that of objects with irregular shapes in engineering fields.展开更多

Near-infrared （NIR） and mid-infrared （MIR） technology combined with supervised pattern recognition based on partial least-squares discriminant analysis （PLSDA） was attempted to classify and recognize six different concocted processing pieces of 600 Areca catechu L. samples and the influence of fingerprint information preprocessing methods on recognition performance was also investigated in this work. Recognition rates of 99.24%, 100% and 99.49% for original fingerprint, multiple scatter correct （MSC） fingerprint and second derivative （2nd derivative） fingerprint of NIR spectra were achieved by PLSDA models, respectively. Meanwhile, a perfect recognition rate of 100% was obtained for the above three fingerprint models of MIR spectra. In conclusion, PLSDA can rapidly and effectively extract otherness of fingerprint information from NIR and MIR spectra to identify different concocted herbal pieces ofA. catechu.展开更多
Objective:Compared to Chinese herbal piecesherbal pieces,the quality of TCM granule is stable and controllable,it is also a convenient alternative to decocting herbs.However,whether they are as clinically effective as...Objective:Compared to Chinese herbal piecesherbal pieces,the quality of TCM granule is stable and controllable,it is also a convenient alternative to decocting herbs.However,whether they are as clinically effective as Chinese herbal piecesherbal pieces is still controversial.In this study,a systematic review and meta-analysis were performed to assess the clinical efficacy of TCM granules and Chinese herbal piecesherbal pieces.Methods:A search of online databases for eligible articles was performed,including PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Internet,WanFang,and Chongqing VIP Information,searching from the inception of these databases to 2020.The Cochrane Handbook 5.1.0 was used to independently identify the trials,extract data,and assess the risk of bias.The meta-analysis was performed via RevMan 5.3 software.Results:A total of 98 eligible articles were included.After classification and statistical analysis of the related diseases,a meta-analysis was performed on 8 types of illnesses(cold,hypertension,migraine,osteoporosis,and diseases of the digestive system,such as gastritis,gastric ulcer,colitis,epigastric pain)included in 66 randomized controlled trials to compare the clinical efficacy and adverse events of TCM granules and Chinese herbal pieces.Meta-analysis showed that compared with Chinese herbal piecesherbal pieces,TCM granules had similar effectiveness and safety in treating cold,hypertension,and osteoporosis,but a higher response rate in migraines and a better effect in reducing migraine duration and higher response rate on diseases of the digestive system.Conclusion:Compared with the traditional decoctions,TCM formula granules had the same efficacy and safety,moreover,they had higher efficacy and safety in treating migraines and digestive system diseases.展开更多

METHODS:Based on Prescription Administrative Policy, Management Standard of Chinese Herbal Pieces in Hospital, and Beijing Chinese Herbal Pieces Dispensing Regulation, 2000 prescriptions were collected and analyzed according to the different intervention, and solutions were put forward for a variety of reasons. RESULTS: In 2000 prescriptions, there were 932 prescriptions containing toxic drug overdose without double signature, 577 prescriptions of dose error, 282 prescriptions of ingredients error, 85 prescriptions with wrong route of administration, 73 prescriptions of herb incompatibility without double signature, and 51 prescriptions with repeat herbs, accounting for 46.5%, 28.85%, 14.1%, 4.25%, 3.65% and2.55% of the total number of prescriptions respectively. After the intervention of pharmacists, 2000 prescriptions were all successfully intervened to protect the safety of medication. CONCLUSIONS: TCM pharmacist should double check prescriptions with errors issued by doctors, so as to reduce the prescription error rate, and ensure the safety of medication and rehabilitation of patients, and then improve values of pharmacists.展开更多

Objective To provide suggestions for optimizing the sampling management of Chinese herbal pieces and improving the quality Chinese herbal pieces.Methods Logical reasoning method was used to analyze the problems in the...Objective To provide suggestions for optimizing the sampling management of Chinese herbal pieces and improving the quality Chinese herbal pieces.Methods Logical reasoning method was used to analyze the problems in the drug spot check of Chinese herbal pieces based on the data of drug quality published by the National Medical Products Administration from 2013 to 2021,combined with the current provisions and implementation of drug spot check management in China.Results and Conclusion At present,there are some problems in the drug spot check of Chinese herbal pieces,such as fewer varieties of Chinese herbal pieces in the national drug spot check,the unreasonable sampling links,the insufficient territorial management in some areas,and error-prone sample extraction.It is suggested that the actual quantity and overall quality of Chinese herbal pieces should be fully considered in the formulation of sampling plan.Besides,the variety coverage of drug spot check of traditional Chinese medicine should be strengthened.In the planning,the sampling links shall be made as a whole,and the credit rating and distribution of drug production,operation and use units within the jurisdiction shall be fully combined.While strengthening the sampling management at the production end in areas with concentrated industries,regional special drug spot check should be carried out or the administrative forces at the provincial,municipal and county levels should be fully mobilized to avoid local protection.In the assigned tasks,the name of Chinese herbal pieces should be accurately expressed to avoid the sampling errors of Chinese herbal pieces with the same original medicinal materials and different processing methods.展开更多

