New unsymmetrical diamine monomer containing triaryl imidazole pendent group, 4-[4-（4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazol-2-y1）phe- noxy]-1,3-benzenediamine, was synthesized via aromatic substitution reaction of 1-chloro-2,4-din...New unsymmetrical diamine monomer containing triaryl imidazole pendent group, 4-[4-（4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazol-2-y1）phe- noxy]-1,3-benzenediamine, was synthesized via aromatic substitution reaction of 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene with 4-（4,5- diphenyl-1H-imidazol-2-y1）pbenol, followed by palladium-catalyzed hydrazine reduction. This new monomer was further confirmed by FT-IR, IH NMR and ^13C NMR. Novel polyamides having pendant triaryl imidazole group were prepared by the phosphorylation polycondensation of four commercially aromatic dicarboxylic acids with the prepared diamine. Inherent viscosities of polyamides were in the range 0.42-0.53 dL/g indicating formation of medium molecular weight polymers. Polyamides exhibited glass-transition temperature （Tg） in the range 236-265 ℃. These polymers are essentially amorphous and were soluble in polar aprotic solvents such as DMF, NMP, DMAc. The 10% weight loss temperatures in air atmosphere, measured by TGA were in the range 350-373 ℃ indicating their good thermal stabilities. ？2009 Mousa Ghaemy. The structures, solubilities and thermal properties of obtained polymers were investigated in detail. All of the resulting polymers were characterized by FTIR and IH-NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. All of the resulting polymers exhibited excellent solubility in common organic solvents, such as pyridine, tetrahydrofuran and m-cresol, as well as in polar organic solvents, such as N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone, N,N-dimethylacetamide, N,N-dimethylformamide and dimethyl sulfoxide. The modified polymers were obtained in quantitative yields with inherent viscosities between 0.47 and 0.67 dl·g^-1 Experimental results indicated that all the polymers had glass transition temperature between 198 ℃ and 262 ℃, the decomposition temperature at 10% weight loss between 398 ℃ and 531 ℃ under nitrogen.展开更多

These reactions were catalyzed by anhydrous aluminum chloride （AlCl）. The characteristic of copolymers were studied by means of advanced analytical techniques such as FT-IR,1H-NMR, DSC, TGA and WAXD. The results show glass transition temperature （Tg） in the range of 193-206℃, thermally stable in excess of 434℃ and excellent solubility in polar solvents. Methyl-substituted Poly（aryl ether sulfone ketone）s had higher glass transition temperatures, lower initial decomposition temperatures than the unsubstituted ones.展开更多

In the present investigation, novel poly（amid-imide）/zinc oxide nanocomposites（PAI/Zn O NCs） containing benzoxazole and benzimidazole pendent groups with different amounts of modified zinc oxide nanoparticles（Zn ...In the present investigation, novel poly（amid-imide）/zinc oxide nanocomposites（PAI/Zn O NCs） containing benzoxazole and benzimidazole pendent groups with different amounts of modified zinc oxide nanoparticles（Zn O NPs） were successfully prepared via the ex situ method. Poly（amid-imide）（PAI） was prepared by direct polycondensation of 2-[3,5-bis（N-trimellitimidoyl）phenyl]benzoxazole（DCA） with 5-（2-benzimidazole）-1,3-phenylenediamine（DAMI） and provided the polymeric matrix with well-designed groups. The surface of Zn O NPs was functionalized with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane（APS） coupling agent to have a better dispersion and enhancing possible interactions of NPs with functional groups of polymer matrix. The amount of APS bonded to the Zn O surface was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. PAI/Zn O nanocomposites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, and scanning electron microscopy（SEM）. SEM analysis showed that the modified Zn O nanoparticles were homogeneously dispersed in polymer matrix. In addition, TGA data indicated an enhancement of thermal stability of the nanocomposite compared with the neat polymer.展开更多

Three series of aromatic poly(imide-urea)s (PIUOa-c, PIUSa-c, and PIUNa-c) bearing pendent benzoxazole, benzothiazole or benzimidazole rings were prepared by one-pot polycondensation reaction of three bis(imide-carboxylic acid)s, 2-[3,5-bis(N-trimellitimidoyl)-phenyl]benzoxazole (1O), 2-[3,5-bis(N- trimellitimidoyl)-phenyl]benzothiazole (1S), or 2-[3,5-bis(N-trimellitimidoyl)-phenyl]benzimidazole (1N) with various kinds of aromatic diamines (a-c). The effects of the benzazole pendent groups on the polymer properties such as solubility and thermal stability were investigated by comparison of the polymers. All of the resulting polymers exhibited excellent solubility in common polar solvents. The glass transition temperature of the polymers determined by DSC thermograms were in the range 192℃ - 236℃. The first part is a theor...This study attempts to quantify the influence of spatial configuration on the functional efficiency of mosque layouts in the early Ottoman period. The literature review consists of two parts. The first part is a theoretical study of the relationship between spatial configuration and functional efficiency of mosque layouts. This part highlights the key syntactical characteristics and effect of spatial configuration on the level of functional efficiency using space syntax theory. The second part is an analytical comparative description of the changes and transfor- mations in the configurations of mosque layouts. The architectural styles are classified into six types based on layout designs. The main benchmarks and indicators involved in measuring the functional efficiency of mosque layouts are analyzed using the A-graph 2009 software program, which provides numerical results. This analysis compares entire samples of mosque layout designs for each category. The numerical results indicate the effect of spatial configurations and the functions of mosque layouts. This study shows that mosques with courtyard layouts are accessible, efficient, and flexible in terms of function because of their distinct syntactical and morphological spatial structures.展开更多

文摘Pendent groups' functionalization of polyimide is an optimum approach to improve its processability and achieve functionalized polyimide materials. There are two types of modification routes for pendent groups' functionalization of polyimide: monomer route and macromolecular route. In this paper, various approaches for pendent groups' functionalization of polyimide are introduced. At the same time, a new method to achieve functional polyimide materials without decreasing its thermal stability and mechanical properties is mentioned.