Objective: in view of the influence of different processing methods of traditional Chinese medicine on the actual curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, a comprehensive and in-depth analysis...Objective: in view of the influence of different processing methods of traditional Chinese medicine on the actual curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, a comprehensive and in-depth analysis and research are carried out. Methods: one hundred and twenty patients from 2016 to 2017 were selected from our hospital as the research object. All patients were divided into three groups by the way of random average grouping, that is, Group A, Group B and Group C. For all the patients in Group A, the TCM water treatment pre-grading method was used, all patients in Group B were treated with traditional Chinese medicine before processing, and all patients in Group C were treated with traditional Chinese medicine before water treatment and before processing. After a period of treatment, the clinical treatment conditions of patients in three groups were compared comprehensively. Results: the comprehensive efficiency of clinical treatment of patients in Group C exceeded 90%, which was significantly higher than the treatment effect of Group A and B. Conclusion: the processing method of traditional Chinese medicine plays an important role in improving the clinical treatment effect of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces. Therefore, in the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine processing, students should be actively taught relevant knowledge before water treatment and before processing, so as to promote students' in-depth understanding and mastery of the processing method of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces.展开更多

Methods: 120 prescriptions of decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine in the traditional Chinese medicine room of our hospital from August 2017 to August 2019 were selected as the control group. The problems of decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine were collected without maintenance and management intervention;120 prescriptions of decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine in the traditional Chinese medicine room of our hospital from June 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the observation group. Comprehensive maintenance and management intervention was adopted to collect the improvement effect of the quality problems of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces. Results: there were 64 cases of quality problems in the control group, accounting for 53.33%. After comprehensive maintenance and management, there were 9 cases of quality problems, accounting for 7.53%. The problem incidence, qualified rate and waste rate of medicinal materials in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the professional ability was higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the comprehensive maintenance and management intervention of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces can significantly improve the quality of decoction pieces and has a certain therapeutic effect.展开更多

文摘Objective To provide suggestions for optimizing the sampling management of Chinese herbal pieces and improving the quality Chinese herbal pieces.Methods Logical reasoning method was used to analyze the problems in the drug spot check of Chinese herbal pieces based on the data of drug quality published by the National Medical Products Administration from 2013 to 2021,combined with the current provisions and implementation of drug spot check management in China.Results and Conclusion At present,there are some problems in the drug spot check of Chinese herbal pieces,such as fewer varieties of Chinese herbal pieces in the national drug spot check,the unreasonable sampling links,the insufficient territorial management in some areas,and error-prone sample extraction.It is suggested that the actual quantity and overall quality of Chinese herbal pieces should be fully considered in the formulation of sampling plan.Besides,the variety coverage of drug spot check of traditional Chinese medicine should be strengthened.In the planning,the sampling links shall be made as a whole,and the credit rating and distribution of drug production,operation and use units within the jurisdiction shall be fully combined.While strengthening the sampling management at the production end in areas with concentrated industries,regional special drug spot check should be carried out or the administrative forces at the provincial,municipal and county levels should be fully mobilized to avoid local protection.In the assigned tasks,the name of Chinese herbal pieces should be accurately expressed to avoid the sampling errors of Chinese herbal pieces with the same original medicinal materials and different processing methods.
文摘Traditional Chinese medicine decoction piece is a kind of medicine that people understand based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and apply in clinic. It can be used for disease prevention and control, rehabilitation and health care of the public. Traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces are mostly used for plants, and a few are used for minerals and animals. Their raw materials are traditional Chinese medicines, which have certain use specifications, and their processing methods are also different. In order to implement the Medium and Long-term Talent Development Plan for Medicine and Health (2011-2020) and the "Twelfth Five-year Plan" for the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, understand the authentic medicinal materials and drug processing, and propose quality control measures for Chinese herbal pieces, and apply them to clinical practice. It is a good plan to promote the quality control effect of Chinese herbal pieces in hospitals.
文摘Objective: in view of the influence of different processing methods of traditional Chinese medicine on the actual curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, a comprehensive and in-depth analysis and research are carried out. Methods: one hundred and twenty patients from 2016 to 2017 were selected from our hospital as the research object. All patients were divided into three groups by the way of random average grouping, that is, Group A, Group B and Group C. For all the patients in Group A, the TCM water treatment pre-grading method was used, all patients in Group B were treated with traditional Chinese medicine before processing, and all patients in Group C were treated with traditional Chinese medicine before water treatment and before processing. After a period of treatment, the clinical treatment conditions of patients in three groups were compared comprehensively. Results: the comprehensive efficiency of clinical treatment of patients in Group C exceeded 90%, which was significantly higher than the treatment effect of Group A and B. Conclusion: the processing method of traditional Chinese medicine plays an important role in improving the clinical treatment effect of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces. Therefore, in the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine processing, students should be actively taught relevant knowledge before water treatment and before processing, so as to promote students' in-depth understanding and mastery of the processing method of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces.

Magnetic gears transmit torque by magnetic forces without contact and so avoid contact-related problems. The present paper discusses magnet arrangements and the shape of stationary gear teeth to improve transmission torque in surface magnet type magnetic gear transmission mechanisms.
文摘Objective: to study the problems and management value in the maintenance and management of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces in traditional Chinese medicine pharmacy. Methods: 120 prescriptions of decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine in the traditional Chinese medicine room of our hospital from August 2017 to August 2019 were selected as the control group. The problems of decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine were collected without maintenance and management intervention;120 prescriptions of decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine in the traditional Chinese medicine room of our hospital from June 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the observation group. Comprehensive maintenance and management intervention was adopted to collect the improvement effect of the quality problems of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces. Results: there were 64 cases of quality problems in the control group, accounting for 53.33%. After comprehensive maintenance and management, there were 9 cases of quality problems, accounting for 7.53%. The problem incidence, qualified rate and waste rate of medicinal materials in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the professional ability was higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the comprehensive maintenance and management intervention of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces can significantly improve the quality of decoction pieces and has a certain therapeutic effect.