文摘The instabilities of a pendent viscous thin film underneath two corrugated ceilings are studied numerically and theoretically in comparison with the case of a flat wall. With the same initial interface perturbations, it is shown numerically that both the supercritical instability and the subcritical instability can be retarded by the in-phase corrugated ceilings. The lubrication approximation is used to explain the retardation effect of the corrugated ceiling on the supercritical instability of the pendant film, where the linear growth rate is revealed to be power three of the initial film thickness.

文摘In the present investigation, novel poly（amid-imide）/zinc oxide nanocomposites（PAI/Zn O NCs） containing benzoxazole and benzimidazole pendent groups with different amounts of modified zinc oxide nanoparticles（Zn O NPs） were successfully prepared via the ex situ method. Poly（amid-imide）（PAI） was prepared by direct polycondensation of 2-[3,5-bis（N-trimellitimidoyl）phenyl]benzoxazole（DCA） with 5-（2-benzimidazole）-1,3-phenylenediamine（DAMI） and provided the polymeric matrix with well-designed groups. The surface of Zn O NPs was functionalized with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane（APS） coupling agent to have a better dispersion and enhancing possible interactions of NPs with functional groups of polymer matrix. The amount of APS bonded to the Zn O surface was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. PAI/Zn O nanocomposites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, and scanning electron microscopy（SEM）. SEM analysis showed that the modified Zn O nanoparticles were homogeneously dispersed in polymer matrix. In addition, TGA data indicated an enhancement of thermal stability of the nanocomposite compared with the neat polymer.
文摘The preparation of new types of poly(imide-urea)s (PIUs) with high thermal stability and improved solubility was investigated. Three series of aromatic poly(imide-urea)s (PIUOa-c, PIUSa-c, and PIUNa-c) bearing pendent benzoxazole, benzothiazole or benzimidazole rings were prepared by one-pot polycondensation reaction of three bis(imide-carboxylic acid)s, 2-[3,5-bis(N-trimellitimidoyl)-phenyl]benzoxazole (1O), 2-[3,5-bis(N- trimellitimidoyl)-phenyl]benzothiazole (1S), or 2-[3,5-bis(N-trimellitimidoyl)-phenyl]benzimidazole (1N) with various kinds of aromatic diamines (a-c). The effects of the benzazole pendent groups on the polymer properties such as solubility and thermal stability were investigated by comparison of the polymers. All of the resulting polymers exhibited excellent solubility in common polar solvents. The glass transition temperature of the polymers determined by DSC thermograms were in the range 192℃ - 236℃. The temperatures at 10% weight loss from their TGA curves were found to be in the range 390℃ - 441℃ in nitrogen.

文摘This study attempts to quantify the influence of spatial configuration on the functional efficiency of mosque layouts in the early Ottoman period. The literature review consists of two parts. The first part is a theoretical study of the relationship between spatial configuration and functional efficiency of mosque layouts. This part highlights the key syntactical characteristics and effect of spatial configuration on the level of functional efficiency using space syntax theory. The second part is an analytical comparative description of the changes and transfor- mations in the configurations of mosque layouts. The architectural styles are classified into six types based on layout designs. The main benchmarks and indicators involved in measuring the functional efficiency of mosque layouts are analyzed using the A-graph 2009 software program, which provides numerical results. This analysis compares entire samples of mosque layout designs for each category. The numerical results indicate the effect of spatial configurations and the functions of mosque layouts. This study shows that mosques with courtyard layouts are accessible, efficient, and flexible in terms of function because of their distinct syntactical and morphological spatial structures.

文摘Let S(m,d,k)be the set of k-uniform supertrees with m edges and diameter d,and S1(m,d,k)be the k-uniform supertree obtained from a loose path u_(1),e_(1),u_(2),e_(2),...,u_(d),e_(d),u_(d+1),with length d by attaching m-d edges at vertex u_[d/2]+1.In this paper,we mainly determine S1(m,d,k)with the largest signless Laplacian spectral radius in S(m,d,k)for 3≤d≤m-1.We also determine the supertree with the second largest signless Laplacian spectral radius in S(m,3,k).Furthermore,we determine the unique/c-uniform supertree with the largest signless Laplacian spectral radius among all fc-uniform supertrees with n vertices and pendent edges(vertices).

文摘In response to Hashim and Zou:We appreciate the thoughtful read of our article1‘Curriculum development:a how to primer’and the commentaries about this topic by Drs Hashim and Zou.We thank Dr Hashim for bringing to light another specific type of teaching style,called here a mini-workshop,using some of the theory of the flipped classroom,which is ever more present in medical education.We vali-date that many aspects of medical educa-tion benefit from some hands-on practice,with pre-learning to be done either inde-pendently or as a group before the skill-based learning can take place.This would fit nicely with many other modalities one might consider during‘step 4:selecting teaching/educational strategies’as articulated in our primer‘one should match the learner,teacher and material to one or more of the available teaching formats.
